Geordie Shore fans convinced Marnie Simpson accidentally ‘gave away’ gender of her baby after spotting clues

GEORDIE Shore fans are convinced Marnie Simpson accidentally ‘gave away’ her baby’s gender after spotting some clues.

But her followers soon noticed the couple could be having a girl.

One commented: “wait did casey mime ‘we’re having a girl’,” while another said: “It’s deffo a girl! Could see him saying it . Congratulations.”

Someone else pointed out: “The song in this post is ‘ to our daughter ‘,” while a fourth agreed: “the song choice also a give away as a Lullaby to my Daughter.”

Sharing a video clip, Marnie wrote: “Here we go again.”

She and her reality TV star husband Casey are already parents to Rox, born October 2019 and Oax, who she welcomed in 2022.

The star had a very difficult first birth and while pregnant with her second child she insisted she would not have any more.

She said at the time: “I would not go to three,” she said. “I think you’ve got to find the balance for yourselves.

“We want to enjoy our lives as well. We’ve not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.”

Marnie previously described her first labour, which lasted 28 hours, as traumatic and insisted on having a c-section the second time round.

Marnie was diagnosed with a chronic UTI in 2016 and after giving birth to baby Rox in 2019, her symptoms began to get a lot worse.

Marnie got engaged to X Factor singer Casey back in 2020, and they wed in May 2023.

The pair met on the show Single AF in 2017.

They confirmed their relationship just a few months after the show ended – a move that is against show rules but it didn’t seem to worry the smitten love-birds.

Watch the moment horrified Britain’s Got Talent judges are left open mouthed in shock by NAKED act

THE BGT judges are left gobsmacked tomorrow night as a man appears completely naked on stage.

In a sneak peek from the episode, as they show returns to telly, a Japanese comedian is seen performing a very risky act.

Known as Akira, the man performs with just a tray to cover his modesty, puling off various tricks.

He first tells Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli that he will show them the Blackpool Tower and quickly flips his tray to reveal an image of the landmark.

He then ties a toy car to a ball, which is covering his privates, and moves along with it – being careful not to reveal too much.

Ant – who is watching from the side lines –  declares: “He was so close!”

Akira has been performing his naked tray act for the past ten years and previously hit back at criticism telling The Japan Times in 2019: “I’m aware there’s criticism and that’s fine. Some people see this naked guy on stage and feel it’s inappropriate, which I completely understand.

“Those who watch the whole act, however, realize there’s nothing dirty about it. It’s just a middle-aged guy with a tray, a bow tie and no other clothes.”

BGT show has run since 2007 and has produced winners including Susan Boyle, Paul Potts and Diversity.

The series champion receives £250,000 in prize money and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance.

A format change this year will see the live semi-finals air weekly rather than nightly across one week as they had done previously.

This series will also see the judges joined by special guest judge KSI.

Tune in to the brand-new series of Britain’s Got Talent, tomorrow night at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

BGT's Best Golden Buzzer Moments

BGT have handed out many Golden Buzzer's over the years, can you remember some of the most famous

  • Loren Allred – Loren Allred, 32, from Brooklyn, New York jetted to London to audition after recording the vocals for The Greatest Showman. The stunning singer got a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer from the judges as she delivered a stirring rendition of Never Enough from the popular film. Loren came out on stage and revealed to the judges they would have heard her voice many times before that moment. “I was hired to record the vocals for The Greatest Showman as a guide for the actors to know how to sing the songs,” she explained. Loren then revealed actress Rebecca Ferguson was so stunned by her singing that she decided to let her vocals be heard in the movie. “So she lip-synced,” Loren said.
  • Chicken Shed Theatre Company – Comprised of individuals aged between 5 and 37, the group was set up to welcome anyone irrespective of background to get up on stage and perform and fulfil their dream. Chicken Shed prides itself on accepting anyone and does not hold auditions to make the group a safe and inclusive space. The group wowed as they performed Wonder by Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sande. It meant that Alesha wasted no time as she decided to hit her golden buzzer for the young performers. She told them it was her “honour” to reward their inclusiveness with her golden buzzer.
  • The Dancing Granny – Granny Paddy Jones and her professional partner Niko Espinosa first hit headlines when they won the Spanish talent show Tú sí que vales in 2009, before going on to appear on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 where they came ninth. Amanda Holden was so impressed with Paddy that she gave her the Golden Buzzer, which sent them straight through to the semi-finals. But things took a worrying turn when Paddy cracked a rib while rehearsing a new move and her place on the show was under doubt. She was given the all-clear to perform in the end but didn’t quite live up to expectations.
  • Bars and Melody – They will forever be remembered for their anti-bullying song on the talent show. Bars and Melody were first seen on the 2014 series of Britain’s Got Talent, getting shuttled into the semi-finals when Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer. They made it to the final thanks to a performance of I’ll Be Missing You but lost out on the crown to Collabro. These days Charlie Lenehan – known as Melody – is covered in tattoos, with inkings on his neck, arms and chest. But he is as close as ever to co-star Leondre Devries – who is Bars – with the pair seen enjoying themselves in exotic locations all over the world.

