CHRIS Taylor’s Dancing on Ice future has been revealed after his pro partner Vanessa Bauer was forced to quit the show over a nasty injury.
Vanessa took to her Instagram on Sunday to announce the sad news that she would be withdrawing from this year’s series after sustaining an injury before last Sunday’s live show.

The news came just hours before tonight’s live show is due to go ahead, and many Dancing on Ice fans will have been left wondering what that meant for Vanessa’s celeb partner, Love Island’s Chris Taylor.
Vanessa revealed in her video message that she had been training with Chris all week and skating through the pain she felt, not realising the seriousness of her injury.
It wasn’t until she went for an MRI that she learned she had “a completely torn ligament, grade three sprain injury and a major grade two sprain injury.”
She explained: “My pain threshold, I don’t trust it, I have been skating this whole week with a lot of pain but I just didn’t realise that it was such a significant injury so I didn’t voice my pain.
“I don’t want this injury that is already bad to get even worse and so the one sensible decision is to step away, do rehab, focus on my health – I guess mental health as well – because it’s really bad that I have to leave.”
But ITV confirmed to The Sun Online that Chris, 34, will remain in the competition with a new pro partner.
He has been paired up with Robin Johnstone and the duo will still skate in tonight’s live show.
Chris paid tribute to Vanessa on his Instagram Stories following her announcement.
Chris shared her video on his Instagram Stories and added: “While I’m here, let me tell you something about this woman.
“She is hands down the most committed, determined and inspirational woman I have ever met.
“She gives everything 2000% and it’s been an honour to be taught by her.
“Very, very sad we don’t get to finish this together, but you’ve got an annoying brother for life now.”
The latest series of Dancing on Ice has been plagued with injuries already.
Dame Sarah Storey was forced to withdraw weeks before the first live show after fracturing her ankle in training.
Then comedian Josh Jones sustained an injury in training after his first week skate and was also forced to exit the ITV competition.
