GETHIN Jones is a much-loved television presenter best known for fronting BBC shows including Morning Live and Blue Peter.
The star, who’s taking on a 24-hour roller skating challenge for Comic Relief, has had a number of high-profile relationships over the years — here we get to know his exes.

The Morning Live presenters Gethin Jones and Helen Skelton are taking on the Wheely Big Challenge — a 24-hour roller-skating session in aid of Comic Relief.
The duo are aiming to stay awake and skate around the clock on the throwback roller disco.

Katherine Jenkins

Gethin had a serious relationship with Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins after they met in 2007, when he was competing on Strictly Come Dancing.
They announced their engagement in February 2011 — however, the engagement was short-lived — they called it off in December of the same year.
Katherine later spoke about the breakup in a documentary, revealing it was Gethin who ended the engagement.
She said: “At the end of 2011, when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that, about two weeks later, I had to go on a UK tour where every night I’m singing songs of heartbreak.
“And every day just trying to find the energy to cope, let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it.
“Meanwhile, everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition — I wanted to take over the world.
“It was so far from the truth.”
Katherine married American painter Andrew Lewis at Hampton Court Palace in 2014.
The couple now share two children together — Aaliyah, born in September 2015, and Xander, who followed in April 2018.
Lucy Mecklenburgh
Gethin Jones had a fling with Lucy Mecklenburgh from Towie[/caption]
Three years after his split from Katherine, Gethin had a brief romance with former Towie star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
The pair reportedly started dating in August 2014 after meeting at a Give Me Sport event.
They were spotted enjoying outings and romantic meals together, but the relationship didn’t last long.
Lucy told new!: “We went out a few times a while ago but it was bad timing for both of us”.
The relationship reportedly ended due to their busy work schedules.
Lucy is now engaged to Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas.
They met on Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2017, before getting engaged in June 2019.
Katja Zwara
Gethin was involved with German underwear model Katja Zwara.
They dated for approximately a year after hooking up in February 2017.
The couple kept things pretty private and the break-up was reportedly both mutual and amicable.
Like his previous relationship with Lucy Mecklenburgh, the breakup was attributed to their busy work schedules.
Cici Coleman
Gethin and Cici were spied enjoying a night out together[/caption]
In August 2023, Gethin was rumoured to have a connection with First Dates waitress Cici Coleman.
The pair were joined at the hip watching Frankie Bridge in 2:22 A Ghost Story, in London’s West End
They enjoyed drinks after at the Apollo Theatre after the performance, before heading off to celeb haunt The Groucho Club together to carry on partying.
An insider said: “They’ve grown close and have been spending time together.”
However, neither has confirmed any romantic involvement.
