Ben Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff finally sell family home for £1.75m after split over money struggles

BEN Cohen and Kristina Rihanoff have sold their family home for £1.75million following their split amid money troubles.

The couple, who have been together for the past 12 years, were living in a plush five-bedroom pad in Sywell, Northamptonshire, with their eight-year-old daughter Mila, with the house’s huge garden coming complete with a zipline.

The pair decided to call time on their relationship last year[/caption]

The property, which was bought by the couple for £950,000 in 2016, was put up for sale last September after the pair admitted they were having trouble financially.

Just six months later, they’ve decided to call time on their relationship as they continue to sell some of their shared assets.

According to DailyMail, the pair have now successfully found a buyer for their home.

It’s believed the pair are over £1million in debt in their businesses, with Kristina previously explaining the pair had “invested everything we’ve ever had” into their company Soo Yoga Group.

The couple, who met on the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing when Ben was still married to his wife Abby, had turned their wellness and fitness passions into companies.

However, their businesses have not filed their finances for the past four years.

The extent of their financial woes became public knowledge last September, when Kristina was hauled into court for driving without insurance.

During the appearance, Ben took to the stand and blamed her lack of insurance as human error on his part – and admitted they were both crippled with debts from their multiple businesses.

Paperwork later revealed Soo Yoga Group ran up debts of £488,470 and another of their fitness firms – Yoga Wellbeing Limited – had debts of £63,000.

Soo Greens Limited also racked up £54,000 of debts and fitness company Beyond Wellbeing was dissolved in 2022 with debts of £22,000.

Ben also quit as a company director of struggling web firm Silicon Networks in 2020 and the company is now in liquidation with debts of £275,000, including a £98,000 tax bill owed to HMRC.

Speaking in court last year, Ben became emotional as he spoke about the realities of their financial crisis, saying: “I get up every day and I fight not to lose everything – to lose my cars and my house and my relationship. I’m so overdrawn.”

Kristina was spared a driving ban in court due to “exceptional hardship”, and shortly after the pair put their Northamptonshire home up for sale.

“There is only so much one couple can take,” a friend explained.

“The financial problems Kristina and Ben were facing pushed them to the brink and it has been incredibly stressful for them.

“This was what properly broke them and ended the relationship.
“But their union hasn’t always been a bed of roses because of how they got together.

“With the amount of public jibes sent in their direction, their friends have commented that they think it’s amazing their relationship lasted for as long as it did.”

When does Celebrity Big Brother start?

CELEBRITY Big Brother is back for 2025, with several of the big names who have signed up already being revealed.

On March 24, 2025, The Sun exclusively revealed the reality show’s launch date — here’s everything you need to know.

When does Celebrity Big Brother 2024 start?

Celebrity Big Brother 2025 is set to start on April 7, 2025.

The live launch begins at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Each episode of the reality series will be followed each night by Celebrity Big Brother: Late & Live — providing viewers with additional and exclusive content.

And the Celebrity Big Brother: Live Stream will also return to screens, airing seven nights a week on ITVX and STV Player.

Big Brother and CBB were both cancelled in September 2018 when it was still on Channel 5.

Plans to revive the format on ITV were later confirmed in 2022.

Who will host Celebrity Big Brother?

AJ Odudu and Will Best are the hosts of Celebrity Big Brother.

The pair made their debut as Big Brother presenters in October 2023.

The two hosts gave a major update on the new series following the launch date coming to light.

AJ and Will captured themselves at the broadcaster’s headquarters, entering through a lift, before heading into another room.

They were then seen perched in front of two sets of microphones, where they were recording voiceovers for CBB 2025.

AJ took to her Instagram Stories to capture the videos and put: “What a start to the day, it’s me and Will.

“We are doing voiceover together,” before he interjected: “Woohoo.”

She continued: “I’ve just seen your face on a lift and it really excites me.

“And now I’m like ‘he’s here he’s here’.”

New Big Brother house

Bosses have relocated the famous house to a new area for the 2025 series — but it’s not far from the old one.

In December 2024, it was revealed that the house would move to brand new location from its Garden Studios home where it has been since the show returned to ITV.

But a fan-favourite feature has been ditched for the new series of CBB.

The Mezzanine floor — which was introduced by ITV when it rebooted Big Bro in 2023 — has been scrapped.

Over the last two years it’s often been a safe space for housemates to complain and talk about each other, after the smoking area was pulled from screens.

The move marks the fourth house for the reality show since its UK debut in 2000.

The first Big Brother house was purpose built in London where it played host to three series.

As of March 25, 2025, the official Celebrity Big Brother line-up is yet to be revealed.

But there are a number of rumours swirling and a several of the show’s cast have already been revealed.

