Ekin-Su slammed by Love Island fans over foul-mouthed outburst on All Stars as they insist ‘Curtis did nothing wrong’
EKIN-SU has been slammed by Love Island fans for her foul-mouthed outburst on All Stars.
On tonight’s episode, Curtis was picked by new bombshell Danielle Sellers for a night in the Hideaway.
Despite insisting that he was “closed off” with Ekin, he quickly had his head turned and told her that he owed it to himself to get to know Danielle.
After their night in the Hideaway, Elma revealed that Curtis had “held hands” with Danielle, which left Ekin panicking.
She pulled him for a chat and quizzed him on it, asking: “No hand touching in the morning?”
A confused Curtis replied: “No.”
Ekin explained: “Elma said there sort of ‘your hand on her hand’.”
Curtis denied it and said: “They were asking if I was ‘closed off’ and I said ‘yeah’. I’m sorry you’re feeling upset, we had a chat, she’s a grounded nice person.”
A furious Ekin hit back: “I don’t give a f*** if the girl is a good, or a nice, or wonderful person. Or if you have compatibility, I don’t give a f***.”
Curtis tried to reassure her, saying: “My eyes are set on what we have.”
But an upset Ekin told him: “But why do I feel like that line has been crossed a little bit?”
Curtis responded: “Because Elma’s obviously come to you and said that we’ve touched hands.”
But the brunette beauty was still hurt and ended up walking off.
Some fans have begged Ekin to “reign it in” and “drop the theatrics” before she scares off Curtis for good.
One wrote: “Ekin need to see a therapist, this isn’t right at all.”
A second concerned viewer asked: “Is Ekin okay? Can the producers check on her please.”
A third commented: “Ekin does not give a s*** about Curtis’s feelings at all !!!!! Me me me me me me.”
“I don’t blame Curtis for pulling away from Ekin,” a fourth posted.
This person pointed out: “As a man who can’t bare drama I can see why Curtis is having 2nd thoughts about Ekin-Su after her reaction . You behave perfectly acceptable and still get that reaction. What’s the point.”
Someone else shared: “It’s the way Curtis is just reassuring Ekin but she says ‘I just want to be reassured’. I get being insecure but girl please get a grip you can’t make him apologise for something he hasn’t done.”
But not all fans agreed, with one writing: “Curtis told Ekin he was closed off, then tells Danielle he isn’t closed off. Ekin flat out tells him to tell her if he isn’t interested in her and he says he is. Curtis spins 2 stories to two different girls. Ekin might be over the top, but Curtis is a lying snake.”
Another said: “I’m on Ekin side . Curtis lied saying he was closed off . Did the same thing he did to Amy.”
“Curtis literally lied to Danielle and caused Ekin to spiral because of his lies now he’s trying to twist it and play the sympathy card? Ladies and gentlemen this is what you call a narcissist and manipulator there’s a reason why Maura refuses to speak to him,” this viewer suggested.
Later in the episode Ekin and Curtis tried to clear the air, but it ended in tears.
Ekin told Curtis that she felt “worthless, betrayed, s*** and insecure” after his night away.
Curtis later admitted he “can’t have a relationship without trust” and feels like they’ve gone two steps back.
Ekin insisted she’s only behaving like that because she’s vulnerable and “falling for him” and was unhappy that didn’t reassure her.
Despite being committed to Ekin, Curtis said he’ll still talk to Danielle, leaving her baffled.
Later Danielle and Curtis had a chat and admitted he was surprised by Ekin’s overreaction.
He then dropped a bombshell and said he regretted ‘closing things off’ with Ekin so soon, as viewers watched his head turn.
A fearful Ekin then spotted the pair having a chat and broke down in tears, leaving Ronnie to comfort her.
Is it all over for Ekin and Curtis?

Heartbreaking moment Wynne Evans admits he wants to be ‘a better person’ and ditch ‘clown’ persona before Strictly axe
BBC viewers were given an insight into Wynne Evan’s mindset before the Strictly controversy surrounding him began in his travel show All At Sea.
The 53-year-old opened up to his co-presenter, Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
The comments were made as part of the new BBC series All at Sea[/caption] Wynne opened up to co-presenter Joanna Page[/caption]For those who have watched this week, All At Sea shows an emotional chat between the presenters where the Go Compare front man opens up about his mental health.
Filmed weeks before Wynne appeared on Strictly, the show sees the pair visiting some of their favourite places in their homeland of Wales.
The BBC has come under some scrutiny for continuing to air the show amid the fallout of Wynne’s controversial comments that have seen him axed from the Strictly tour.
It seems the beautiful surroundings of his favourite places helped clear his mind and enabled him to speak out about the troubles he’s faced in the past.
Talking about the experience of making the travel show, he says: “I’m finding it quite cathartic, I haven’t felt anxious or depressed on this trip at all.
“I’ve totally been in different mindset and it’s actually been really good for me to have a reboot.”
Speaking to Joanna he admits that he often feels that he’s putting on a persona – and he wants to drop the “clown” act.
He added: “There’s an opera called Pagliacci which is about the clown entertaining people, and when you take the make-up off it’s a very, very different person underneath.
“I suppose that’s my goal. I wanted to be the same person on air and off air, that’s the journey I am on.”
The Sun tonight revealed that following his well publicised decision to take a step back from his work at the BBC and elsewhere, he’s returned to Wales where close friends are rallying around him.
A source said “Wynne is surrounded by people who are supporting him and the BBC have assigned him someone to talk to.”
“He is incredibly apologetic and knows what he says was misjudged. Wynne’s Strictly co-stars have all rallied and are backing him all the way.
“They all love Wynne and have a lot of time for him. Janette has nothing but affection for Wynne. They just want him to be alright.”
This all comes after the singer and broadcaster was filmed making remarks to Janette Manrara about a “spit roast” during a group photo for the Strictly tour.
Wynne’s brother Mark Llewelyn Evans has also voiced his support, taking to X to say: “I want to express my unwavering support for him during this challenging time.”
