A GLOBAL music icon is set to take to the stage in Glasgow as he kicks off his world tour in the city this year.
John Legend announced he will be heading on his Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour in just a few months.

The singer will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album[/caption]
And the first stop is the Ovo Hydro on Tuesday, May 27.
The 46-year-old is best known for his huge hits such as All Of Me and Ordinary People.
The American singer, songwriter, and musician has won a total of 13 Grammy awards throughout his career.
And Legend is set to bring his acclaimed debut album back to the stage on his upcoming tour.
The tour will showcase a set list celebrating the entirety of Get Lifted, which was first released in 2004.
The album garnered eight nominations and won three Grammy Awards, including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for Ordinary People, Best R&B Album for Get Lifted, and Best New Artist.
In a post on social media, Legend wrote: “I’m so excited to announce that I’m heading back on the road for the Get Lifted 20th Anniversary Tour!
“Join me and my band for an unforgettable performance of the entire Get Lifted album—the album that introduced me to the world—plus a few favourites from my career that all of you know and love.
“Let’s celebrate 20 amazing years of Get Lifted together!”
The first stop on the world tour is in Glasgow in May.
Tickets are available from £64.95 on the Hydro’s website.
Presale will go live at 10am tomorrow morning.
General sale for tickets will then go live at 10am on Friday, March 21.
Legend will then head to the Co-op Live arena in Manchester on May 29.
The Utilita Arena in Birmingham will be the next stop the day after.
And London will be the last stop on June 1, with a gig at the O2.
The singer will visit over 40 cities across the UK, Europe, and North America.