Among the rumoured names so far is boxer and former Love Island star Tommy Fury and Eastenders actor James Bye.

On March 5, 2025, The sun was the first to announce that Daley Thompson was in ‘advanced talks’ to join CBB 2025.

The Sun also exclusively revealed the following celebs will be appearing on the show:

A source said: “Producers think Chris will be a great addition to the house.

“He is really entertaining and was one of the most popular and iconic reality contestants with a massive social media following.

“Execs are hoping he will bring his huge young fanbase with him to the show, along with some juicy tales.

“He’s got loads of showbiz mates and has some famous ex girlfriends — he’ll be brilliant.”

Roy Keane wins prestigious award immediately after ITV pundit appearance for England’s win over Latvia

ROY KEANE has been named Pundit of the Year at the Sports Journalists’ Association Awards.

Keane joined colleagues Mark Pougatch and Ian Wright to discuss the Three Lions 3-0 win at the Home of Football on Monday.

The 53-year-old – who also appears on Sky Sports – is known for his fiery on-air punditry and refusal to back down from a debate.

SJA’s Pundit of the Year award was chosen this year by a members’ vote.

Wright, Ally McCoist, Emma Hayes, Michael Holding, Gary Neville and Osi Umenyiora have previously taken the crown.

Keane won the vote to see off competition from nine other pundits including talkSPORT’s McCoist and Sky’s Jamie Carragher.

One fan wrote on X in response: “Congratulations. One of the few pundits left who tells honest opinions based on fact, and doesn’t sugarcoat things.”

Another said: “One of the very few proper ones left now.”

While a third joked: “That’s his job you don’t congratulate the postman for putting letters through the postbox.”

And a fourth added: “One of the few worth listening to. Well deserved, and I’m a Leeds fan.”

Kelly Cates, who presents Premier League football for Sky and will soon host Match of the Day, claimed the prize for Presenter of the Year.

While the BBC’s Chris Jones won the award for Best Commentator.

Keane was in typically combative form as he analysed Thomas Tuchel’s first two games as England boss on Monday night.

The Three Lions were in cruise control at Wembley as they saw off Albania on Friday and Latvia four days later.

But Keane wasn’t impressed with what he saw – and believes England should have been more ruthless.

The 53-year-old said: “If this was a school report, you’d give him a would be a C+.

England ratings vs Albania as Lewis-Skelly enjoys dream debut but Tuchel fails to solve Foden issue

By Tom Barclay

MYLES LEWIS-SKELLY made history and Harry Kane extended his own record-breaking as England sunk Albania in Thomas Tuchel’s first game.

Lewis-Skelly became the youngest player to score on his Three Lions debut and top goal-getter Kane notched his 70th international strike as Tuchel began his World Cup qualifying campaign with a modest 2-0 win.

New boy Dan Burn partnered Ezri Konsa in central defence at Wembley, while Marcus Rashford and Curtis Jones were also handed starts.

Meanwhile, Tuchel wrestled with the same issue faced by predecessor Sir Gareth Southgate – deciding where to fit in Phil Foden.

Left-back Lewis-Skelly, 18, slotted home on 20 minutes following a delightful turn and even better pass from Jude Bellingham.

But England stuttered after the break – until skipper Kane classily took down a Declan Rice pass and curved home the clincher.

Here’s how SunSport’s Tom Barclay rated the Three Lions in German manager Tuchel’s opening match…

“I think there’s a lot more to come from him. I think the two games on paper were very easy.

“It’s a great start for the manager, but you knew he was going to get the two victories, just look at the 27 shots tonight.

“There’s loads of bits to improve. The end product wasn’t that great but at least the subs came on and had an effect on the game.

“But I thought it was OK. It was OK.”

Signature Car Sales in Douglas, Isle of Man, will pull the shutters down for good on March 31.

“After 6 incredible years of serving our community and providing top-quality cars, Signature Car Sales will be closing its doors. Our final day of operation will be March 31, 2025,” they wrote on social media.

“We want to sincerely thank all of our customers for their support, trust, and loyalty over the years.

“It’s been a pleasure to be a part of your car-buying experiences, and we are grateful to have been able to help you find the perfect vehicle.

“Thank you again for being part of the Signature Car Sales family.”

Customers and locals flocked to the comment section to send their well wishes.

One wrote: “Me and mum have been with you for years and years. We hope your new life will be full of luck and good health!”

“Ah what a shame. Very best of luck,” a second added.

“So sorry to read this Austen..thanks so much for everything, especially last year. All the very best for the future,” a third wrote.

“Good luck in the next chapter mate,” another echoed.

This comes after customers were left gutted after a popular car showroom suddenly closed without warning.

