1 week agoLatest NewsComments Off on The UK’s best-selling used cars under £5k: Our expert picks of the best low-cost motors, including Europe’s best-seller
DESPITE the used car market hotting up, there are still bargains to be had. It’s possible to get a reliable family run around, city car or even SUV for less than £5k – but only if you know what you’re buying.
At this end of the market, cash is still king. A Gocompare survey found that 59.8% of Brits prefer to buy a car with cash.
One of the benefits of buying a car outright is that there’s no interest and no monthly payments.
Paying with cash can give you a stronger position to attempt to negotiate a better deal. Sometimes, you can even drive away with the car on the day.
But what’s the best used car to buy for under £5,000? In this article, the auto experts at Sun Motors share their views on the best used cars for under £5,000 from 2024 and for the coming year.
You’ll also find some hints and tips to help you buy the perfect second-hand car and avoid being left with a pup.
Best used cars 2025: from low-cost convertibles to durable family saloons
Here, our experts have selected three of the best-value used cars in 2025.
Dacia Sandero
This 2014 Dacia Sandero is currently for sale at £4,296
The Dacia Sandero is Europe’s best-selling car, with over 8 million on the road. More cars produced means more for sale – and that means bargains can be had.
The Sandero is a small car designed and built by parent company Renault using tried and tested components.
Despite being one of the cheapest new cars on the market, the Sandero is more reliable than a comparatively priced Ford or Mazda, says Whatcar?.
You can pick up a low-mileage Dacia Sandero for less than £5,000 on Sun Motors. That represents incredible value for anybody’s money.
SEAT Leon
This 2015 SEAT Leon cashes in at £4,495 on Sun Motors
The Mazda MX-5 remains today what it’s always been: a stylish, sporty and affordable convertible car.
The MX-5 is still winning prizes, with the 2023 model named best value sportscar at the 2023 What Car? Awards.
Older models are just as reliable and fun, but as with any convertible, ensure you test the roof mechanism before buying, as it can be expensive to repair or replace.
It’s not exactly cheap, but £10,000 will get you a 4-year old Mazda MX-5 with the powerful 1.5l petrol engine pushing out 130 bhp. Older models can still come in at under £5K if you shop around.

Best used cars of 2024
Here are the top five best used cars under five grand in 2024:
Toyota Auris Hybrid
Honda CR-V
Mini Convertible
Skoda Octavia
Audi TT
The best-used car deals of 2024 are a mixed bag, with small city cars like the Toyota Auris rubbing shoulders with family classics like the Skoda Octavia and sport favourite the Audi TT.
You’ll notice that all these cars are established models, with cars like the Mini on sale since 2000 and the Audi TT since 1998. This matters because manufacturers will have ironed out any problems with the early models.
Old doesn’t mean ugly. We reckon the Mini, Audi TT and Honda CR-V are all as stylish today as they were launched.
OK, while the family favourite Skoda Octavia won’t win any fashion awards, it won’t look out of place at the supermarket or school gates.
Running costs, too, are an issue as prices at the pump continue to rise.
As well as impressive fuel economy, essentials like road tax, servicing and spares for popular cars like the Mini and Honda CR-V won’t break the bank, either.
Mini Convertible
This Mini Convertible is currently on sale for £2,496
The Octavia is a real Swiss Army Knife of a motor, an ideal all-rounder, it combines a spacious interior with a “gutsy” engine and miserly fuel economy – making it an ideal family car.
It’s also based on the same platform as the beloved VW Golf, while adding a little bit more room in the back seats and boot.
The model also matches the price of the Mini, with 2004-13 models starting at £1,500 even though it’s a fair bit larger.
Audi TT
This Audi TT is a visual representation of the timelessness of the model – it is currently for sale for £3,750
Ideal for the kind of person who’s after a champagne lifestyle on limited funds, with models from between 2006 and 2014 starting at £2,500 the TT offers a top-notch sports car package at a bargain rate.
The car, named for the Isle of Man TT race, was discontinued last year so grab one while you can before the prices go up.
Honda is famed for the reliability of its SUVs in particular.
Building on the legacy of the legendary Land Cruiser, the CR-V provides a lot of space for very little cost as well as four-wheel drive.
The rear seats can even slide down to add extra boot space, making it a perfect choice for pet owners.
And with 2006-12 examples starting from as little as £3,500 it’s a great bang for buck offering.
