A FIERY Love Island star has blasted contestants for “faking” relationships in the real world in what she dubs “shocking” scenes.
ITV2 show star Diamante Laiva, who entered Love Island 2024 in the Casa Amor stage, has spilled the tea on what really goes down at influencer parties in a lengthy Instagram video.
The businesswoman, 22, stresses to followers she is “just telling you my experience” as she claims some seemingly loved-up show stars “just link up when it’s time to take a picture.”
The beauty – who caused quite the stir when she stepped foot in the villa last year – started her scathing clip with the words: “Disclaimer I’m not bashing anybody.
“I’m not specifically speaking about a particular person.”
She continued: “Nobody likes each other – some of your fan favourites will be excluded from the groups and it’s shocking when you see pictures and the TikTokers doing their videos, they take their pictures and disperse.
“Some of your favourite couples aren’t really couples.
“Liked booed up on the internet and, in real life, the girl will be all the way over there and the guy will be all the way over there for the entire party.
“And they’ll just link up when it’s time to take a picture.”
Diamante set her sights on fellow Islander Sean Stone, 24, during her villa stint.
The pair shared a hot and steamy kiss during her short stint on the show, even though Sean was still coupled up with Matilda Draper, 24.
After a dramatic recoupling where the sweet seller decided to remain with Matilda, a feud erupted between the two females.
During her time in the villa, Diamante also locked horns with Ruby Dale.
And when back in the real world, the beauty clashed with All Stars contestant Liv Hawkins.
As well as lifting the lid on Love Island couples, the Londoner addressed reality TV friendships too.
She said in her cutting clip: “In terms of friendship groups as well, it’s literally like a revolving door.
Love Island All Stars is back on TV for season 2.
Here we take you through the line-up of all the Islanders who are in the villa so far.
Bombshells
Each series brings with it a string of hot single bombshells making their epic entrance into the villa.
Here’s who has joined the villa so far:
“You’ll go and take pictures with this person and you’ll never speak to them again, but in the eyes of the public you’d think those two people are the best of friends.”
Diamante then made clear she was “uncomfortable” at some events and more “aware of surroundings” due to not drinking.
She concluded with a sigh and told her followers: “The people that some of you make famous, damn.”
In her caption, she added: “The described behaviour is not affiliated with the show. This happened at external private parties.”
One fan was quick to remark: “She just spilled all the tea.”
Another posted: “Not shocked,” as a third admitted: “Lovinn these stories.”
One then put: “The things I would do to find out who you’re referencing with some of this.”
AN apparent crew member from Channel 4’s Hunted has defended the show after it was called out for being ‘staged’.
The hit reality show sees celebrities or ordinary members of the public go on the run, attempting to evade professional hunters.
But while fans have been gripped to the latest celeb version, one former crew member has seemingly exposed the show.
Taking to a web forum, the unnamed staffer insisted the Channel 4 game isn’t scripted at all and taken seriously by bosses.
However, some elements are ‘faked’ including CCTV and ANPR, according to the former production member.
They explained: “What happens is the crew member that is with the fugitives will report back to production when they use their bank card, drive on a motorway etc, and then production will notify the hunters.
“This is so there’s no wasting police time or anything. CCTV footage used in the show is also normally just a GoPro on a boom pole, as they don’t have access to the real stuff, or the rights to use it.”
A Hunted spokesperson told The Sun: “As is made clear at the top of each programme, we research and accurately replicate the modern powers-of-the-state such as CCTV, ANPR and mobile phone use to ensure Hunted is as authentic as possible.
“All replicated powers are in the public domain. The Fugitives must follow a strict set of rules that are designed to reflect what many real-world fugitives do when on an extended period of being on the run.
“During the hunt there is absolutely no contact between Hunters and Fugitives, and we never interfere to influence the outcome.”
One Hunted fan conceded the show isn’t scripted, but slammed bosses for making the editing look like it’s staged.
They wrote: “Watch the earlier series and you’ll see just how much the editing has changed, they no longer show as much of the detective work.
“In earlier series they mention the CCTV clip of fugitive X was from two days ago so they knew X was in the area, now they make it appear as they are getting CCTV live from private systems.”
However, another poster slammed the show altogether, supposedly revealing what their friend was ‘forced’ to do while taking part.
They said: “The producers continually forced him to do stupid things like go into city centres, or try and get on the radio, with the threats of if he didn’t, just telling the hunters his location.
“He also had to do things like take cash out of cash points a certain number of times, and move on from a safe location within 24 hours.”
Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed Hunted would return for an eight series.
Applications are currently open and bosses are looking for civilian pairs to go on the run.
Hunted is available to stream on Channel 4.
HUNTED has been delighting Channel 4 viewers since 2015. Yet who are the winners of the long-running reality TV series?
