Now this is quite interesting, or maybe even heartbreaking for a lot of fans. The news went viral when people got to know the upcoming Demon Slayer anime installment will completely change its episodic release format while adapting the manga’s one of the most hyped arcs, the Infinity Castle Arc!
According to some Japanese reports, we can expect to see a new movie every two years, with a total of 3 movies spanning the duration of a whopping 6 years!
However, the sad part is that amidst all the hype surrounding it, one major loophole has already been found in its marketing strategy. While the manga readers can easily see what’s going on, anime-only fans have no idea! They didn’t need to do the fans dirty with such an obvious promotional poster.
Can you guess who’s going to die in the Infinity Castle arc?
When it was first released in global theatres, the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie left everyone spellbound. It became so massive even outside of Japan, that it quite literally made anime movies mainstream all over the world. Obviously, the whole movie was already filled with insane animation (what else can you expect from Studio Ufotable), but the highlight of it was how Rengoku’s fate turned out in the end.
Throughout the movie, Rengoku became an instant fan-favorite character, so it’s quite understandable that his death was hard for people to accept.

Now, before anything else, take a look at Mugen Train’s poster for once. Where can you see Rengoku there? Top left, right? Now, look at the Infinity Castle’s promotional poster. Who can you see there in the exact same position, the top left corner?
If this doesn’t already make it obvious, then who knows what will. The fact that Shinobu Kouchou is right there where Rengoku was in the poster, makes anime-only fans wonder if a similar fate might befall Shinobu in the upcoming Demon Slayer anime. And if it becomes true, then we all have the marketing team to blame for creating such an obvious, spoiler-filled poster.
What we can expect from Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle arc
One can expect the upcoming Infinity Castle arc to be filled with much more intense fight scenes that will probably have your favorite characters in all their glory. The stakes would be higher than ever. According to the manga readers, you can expect a bunch of thrilling fight scenes that might again break all the records, like what Mugen Train did.
However, most importantly, there are supposed to be quite a few emotional moments that will push you to your limits. In fact, you might even find yourself shedding a tear or two as the characters face their darkest moments. With the fate of your loved characters and the world of Demon Slayer hanging on a thread, the pressure will be on!
Despite the potential spoilers from the poster, one can guarantee the Infinity Castle arc will be an electrifying experience that will be entertaining for both anime-only fans and manga readers alike.