Benefits of buying a used car
Here are the five reasons why you could be better off buying a used car:
Lower price = better value: When you buy a used car, you can push your pounds as far as you can, getting better value than buying a new car. You can find models with bigger engines, sporty trims and better specifications.
Cheaper insurance: You’ll typically pay less to insure a used car compared to a new one.cheaper to insure. The exact premium you pay will depend on you, your location and details of any points on your license or previous accidents, but it should be lower.
Reliability: Older cars that have been cared for can be as reliable as new ones. When buying, check out service history and previous MOTs to understand how the car has been cared for.
Lower depreciation: A new car will lose up to 40% of its value in the first year, warns the AA. A used car won’t. In fact, take care of your used car and you can achieve a high return when you come to sell it.
Dealmaking potential: New car dealers don’t like to haggle anymore, but in the used car market there are still deals to be done. You’re often in the strongest position if you’re a cash buyer.
Benefits of buying a car outright vs financing
Here are some of the reasons why it can be better to buy a cheaper used vehicle outright than using finance to buy a new model:
Cash means control: It’s easy to get carried away with financing deals and end up spending more than you planned. When you buy a car with cash or cleared funds, you’re less likely to blow the budget.
No monthly payments: We can’t predict the future, but if you’ve got a finance agreement, you make your monthly payments, whatever happens in your life. Buying a car outright can give you control and confidence in your personal finances.
Freedom to change: When you own your car outright, you can sell it whenever you want. If you and your family need something bigger, smaller, faster or slower, you can sell your current car and buy a new one without any penalties or problems.
Some people worry they’ll be left on their own if a vehicle develops a fault. Before you start your search, learn some of the essential tips when buying a used car.
The good news is that when you buy a used car you’re covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which gives you some protection if the car develops a fault.

KELSEY Parker has broken her silence on reports she is entangled in a ‘shocking secret feud’ with her ex-husband Tom’s The Wanted bandmate Max George.
Tom was just 32 when he was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 before passing away in March 2022.

Kelsey, 34, has just announced she is expecting her third child with new partner tree surgeon Will Lindsay. Speaking exclusively to Fabulous about the alleged ‘strained’ friendship with Max and claims she’s been left ‘deeply hurt’ by him she said:
“There’s no feud on my part. I’m a busy woman. I’ve got two kids. I’m growing a baby. I’ve not got the time for falling out with people and having feuds. It really ain’t a bit of me.”
While the band rallied around Kelsey in the early days and Max even gave a heart-wrenching eulogy at Tom’s funeral in April 2023, they have not remained as close as the years have gone on.
While Kelsey has been dealing with her own grief as well as raising her and Tom’s two kids, Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, Max has had battles of his own.
He had to be fitted with a pacemaker and was so scared he was going to die that he wrote his will.
“We’re both having hard times. Obviously, I wish Max all the wellness in the world, because I wouldn’t want anyone to go through any ill health or anything,” Kelsey added.
“When you’ve lost someone you realise there are much bigger things to get upset [about].
“But there’s no feud on my behalf.”
Meanwhile she revealed that Tom’s other The Wanted bandmates rushed to congratulate her on expecting a baby.
“Jay [McGuinness] was so excited. He can’t wait for the baby and Siva [Kaneswaran] messaged me and congratulated me too, which was nice,” she said.
“Everyone has been really kind and is pleased for me.”
Kelsey is still close to her late husband’s family including his mum, Noreen, who was thrilled by the news that she was expecting.
In an interview last week with OK! Magazine, she said: “We’ve all been through so much together.
“But I’m here and bringing another baby into the world.”
When Tom passed away, his mum Noreen said: ‘Whatever you choose to do, I will support you.’

Tom’s family were equally supportive of her getting together with her new partner, Will, who lost his dad when he was young.
Speaking to Fabulous last month, she said: “I met Will on a night out. We were both out with friends.
“He didn’t know who I was and when I told him about Tom, he was so understanding, it didn’t freak him out.”
While Kelsey admitted she was terrified of the reaction from the public after she announced her new relationship, she felt confident it was the right thing to do, having had Tom’s blessing as well as his family’s.
“When Tom passed away, his mum Noreen said: ‘Whatever you choose to do, I will support you’,” she revealed.
“I’m so close to her and she really likes Will. We Facetime each other all the time and she was down last week with Tom’s dad Nigel.”

