Harry Potter Star Jason Isaacs Has a Problem With Mikey Madison’s ‘Anora’ After His ‘White Lotus’ Scene: “I don’t see anybody discussing her vulva”

Jason Isaacs is never the person to back down from speaking up his mind, whether it is about his roles or the film industry. Famous for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, the actor was recently seen in The White Lotus as a financier struck in a conundrum.

Recently, the internet has been abuzz with questions about Isaacs’ nude scene in The White Lotus. Questions like whether he really did get naked for the scene or was he wearing prosthetics are being asked rampantly by fans over social media. In a recent interview, instead of answering the said questions, Isaacs clapped back at the double standards of the film industry when it comes to male nudity.

Jason Isaacs stars as the wealthy financier Timothy Ratliff, vacationing in Thailand, in HBO’s The White Lotus. During the recently released fourth episode of the third season, we see his character baring it all out in front of his children, wearing only an untied bathrobe.

Naturally, fans have been busy asking if the Harry Potter star really did go all naked or was wearing a prosthetic p*nis. Well, when asked about this on CBS Morning, the actor clapped back at such questions being asked by stating the following:

A lot of people are debating it. It’s all over the internet. And it’s interesting because the best actress this year is Mikey Madison at the Oscars. And I don’t see anybody discussing her vulva, which was on [the screen] all the time.

After referring to Mikey Madison‘s nude scenes in Anora, he then went on to point out the double standards the industry has for men and women when it comes to nudity.

It’s interesting that there’s a double standard for men. But when women are naked, Margaret Qualley as well, in ‘The Substance,’ nobody would dream of talking to her about her genitalia or her n*pples or any of those things. So, its odd that there’s a double standard.

He then went on to praise Mike White, the one-man army behind the esteemed series, for his writing ability. As for the question about his p*nis in The White Lotus, the actor questioned people’s obsession with it, stating it is odd how much attention that one scene is garnering.

Jason Isaacs has been creating a lot of headlines for his full-frontal nude scene in The White Lotus‘ third season. While the actor has been dodging the question about whether or not what fans saw was the real deal, his co-stars graciously answered the ‘most buzzing question’ on the internet during a chat with TV Insider.

While Sam Nivola, who plays the youngest kid of Isaacs’ character, Lochlan Ratliff, confirmed it wasn’t the actor’s real p*nis, Sarah Catherine Hook, Piper Ratcliff (Timothy Ratliff’s daughter), confirmed it was a prosthetic and added:

It was really funny. He was very excited to do it. I think he took pride in the prosthetic.

In response, Nivola revealed: He’s like, ‘It’s my fake d*ck scene today!’ Well, male nudity has become part of The White Lotus. While in season one, it was Steve Zahn, in season two, the hunk Theo James wore a prosthetic p*nis during one scene. As the series has been renewed for a fourth season, we might expect to see similar scenes in the upcoming season.

New episodes of The White Lotus will premiere on HBO at 9 PM ET on Sunday.
