Noel Radford horrifies fans with ‘bargain’ Asda shop on 22 Kids & Counting leaving them blasting the kids ‘need rules’
WHILST Noel Radford was left delighted with his ‘bargain’ £349 Asda shop in the most recent episode of his family show, viewers were horrified over the carnage inside his ‘millionaire mansion’.
In a clip from Sunday’s episode of 22 Kids & Counting, Noel Radford, 54, was seen doing some shopping in Asda, as he stocked up on essentials for his bumper brood.
![Noel and Sue Radford discussing their £349 Asda shop.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/349-asda-shop-22-kids-967495050.png?strip=all&w=960)
![Close-up of a store checkout screen showing a £349.45 total for 67 items.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/349-asda-shop-22-kids-967495049.png?strip=all&w=960)

The short clip from the Channel 5 show, which was shared on the Radford family’s official YouTube account, saw the family’s patriarch nab maths sets, pens and erasers, as well as school shirts, blouses, tees and shoes.
67 items later, the shopping came to an eye-watering total of £349.45.
But whilst many of us would shudder at the thought of splashing that amount of cash on just one supermarket trip, the dad-of-22 was left thrilled with the total cost.
As he took his shopping bags and thanked the cashier, Noel gushed: “Bargain, thank you very much.”
But whilst Noel was happy with his ‘bargain’ buys, Radford viewers were horrified over how the children of Britain’s Biggest Family treat their 10 bedroom former care home mansion, which is located in Morecambe.
The family’s matriarch, Sue, 49, explained: “Believe it or not, there are times when it is quiet in this house.”
But she then confirmed: “It definitely doesn’t last long.”
And seconds later, viewers saw snippets of the kids legging it up the stairs, jumping on their beds and sofas and slamming doors.
To this, Noel chimed in: ”The second they walk through the door, that’s it.
“It’s chaos.”
And the YouTube clip, which has quickly racked up 67,000 views in just three days, has clearly left many open-mouthed.
Not only were viewers shocked by the noise level in the ‘mad house’, but many mothers slammed the parents-of-22 and claimed the Radford kids need ‘respect’ and ‘control’.

One person said: “Such a mad house with no control or respect for the house.
“Slamming doors and jumping on the sofas, shouting and screaming from the younger ones, absolute bedlam for me!”
We all know what kids are like but they need rules
YouTube user
Another added: “They jump on sofas and beds and I wonder if they have broken any of the furniture as I should imagine they have with so many of them jumping on the furniture at the same time.”
A third commented: “You are wonderful parents but I have five kids and I never allowed them to jump up and down on my sofas.
“I had a nice word with them they are not built to use as trampolines.
“They respect my sofas and they don’t do it at all. We all know what kids are like but they need rules.”
How does family-of-22 the Radfords afford to live?
AS Britain’s biggest family, it may come as no surprise that Sue and Noel Radford must have some hefty bills.
Between them, they have a whopping 22 children and seven dogs, which often has some people wonder how they manage their money.
The Radfords support themselves with the proceeds of Noel’s bakery, The Radford Pie Company, which is located near their home.
On their website, it says: “We have owned our own lovely bakery since 1999 which is how we manage to provide for (and feed) our huge and expanding family as well as for the local people of Heysham and Morecambe.”
The family expanded their business to cater to online orders placed across the UK.
The business is a family affair, with Noel at the helm, and some of their children helping out.
The older kids, who are working at least part-time, don’t get a free ride as they’re made to pay a small amount of rent to their parents.
“Us older ones do pay a little bit of board. Granted it’s not a lot but I’m also trying to save up for my own house at the moment.” their daughter Chloe said in a video on the YouTube channel.
Sue added: “We’ve always said if you want to buy somewhere, renting is a bit of dead money, so we’d rather you saved that money up and stayed at home a bit longer.
“I also do believe they should pay board if they are earning. We’ve always been brought up by our parents that we had to pay board.”
Noel and Sue famously don’t rely on benefits for their bumper brood and live off their pie shop for income.
They also revealed they make money from brand partnerships on social media.
The Radford family stars in their own reality TV show 22 Kids and Counting – which has run for four series.
Brand expert Andy Barr believes Noel and Sue have been paid less than £10,000 for each show.
He told the Daily Mail: “The typical fee per episode is going to be in the thousands rather than the tens or hundreds of thousands that people often think is the case with TV shows of this nature.
“If they continue to get commissioned for a fourth or fifth season, then they are going to be able to command a higher fee.”
He estimates that the Radfords make £ 5,000 an episode.

