The EastEnders legend in question is Charlie Clements who used to play Bradley Branning before being killed off.

The actor played the lovable character in the soap from January 2006 to February 2010, before he was tragically killed off.

He won the ‘Best Exit’ prizes at the British Soap and Inside Soap awards following his dramatic roof fall in his final EastEnders scene.

He’s since swapped acting for an entirely different profession.

Charlie now works as a greenkeeper on a golf course, after walking away from Walford for good.

He often posts videos on Instagram of his work, after acting dried up.

Opening up about his new line of work, Charlie previously told The Sun: “It was just a way of me supporting the family.

“At the end of the day the kids and the family come first. I’ve never been afraid of work and never been work shy.”

LIFE AFTER EASTENDERS

Charlie has also worked as a chef, and often he posts cooking videos.

Despite saying her has found it hard to find work, last year he teased a return to acting when he posted a picture of a script of Great Gatsby.

He told fans it was “showtime,” and also used the hash tag “actorslife.”

SWEET TRIBUTE

Last month, Charlie celebrated the EastEnders 40th anniversary.

The actor was actually killed off on the show’s 25th anniversary, and took to social media to reminisce on his soap death, fifteen years ago.

He wrote: “Reminded today that ‘ I died ‘ 15 years ago today which makes that little thing even older.!!!

“As EE turns 40 I remind myself how fortunate I was to work on such an institution at such a young age and will be forever thankful to those to who made it possible.

“The BBC, Kate Harewood, John Yorke, Julia Crampsie and Diederick Santer. Thank you to Tony Jordan, @malarkeyphelps @dominictc , Alex lamb and the entire team of writers for some unbelievable scripts and for trusting me with their words.

“To the many many directors and crew who work tirelessly to put the show together, the first in and the last out.

“My unbelievable family @dollyjj @madelinedugganxx , Lorna Fitzgerald @mrjakewood and of course @laceyturner.

“And to those who are sadly no longer with us who made me feel instantly welcome, June Brown, John Bardon, Wendy Richard and Dame Barbara Windsor, thank you.

“And finally the biggest thanks goes to the entire team @thebwhagency who I will be forever indebted to, not once but twice.

“Happy birthday EE, I am immensely proud to have been a small part of you.

NO EASTENDERS RETURN

Despite posting his sweet tribute, Charlie previously told The Sun he would never make a return to Eastenders.

“I can’t say I’ve watched EastEnders since I left. I don’t miss it because if I hadn’t left I wouldn’t be doing other shows which I prefer doing,” he told us.

“They resurrect characters sometimes but even if they wanted Bradley back as a ghost I wouldn’t take up that offer.”

He added: “I didn’t let them kill me off but before I started on the show I always said that I wanted to do four years and that was it. It was my decision to leave.”

Laurence Fox charged with sex offences after ‘sharing upskirting photo of TV star Narinder Kaur in online spat’

LAURENCE Fox has been charged with a sexual offence after allegedly sharing an upskirting photo of TV star Narinder Kaur.

The disgraced actor and failed politician, 46, is accused of re-posting the image on his X account in April 2024.

LONDON, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 24: Laurence Fox arrives at the Royal Courts of Justice, Chancery Lane on November 24, 2023 in London, England. Fox is being sued by former Stonewall trustee Simon Blake and drag artist Crystal, also known as Colin Seymour, after an online row in October 2020 in which Fox called the claimants 'paedophiles'. It allegedly came after Fox and former Big Brother star Narinder had engaged in an online spat over politics.

Fox has now been charged under Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and will appear in court next month.

The charge makes it an offence to intentionally share a sexual image of someone without consent, with the aim of causing alarm, distress, humiliation, or for sexual gratification.

If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and could be placed on the Sex Offenders Register.

The picture was originally taken in 2009 as Good Morning Britain panellist Narinder was climbing out of a taxi.

It was captured without her knowledge or consent.

Narinder, 52, reported the post to police when it was shared – triggering an 11-month investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

Speaking previously about the impact of the incident, the married mother-of two-said she felt “violated, humiliated and degraded.”

Fox, who shares two children with actress and singer Billie Piper, has not yet commented publicly on the charge.

He has repeatedly sparked backlash for his incendiary views on race, gender, and COVID-19, and was sacked from GB News in 2023 after making sexist remarks about a female journalist live on air.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “A man has been charged with a sexual offence following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police.

“Laurence Fox, 46, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 24 April charged with an offence contrary to section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

“The charge relates to an image that was posted on a social media platform in April 2024.”

Laurence Fox was contacted for comment.

FAILED CAREER

It 2019, Fox began to move from his acting work — where he is best known for detective series Lewis — to sharing controversial views online.

He has blamed YouTube videos for “totally radicalising” him against “woke culture” and “political correctness”.

Then, against the Covid vaccine, Fox used his platform to question the science — often appearing at anti-lockdown marches and wearing a badge stating: “No vaccine needed. I have an immune system”.

In 2020,  he also called a fellow panellist on BBC’s Question Time “racist” for branding him a “white privileged male” in a debate over Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.

When two professional dancers on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing reportedly declined to get vaccinated, he tweeted: “Sack them and replace them with jabbed dancers.

“Would you apply the same rules to HIV positive dancers?”