In a statement on Friday afternoon, the League of Ireland confirmed that the former, scheduled for this evening, had been postponed.

It said: “Following a pitch inspection at Ferrycarrig Park amid heavy rainfall in the area, tonight’s SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division fixture between Wexford and Longford Town has been postponed.

“We will issue a new date for the fixture in due course.”

Wexford FC followed this up with a short social media statement of its own.

It read: “We regret to confirm that tonight’s game has been postponed due to the heavy rainfall last night and this morning.

“Ticket purchasers will be contacted via email”

And in a follow-up on Friday evening, it was confirmed that UCD vs Bray had also fallen by the wayside.

UCD were due to host Wanderers at the UCD Bowl, with the home side having lost their first game and the visitors having won theirs.

A pitch inspection took place on Friday afternoon at 2:15pm.

Following the inspection, the League of Ireland confirmed that a second inspection would take place at 5:15pm.

And confirming its postponement, the League of Ireland said: “Following a second pitch inspection, this evening’s SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division clash between UCD and Bray Wanderers has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

“We’ll issue a new date for the fixture in due course.”

As well as five games in the First Division, there will be four fixtures in the Premier Division.

Shamrock Rovers, as a result of their elimination from the Europa Conference League on Thursday night, will not be in action.

Instead, the pick of the matches will see Derry City welcome Bohemians to the Brandwell.

The Gypsies will be in buoyant mood going in, having beaten Shamrock Rovers at the Aviva Stadium last Sunday.

Elsewhere, Drogheda United will host Sligo Rovers, while champions Shelbourne travel to the RSC to face Waterford.

And finally, Stephen Kenny‘s St Patrick’s Athletic travel to face Galway United.

That game will be shown live on Virgin Media.

Kick-off at Eamonn Deacy Park is at 7:45pm.

England’s best goalkeeper stands at 6ft 6in but reveals grandfather wanted him to be a JOCKEY

JAMES TRAFFORD has emerged as one of the best young goalkeepers in England.

However, his grandfather wanted him to take a different path.

James Trafford has revealed his grandfather wanted him to become a jockey[/caption]

The 22-year-old, who is one of the most talked-about players in the EFL right now, was raised on a North Cumbrian family-run farm in the Lake District.

Having also worked on the farm growing up, his duties included lambing and mucking out.

His grandfather, Bill, wanted him to stay in the farming business if he did not go on to become a professional sportsman.

But he was happy to make an exception if Trafford wanted to become a jockey.

Trafford told SunSport: “Grandpa Bill, god bless his soul. I have two cousins then my sister and I.

“Grandpa always said, ‘he has to be a farmer’ but he really wanted one of us to be a jockey — but we were all too tall!”

The Burnley star neglected the racing route and instead pursued a career in football.

He signed for Manchester City at the age of 12 in 2015 and went on to spend eight years with the club before joining Burnley, where he established himself as a regular first team starter.

Trafford has since made 60 appearances for the Clarets and is currently enjoying an incredible run of form.

The ex-City star has only let in NINE goals all season, keeping 23 clean sheets.

Trafford has not conceded a goal in 1000 minutes and is aiming to record his 12th successive shutout when Burnley face Sheffield Wednesday on Friday evening.

Despite his growing reputation as one of Europe’s finest talents, with a host of Premier League clubs hoping to snap him up, the youngster still loves getting his hands dirty on the farm.

He said: “I enjoy it. I do it to spend more time with dad because I always go out for lunch with my mum when I go home and he’s always working.

“When I was with dad last month, I was bedding up all the sheep and putting hay out for the ones outside.

“We’ve always done that. I remember as a kid on the tractor where he’d sit on the seat and I’d be on the arm-rest, and our dog would be down there.”

Doireann will be on RTE One at 9.35pm tonight

Doireann will make her return to the Late Late studios to give the low-down on her glamorous winter wedding.

The Dublin beauty tied the knot to her husband Mark Mehigan in a lavish ceremony at the K Club in Kildare – and it’s safe to say it was the event on everyone’s lips for weeks.

The 32-year-old will also speak about her highly-anticipated return to RTE 2FM following her shock exit from the station last year.

Doireann will now present her very own drive-time slot on the radio from 3-6pm, after hosting the breakfast show at 6-9pm for five years.

And the Irish host revealed the exciting news with fans on Instagram last night.

The TV star looked super cosy in her pyjamas all tucked up in bed as she exclaimed: “Guys, as you can see I’ve done my tan because tomorrow night I’m on the Late Late.”

Doireann made a hilarious face and pointed to herself in excitement.

The newlywed told followers that it had been “six years” since she was last on The Late Late Show.

The RTE star admitted that it was “one of the scariest things” she had ever done.

