Locke’s role in this victory is emphasised by a staggering by him and team-mate Dylan Malpas conceding NO GOALS across the whole tournament.

Progressing to the England blind football team in the autumn of 2023, the young shot-stopper has his goals set for the 2026 Paralympic squad.

Also starring in Futsal tournaments for Swansea’s Au Vodka team, featuring Lee Trundle, Owens experience for the huge affairs is deep and Locke looks to be an asset for Baller League side N5 FC.

The dark scandals behind beauty queen glamour… from £250k drug arrest to winner who faked cancer & bizarre kidnap plot

WHILE beauty contest winners are treated like royalty, their crowns can easily slip, as one former Miss Scotland has discovered.

Former Miss Scotland Lucy Thomson, 26, was stripped of her pageant title last week after biting and racially abusing two bouncers at a rugby event.

The former queen has now been convicted of physical assaults on both bouncers and the racially aggravated assault of bouncer Andrew Okpaje.

The incident occurred after Lucy was chucked out of the Edinburgh City 7s event in June 2023 with her sister.

Andrew Okpaje called the police over the racial abuse and the organisers of the Miss Scotland pageant said Lucy had been “dethroned” after she was found guilty.

Pageants are known for winners who hold the crown for beauty, brains and passionate causes – but often tiaras are thrown off and it ends in disaster.

We take a look at the scandals that affect some of the world’s most glamorous women… from faking cancer to a crazy kidnapping plot.

Former Miss Pennsylvania U.S. International winner Brandi Weaver-Gates raised over $30,000 after faking cancer. S

Brandi, who defrauded 150 people after telling them she had leukaemia, was rumbled after her family started to get suspicious when she insisted on attending her chemotherapy treatment alone. They contacted the hospital, which confirmed there was no record of her having cancer.

She pleaded guilty to multiple charges of theft by deception and receiving stolen property, landing her two to four years in prison in 2015.

The pageant organisers said: “When you deceive the public and take people’s money that is under the pretence of fraud, we will not tolerate those actions.

“Ms. Weaver-Gates … will be required to return her crown and sash upon her release from being detained.”

Her scandalous affair was revealed by a bombshell report and Karolina later publicly apologised to the man’s partner and his family, as well as to all others involved.

Previously, the ex-beauty queen was suspended indefinitely from acting work contracts with famous Japanese actress Ryoko Hirosue’s acting agency over her alleged affair with a married celebrity chef.

The glamour model, crowned Miss Wales in 1976, had to be restrained as she was taken to the cells, yelling, “I’m a wildcat!”, with one copper saying sarcastically: “Look who we’ve got here, Miss Wales!”

Sian was fined when the case reached court but this setback didn’t stop her becoming one of the most popular Page Three girls ever.

Pageant organiser, Grant Dwyer hit back and argued that the competition was “judged fairly” and that Manshika’s crowning “holds substance”.

The German-British pageant queen quit just 18 hours into her reign.

A year later, the controversial couple went on to marry but when they split shortly afterwards, Benno committed suicide.

Roman Fury gives update on brother Tommy’s boxing return and reveals two fights on Love Island star’s radar

ROMAN FURY says brother Tommy is closing in on his boxing return – with two big fights on his radar.

Tommy beat YouTube’s biggest boxing stars in Jake Paul and KSI in 2023.

He took a split-decision over Paul in Saudi Arabia and then a controversial points win against KSI in Manchester.

But Tommy is yet to return since having undergone hand surgery.

And brother Roman, 28, told SunSport: “I’d like to see him have a few comeback fights because obviously he had a massive surgery.

“He’s been out of the ring for God knows how long now. It’s been well over a year.

“So a few comeback fights and then go for the Jake Paul, the KSI rematches and just see where he goes from there, but they’re the two main fights that he wants to have.

“But he just needs to get them cobwebs off, get the ring rust off, and have a few warmups, then jump into them, probably at the end of the year at some point.”

Paul, 28, suffered his first and so far only defeat to Fury, 25.

But he has won five since, most recently against Mike Tyson, 58, in November which was marred in controversy amid the age difference.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

KSI, 31, is also yet to return since losing to Fury having also suffered a hand injury and wad due to do so on Saturday against Dillon Danis, 31.

But he was forced to postpone the bout against the MMA star after falling ill.

Roman was due on the undercard against against Chase DeMoor, 28, who has starred on reality TV in America.

Tommy would have supported his older brother from Manchester as Roman talked up rematches with KSI and Paul.

He said: “I’d want him to have the Jake Paul one. I just think Jake Paul’s a better person to work with. He’s a lot more professional than KSI.

“And at the end of the day, you’ll get a better fight because KSI, he’d be jumping up and down and lunging, you know.

“KSI made that fight bad – not Tommy. So I’d like to see him do the Jake Paul one.

“I think it’s a bigger fight than the KSI one, but of course, come back and shut this KSI up for good.”
