A COMFY new knit set has landed in Dunnes Stores – and it makes a perfect airport look.
Available in three colours, the top and trousers are set to fly off the shelves.


Made from 70 per cent viscose and 30 per cent nylon, the summer set is ideal from travelling in.
The High Waisted Co-Ord Knit Trousers are lightweight and have an elastic waistband.
The retailer said: “Crafted from a lightly brushed knit fabric, these trousers are cut to a high waist with covered elastication and a wide leg silhouette. A comfortable choice for day-to-day wear.”
Retailing at €15, these bargain trousers are ideal for all seasons.
And the comfy pants range in sizes XS to XXL.
Shoppers can choose from a neutral khaki colour or black with a white stripe.
Style the trousers with the matching Short-Sleeved V-Neck Co-Ord Knit Top, also €15.
Dunnes Stores designers said the top is easy to move in.
They said: “Crafted from a soft, lightly brushed knit fabric, this longline top features a flattering v-neckline and a high-low hemline that creates movement.”
The fashion giant has dropped the top in a matching khaki, black and white option.
The casual knit tops come in sizes XS to XXL.

Meanwhile, an Irish fashion fan revealed some must-have holiday items that are currently on sale in Dunnes Stores.
Nicola, who posts on Instagram under @nicolas_notions, shares fashion inspiration for women over 40.
The style lover revealed the striking Savida Arti Denim Poplin Midi Dress for just €40.
Nicola said: “Day or night Dunnes Stores have you covered.”
It features a fitted bodice, spaghetti straps and a full midi skirt.
The retailer said: “Designed with a contemporary edge, this dress from Savida features a denim, corset-style bodice, and is finished with a lightweight poplin skirt that falls to a midi length.

It’s described as an open back kaftan with pockets, a high-low hemline and an all-over optical print.
THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 – and it was an instant hit.
Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.
During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.
Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.
The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.
“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.
“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”
The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.
They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.
“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”
Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
