IT was announced during the week that 49ers were in talks to takeover Rangers.
The Gers‘ current largest shareholder Dave King is hoping to sell his shares to the NFL side’s investment chief Paraag Marathe.

And the deal is reportedly on course to happen by June of this year, in time for the start of next season.
Other investors are set to follow suit and come on board with 49ers , including Andrew Cavenagh who was spotted at Ibrox at the start of the year.
And fans are revelling in the joy of the takeover news as they have been spotted with American themed merchandise.
And they’ve managed to get their hands on the gear as it is being sold OUTSIDE of Ibrox at kiosks.
Flags and scarves have been on display at some of the stalls on the grounds of the stadium.
It’s in addition to Donald Trump inspired hats that have been worn by some supporters recently.
They feature the slogan of the US president in a ‘Make Rangers great again’ plea as they have been urging him to BUY the club.
And supporters were wrapped in US flags as the Gers hosted St Mirren, looking to close the gap at the top of the table to 10 points with a win.
Celtic fell to a 2-1 defeat away to Hibs earlier in the day and failed to extend their healthy lead on their rivals.
And now Philippe Clement‘s side are hoping to manoeuvre past a Saints side without a win in their last three games.