1 week agoLatest NewsComments Off on I’m 20 and just got given my first council house for £97 a week – trolls moan their tax pays for my home, but I work too
A YOUNG woman was thrilled to get her own council home but trolls were quick to try and ruin it for her.
Amber Portia, 20, will be moving into her new-build council house soon and took to social media to show it off.
TikTok/@amberleaf444The 20-year-old got herself a council house after just six weeks on the waiting list[/caption]
TikTok/@amberleaf444Amber was trolled for getting her house but she explained why she was a priority[/caption]
The council flat, which was in a newly built property, had a huge bedroom, along with a bathroom with a bath and shower, and an open-plan kitchen and living room.
Amber said: “First look at my council flat as a 20-year-old who lives on their own.”
“Bedroom, massive, really nice daylight in it.
“Sexy little bathroom with a bath, in a new build. Madness!”
There was also a huge airing cupboard for extra storage and an open-planned kitchen and living room.
“Kitchen is absolutely huge,” she continued. “You’ve got space for a washing machine, oven, fridge, freezer, and built-in bins.”
In total Amber said the place would cost her just £97 a week in rent and she was chuffed to start her life in the new home.
But people were quick to try and ruin it for Amber with one writing: “Meanwhile I can’t get one for 6 years.”
Another penned: “For those of us working day in, day out – you’re welcome.”
“I work full time but thank you,” said Amber.
TikTok/@amberleaf444The swanky new-build cost her just £97 a week[/caption]
TikTok/@amberleaf444Now she had to focus on making it her home[/caption]
In another video, Amber explained her situation a little bit more adding that she was a care leaver so the council had to home her.
She said: “As a care leaver, you get a council flat a lot easier than a lot of other people cause they do not want to make you homeless, cause they’re your legal guardian.”
While many stay in care until 18, there is the option to stay until 21, hence Amber has her home now at 20 years old.
She was put on the bidding list and stayed on there for six weeks until she was accepted into her property.
For those complaining they couldn’t get a council house for their family Amber explained that while her new home was gorgeous it wasn’t suitable for children.
How can I get a council house?
To apply for a council home, you need to fill out and hand in an application to your local authority.
To find your local authority, simply use the Government’s council locator tool on its website.
Once you have access to your local council’s website, it should offer you guidelines on how to complete your application.
After applying, you’ll most likely have to join a waiting list.
Bear in mind, even if you are put on a waiting list, this doesn’t guarantee you a council house offer.
Your council should also offer you advice on how to stay in your current home and solve any issues you might have, such as problems with a private landlord or mortgage.
You are eligible to apply for council housing if you are a British citizen living in the UK providing have not lived abroad recently.
Each council has its own local rules about who qualifies to go on the housing register in its area, but it is based on “points” or a “banding” system.
For example, you’re likely to be offered housing first if you:
are homeless
live in cramped conditions
have a medical condition made worse by your current home
are seeking to escape domestic violence
Once you are high enough on a council’s waiting list, it will contact you when a property is available.
Some councils let people apply at the age of 18, while others let you apply even sooner at 16-year-olds.
EU workers and their families and refugees may also be eligible.
A council house is reached through a points system, so depending on your housing needs, you may be considered low priority.
The council will contact you about any available property once you are high enough on the waiting list.
There is no limit on how long you can expect to be on the waiting list.
“It is a third floor flat and it’s a one bed,” she continued.
“It’s massive, it’s lovely for me, but it won’t be suitable for children; it won’t be suitable for older people because of the stairs.
“It’s very subject to your situation.”
Despite some of the negative comments on the video shared to her TikTok account @amberleaf444 many congratulated Amber on her home.
One person wrote: “People can be so negative without even considering a person’s situation. Happy you now have your own safe little haven!”
Another commented: “Perfect flat, so much potential, hope you will be very happy there.”
“Congrats, it’s a lovely looking place, hope you get settled in quickly and enjoy your space,” penned a third.

BONNIE Blue has lifted the lid on the viral video which saw a young man dragged from the queue to bonk her.
The OnlyFans model recently made headlines as she claimed to havebroken the world recordby “bedding 1,057 men in 12 hours”.
