CONOR Maynard has hit back with ‘proof’ his paternity test is correct – after we revealed Traitors star Charlotte Chilton still insists he’s her baby’s dad.
In a major real-life plot twist worthy of the hit BBC show, Conor last week claimed a DNA result proved he is NOT the father of Penelope, who was born in October.

However, The Sun yesterday revealed ‘suspicious’ Charlotte has major doubts about the test’s accuracy after the singer switched testing locations at the last minute.
Conor has since blasted back through his representatives, telling us it was conducted under strict legal and medical protocols, leaving no room for doubt.
They said: “It is very difficult to understand how the location of the paternity test would have changed the results.
“To be clear, this test was conducted by a registered nurse in the presence of Charlotte’s legal representative.
“The results have clearly drawn a line under the matter, and we can only hope that Charlotte can find a way to move forward.”
The pair met after a champagne-fuelled wrap party of Claudia Winkleman’s BBC murder mystery game last year.
Pansexual Charlotte, who is still married to her estranged wife Laura, claimed Conor turned on her weeks later when she said she was expecting his child.
The saga has gripped fans for months – and now the latest shock revelation is that the new mum is consulting lawyers about a second paternity test.
A source previously told The Sun: “Charlotte has always been adamant about who Penelope’s father is and her daughter is the spitting image of Conor.
“She is bitterly disappointed about the results and her legal team are looking into how they move forward to ensure Conor takes a second test.
“It’s been an exhausting fight between them.”
They continued: “Conor has been desperate to distance himself since finding out Charlotte was pregnant.
“He refused to take her calls or answer messages, and instead put everything into the hands of his lawyers.
“It’s all been on his terms. Conor even had his team change the testing location.
“He couldn’t wait to tell the world about the paternity test after getting the results.
“Charlotte was blindsided but braced for a battle – she has been for months.
“For her, it’s all about making sure Penny is protected, she’s all that matters.
“But of course her legal team are looking into how they move forward to ensure Conor takes a second test.”

The single mum, who was introduced to Conor months after splitting from her wife of seven years, has kept a low profile since the 32-year-old’s bombshell paternity results.
Yesterday she returned to social media with a cute new picture of Penelope but did not reference Conor’s post.
Charlotte, who moved to the Cotswolds to give birth, frequently updates fans on social media about juggling life as a new mum alongside her recruitment business.
However, she had not posted since Conor denied being the biological dad of five-month-old Penny last Friday.
Conor wrote on Instagram: “Earlier this week, I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton’s baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative.
“Today I’ve received the test results which confirm that I am not Penelope’s father.
“I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.
“All I would ask is that people act with kindness in response to this news – there is a child at the heart of all of this and that should not be forgotten.
“I wish Charlotte and her family all the best. Conor.”
Charlotte, who became known on The Traitors for her striking red lipstick, previously called MTV award winner Conor a “real-life traitor” – having caused a fallout with some of her cast members.
Charlotte – who was finally banished in episode nine of the series which aired in January 2024 – claimed she was shunned by Conor’s best pal and series two winner Harry Clark, who set the pair up at celebrity hotspot Raffles.
Harry, who scooped the £95,000 prize by betraying his co-star Mollie Pearce, quit the cast WhatsApp group on the day Charlotte shared her pregnancy news.
He is in a long-term relationship with Conor’s younger sister, Anna Maynard, presenter of CBBC show Got What It Takes.
Meanwhile Conor, who has previously dated Love Island star Layla Al-Momani, remains hopeful his one-night stand with Charlotte is firmly behind him.
A rep for Charlotte refused to comment on the latest development.