Under-fire Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh off air after backlash over Holocaust coverage
RANVIR Singh was missing from Good Morning Britain today following backlash over her report on the Holocaust.
The presenter, 47, was forced to apologise yesterday for failing to mention Jews as she listed the targeted groups of victims murdered at the hands of Nazi Germany.

The error was made during the ITV show’s coverage of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on Monday.
Charlotte Hawkins, 49, was seen on-screen today instead as she read the news bulletins for breakfast show viewers.
The Sun has reached out to ITV for comment.
Good Morning Britain came under fire over the incident on Monday by the Campaign Against Antisemitism.
While listing the victims of the death camps, Ms Singh included a number of targeted groups, but not those of the Jewish faith.
She said live on air: “Six million people were killed in concentration camps during the Second World War, as well as millions of others because they were Polish, disabled, gay or belonged to another ethnic group.”
A Campaign Against Antisemitism spokesman said it “truly beggars belief”, adding it was “dire reporting”.
They went on to say: “If this is intended to pay respect to the victims of Holocaust Memorial Day, it has failed abysmally and ignores the true nature of this horrific event.
“Additionally, there is bafflingly no utterance of the word ‘antisemitism’ whatsoever.”
In an apology issued a day after the report was aired, Ms Singh said: “In yesterday’s news, when we reported on the memorial events in Auschwitz, we said six million people were killed in the Holocaust but crucially failed to say they were Jewish. That was our mistake, which we apologise for.”
In a statement, ITV added: “In our studio introduction to the report on the 80th anniversary of Auschwitz we failed to acknowledge the Jewish community which we have since apologised for live on air in today’s programme.
“This failure was done in error, however clear reference to Jewish people in the correspondent news report from Auschwitz immediately followed, as well as a further extended programme report referencing the six million Jewish victims.
“Yesterday’s programme also included a live studio interview with a survivor of Auschwitz, Rachel Levy alongside Olivia Marks-Woldman, Chief Executive of the Holocaust Memorial Trust, both of whom talked candidly about their own experiences as Jewish people.”
Holocaust Memorial Day celebrates the closing of the Nazis’ biggest death camp by Allied forces on January 27 1945.

Campaign Against Antisemitism full statement
Six million people were killed in concentration camps during the Second World War, as well as millions of others because they were Polish, disabled, gay, or belonged to another ethnic group.
Jews. The word you’re looking for is ‘Jews’, not ‘people’. This truly beggars belief.
This dire reporting is not only factually incorrect but erases Jews from a genocide in which six million Jewish men, women and children were slaughtered specifically because they were Jews.
How is it possible, therefore, that on Holocaust Memorial Day of all days, @GMB manages to acknowledge several other groups but not Jews?
To make matters worse, there is no reference to Jewish people at all for over two minutes into this segment, and when there finally is one, it is only done once and in regard to former history students taking a tour of the Jewish quarter of Kraków.
Additionally, there is bafflingly no utterance of the word “antisemitism” whatsoever. If this is intended to pay respect to the victims of Holocaust Memorial Day, it has failed abysmally and ignores the true nature of this horrific event.
How on earth was this allowed to happen, @ITV? We demand an explanation.
Shaughna Phillips stuns as she shows off results of her incredible six stone weight loss in sizzling lingerie snaps
LOVE Island favourite Shaughna Phillips has revealed her toned figure in stunning lingerie snaps – after revealing the impact of her weight loss on her body.
It came just weeks after the ITV2 personality, 30, was forced to deny using weight loss jabs for her transformation.
![Shaughna Phillips in a gold bikini in a kitchen.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/475cb84b-d7cc-41fd-9119-63deb76056af.jpg?strip=all&w=577)