InstagramBonnie Blue has revealed what really happened when a man was dragged out from her bonk-a-thon[/caption]
tiktok/bonnie blueThe moment the furious mother was threatening the teenage son to call the police[/caption]
TikTok/@bonnieblue_xoxBonnie Blue beat the world record by sleeping with 1,057 men in 12 hours[/caption]
In one viral video from the night, a mother can be seen telling her son to get his clothes and leave before she calls the police.
The awkward incident was captured on film where the furious mother confronted her son during the event in London earlier this month.
”Put your clothes on otherwise I’ll get the police to come for you. Put on your clothes now and come out. Come out of here now,” the mum demanded in the video.
She then threatened to dial the police number again, as another man in the sickening queue told her: ”He’s coming. He’s lost his coat.”
The mother could be seen berating the son, as the same man asked her to stop shouting inside the historic mansion based in an exclusive area.
The woman, whose face has been blurred, added the son’s behaviour was ”unacceptable”, before continuing with the threats to ”get the police to come for him”.
But now Bonnie has claimed what really happened behind the scenes speaking to an Australian breakfast radio show Sea.FM.
Asked about the viral video, the host said: “There’s a story about a mum who turned up there and she noticed her son in the line and dragged him out of the line. So you could have had 1,058.”
But Bonnie revealed he had already done the deed at that point.
Afternoon Tea
She said: “Well, no, I did actually sleep with him. I took his virginity, people have got the story mixed up.
“So she was there for hours whilst her son queued. Her son then took part and was in the room.
“And the video you might have seen online, the reason he is looking for his coat is because he was already undressed. He’s already done the business.”
Instagram/bonnie_blue_xoxShe revealed they gave the mum snacks and drinks while her son was upstairs[/caption]
She also alleged that he brought his mum along to her bonk-a-thon, saying: “He brought his mom to the event.
“I don’t think she understood what the event was. I think he had said, ‘oh, there’s something I want to go to. There’s an event I want to take part in.’ But she wasn’t fully aware of what the event was.
“We offered her a drink, snacks and on the whole, she had quite a good day.”
The radio clip had been shared on Instagram and people were furious the breakfast show had the sex worker on.
One person wrote: “Breakfast radio too, what an absolute disgrace this station is.”
Another commented: “This is absolutely appalling, so many things have been close to crossing the line with this show lately but this was disgusting. Not appropriate at all for this time slot.”
Who is Bonnie Blue?
Born in May 1999, Bonnie – whose real name is Tia Billinger – grew up in a small Derbyshire village, and attended the Friesland School in the village of Sandiacre.
She has two half-siblings – a sister and a brother – who have always remained out of the public eye.
She never knew her biological father, and considers stepfather Nicholas Elliott her dad.
Bonnie also became something of a dance star in her local area, and competed in the British Street Dance Championships alongside her sister back in 2015.
She also had a part-time job at Poundstretcher as a teenager.
After school, she began working in recruitment.
In October 2022, Bonnie married Oliver Davidson, who she had started dating when she was just 15.
Once they were married, they moved to Australia, where Bonnie continued working in recruitment.
However, it was in Australia that she decided to pursue a different line of work, and tried her luck as a ‘cam girl’ – crediting Oliver for giving her the confidence to enter the adult entertainment world.
She quickly made a name for herself in the industry, and was soon making £5,000 a week.
But while her work life was going from strength to strength, her relationship was crumbling, and she and Oliver split after almost a decade together.
She moved over to OnlyFans following her cam girl success, and once again found fame on there.
She quickly became a favourite on the site, especially thanks to her “niche” of sleeping with young male students – such as when she bedded 158 students during Nottingham Trent University’s freshers week in September 2024.
Bonnie is now estimated to be worth £3 million, and makes around £600,000 a month on OnlyFans.
Her family are also supportive of her work, with mum Sarah Billinger even claiming she’s her daughter’s PA, and helps clean up after Bonnie’s events – as well as handing out condoms to young clients.
In January 2025, Bonnie claimed to have broken the world record for the most amount of sex in 12 hours, after apparently sleeping with 1,057 men from 1pm to 1am at a secret London event.
“I have a nineteen-year-old son and him and his mates think she’s hideous. They laugh at her. And the men who queue up,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “If she wants to sleep with 1000 men that’s her life. No one needs to hear about it, or even cares what she does.”
After her bonk-a-thon, Bonnie said: “Thank you to all the dads, sons, grandads and husbands that helped make this possible.”
