I’m trolled for going to court in bandages to fight for my kids back – after having a ‘mummy makeover’ just DAYS before

A WOMAN who has been trolled for going to court days after having a mummy makeover has hit back at critics.

Victoria shared a video of herself getting ready for the court proceedings, sporting a compression vest and bandages on her chest and under her eyes.

She explained that she was trying to regain custody of her children after successfully battling a drug addiction.

“This is me about to rock up to a court hearing looking like this,” she said in the TikTok video.

“‘Hi judge, can I have my child? Promise I’m normal!’

“I really hope he doesn’t judge me. I mean he’s going to judge me, he’s a judge but judge me for the right reasons.

“Having a face lift doesn’t make me a terrible mother.”

As well as a lower face lift, Victoria had a tummy tuck, breast lift and neck lift – often referred to as a “mummy makeover”.

In a bid to somewhat conceal her bandages, she decided to wear a roll neck top, which she paired with a pair of blue suit trousers.

She then popped on a pair of sunglasses, which hid the bandages beneath her eyes.

Concluding her video, she hilariously held up a notebook which had “You look better than Beyoncé today” written on the front.

“The notebook is gaslighting me but I’m here for it, I’ll take it!” she laughed.

But people in the comments section quickly slammed Victoria for her decision to go forward with the surgery before her court date.

“Wondering if money would be better saved up for child in preparation for them returning home… rather then on hardcore cosmetic surgery.. just first impression,” one sarcastically wrote.

“I’m afraid to say I would have waited till after the court date to do this,” another added.

But someone else hit back: “Didn’t realise treating yourself to make you more comfortable in your own skin can have an impact on you in court.

“It’s her actions towards her kids they’re looking at not her face or body.”

“Exactly!” Victoria replied.

Speaking to Fabulous Online, she continued to explain: “I was due to have the surgery earlier but it was postponed by the surgeon due to a low blood count.

“Had it been at the original intended date, the plasters would not have been visible.

“I refused to let my pride get in the way of fighting for my children and still showed up at court despite having had the surgery on my body just 10 days prior.

“Nothing was going to stop me from fighting for my kids!”

Victoria also said that the judge saw “how far I’ve come since going into recovery and commended me and my ex-husband on our co parenting skills”.

“She had no concern with how I chose to improve my body,” she added.

“I lost a lot of weight after going into recovery and wanted to tighten up my loose skin – I don’t see how this reflects on my parenting!”

Following the court date, Victoria told us: “Contact with my children has now been finalised and there are no safeguarding concerns.

“Everything had already been agreed, this final hearing was just to sign off the final order and I knew having plasters on my face would not affect anything.”

“People are so naive when it comes to family court,” she sighed.

Victoria concluded by saying that the cost of the surgery wasn’t an issue, as she got it for free thanks to a collaboration with the clinic.

Stark warning as UK faces surge of FIVE infectious diseases – putting lives at risk and NHS under ‘immense strain’

BRITAIN is facing an “unrelenting rise” in “vaccine-preventable infections”, putting immense strain on the NHS, a new report reveals.

Cases of measles, RSV, flu, whooping cough, and tuberculosis have all surged since 2022.

“It’s a big wake-up call for eligible groups to go and get vaccinated,” Richard Pebody, director of the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) told The Sun.

Experts blame plummeting jab rates, increased socialising, and international travel.

“We are really starting to lose ground again,” Dame Jenny Harries also from the UKHSA, said at the body’s annual conference.

The fresh warnings come from the body’s first infectious disease trends report, tracking data since 2022, released today.

It revealed that 20 per cent of hospital beds are taken up by infectious disease patients and they cost the NHS £6billion last year.

“Behind this data there are real people, people who are sick or at risk of becoming sick, and in some cases dying,” Dame Jenny added.

“Yet much of this harm and distress is preventable.”

This comes just days after UKHSA released a new list of viruses and bacteria posing the greatest pandemic threat.

The “priority pathogen” guide highlighted flu and coronaviruses as the biggest risks.

Cases of TB, dubbed the ‘world’s most infectious disease,’ are soaring, up 11 per cent in 2023 and another 13 per cent in 2024, figures show.

