WYNNE Evans’ BBC travelled series has been pulled off air tonight amid his Strictly tour axe.
The Go Compare star, 53, was dropped from the dancing show’s live tour after an ‘inappropriate’ comment of his towards Janette Manrara was picked up by cameras.

BBCAn EastEnders special hosted by Ross Kemp – who recently returned as Grant Mitchell – will air tonight[/caption]
Despite taking a break from his BBC RadioWales programme, Wynne’s travel show with Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page has remained on air.
However, in a schedule shakeup, it’s been axed from screens tonight – Monday – and replaced by an EastEnders special.
The soap is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week and Beeb bosses have added a number of extra shows to celebrate the milestone.
Wynne & Joanna: All At Sea usually airs Mondays at 8.30pm but this week, it has moved to Wednesday at the same time.
In its place is EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square, which sees Ross Kemp – who recently returned to the soap as Grant Mitchell – meet cast members past and present.
He also explores the groundbreaking issues that defined the British soap.
The show will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and contributions from Michelle Collins, Adam Woodyatt, Gillian Taylforth, Letitia Dean, Jessie Wallace, Anita Dobson and Pam St Clement.
The schedule change comes days after Wynne snubbed a co-star after his axing from the Strictly tour.
The 53-year-old opera singer has stepped back from the limelight after being dropped from the arena run for using the term “spit-roast” towards Janette Manrara and Jamie Borthwick during a media photocall.
Wynne has since stopped following EastEnders star Jamie, who he was previously friends with, on Instagram.
Actor Jamie – who plays Jay Brown in EastEnders – does still follow Wynne.
A representative for Wynne told The Sun: “When Wynne left the tour he unfollowed people who were posting about it purely to protect his mental health. Jamie was one of those people. There was nothing more to it than that.”
It comes after we revealed the tenor feels he has been “knifed” by the BBC over his Strictly sacking and will not go down without a fight.
The Go Compare star is set to take the corporation to a tribunal as he believes his reputation has been unfairly left “in tatters”.

RESIDENTS who live next to the UK’s biggest ‘ghost’ airport have said they can’t wait for it to finally reopen.
Doncaster Sheffield Airport once operated flights to destinations such as Spain and Cyprus.

Martin Forrestall hopes for more regeneration in the area with the airport reopeningMEN MediaMEN MediaMark Feneley hoped for the best but was wary about setbacks[/caption]
But the airport, which closed in 2022, could reopen in the near future as plans continue to progress.
Locals who live in the shadow of the airport in Auckley have voiced support for its regeneration and say it can bring many benefits to the town.
Ian Duncan, who lives in the area, said the closure of Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) had a big impact on people in the area.
He told YorkshireLive: “There’s a lot of people who used to use that. I mean, I live two minutes away, we always flew from Doncaster.
“Now, I have to go an hour, an hour-and-a-half, two hours sometimes, to Manchester or Heathrow. It’s affected a lot of people and it has touched businesses as well like the hotels.
He added: “You talk to anybody and all the people say it’s a lovely airport. There’s no hassle, it’s just in and out.”
Doncaster Council, along with the city’s mayor Ros Jones and the Mayor of South Yorkshire, Oliver Coppard, have been pushing hard for the airport to reopen.
Just a few months ago, the city’s mayor said that they had reached a “major milestone” in reopening.
Now, Chancellor Rachel Reeves has also thrown her weight behind plans for the re-opening of the airport.
The local council has signed an 125-year lease for the site, in co-operation with the current owners Peel.
Martin Forrestall said on the future reopening: “It’ll regenerate the area. There’s a lot more houses being built in the area.
“Just getting away, we’ve been travelling to the Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and really we’ve got an airport on our doorstep.”
And Ray Relf is another local who is looking forward to the reopening, with the hope it will bring much-needed improvements to the area.
However, some residents do have concerns, especially surrounding the airport’s longer term future.
Mark Feneley said the airport has never really caused problems for people in the area in regards to noise or traffic.
But he does have some concerns about whether the airport could remain competitive.
The airport first opened in 2005 and was even named one of the best in the UK.
In addition, a further £20 million has been put towards reopening the airport this month and a German company, Munich Airport International, have also signed on to provide services at the airport along with UK-based FP Airports.
As a result, Doncaster Sheffield Airport certainly looks to locals as though it will reopen soon.
Previously named Robin Hood Airport, it welcomed up to 2.8million passengers a year, being one of just two commercial airports in Yorkshire.
And Doncaster Sheffield isn’t the only UK airport hoping to reopen.
And Plymouth Airport – which closed 13 years ago – could also reopen to the public, serving a million passengers a year.