TikTok creator Beavo, whose real name is Brandon Beavis, who captured the mother and son argument claimed the son later told his mother: ”I’m 19 I can do what I want. I’ve signed the consent form so.”
Sharing her experience after bonking hundreds of guys in just 12 hours, the 25-year-old blonde revealed she wasn’t feeling any negative side effects.
”I was expecting to wake up today needing to take painkillers – but I actually haven’t whatsoever.
”And I’m the first to usually take if I’ve got a bit of a headache.
”I was expecting to be sore but I’m not, which is good cause that just means I can do this more often,” said the notorious OnlyFans model who was ”ready for round two”.
According to Bonnie, who’s been banned from Australia where she planned to romp with teen school leavers, there were rules put in place the 1,057 partners had to follow during their brief encounters.
Delving into the nitty-gritty of her profession on Brogan Garrit Smith’s ‘Getting There’ podcast, the controversial adult star first explained that clients had to use protection.
However, there was an exception for fellow OnlyFans creators, who were instead required to exchange recent STD test results before any encounter.
Bonnie said: “If you are an OnlyFans creator, you have to have a full STD text, and we’d have to show each other the results.”
The blonde revealed she maintains a meticulous record of her partners’ contact details, ensuring she can reach out if an STD ever crops up.
There’s another rule they had follow – which involved having their picture taken and filling out forms.
Bonnie explained: “So I’d come downstairs and ask if you’d got your ID with you.
“Once you confirm you have, I’ll take you upstairs. I’d show you the consent forms you’d have to fill out, and I would take photos of your ID and of you holding your ID.”

1 week agoLatest NewsComments Off on Girl, 8, left to die by cult who SANG as she lay dying instead of giving her lifesaving insulin as ‘God would heal her’
AN EIGHT-year-old girl was left to die by her cult family who sang and prayed around her instead of providing lifesaving insulin.
Fourteen of the religious fanatics, including her parents, have been convicted over Elizabeth Struh’s death, after they believed “God would heal her”.
GoFundMeElizabeth Struhs died from a diabetes-related complication after he family withheld life-saving insulin[/caption]
Supreme Court of QueenslandDad Jason Struhs spoke to police about his daughters final hours[/caption]
Queensland PoliceCops arrived at the house to find a large group of people singing and praying around the body[/caption]
The three-family cult, from Toowoomba, near Brisbane, east Australia, has been found guilt of manslaughter after withholding insulin from the dying girl – who they had known had diabetes.
The maniacs formed a ring around her bed, singing and hallelujah-ing even after she had stopped breathing – expecting she would rise from the dead.
Justice Martic Burns, handing out the verdicts, said Elizabeth’s death was “inevitable” as the group refused any medical help during her six-day decline.
He continued: “Due to a singular belief in the healing power of God which, to the minds of her parents and the other members of the Church left no room for recourse to any form of medical care or treatment, she was deprived of the one thing that would most definitely have kept her alive – insulin.”
Her father Jason Stuhs is seen on police bodycam footage the day after Elizabeth died defending his actions and saying he is “happy for her”.
The deluded dad told Detective Sergeant Sharny O’Brien: “So on Monday, she decided she’d had enough, so I haven’t given her insulin since Monday.
“And yesterday she fell asleep and passed away.
“The world can’t heal her because she’s got to do it for her whole life, and she wanted to have a go without insulin.
“So this is where we ended up.”
Elizabeth was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes in 2019.
But at the end of November 2021, she became severely unwell with diabetic ketoacidosis – a complication caused by a lack of insulin.
A central belief of the group was the healing power of God, the court heard, and they considered normal medicine to be “witchcraft” – so they would not give her insulin.
On January 2, 2022, Elizabeth’s father, Jason Struhs, declared to the church that “God had healed Elizabeth of her diabetes”, according to Burns’ written ruling.
That night, Elizabeth had her last dose of slow-acting insulin.
Mum Kerrie Struhs joined the cult and became obsessed with the teachings of Brendan StevensEPAThe courtroom was adjusted so that all fourteen defendants, sketched here, could be tried together[/caption]
Her normal blood tests the next morning convinced Jason that God had healed his daughter, the ruling said.
Jason told his daughter to get rid of her monitoring equipment because she didn’t need it anymore – with the rest of the group lauding the “miraculous” progress.
Over the next four days, the cult took turns watching over the dying little girl.
