Jacqueline and Dan split earlier this month[/caption]

Jacqueline put her personal heartache to one side despite her split from TOWIE alum Dan Osborne, 33, earlier this month.

The pair called time on their eight-year relationship after The Sun told how her attempts to save their partnership failed.

Pals told us that CBB star Dan confessed he no longer loved the mother to his daughters and wanted to move on with his life.

Recently, she was seen without her wedding ring after Dan moved into a home near Southend-on-Sea – which he bought without her knowledge before the split.

The BBC One star, who shares two daughters with the reality TV star, stayed strong and flashed a huge smile as she headed out in a sparkling pink dress.

Jacqueline oozed elegance in a baby pink bandeau frock, paired with silver hoop earrings.

She styled her brunette locks in a sleek straight style and kept her make-up fresh, with a slick of pink lip gloss.

After posing alongside a neon sign, she was seen donning a silver Team Bride diamante headband and waving a sparkler.

On another celebration for her bride-to-be pal, she kept her headband but switched to a little black dress and red point-toe shoes.

She finished off her look with a black handbag before taking a mirror selfie with her phone.

In her Instagram caption, she wrote: “Hen do weekend,” followed by a white Emoji love heart.

This weekend, Dan was seen flashing a huge smile as he attended a charity football match following their break up.

MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN

Jacqueline has been “putting on a brave face” for social media, according to her nearest and dearest.

She was recently seen in a light-hearted video with her daughters as they played a fun game.

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne relationship timeline

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have weathered several storms since they first got together over 10 years ago. Here's how their relationship has played out

2013: After meeting at an awards ceremony that year, Jacqueline and Dan start going on a string of dates

November 2013: Jacqueline is forced to defend Dan online after it was revealed he had also been on dates with Ferne McCann, Jac cleared up the matter by saying he was “single and can do what he wants”.

August 2014: Dan and Jacqueline announce that she is pregnant with their first child together

February 2015: The couple welcome their first baby, a daughter named Ella.

June 2015: Dan excitedly announced on Twitter that he and Jacqueline were engaged after a romantic proposal in Greece. He wrote: “She said YES!!! I am the luckiest man in the world to be marrying the woman of my dreams.”

June 2017: The couple exchange vows at a star-studded wedding ceremony at Cheshire Manor House.

January 2018: The couple announced they were expecting their second baby together.

May 2018: News reports that the couple have split with Dan heading off to a Marbella bootcamp when she was 30 weeks pregnant. Dan later confirmed he was living with a friend, and told Daily Star Sunday: “I’m still staying with a mate. I left because we were arguing and it is such a waste of energy.

“The way I look at life is every day spent unhappy is a wasted day, and we were both having a lot of unhappy days,” he added. “I still obviously care for Jacqueline but if we can’t make each other happy then we shouldn’t stay together. Life is too short.”

May 2018: Dan was seen getting close to Gabby Allen, sparking rumours they were now seeing each other during his break with Jacqueline.

June 2018: The couple’s second daughter, Mia, is born.

October 2018: Dan and Jacqueline confirm they are giving their relationship another shot, telling OK! Magazine they “went through a bad patch” but are “stronger than ever”.

March 2019: Dan is accused of cheating on Jacqueline with Love Island star Alexandra Cane. Both sides denied the claims.

November 2019: Jacqueline enters I’m A Celebrity but threatens to quit when Myles Stephenson confesses to her he thinks Dan cheated on her with his ex, Gabby Allen. She later is given a voicemail, and chooses to stay, winning the show.

December 2019: Celebrity Big Brother star Chloe Ayling accuses Dan of having a threesome with her and Natalie Nunn on a boozy night out. Chloe stated in an interview with The Sun that Dan was “making a fool of Jacqueline”.

August 2024: Dan and Jacqueline become victim of a terrifying kidnap plot while they’re on holiday with their daughters. The pair claim £20,000 worth of jewellery and even their girls’ tooth fairy money was stolen.

January 2025: Gabby Allen denies all relationship rumours with Dan and claims they have now completely cut contact, saying she “hopes he and Jacqueline are happy together.”

January 2025: The couple are one again forced to deny split claims, with friends saying they were “upset and hurt” at the allegations after they put their home on the market.

March 2025: The Sun exclusively reveals that Dan has moved out of the home he shares with Jacqueline.

A source recently said: “Dan has fallen out of love with Jacqueline and there’s no way back for him.

“Jacqueline is absolutely devastated and will do anything to make it work.

She’s putting on a brave face for social media but behind closed doors it’s a different story.

“Dan has told friends it’s over for him and while he won’t be rushing into a divorce, it’s not a question of if they will, but when.

