Ekin-Su accused of ‘fake meltdown’ on Love Island All Stars as fans spot ‘crocodile tears’ and say ‘Davide was right!’

EKIN-SU left Love Island viewers stunned tonight when she wailed over Curtis during an epic meltdown – but didn’t produce any tears.

Viewers shared memes on X of her first time in the Love Island villa, when Davide branded her “a liar and an actress!” in now infamous scenes.

Davide famously accused Ekin-Su of being ‘a liar, actress!’ in her first villa apperance

Tonight, tensions flared when Curtis told Ekin-Su he didn’t want to talk his night in the Hideaway with bombshell Danielle.

Ekin-Su insisted they hash it out and said she already knew what he was going to say: that their relationship was over.

Curtis then accused her of not being authentic, a comment that left Ekin-Su furious.

But it seems that viewers agreed with him, after she appeared to break down in tears to Ronnie and later to her pal Luca.

One said: “Ekin Su now, crying without tears” as another swiped: “fake crying without tears man. Davide was right all along!”

Another said: “Oh please Ekin was “crying” yet not a single tear was seen”

In bizarre scenes, the pair eventually opened up about wanting to speak to their parents for support before unexpectedly kissing and making up.

The emotional roller coaster left islanders stunned, with Casey even jokingly taking a picture, calling it a “random, weird 10 minutes” and saying it was “one for the memories.”

But while some viewers sympathised with Ekin-Su, others weren’t convinced, with some accusing her of using her acting skills for dramatic effect.

Meanwhile, Curtis later told Casey and Luca that he had “something quite deep” with Ekin-Su and admitted he liked her, while Ekin-Su confided in Elma and Tina that she needed to learn to trust Curtis.

Two rushed to hospital after car hits oncoming vehicle on N25 in Cork as witnesses tell of ‘absolutely terrifying’ crash

TWO people were rushed to hospital today after a motorist drove the wrong way up a motorway and crashed into an oncoming car.

Gardai are investigating all of the circumstances which led to the incident, which took place at around 3pm on the eastbound side of the N25, the main highway between Cork city and East Cork.

Traffic jam on a highway.
Motorists were stuck in a massive traffic jam after the incident

Motorists were stuck in a massive traffic jam which went on for miles for several hours as emergency services tried to clear the collision.

A man and a woman were rushed by ambulances to Cork University Hospital, where they are tonight being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The dual carriageway was closed for a lengthy period between the exits for Little Island and Cobh.

Eventually as the traffic stretched for several kilometres through the Jack Lynch Tunnel and out to Wilton, with traffic coming out of the city also completely disrupted.

On Cork Safety Alerts Facebook page motorists told of their horror at seeing one car travelling at speed the wrong way towards Cork city on the eastbound section of the motorway, which has a speed limit of 120km/h.

One man said: “My wife is lucky to be alive. He was coming straight towards her.”

Another motorist reported a “silver Ford Focus going the wrong way. A load of us had to swerve to avoid. I hope everyone involved is OK, scary sight”.

A woman said: “We passed them too. Cars were beeping and flashing lights but they kept going. Absolutely terrifying.”

Another worried woman said: “I just passed the accident from Carrigtwohill to Little Island. Very very bad – traffic blocked everywhere.. May God have mercy.”

Another motorist reported being stuck in traffic for 40 minutes. She counted four ambulances, three fire brigades, Garda cars and paramedics at the scene.

GARDA STATEMENT

Others were shocked by the extent of damage to the two cars involved in the accident.

Many of those commenting condemned the fact that other motorists were filming on their phones the car driving the wrong way down the motorway, stressing how dangerous it was.

In previous incidents gardai have appealed to people not to do this and if they do, not to share it on social media.

In a statement, gardai said: “Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the N25 Eastbound near Cobh Cross, Co. Cork this afternoon, Thursday 30 January 2025.

“The collision involving two cars occurred shortly before 3:00pm.

“The drivers of both vehicles, a male and a female, were conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment of injuries, not believed to be life-threatening at this time.

“The road has since reopened to traffic.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

RTE First Dates Ireland viewers all say same thing as Cavan man, 46, breaks down in tears and meets ‘perfect’ match

RTE First Dates Ireland viewers were all left gushing after a contestant broke down in tears before he found his “perfect” match.

The pair made a connection straight away as they realised they had mutual friends.

Derek spoke about his previous relationship, which ended over six years ago, and explained how he was engaged but it didn’t work out and they broke up six months before the wedding.

While Karen opened up about feeling “worthless” after the end of her previous relationship.

She said: “It was a horrible spiral downward time. I did some things I’m not proud of and I went through a really bad depression.

“I didn’t want to be here anymore. I had to find my self-worth.”

When Derek was asked, behind the scenes, if he ever feels lonely, he choked up and was left in tears as he replied: “I suppose when you come home and there’s no one there.

“I genuinely think the cat saved my life. I am happy but there are times where I just want someone there with me. I have a lot of love to give.”

Derek described his date as “perfect”, and they were both wanted to see each other again.

And the laughter continued all the way to Cavan where they continued on their relationship.

RTE viewers all loved watching Derek and Karen’s date and gushed over their love story.

Alan commented: “Derek, I was not prepared for that…”

Eimear tweeted: “Derek is a gentleman.”

One viewer wrote: “The last couple are going to end up getting married. Mark my words.”

Another viewer said: “I need MORE on Karen and Derek.”

Colette added: “Karen and Derek were so cute together.”

PERFECT PAIR

Elsewhere tonight, site foreman and footie fanatic Peter, 33, from Malahide risked a red card as he tested the limits of the offside rule with super chatty healthcare assistant Jade, 30, from Clondalkin.

Peter immediately told Jade she looked “stunning”, before they took a shot of baby Guinness together.

When they sat down for dinner, Peter complimented Jade again and she jokingly replied: “You don’t have to keep licking my a**.”

Jade opened up about being homeless for two years and recalled living in a hotel in Portmarnock and Tallaght.

Speaking to the camera, she said: “It was hard but we got an apartment five years ago and we’re just so happy.”

FUN DATE

Peter and Jade got on like a house on fire and even swapped fruit using their mouths while sitting in the restaurant.

The couple were giddy by the end of the date and both wanted to see each other again.

Meanwhile, musician Noelle, 20, sat down for dinner with super stylish Morgan, 21, from Meath.

Morgan, who was dressed up to the nines wearing a green sequin cut out dress, gave Noelle a little present when she first met her.

‘WOW’

And while the pair didn’t seem to have much in common off the bat, they liked being different and agreed to a second date.

Also tonight, makeup artist Ariana, 23, from Meath put aside her list of ‘icks’ (including “Guys who pose for photos with big fish”) and got to grips with cheeky Venetian wrestler Josh (real name Jose), 23, from Tallaght.

Ariana spoke about her life goals and said she wants to meet someone who loves her as much as she loves them.

She added: “If I met the right person tomorrow I’d have a baby.”

Josh was taken back slightly and said: “Wow.”

Ariana called her mum in the bathroom and said: “Mam… he’s an Italian wrestler. He’s so hot.”

Unfortunately, they didn’t want to see each other romantically again.