Fox has also failed in the political sphere, after clashing with London Mayor Sadiq Khan, he tried to run for the job himself under his own political group, the Reclaim Party.

However, he lost his £10,000 deposit after only managing to pull in 47,000 votes in 2021.

In 2022, Fox accused ex-wife Billie of denying him access to their children, alleging he had not been able to see or speak to his eldest son on his birthday.

He ranted on X, formerly Twitter: “Put children first. Don’t use them as weapons.”

And in September 2023 he was sacked from GB News for breaking broadcasting rules with his “misogynistic” comments, when he called female journalist Ava Evans “pathetic” and asked: “Who’d want to shag that?”

Last year, Fox lost a High Court appeal to overturn a libel case against him for defamation against Drag artist Crystal — real name Colin Seymour.

Crystal lodged the case for defamation after Fox branded the performer and ex-Stonewall trustee Simon Blake “paedophiles” during a social media row.

Their clash was sparked by Fox calling for a Sainsbury’s boycott after they promised to provide a safe space for black employees during Black History Month.

BITTER SPLIT

Actress Billie Piper spoke out for the first time last year about her divisive ex-husband Fox, saying: “Divorce speaks for itself.”

It has been nine years since the former Doctor Who star split from the activist — but she is forced to confront his controversial views almost daily as they have children together.

Outspoken Fox has been criticised for making “misogynistic” and deliberately provocative comments on TV and on social media.

He recently  lost a libel case at the High Court against a drag artist who he called a paedophile online.

Throughout the years, Billie has maintained her silence – until now.

The 41-year-old star of stage and screen, said: “Of course I have feelings on that, I’m not dead inside.

“I’ve had to make some choices and a divorce speaks for itself – or at least it should.

“I try to keep people from telling me stuff but it’s really, really hard.

“I don’t read it but everyone wants to talk about it.

“Sometimes I have to say to people: ‘Please don’t bring this to me, now or ever.’”

Former pop star Billie married Fox in December 2007 and they have two sons, now aged 11 and 15.

But the couple separated in March 2016, with their divorce finalised two months later.

I’m a tech expert and the comfiest headphones I’ve ever worn are 38% cheaper in the Amazon Spring Sale

Person wearing Shokz OpenFit Air earbuds.

THESE headphones are so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing them, and they’re a steal in the Spring Sale.

The Shokz OpenFit Air have dropped from £119 to just £74, the lowest price I’ve seen since trying them myself.

Shokz headphones are some of the comfiest I’ve tried, and they’re now on sale[/caption]

Shokz OpenFit Air Open-Ear Headphones, £119 £74

I’ve covered plenty of Amazon sales over the years, so I know a real deal when I see one.

Among this year’s standout offers is the Shokz OpenFit Air, which I own and absolutely love.

They even earned the top spot for the best open-ear model in my pick of the best wireless headphones for running.

If you’re not familiar with open-ear headphones, they either use bone or air conduction smarts to play music while keeping your ears open.

That’s perfect for exercise or outdoor activities where you need to stay aware of your surroundings.

I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first, but after trying them out, I was sold.

They’re the most comfortable I’ve tried, and it’s so practical to still hear what’s going on around you.

I wear them on my commute and love that I can enjoy my playlists while still hearing cyclists whizzing by or train announcements.

The OpenFit Air headphones are super lightweight at just 8.7g, with an ergonomic design that stays put even during intense workouts.

They’re snug yet soft, thanks to the flexible memory alloy ear hooks and silicone finish.

You get six hours of playtime on a single charge, and the case boosts that to a hefty 28 hours.

For those last-minute runs, or when you’re in a pinch, a quick 10-minute charge gives you two hours of runtime.

It’s not just me singing the praises of Shokz’s open-ear design, either.

One Amazon shopper raved, ‘I finally got earbuds that can fit in my ears and stay on. I don’t need to worry much about them coming off, even with glasses.’

Another said, ‘I use them for running and gym work and there is never a fear of them falling off.

‘You tend to forget that you are wearing them; they are that comfortable.’

With an impressive 4.4 out of 5-star rating and over 400 units sold in the last month alone, these headphones are clearly a hit.

If you’re still on the fence, check out our full Shokz OpenFit Air review to see if they’re the right fit for you.

The Spring Sale kicks off today, March 25th, and runs until Monday, March 31st, perfect timing if you’re looking to grab a bargain ahead of Mother’s Day.

Video obtained by The Sun shows the pests scaling a wall where restaurant deliveries are taken.

One local resident said more than a dozen “big and small” rats were seen crawling out of bins.

She said: “They were massive. The rats didn’t seem scared of people at all.

“They were swarming everywhere. It’s sickening. They were spilling out onto the pavement.

“I was going for a burger and I spotted them. I didn’t fancy it afterwards, it was grim.”

Pest control experts are believed to have visited the fast food giant after the sighting on March 5.

The rats were seen behind McDonald’s and close to a Premier Inn hotel, witnesses said.

A McDonald’s spokeswoman said: “Cleanliness and hygiene are of the utmost importance to us.

“This issue relates to the waste storage area outside of our restaurant where our neighbours are currently undertaking building work.

“As soon as it was brought to our attention we contacted our pest prevention partner, as well as our neighbouring businesses, to take immediate action.”