For years, the UK was classified as a ‘low incidence’ nation due to its low TB rates.

But health chiefs have warned that if cases keep rising, the country could lose this status, meaning more people could be at risk of catching the disease.

This week, global health officials warned that rates of the deadly disease in Europe had surged, with child cases jumping by 10 per cent in just one year.

Meanwhile, measles cases surged among children under 10 in 2023/4, as MMR jab uptake remains at a shocking 15-year low.

An outbreak of whooping cough, also called the ‘100-day cough’ in 2024 saw 433 cases in children under three months, 10 of whom tragically died.

Similarly, this comes as coverage of the maternal whooping cough vaccine, which protects newborns, has dropped in recent years.

RSV and flu cases have spiked in 2024/25, with hospital admissions at post-pandemic levels.

The NHS offers vaccines for children, including those for measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, HPV, and flu.

Pregnant women can receive vaccines for flu and whooping cough through the NHS to protect both themselves and their babies.

If you believe you or your child has missed a vaccine, contact your GP to arrange a catch-up dose.

The life-saving vaccines you need at every age

The age at which you receive a vaccine depends on two things - the vaccine itself and the diseases it protects against.

Teenager Avani (Aaliyah James) was left shattered in harrowing EastEnders scenes after brutal police strip-search.

When Avani, along with pals Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner), skipped school, they were caught by two female officers.

During the bust, dealer Marvin dropped a bag of pills at Avani’s feet, leading to her being accused of carrying drugs.

With her parents unreachable, Avani was forced to be accompanied by an alternative adult and informed she’d be strip-searched.

Initially dismissive, Avani quickly realised the gravity of the situation when the officers threatened to restrain her with handcuffs.

Shocked, she agreed to comply, but had no idea she’d have to undress completely, even removing her underwear.

In a further disturbing turn, the officers demanded Avani bend over naked, leaving her humiliated and terrified.

After finding no drugs, the officers made her sign a form, and her step-grandmother, Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal), arrived to take her home.

Suki was furious, but Avani, still shaken, urged her not to make a complaint.

Back at the Square, a row erupted when Avani lashed out at her mum Priya (Sophie Khan Levy), who had no idea about the strip-search.

Priya, horrified when she learned the truth, stormed over to confront detective Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) demanding action, while Avani broke down in private.

The 15-year-old was left traumatised after the Square learned about her shocking encounter with the police.

A devastating performance by Aaliyah James brought the heart-wrenching story to life, leaving viewers wondering if the police will face consequences and how Avani will cope after such an ordeal.

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30pm on BBC One or watch from 6am on BBC iPlayer.

Soap's most harrowing teen storylines

We take a look at other harrowing teen soap storylines from soaps Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

Belle Dingle’s schizophrenia in Emmerdale – Belle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) traumatic journey in Emmerdale took a dark turn when, after accidentally killing her best friend Gemma at just 16, her mental health began to spiral.

The storyline, which saw Belle struggling with her grief and guilt, showcased her battle with hearing Gemma’s voice inside her head, leading to a dramatic decline in her well-being.

Hannah Ashworth’s anorexia in Hollyoaks – Viewers were horrified as they watched Hannah (Emma Rigby), a seemingly innocent teen, spiral into dangerous behavior, starving herself in an attempt to achieve what she thought was the ideal body.

As Hannah’s condition worsened, the storyline became more intense, culminating in her being hospitalised for two months as she fought for her life.

Bethany Platt’s grooming ordeal in Coronation Street – Vulnerable schoolgirl, played by Lucy Fallon, was at the centre of one of Corrie’s darkest storylines to date when she fell under the spell of her older boyfriend and sexual predator.

The controversial scenes saw Nathan groom and manipulate the 16-year-old before coercing her into sleeping with his friends, with one of them raping her.

Whitney Dean’s abuse from Tony in EastEnders – Since the age of 12, she had been in a twisted relationship with her stepmum Bianca’s boyfriend, Tony King. The predator had groomed young Whit (Shona McGarty), making her believe she was in love and planning to run away with him.

On her 16th birthday, the traumatised teen finally revealed the years of abuse to Bianca. Tony was swiftly sent to prison sentenced for 13 years.