LUCA Bish’s mum has waded into the fight between Olivia Hawkins and Grace Jackson that’s left fans divided.
On Sunday night’s show, Olivia joined a group of All Stars in returning to the villa to pick a couple to dump before the finale.

Grace insisted that she didn’t send the messagesErotemeOlivia’s claims sent shockwaves through the villaEroteme
The group had to choose between three couples – Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, and Elma PazarandSammy Root – who had been left vulnerable by a public vote.
However, things got heated when Olivia, while casting her vote to boot Harriett and Ronnie, took aim at Grace saying she and Luca should be up for elimination.
When asked why, Olivia claimed she’d seen texts from Grace saying she would do ‘anything it takes’ to win – suggesting her relationship with Luca was fake.
However, she refused to say who the messages were sent to, and what they actually said.
With fans divided and sides being taken, Luca’s mum Maria stepped in to give her two thoughts on Instagram, declaring: “Liv you told me you wouldn’t stop at anything to get with Luca when he left the island. So this is interesting.”
Fans spotted the comment and went wild at Luca’s mum backing Grace up, sharing the comment to X/Twitter.
“Oh oh the mother knows best.” wrote one.
Another wrote: “Did Luca’s mother actually type this out? Oooph embarrassing”
As the drama boiled up in the villa, Grace asserted to Luca: “Baby, that is absolutely not true. I do not care about winning this show.”
However it was only made worse when Samie Elishi also claimed to have seen the messages.
But Grace wasn’t having any of it, adding: “On my life, I have never written that sentence in my life. It’s b******t, and someone’s forged that, that’s not true. I am gobsmacked.”

ARSENE WENGER has urged Manchester United and Tottenham fans to brace themselves amid a turbulent period for both clubs.
The two clubs have endured a torrid time in the Premier League this season.
SplashArsene Wenger has claimed Man Utd and Tottenham both need a complete rebuild[/caption]
GettyTottenham clinched a 1-0 win over United on Sunday[/caption]
ReutersIt left the Red Devils 15th in the Premier League table[/caption]
Both currently sit in the bottom half of the table, with Spurs in 12th as a result of their 1-0 win over United on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are struggling down in 15th – just two points above West Ham.
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was left shocked at the state of the two clubs after the match
He even suggested that both needed to be completely rebuilt in order to see any improvement.
Wenger told beIN Sports: “You will not find many happy fans on either side.
“When you say it’s a very important game, I would say that it’s not a very important game for the table because they are out of everything.
“It’s important for pride and to find peace with your fans because both teams cost over a billion pounds.
“Both teams have the same problem: to find good players to rebuild their team.
CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS
“The whole team has to be rebuilt at Tottenham and at Man United as well – that will not be easy for either side.”
Man Utd have accumulated the highest net spend in the Premier League over the last six years with £810million.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have the third-highest with £576m.
But despite the astronomical numbers, United have only won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup while Spurs remain trophy-less.
Man Utd ratings v Spurs
MANCHESTER UNITED slipped to a 12th defeat in the Premier League with Rasmus Hojlund coming under fire again.
Here’s how SunSport’s Katherine Walsh rated the Manchester United players against an underachieving Spurs side – who are now three places above them in 12th – in North London.
Andre Onana – 3
United can’t do anything with him between the sticks. Can’t be trusted to collect anything.
His opposite number Vicario showed him a thing or two after returning for the first time since Spurs thrashed Man City in November.
At fault for the first goal when he palmed out a relatively weak bouncing shot into Maddison’s path in the 13th minute.
Noussair Mazraoui – 5
An OK performance. Clever link-up play with Zirkzee but couldn’t get hold of Spence down the left-hand side.
Pulled out an excellent cross for the Dutchman’s headed chance late-on.
Matthijs de Ligt – 6
His clearance stopped an obvious 2-0 before the half-an-hour mark.
Harry Maguire – 5
A mixed bag. Long ball over the top for Hojlund’s chance in opening 10 minutes and went on a few attacking runs himself in the first half.
Did well to stop Dejan Kulusevski from having a go at the edge of the box. But bizarrely stopped in his tracks when a cross came flying into Son later on.
Diogo Dalot – 6
A difficult afternoon for the Portugal international as Son and Djed Spence left him for dead a few times.
Hesitated when asked to shoot from five yards to make it 1-0 but helped Onana out with some clearances too.
Patrick Dorgu – 4
A Prem debut to forget. He was almost invisible from the left-hand side. And lacked quality when asked to get involved more in the second half.
Was stupidly caught offside with Bruno Fernandes offloading a stunning cross pitch pass and booked late-on.
Casemiro – 5
Looked every bit a player that hasn’t played Premier League football for two months. Unsurprisingly booked for a late one on Son.
Bizarrely dropped to the turf asking for a free-kick when nobody touched him. Was forced to play 89 minutes with eight teenagers on the bench. A difficult afternoon, indeed.
Bruno Fernandes – 5
Interceptions and breaking up play is not a part of the captain’s game. An uncharacteristically poor cross left United open on the counter.
Did get back to stop Son from having a shot at Onana on the hour mark and started ticking in attack in the final 20 minutes.
Alejandro Garnacho – 4
Looked shaky and cut a frustrated figure after blazing over an absolute SITTER from 10 yards to level the scores.
A bit of a shocker and looked a completely different player to the one who got United into the fifth-round of the FA Cup last week.
Woke up a bit in the second half as Vicario kept him at bay with several superb stops. But the 20-year-old is clearly better off the bench.
Joshua Zirkzee – 6
The best of a desperately poor front three. There’s a street player in there and he’s great with his touches at times.
But curled wide from 23 yards, stuck a header wide in the 70th minute and kicked an air shot in the final five minutes.
Rasmus Hojlund – 3
Is Hojlund the worst No 9 in United’s recent history?
The young Dane, who was unlucky to have a chance saved by Vicario, was second best in every loose ball and kept losing possession.
He was even caught offside after a pass from an Onana goal-kick in the first half – how often do you see that happen?

