Arthur and Brian recently said they are “blown away” by the “incredible support” they’ve received from fans on their passion project.

The Dancing with the stars judge and his Six O’Clock Show host husband first launched The AG in 2022 as a unisex sock brand.

Since they have established the line, Brian and Arthur expanded The AG’s range into hoodies and sweatshirts.

The new unisex half-zip fleeces, featuring a stunning heart print, are available to buy in a variety of different colours.

Since their release just over a week ago, the stylish pieces have been a huge hit, with fans raving about them.

SUPER SUPPORT

Arthur and Brian took to their Instagram page to express their gratitude for the overwhelming support and excitement surrounding the collection.

The pair also teased some exciting updates on what’s next for their fashion project.

The caption read: “We want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support and for ordering our very first fleeces.

“We are absolutely blown away by your amazing response and couldn’t be happier to see how much you’re loving them.

“To answer the question many of you have been asking: Yes, there will be more fleeces coming in the future!

“However, they will feature new designs. As you know, all our clothing is unisex and part of a limited-edition collection we never repeat the same designs.

“We are honestly at a loss for words. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your enthusiasm and support.”

Clarke’s legal team are said to have applied for the paper’s libel defence to be stuck out.

The newspaper has defended its stories, in 2021 and 2022, which led to Clarke being suspended by Bafta.

The star of Doctor Who and Kidulthood is suing Guardian News and Media over stories which were published in 2021 and 2022 alleging sexual harassment, groping and bullying against women.

Clarke, 49, denies the allegations and says they led to him losing roles.

Sky halted work on the fourth series of Bulleproof, starring Clarke, while ITV also pulled the final episode of drama Viewpoint amid the fallout of the claims.

His defence is said to include claims that journalists deleted messages.

A decision on a March trial will be made at the High Court tomorrow.

The Guardian said: “This was a carefully- reported investigation.”

IRFU performance director David Humphreys insists Irish rugby needs Leinster strong as other provinces must catch up

DAVID HUMPHREYS insisted that Irish rugby needs a strong Leinster – and the rest of the provinces must catch up.

The IRFU’S High Performance Director is in Portugal this week as Ireland – under interim coach Simon Easterby – prepare for Saturday’s Six Nations opener with England.

The star-studded Leinster team are unbeaten in all competitions this season as

As his title suggests, all top level action in the men’s and women’s game falls under his remit from provincial coaching appointments to even what overseas players can be signed.

And one major issue that keeps coming up for the former Ireland No. 10 is the growing gap between Leinster and their Irish rivals Munster, Ulster and Connacht

That is evidenced in Easterby’s squad in Quinta do Lago; 22 of the 36-man panel are with Leinster and it was 23 before Tadhg Furlong’s withdrawal.

The production line is also Leinster-heavy with 17 of the 31-strong Under-20s side coming from the province too.

Humphreys acknowledged: “I’m slightly reticent to bring up stats but in the squad of 100 players that were on our U18s, U19s, and U20s this year, 50 of those were from Leinster.

“50 percent from one province is too much, our system isn’t working properly but it’s a credit to Leinster.

“So what we’ve got to try and do is reduce that reliance on Leinster across all our squads.”

Supporters of Munster, Ulster and Connacht would highlight the backing that the IRFU given Leinster with nine of the 12 centralised contracts players being Dublin-based.

But eight of those nine are homegrown – the exception being Robbie Henshaw. Ian Henderson, Bundee Aki and Tadhg Beirne are the three non-Leinster men on IRFU deals.

And Humphreys insisted that rather punish Leinster for success, it is about the other three catching up as he wants to see all four Irish provinces in the latter stages of the Champions Cup.

He continued: “Everyone around the world of rugby is looking to what Leinster are doing in their system to produce the players and the success they’ve had.

“For me, it’s about making sure that Leinster remain where they are.

“We want Leinster winning Champions Cups, we want Leinster in finals of the URC, as we want all the provinces, but at this minute time, that’s the level they’re competing at.

“So it’s much more a case of maintaining Leinster where they are, but making sure the support that goes to the other provinces allows them to continue their progression and move.

“Rather than compare the other provinces and say, Leinster have got this, the other provinces haven’t got that, it’s what’s right for each of those provinces and that’s very much going to have to be driven by them.

“They’re the ones that are working in the schools and the clubs and at the grassroots, so it’s about trying to put a longer term…as part of our strategic plan is we’ve talked about winning teams.

“Of course, it’s Ireland teams but it’s also about getting our provinces back and what’s right for one isn’t necessarily right for all four.

“We have to ensure the provinces close the gap to where the current difference with Leinster is.”

The new Performance Director also clarified that there are no firm rules on overseas players signing now, as the IRFU will review all provincial requests on a case by case basis.

Currently, Leinster are in talks about keeping hold of French man Rabah Slimani and Springbok RG Snyman for next season.

But Humphreys also highlighted the need for Irish players to be playing and acknowledged that more could move on loan as Harry Byrne has done this month to Bristol Bears.

And while he insisted that no Irish players playing abroad will be considered for the national team, he insisted that Byrne is an exception as he remains contracted to Leinster.

David Humphreys confident in Simon Easterby for Six Nations but hopes Farrell stays beyond 2027

DAVID HUMPHREYS is confident Ireland will be okay without Andy Farrell in the Championship – but he insisted he still wants him leading the team long-term.

Ireland kick off their Six Nations campaign on Saturday against England as they look to make it three Championships in a row without inspirational head coach Farrell.

Andy Farrell and Simon Easterby, Ireland's rugby coaches.
Simone Easterby leads Ireland as Andy Farrell must take a year out due to taking the Lions head coach role

He is on secondment with the Lions this summer as assistant coach Simon Easterby steps up temporarily.

And while it looks like an audition for Easterby, Humphreys insisted it is not part of succession-planning as he hopes Farrell remains beyond his current contract for the 2027 World Cup.

Humphreys said: “You’d like Andy to stay for as long as he can in terms of how highly he is regarded and how highly he is rated.

“Andy Farrell will be missed for any coaching team. In my opinion he’s the best rugby coach in the world and that’s why he’s become such an important part of what we do.

“Succession in sport, you can have a plan but very rarely does it follow because so many different things can crop up.

“But I’m very confident that the system that’s here and the coaches we have inside and outside the system that when the time comes, we’ll be well-resourced.”

And he insisted that Easterby and his coaching staff can ensure that Ireland do not Farrell over the next seven weeks.

He added:“Yes, Andy isn’t here but nothing else has changed.

“Simon has been a big part of the success over the last few years, he has head coach experience and I have no doubt he’ll thrive under the pressure that will come with head coach over the next few weeks.

“Having been on the Emerging Ireland tour and seen how Simon and Paulie (O’Connell), John Fogarty, and Andrew Goodman work together, I have absolutely no doubt it will be an easy transition in the next few months.”

Humphreys is also confident that Ireland will be much better in the next seven weeks that they were in last November’s Series

While Ireland won three of four games as they beat Argentina, Fiji and Australia after a loss to New Zealand, performances well well below expectations in Farrell’s final games.

But Humphreys is confident that is an aberration due to an unusual build-up as players’ seasons started late due to the extended 2023-24 campaign.

He added: “When the review was taken of the November series, when you look before that, coming into that competition, the provinces weren’t playing particularly well, some of our key players were probably struggling a bit with their form.

“Compare that with the last month where I think you’ve seen a lot of our top players playing really well in Europe.

“That’s why we’re going into the Six Nations in a really good spot. The players are playing with a lot more confidence that comes from having played well.”
