RTE Late Late Show viewers have claimed Daniel O’Donnell looks “ten years younger” after he stepped out on the late night show.
The Irish country legend icon joined host Patrick Kielty and American comedian Rosie O’Donnell in the hot seat tonight for a “double O’Donnell” show.
Daniel, who has sold over 15 million records worldwide, was in flying form as he sat down with the New York native, who shared the same name and surname.
However, the singer was unimpressed to hear that after moving to Ireland only three months ago, Rosie had already bagged herself an unlimited supply of O’Donnell’s crisps.
Daniel hilariously joked: “I can’t believe your here only three months and you’ve got boxes of them already.
“Well, I’ll tell you something now about O’Donnell’s crisps; I am not happy.”
The Donegal man moved on to tell Rosie how he had admired her hit US chat show which aired from 1996 to 2002, and even planned to write her a letter.
He humorously remarked: “But sure you never know you might have a chat show again, so you can have me on then.”
Of course, Daniel couldn’t go without mentioning his beloved wife and kids, and gushed over their recent trip to Disneyland, Florida.
He sweetly said: “We just had the best time. The joy that they bring me is the beyond anything I could hope for.”
Kielty then made a dig at Daniel saying: “Of course after bringing the whole family to Orlando you’re back on tour to pay for it.”
The RTÉ audience immediately burst into a roar of laughter, as Daniel sarcastically remarked: “Yes, I know, and also to pay for my O’Donnell’s crisps.”
And RTE viewers were quick to react to the music legends appearance on the show.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Oh my god, he looks 10 years younger.”
Pamela said: “This man doesn’t age.”