Hendy Land Rover in Salisbury, Wiltshire, will no longer sell new cars as part of a shift in its offerings.

The busy garage had sold both Range Rovers and Land Rovers on site until the recent decision to close its sales section.

However, the rest of the business will remain open, offering aftersales support, among other services.

These also include the introduction of a personalised vehicle collection and delivery service next month.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) said this new service will make MOT tests, repair works, and servicing “as convenient as possible” for customers, reports the Salisbury Journal.

A spokesperson for the manufacturer said: “While Hendy Land Rover Salisbury no longer operates a new car sales function, it remains fully committed to providing aftersales support for existing clients, and will introduce a personalised vehicle collection and delivery service from next month making servicing, MOT tests and repair works as convenient as possible for clients.

“Hendy Land Rover Salisbury remains dedicated to providing the highest standards of aftersales care.”

Work to remove the cars kept at the site is now underway, while pictures have also revealed the dealership has had its signs removed.

The business’ typical showroom facilities, including a barista bar and Wi-Fi, will continue to be available at nearby branches.

Map reveals the 69 Morrisons stores and cafes set to close their doors as part of huge shake-up

A MAP has revealed where 69 Morrisons stores and cafes are set to close as part of as part of a country-wide reshuffle.

The beloved budget supermarket will be scrapping 52 cafes and 17 stores in a cost-cutting shake-up.

Some 52 cafes and 17 stores will be scrapped across the UK[/caption]

Morrisons said they are “not taking the decision lightly” as  365 staff members are plunged into potential redundancy.

As well as stores and cafes, certain services are set to close with 18 Market Kitchens, 13 florists, 35 meat counters, 35 fish counters and four pharmacies also getting the axe.

Rami Baitiéh, chief executive of Morrisons, said the plans announced yesterday would “reinvigorate” the chain and create opportunities for it to invest in other areas of the business.

He said: “In most locations, the Morrisons Café has a bright future, but a minority have specific local challenges and in those locations, regrettably, closure and re-allocation of the space is the only sensible option.

“Market Street is a beacon of differentiation for Morrisons and we remain committed to it.

“But as we modernise we are making some necessary changes to the areas of the model which are simply uneconomic.

“In some stores where we are closing counters or Cafés, we plan to work with third parties to provide a relevant specialist offer.”

The top boss said he’s aware of the disruption that will be caused by the closures and claimed the brand will “look after” them during the restructuring.

He continued: “Although these changes are relatively small in the context of the overall scale of the Morrisons business, we do not take lightly the disruption and uncertainty they will cause to some of our colleagues.

“We will of course take particular care to look after all of them well through the coming changes.”

The big shake-up from Morrisons comes just months after Mr Baitiéh slammed the upcoming hikes to employer National Insurance Contributions (NICs) and national minimum wage.

Baitiéh took over as chief executive of the supermarket in November 2023 with the hope to salvage Morrison’s declining sales and dropping market shares.

He told The Sun he had urged Labour to consider the combined wall of costs retailers face.

From next month, businesses will pay a higher rate of NICs of 15 per cent, from 13.8 per cent.

It is believed the cost solely from National Insurance changes will hit Morrisons by around £75million.

Mr Baitieh said: “The National Insurance change adds insult to injury. The problem is that it’s an avalanche of costs that is coming all at once.

“So I have asked them, can we not defer some of it or go step by step, like a doctor would do — raising the dose with seven pills over seven days.”

Plenty of other retailers are closing stores across the high street as households lean more towards online shopping and amid high business rates.

Soaring inflation in recent years has also dented shoppers’ pockets.

The Centre for Retail Research’s latest analysis suggests 13,479 stores, the equivalent of 37 each day, shut for good in 2024.

Of those, 11,341 were independent shops while 2,138 were shut by larger retailers.

The data also showed over half the stores that closed last year were shut due to the store or retailer going through debt.

Why are retailers closing stores?

RETAILERS have been feeling the squeeze since the pandemic, while shoppers are cutting back on spending due to the soaring cost of living crisis.

High energy costs and a move to shopping online after the pandemic are also taking a toll, and many high street shops have struggled to keep going.

However, additional costs have added further pain to an already struggling sector.

The British Retail Consortium has predicted that the Treasury’s hike to employer NICs from April will cost the retail sector £2.3billion.

At the same time, the minimum wage will rise to £12.21 an hour from April, and the minimum wage for people aged 18-20 will rise to £10 an hour, an increase of £1.40.

The Centre for Retail Research (CRR) has also warned that around 17,350 retail sites are expected to shut down this year.

It comes on the back of a tough 2024 when 13,000 shops closed their doors for good, already a 28% increase on the previous year.