The star – who featured in Love Island‘s sixth season – recently joked how she looked like a “rolled up ham” as she tried on outfits from her 2020 series.
Yet mum of one Shaughna has now stripped to metallic lingerie for a weight loss video in her kitchen.
After losing six stone, she pulled on a gold crop top with a zipper at the front and matching thong.
Her rock hard abs were on full display as she posed in her kitchen with her hands on her hips, before blowing a kiss to the camera.
She twinned her image up with one showing her in an orange bandeau bikini, prior to her new wellbeing routine.
In her caption she wrote: “I wish it was as quick as this transition makes it look, wouldn’t that be a perfect world.
“A lot of sweating, patience and a major shift in how I view food which was always my go-to pleasure and comfort.
“I still love my food – I have just learnt how to have what I want in healthy portions. So yes I’ll eat ice cream – just not an entire tub.
“I deffo didn’t lose 5 and a half Stone on my own though, my incredible nutritionist Jo T and trainers Keegan and Justin helped me get there over 14 months.”
Shaughna also switched to pose in black lingerie and revealed how her weight loss had changed her shape.
She added: “Get me a bigger top! The girls have gone down a lot since losing weight (10 and a half inches to be precise)…
“But honestly I ain’t mad at it, they had their own force of gravity at one point.”
It was a wake up call from a full body MOT a year after becoming a first time mum that gave Shaughna the motivation she needed to change her lifestyle.
Scan results revealed she had high levels of visceral fat around her organs which could lead to serious health conditions like heart attacks, diabetes and cancer if left unaddressed.

Shaughna previously told she had instead concentrated on “incredible eating” and an “exercise plan” to get her diet on track.
In a lengthy caption which gave more detail on her exact weight loss she wrote: “NO-zempic here guys! Just an incredible eating and exercise plan.
“And it didn’t happen that quickly either. It actually took me over a year to lose 5 and a half Stone. And I did NOT do it alone – I had great help. But not from any kind of weight loss injection or pill.
“Sad that you can’t lose weight naturally now without people saying that btw.
“So I do understand why there are comments saying that and I would never knock anyone for taking them but it’s just not how I’ve chosen to do this.”
Popular with some Hollywood stars, Ozempic is actually a treatment for type 2 diabetes.
It increases the levels of incretins – a hormone – which helps your body to produce more insulin when needed and supresses the amount of glucose produced by the liver.
The jab also suppresses users’ appetite – mimicking a naturally occurring hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1, which is usually released after eating.
As a result patients have less of an appetite, and reduce the number of calories they eat.
Shaughna previously emphasised her point when she claimed celebs on Ozempic are “too thin.”
She also exclusively told The Sun how she was “terrified” about gaining weight should she become pregnant again.
The former Love Island star says she did “nuclear damage” on herself during her first maternity journey, eating everything she wanted without worrying about the consequences on her body.

Urgent hunt for woman, 29, who fled cops after falling from moving car with child outside Shell petrol station
COPS are hunting a woman who fell from a moving car with a child outside a Shell petrol station.
Wanted Raychel Hardingham fell with the youngster from a blue Volvo on the A1067 Fakenham Road, in Taverham, Norfolk.
![Shell gas station in Taverham.](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Shell-Garage-Taverham-gmaps.jpg?strip=all&w=960)
The 29-year-old was rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries after the horror at 9.54pm on April 21, 2023.
She was discharged three weeks later, while the child who suffered minor injuries was released after a couple of days.
Hardingham was charged in June last year with assaulting, ill treating, neglecting, and abandoning a child to cause unnecessary suffering or injury.
But she failed to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court and cops are now on an urgent hunt to track her down.
Norfolk Constabulary have issued a warrant for her arrest.
A spokesman for the force said Hardingham is “still wanted”.
Officers are also trying to identify a woman who was driving a white BMW 1 Series and stopped to help at the scene, but had gone when police arrived.
Caroline Karimi-Ghovanlou, chairman of Taverham Parish Council told the EDP: “I was horrified to hear what happened.
“You don’t expect something like this to happen in Taverham.
“I’m shocked and only hope that the woman and child involved are alright.”
Norfolk Constabulary urged anyone who may have information or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
Those with information should contact DS Richard Dickinson at Swaffham police station quoting NC-21042023-544.