“He wants to build and foster a positive relationship with Jacqueline for the sake of their children but says it’s over for good.”

Earlier this week, friends told The Sun that Jacqueline was hopeful of a reconciliation with Dan.

They said she would not be “rushing into divorce” and was hoping he may change his mind.

Friends close to Dan said he was resolute however, adding: “For Dan, it’s over.”

Jacqueline and Dan have two daughters, Ella, ten, and Mia, six, as well as Dan’s son Teddy, 11, from a previous relationship.

Their marriage has previously been rocked by allegations that Dan had been unfaithful to his wife Jacqueline.

Every wall in my council house was peeling but people say I’ve ‘turned a pig’s ear into a silk purse’ with Asda bargains

A DIY enthusiast has given her council house a mega makeover all whilst on a budget.

So if you want to give your home an upgrade but without breaking the bank, then you’ve come to the right place.

Nichola Barrett and her partner Billy, two DIY fans from the UK, used bargain buys from Asda, Dunelm and TikTok shop to turn their hallway from drab to fab.

It all started when the couple did a council house mutual exchange – but when they moved in, they noticed that the paint on every wall was peeling.

Council house exchanges often happen when people want to move to a different area or need a home that better suits their needs (like more space or better accessibility).

Council house swaps are usually arranged through a formal process, often facilitated by the local council or housing authority.

When faced with the appalling condition of their new home, Nichola and Billy got to work, on a mission to brighten up and modernise their space

Now, not only have viewers been left stunned by the home upgrade, but people have even said they have ‘turned a sow’s ear into a silk purse’ with their overhaul.

Impressed with her new hallway, Nichola took to social media to share a before and after look, leaving many open-mouthed.

Posting on DIY On A Budget, a private Facebook group with 2.2 million members, Nichola wrote: “Did a mutual exchange with the council.

“Before photos are when we viewed the property. After is what we’ve done.”

Nichola then confirmed: “We took all the woodwork back to wood with a heat gun and sander, the thickness of the gloss was crazy!

“My partner also boarded the glass above the upstairs doors himself and skimmed over it so they were flush to the wall. He knew how much I hated the look of them.

“We moved in December and have put so much hard work into doing upstairs and now the hall, stairs and landing.”

Rules on transforming your council house

According to Gov, the kind of improvements you can make to your council property depends on the type of tenancy you have.

Introductory tenants are usually limited to minor improvements like redecorating inside.

If you’re a secure tenant, you have the right to carry out improvements to your property. These include:

  • installing a new bathroom or kitchen
  • building an extension
  • putting up a garden shed or greenhouse
  • installing a new gas fire or fireplace
  • cavity wall insulation
  • redecorating the outside of a house
  • fitting an aerial or satellite dish

You might need your council’s written permission for work you do. Contact your council if you’re not sure.

Overjoyed with the results, Nichola continued: “Absolutely over the moon with how this has turned out.

“Just need a new hand rail up, radiator cover for landing and a little rug for the hall.”

Thanks to a lick of paint and some fresh new carpet and flooring, the couple were able to bring their once very tired home back to life.

Additionally, Nichola then confirmed that she nabbed a shoe bench and coat rack from Very, whilst she got her radiator cover from Dunelm.

Eight Easy DIY Tips & Tricks

The ultimate guide for homeowners and renters:

Meanwhile, the savvy saver got her wall print and photo frame from TikTok shop, whilst she picked up a grey vase with pampas from Asda.

Now, the couple’s home looks bright and fresh and luckily, it was all done on a very tight budget

DIY fans react

Nichola’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 1,700 likes and 204 comments in just a few days.

Not only have people praised Nichola’s home as ‘beautiful’, but many have claimed the DIY work has made her home ‘look like a different house’.

Wow that looks like a different house. Fantastic job

One person said: “Looking fabulous, well done.”

Another added: “You’ve turned a sow’s ear into a silk purse, it looks amazing.”

How to do your council house up on the cheap

  • Take inspiration from pricier shops and head to B&M, Home Bargains for interior decorations.
  • Head to YouTube for easy to follow tutorials on how to decorate rather than paying for professionals.
  • For a quick glow-up for your floors or anywhere with tiles, opt for stick-on vinyl to save on costs.
  • A lick of paint does wonders to make a room feel brand-new.
  • Switch out kitchen cupboard knobs for modern ones instead of buying brand-new cupboards.

A third commented: “Gorgeous transformation!”

Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “Wow that looks like a different house. Fantastic job.”

Not only this, but one DIY whizz wrote: “What a transformation! You should be so proud of all that hard work, it looks beautiful.”