Professor Joshua Bamfield, director of the CRR said: “The results for 2024 show that although the outcomes for store closures overall were not as poor as in either 2020 or 2022, they are still disconcerting, with worse set to come in 2025.”

It comes after almost 170,000 retail workers lost their jobs in 2024.

End-of-year figures compiled by the Centre for Retail Research showed the number of job losses spiked amid the collapse of major chains such as Homebase and Ted Baker.

It said its latest analysis showed that a total of 169,395 retail jobs were lost in the 2024 calendar year to date.

This was up 49,990 – an increase of 41.9% – compared with 2023.

It is the highest annual reading since more than 200,000 jobs were lost in 2020 in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced retailers to shut their stores during lockdowns.

The centre said 38 major retailers went into administration in 2024, including household names such as Lloyds Pharmacy, Homebase, The Body ShopCarpetright and Ted Baker.

Around a third of all retail job losses in 2024, 33% or 55,914 in total, resulted from administrations.

Experts have said small high street shops could face a particularly challenging 2025 because of Budget tax and wage changes.

Professor Bamfield has warned of a bleak outlook for 2025, predicting that as many as 202,000 jobs could be lost in the sector.

“By increasing both the costs of running stores and the costs on each consumer’s household it is highly likely that we will see retail job losses eclipse the height of the pandemic in 2020.”

Born in Compton, California, the 45-year-old has been touring Europe, with his most recent show taking place in Paris.

But ahead of his show in Ireland, The Game has canceled the concert last minute, postponing until a later date, and in turn leaving his fans upset.

Speaking in the video, The Game said: “This video is for my fans in Dublin, I was supposed to be with there with ya’ll today, killing the show tonight, but all these different climate changes and the toll that the tour’s been taking on my body, it’s been draining.

“I’ve been fighting the flu. I lost my voice a few days ago when I was in Manchester. I fought through the Manchester show with no voice. Did the same thing in London – killed both of those shows.”

He added: “Last night, if anybody was in Paris and they seen the show, we put on a hell of a show, we went out there again with no voice, but we got it done.”

In the caption, he penned: “PSA for my fans in Dublin, Ireland…. As well as Oslo, Norway.

“The new date for Oslo is March 30th 2025.. 6 days from today.

“The new date for Dublin is April 9th 2025… 2 weeks & change.”

He added: “I have given 100% of myself to my fans & this tour and any single person that has been to these shows will attest to the energy in these buildings night after night.

“In life we must prioritize our health even when our heart of hearts tell us to push through.”

The Game then said: “I did my last 3 shows in London, Manchester & Paris with absolutely no voice & still killed every single one !!!!!

“My next show is in Stockholm Sweden this Thursday & by then I should be at 100% mind, body, voice & soul.

“I promise to not leave Europe until every single show on this tour is done !!!!”

He signed off by thanking his fans for being understanding, and added how he appreciates the love and support he has been shown over his 20 year career.

“If you don’t understand then you can’t be a true fan so tell me all about in the comments,” he added.

“For my day 1’s….. I love you & I’ll see you soon. – The Game,” he said at the end of his message.

Fans were instantly fuming, with many quick to point out how he had canceled shows in Ireland in the past.

“4th time u have bailed on Ireland,” said one.

“What about the last 4 shows you cancelled in Dublin? Out clubbing in Paris and the cancel the show on less than 24hrs notice. In Dublin we can deal with a hangover you could probably learn something,” said another.

Meanwhile, other fans slammed The Game’s Paris show.

“You ain’t kill nothing in Paris Game! Worst ever rap concert of my life,” slammed one.

“I was in Paris last night. The concert was lowkey bad,” echoed a second.

While a third fumed: “Your Paris date was totally messed. We all expected a great show, it was horrible.”

But many other fans of the rapper were quick to share sweet messages wishing him a speedy recovery.

“Get well soon Chuck,” said one.

Wishing @losangelesconfidential a speedy recovery let’s go Game fam,” added a second.

“Sending some rapid healing your way Chuck,” penned a third.

While a fourth said: “Sending strength and healing big brother.”

There were some extraordinary goals and big moments on show at the Copper Box arena in east London.

But one aspect of the Baller League caught fans by surprise – the ‘Game Changer’ format.

No matter the score, in the final three minutes of every game the teams get wittled down to 3vs3.

Goalkeepers are forbidden to use their hands and goals from long range count as two.

While one player from the group of three takes to the pitch at any one time, meaning it is 1vs1.

Players are subbed in and out once the ball goes out of play, meaning there is constant change and plenty of room for excitement.

After watching the unusual format for the first time on Monday fans joked that Baller League could be the future.

One fan said sarcastically: “No doubting that this Baller League really is the future of football.”
