Haaland and his Manchester City team-mates crashed out of the new-look tournament in the last 16 following a shock defeat to Al-Hilal on July 1.

The 24-year-old was pictured making a splash on a banana boat alongside girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen.
Haaland and Isabel were having a blast as they clambered all about the inflatable boat.
And that wasn’t the end of the water activities as the pair also revved up a jet ski.
Haaland kept his long hair tied back for the action as he wore a life jacket and swimming shorts.
However, he was then seen letting his hair down on a luxury yacht.
Meanwhile, bikini-clad Isabel was spotted catching some waves on a surf board.

Earlier this week the couple were pictured enjoying a swim in the ocean off of their boat.
Haaland and Isabel have a child together, but have kept their private lives a closely guarded secret and have not publicly announced the name of their kid.
The pair are believed to have met at the youth academy at Norwegian side Byrne, where both of them played football, before they started dating when he was starring at Borussia Dortmund.
City missed out on a potential £92million jackpot when they were eliminated from the Club World Cup.
But boss Pep Guardiola will be happy his squad can have a slightly longer break before the Premier League kicks back off in August.

It is not known exactly when Haaland and Co will be called back in for pre-season training.
But City will play Italian side Palermo in their only friendly on Saturday August 9.
They then kick off the Premier League campaign at Wolves a week later.