MAX George today gave fans another update on his health battle, as the star shared a shocking picture from his heart surgery.
It comes just a day after The Wanted singer, 36, told The Sun he had to undergo a secret second op after his pacemaker wires were inserted too deeply.

maxgeorge/InstagramThe singer showed off his painful wound that was healing[/caption]
Max‘s health battle started when he was admitted to A&E last December and feared he was going to die in hospital.
Today, the singer showed off the wound from his latest heart op.
In the shocking picture, the star’s chest had been cut open during the surgery and stitched back together.
There was also a photo of him sleeping, as he recovered from the painful operation.
Opening up about his health battle, he wrote next to the pictures: “A few weeks ago I had to go back into hospital after having some physical symptoms in my chest.
“It turned out that one of the leads was placed too far into my heart.
“The second surgery took about 2 hours. Luckily, it was a success and they kindly let me listen to Oasis the whole time!
“It’s been a setback, but it’s just one of those things. I’ve had a few complications the last couple of months but I’m having loads of tests to make sure everything is all good.
“It can take a few weeks / months for the inflammation of my heart to subside (myocarditis) but I’m sure I’ll be back on top form in no time!
“Thanks everyone for all your lovely messages and support through what’s been a pretty rough time. Means a lot.”
PAINFUL OPERATION
The Wanted singer was left in agony for weeks after going under the knife in emergency treatment for his heart condition last year.
He was also warned by doctors that he might never sing again, as he underwent a lung biopsy days later to investigate his health scare.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun on Sunday yesterday, he revealed: “I thought I was on the road to recovery but when I was told I needed a second operation I was nervous, as pulling the pacemaker wires out of the heart wall risks bleeding on the heart.
“I didn’t have a choice, though. I had to have it done.”
Max had a pacemaker fitted in December and has been keeping fans updated with his recoveryInstagram
MAX’S RECOVERY
Meanwhile, Max is still hoping to perform with The Wanted 2.0 co-star Siva Kaneswaran later this year.
He also has planned to do the The War Of The Worlds: The Spirit Of Man theatre tour with girlfriend Maisie Smith.
But his health has thrown his work into doubt and he is liaising with doctors to see if he can recover.
Max told us: “I was trying to get back to good health but was still having a flickering sensation for weeks after I had my pacemaker fitted and it was gradually getting worse and worse.
“When my heart rate went up, it was causing a shock in my heart which was making me jump all the time. My chest was shaking.”
After being told he needed a second operation on his heart, Max admitted to being “terrified”.
He said: “The night before, I was really nervous, I didn’t sleep much.
“I was worried it could go wrong again and felt anxious that it could bleed out.”
Max was joined at the hospital by his actress girlfriend Maisie Smith, and mum Babs, and was conscious but heavily sedated throughout the two-hour procedure.
