The worst outfits you can wear on a date according to men & the ‘sexiest’ dress that will guarantee seeing them again
WOMEN have been asking men what outfits they really find hottest on first dates – and men have not held back.
A Reddit thread was started asking guys to state their opinion on women’s clothes and also on whether hair should be worn up or down.

After taking advice in the comments, the single woman returned to the post and called the guidance “extremely effective” and said her date had gone well.
Men were quick to share their opinions on the best date attire, with many saying a “pretty dress” is their favourite outfit, depending on the activity.
One wrote: “Depends on the season of course. In summer I’m always gonna love sundresses.”
A second added: “Wear whatever you feel good in but don’t overdo it. Dress for the occasion.”
A third shared: “If we’re going to a fine dining restaurant, I will be dressed appropriately and I would expect she comes dressed as well. If we are going hiking, maybe a gown and 6 inch heels isn’t very smart.”
One person said their favourite thing is a “red short skirt” and one stated they like an outfit that is “revealing but not trashy.”
Lots advised to keep “war paint to a minimum” and to wear clothes that are “clean and well-fitting.”
Many people advised to “match the vibe” of the guy, and if he is laidback it is better to wear an outfit that is less formal.
When it came to hair styles, one person said: “As a man I like women with longer hair down.”
A second agreed: “Hair down is always nicer than up.”
Another added: “I’m always a sucker for curly hair down and straight hair up.”
Dating professionals have also weighed in on the debate.
Relationship coach Ice White, 35, told FEMAIL: “I may be a little extreme here, but the best possible outfit a woman can wear for a date involves eight-inch high heels.”
He stated that one of his turn-offs are heels that are “pathetically short” or ones that “show toes.”

Ice continued: “A short pleated skirt is also awesome, but other skirts that work well are soft pencil skirts no matter how long.”
Ice said he prefers hair down on a date and has a “strong distaste for buns” and he even dubbed them a “red flag.”
Another thing he hates are women in their 20s to 40s wearing “too modest” dresses that are more appropriate for women in their 50s to 70s.

IRELAND fans reacted with delight after Saoirse Noonan was included in Carla Ward’s squad for the Nations League double header against Greece.
The Celtic striker has been in sublime form for her club this season and has scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Ghirls.

She was a surprise exclusion for the win over Turkey and humiliation against Slovenia back in February.
But the Cork-native has been rewarded for her form by being named in Ward’s squad for the games next month.
Celtic FC posted: “Back in the squad
“Congratulations to Saoirse Noonan, who has been named in the #IRLWNT squad ahead of the international break ”
One fan said: “About time Noonan is called in, delighted for her ” while a second commented: “At. Last! Get in @saoirse_noonan!
”
A third posted: “Finally Saoirse Noonan gets her well deserved and overdue call up! ” and a fourth declared: “saoirse noonan
its about time!!”
And a fifth commented: “Saoirse Noonan fawking FINALLYYYY”
The 25-year-old is one of three Ireland players to return to the panel, the others being Chloe Mustaki and Aoibheann Clancy.
Mustaki and Noonan are included for the first time since the 2023/24 Nations League campaign, with the Celtic striker having scored 22 goals in all competitions this season.
Shelbourne midfielder Clancy is rewarded for an impressive start to the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division season.
The Limerick native earned her only WNT appearance in November 2022.
On the flip side, the likes of Louise Quinn, Tara O’Hanlon, Megan Connolly, Jamie Finn, Lily Agg, and Jess Ziu are all absent.
Centurion Quinn is still out following the arrival of her first child.
The Wicklow woman and her partner Eilish O’Gara became mothers after the birth of their son Daragh Keane Quinn.
The loved-up couple shared their life-changing news in a very cute Instagram post.
Many of her international teammates were immediately infatuated with her and Eilish’s new arrival.
Captain Katie McCabe dubbed Louise ‘Mama Lou Lou’ while Grace Moloney and Ruesha Littlejohn supplied similar sweet feedback through love heart emojis.
Chloe Mustaki added: “Congratulations to both of you!”
Former Ireland peers Stephanie Zambra and Clare Shine were also on hand to express their delight.
