WETHERSPOONS fans are in for a treat, as the popular pub chain is dropping a whole host of new menu items in just a few weeks.
Many were left disappointed following the news that the boozer will be ditching steak mixed grills and gammon from its menu from May, in a bid to cut costs.

However, the meats will be replaced by a new range of menu items, including a mouthwatering selection of Korean-style chicken meals.
Pub-goers have until May 14th to get a last taste of the three meat dishes, before their replacements arrive.
It is unclear as of yet what the new Korean-style meals will consist of, but with punters already raving about their existing Korean chicken bowl, it is sure to fly off the shelves.
A spokesperson for the popular chain said: “Wetherspoon is making changes to its menu in May.
“This includes the removal of steaks, mixed grills and gammon on May 14.
“A new range of Gourmet Burgers will be introduced; The Big Smoke, Buffalo Burger and Cheese Meltdown, on Wed 14 May.
Included in the new menu will also be three brand new gourmet burgers, The Buffalo Burger, the Cheese Meltdown and the Big Smoke Burger.
“There will also be a range of Korean-style chicken meals added.”
The Buffalo Burger will be made using succulent grilled chicken, and is estimated to be priced at £11.96 (including a soft drink), or £13.50 (including an alcoholic drink).
The 1627-calorie meal comes with chips and six onion rings, making it a mighty feast.
Both the Cheese Meltdown and Big Smoke burgers are made using 3oz beef patties and will be priced at £7.50 with a soft drink and £8.97 including an alcoholic drink.
The Big Smoke is a BBQ beef brisket, American-style cheese and maple-cured bacon concoction, whilst the Cheese Meltdown includes American-style cheese smothered with Emmental and Cheddar sauce.
They come with chips and six onion rings, with the Big Smoke containing 1878 calories and the Cheese Meltdown containing 1614 calories.
The spokesperson continued: “Wetherspoon is confident that its menu provides a variety of choices and value-for-money meals.

“We appreciate that some customers will be disappointed with the decision to remove steaks and grills.”
Spoons’ CEO John Huston revealed last week that the popular meat dishes were being scrapped in a bid to cut costs.
In an email sent to staff, he said that the changes had been made following “much debate.”
“Following the drinks launch, in May we will be making changes to the food menu.
“The main addition will be a new gourmet burger range and the introduction of a 6oz burger patty as the standard size burger.
“After much debate, steaks, mixed grills and gammon are being removed from the menu.
“Thanks for your attention, and good luck over the St Patrick’s Day festivities.”
Spoons also launched a £2.99 breakfast deal last month, with customers able to get a breakfast muffin or small breakfast with soft or hot drink.
There are also veggie options available, which is served between 8am and midday.
Meanwhile tea and toast, which comes with two slices and either jam or marmalade, is just £2.49.