The updated one another via text, noting that Elizabeth was “restless”, “fairly weak” and vomiting.
The spiritual leader, Brendan Stevens, repeatedly assured Elizabeth’s parents that “God shall prevail” – even after the girl had died.
One chilling text between the members read: “Elizabeth does not appear to be breathing apparently, but we will see a victory very soon. God can do anything!”
The court recorded that Jason finally called an ambulance 36 hours after his daughter had withered away, explaining that “though God would still raise Elizabeth, they could not leave a corpse in the house”.
Cops set up a crime scene when they arrived.
One detective told the court she arrived to find about 20 people in the front yard singing, playing music and praying.
APJayde Struhs, Elizabeth’s older sister, said she was ‘relieved’ by the guilty verdict[/caption]
7newsDad Jason was originally charged with murder but ultimately convicted of manslaughter[/caption]
Burns said that Elizabeth was a “vibrant, happy child” who was “lovingly cared for […] and adored” by all members of the church -including those convicted.
Her family was one of three that formed a tight-knit religious sect, meeting three times a week.
Jason joined the church in August 2021, following his wife Kerrie Struhs, and both became spellbound by the religious teachings of leader Brendan Stevens.
The group considered itself Christian and followed the Bible.
They believed that through prayer a person could receive the Holy Spirit, which would allow them to speak in tongues.
Jason and Brendan were initially originally charged with murder, but the judge found them guilty instead of manslaughter because he could not be sure the “knew Elizabeth would probably die”.
All fourteen members accused had refused to enter a plea, which was officially interpreted as not guilty.
When invited to make an opening statement at the start of the trial, Brendan told the court his church was a victim of “religious persecution.”
Outside court after the verdict, Elizabeth’s older sister, Jayde Struhs, told reporters she was “relieved” that the group had been found guilty.
She said: “It’s been a long and hard three years. Not a moment has gone by that I haven’t thought about my little sister, Elizabeth.”
All 14 found guilty will be sentenced on February 11.

The soap opera actress and singer – who became a mother for the third time two years ago – made the claim after opening up about how she had been able to keep a high sex drive after entering menopause.
She boasted of owning 17 vibrators in an interview with Portuguese television program Goucha, before making the scandalous disclosure.
In the interview she promoted her play Menopausia (Menopause) whilst stressing the importance of sex toys and masturbation.
“Toys help a lot. Today, vibrators are considered toys that require a doctor’s prescription,” she added.
Referring to the controversial gift to her daughter, Raia said: “When she turned 12, I gave her a vibrator,”
After giving the toy to her daughter she said: “Go investigate yourself, you’ll find out what you like.”
The revelation ignited public backlash on social media, causing online critics to blast her reckless parenting.
One Instagram user said that she didn’t “respect the innocence of children”.
Another commented that the dirty gift was “ridiculous and unnecessary”.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, disgusted users turned against her, with one account saying: “Claudia Raia is very clueless.”
Another added: “In the past mothers gave dolls.”
Raia then backtracked on her comments on Wednesday, posting Instagram stories explaining that her comments had been misinterpreted.

She said in the post: “I have always encouraged open dialogue with my children about all topics, including sex education, in a respectful and age-appropriate manner.
“As a mother, my priority has always been to create an environment of trust and information.
“However, I understand that each family has its own way of dealing with these issues, and I respect that.”
According to Brazilian news outlet Metropoles, Minas Gerais Congresswoman Critstiano Caporezzo filed a police report with the São Paulo Civil Police – on the grounds that Raia violated Article 241-D of the Children and Adolescents Statute by “exposing inappropriate content to minors.”
Raia has previously said that she faced backlash for her decision to become a mother in 2023 when she was 56 years old.
Her daughter Sophia, who is now 22 years old and a mother, has not commented on the policeinvestigation.
Claudia Raia’s eldest child Enzo, aged 27, is a social media influencer.
Sex therapist Tamara Zanotelli said Raia’s decision to gift her 12-year-old child a vibrator was concerning.
“People are increasingly willing to understand the role of vibrators beyond pleasure,” Zanotelli said.
“That’s why there are even cases of doctors recommending their use.
“But if we think about a mother giving her 12-year-old daughter a vibrator, there are other issues.”
Zanotelli also said that whilst many girls can start to understand sexuality before they become a teenager, providing the sex toy at such a young age was very troubling.
