Tina O’Brien’s husband’s company goes into administration after couple spark rumours they’ve split

TINA O’Brien’s husband’s wearable technology company has gone into administration.

Adam Crofts was a co-founder of Prevayl, a sportswear brand that has previously been endorsed by the likes of England footballer Declan Rice.

Tennis player Jodie Burrage and England rugby union star Freddie Steward also gave the company their backing and were even branded ‘Prevayl Pros’.

But last October, 39-year-old Adam reportedly stepped back from the business that he co-founded with David Newns.

According to BusinessCloud, Adam – who is now at the centre of a marriage split riddle with Tina – walked away while several other staff were made redundant.

Adam told the publication at the time: “We had some amazing projects and clients but the reality is the timeline from inception to getting a product out is so long. It’s hard for a startup.

“We thought we could get there faster by utilising AI while we were building up hundreds of patents. We’re proud of our achievements.”

He added: “I’m moving on after an amazing six years. I’ve given everything to it and we’ve learnt a hell of a lot.”

Financial documents from Companies House have revealed Prevayl Ltd has gone into administration.

Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday exclusively told yesterday how Tina currently looks to be at the centre of a marriage crisis with Adam.

The Coronation Street actress, who has played Sarah Platt on the ITV soap for 26 years, was seen without her diamond engagement ring on a night out.

Tina, 41, has also unfollowed Adam – her husband of almost seven years – on Instagram.

Last month, she went to Barbados without him. Tina took her 16-year-old daughter Scarlett, who she shares with former Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas, 40.

A source said: “The couple moved house at Christmas and it was a stressful time.

“They have been on separate holidays and it cemented for them that they want to be on their own.

“Everyone is hoping they can work it out but it’s not looking likely.”

After news of her marriage woes broke, Tina was pictured walking her dog.

However, she carefully kept her wedding finger hidden under a jacket as she headed for a coffee in Cheshire.

Tina and Adam started dating in 2011 when her daughter, who was a toddler at the time, wandered over to his table in a cafe.

Tina said: “She goes, ‘Hello man’. I thought, ‘He’s quite fit’, and we got talking.”