However, she joked: “But I’m back and I’m better than ever.”

Doireann also expressed her excitement over the incredible guests joining her in the Late Late studio, including Harry Potter star Fiona Shaw and fellow RTE host, Kathryn Thomas.

She said: “There are absolute icons on the show also. Oh god, it’s all so scary.

WHERE TO WATCH

“If you are sitting in tomorrow night, please tune in.”

Doireann then humorously began to sing the Late Late Show theme tune and wave her hands in the air.

And fans looking to catch Doireann’s interview on The Late Late Show can find her on RTE One at 9.35pm tonight.

Ross Byrne hailed as ‘one of the best Leinster have produced’ as Ireland star completes move to English Premiership side

LEINSTER and Ireland international Ross Byrne will join Gloucester at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old will sign for the English Premiership side ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Seb Daly/Sportsfile

Director of Rugby, George Skivington, commented: “Leinster is quite rightly recognised as a breeding ground for lots of quality players, and Ross is one of the best players they’ve produced over the last decade.

“It’s rare to come across someone with so much domestic and international pedigree, and when they do become available, inevitably there’s a lot of interest in them, so it’s a real coup for us.

“Ross’s signing is a real statement of ambition, and we can’t wait for him to get started.”

He has played 177 times for Leo Cullen’s men having come through the academy, and has scored 1,156 points to-date.

He has won four URC titles and a European Champions Cup title.

At international level, the Dublin-native made his Ireland debut against Italy in 2018 and has won 22 caps for the national team.

He has been part of sides to win two Triple Crowns, one Six Nations Championship and one Six Nations Grand Slam.

However, he has not featured since a 2023 Rugby World Cup warm-up against England and has fallen behind Sam Prendergast, Jack Crowley, and Ciaran Frawley in the international pecking order.

And his Leinster future looked uncertain amid the emergences of Prendergast and Frawley.

His move to Gloucester is likely the end of his international career.

Current regulations mean that only those who play for Leinster, Ulster, Munster, and Connacht can play for Ireland.

However, Byrne has expressed his excitement at the move

Byrne added: “I’m delighted to have signed with Gloucester Rugby for next season.

“The Club’s exciting ambitions made it an opportunity I just couldn’t pass up.

“The team are producing a really great brand of rugby already, and that’s certainly something that drew me to Kingsholm.

“I’m hoping I can add to that and help the team grow further in the future.

“Having experienced the incredible atmosphere at Kingsholm before, I’m looking forward to getting out there in Cherry & White and challenging myself in one of the most competitive leagues in world rugby.”

‘What a bloke’ – Bizarre moment Luke Littler darts rival chugs entire pint of GRAVY after fan request

AUSTRALIAN darts star Damon Heta embraced the British culture after downing a pint of Bisto gravy in a bizarre video on social media.

Heta, 37, has started an unusual series online coined the “Daily fix of Damo” that sees him complete fan-requested tasks on camera.

The world number ten has been carrying out strange tasks all week, from doing ten accents in 60 seconds to giving his best ‘dad jokes’.

And now he appears to have completed the most unusual of the lot.

Heta filmed himself drinking an entire gravy boat full of chicken gravy in under nine seconds, before finishing the video by saying “It’s all gravy, baby”.

The strange request was sent in by a fan and sent darts fans as a whole wild on social media, with many wondering what on earth they had just watched.

One wrote: “What a bloke”.

While another added: “Extra marks for the gravy boat”.

A third commented: “This is how to get in the Premier League”.

And a fourth joked: “Grinding hard for that Premier League spot next year”.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

Heta missed out on a spot in the eight-man Premier League lineup this year despite a great campaign in 2024 that saw him become a fan favourite for a place in the competition.

However, he seems content missing out on the £1MILLION prize pot, joking that his time off lets him do things like downing gravy.

Premier League Darts prize money

A brief look at the breakdown for the 2025 Premier League Darts prize money...

Total: £1,000,000

Nightly winner: £10,000

Winner: £275,000

Runner-up: £125,000

Semi-finalists: £85,000

Fifth: £75,000

Sixth: £70,000

Seventh: £65,000

Eighth: £60,000

When a fan said it was a “shame” he wasn’t in the Premier League, Heta replied: “Then I wouldn’t be in the kitchen skulling gravy”.

And ‘The Heat’ has always been pretty laid back about not participating in the Premier League, even suggesting he isn’t fussed in a statement on social media after the selections in January.

He wrote: “Well as usual there’s a lot of strong feelings surrounding the PL pickings (I don’t trend very often).

“I wasn’t expecting to be picked in the Premier League and I know I wasn’t even in the talks with the board for it.

“But I appreciate every single one of you who put me in their line-up and had faith I was going to be there.

“I didn’t move to England to play Premier League, I have been pretty open about that over the years. If it happens one day it happens but I’ll continue to work hard and what will be will be.”
