Molly-Mae admits she ‘wanted to run away from everything’ & feels ‘anxious’ because of change in fans since documentary

MOLLY-MAE Hague has admitted she wanted to ‘run away from everything’ whilst filming her Prime Video docuseries.

The mum-of-one, 25, also opened up on feeling ‘anxious’ and confessed to being in her ‘overthinking era’ after the recent release of the first three episodes of her new documentary.

The Filter founder opened up on how her social media activity has changed since a shift in fan reaction after the first three episodes[/caption]

In her latest vlog, which was uploaded to YouTube just 15 hours ago, the Filter founder, who lives in a huge £3.5million mansion with her two-year-old daughter Bambi, gave fans a close-up look at her recent £1,5000 trip to St. Moritz, Switzerland.

But before showing off the stunning outfits she wore and snowstorms she faced on the ‘work trip’, the blonde beauty confessed: “I feel like I’m overthinking everything that I post, say or do at the minute.

“I’m very much in my overthinking era.

“It’s basically since the documentary has come out, everything I post and do, I’m just getting used to posting normally again.”

The Love Island star turned businesswoman, who broke up with Tommy Fury, 25, last August, then acknowledged: “I have to, from the bottom of my heart, say a huge thank you. I still cannot get over the response.

“I have had the weight of the world lifted off my shoulders since the documentary went live.”

The Maebe founder then got candid and explained: “I’ve got to be completely honest with you, I’ve had moments over the last six months of filming, I really had moments where I just wanted to run away from everything.

“I didn’t feel like I had the strength, I didn’t feel like I had the confidence to talk vulnerably.

“It’s so different for me and as much as I show you guys a lot over here, obviously on the documentary you guys saw so much more than I’ve ever spoken about, shown, delved into.

“It was quite against the grain for me. I’ve always controlled what I share so much and whilst I obviously was in control of what I said and did, I was letting go of the control in that I was giving it over to Amazon.

“[Amazon] have been the most unbelievable team, I’ve loved working with them so much.

“It’s not been easy but it made it so much easier for me.”

Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury's split

After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split up in August 2024.

At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ‘ I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.

An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him ‘a dad’.

The real reason they split emerges and on Thursday, August 15 The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae learned Tommy had cheated on her – leading to an explosive showdown.

On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.

Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.

The blonde beauty, who previously found herself at the heart of BBL rumours, beamed at the response from the series, as she added: “All I know is that it’s done really well. I can’t get over it.

“I’m so glad I made the decision to do it. The response has shown that it was worth it. I’m so happy.

Ever since the documentary has come out, I guess I do feel anxious with everything that I’m putting out

“I’m literally still on cloud nine, I still can’t really process it.

“It’s because of you guys that the documentary was possible.”

Molly-Mae's glow-down from ‘glamour model’ to ‘yummy mummy’

Celebrity PR Expert, Ed Hopkins told Fabulous: “I believe Molly-Mae Hague‘s new look is more than just a style change but a powerful statement of who she is becoming.

“It underscores her journey towards authenticity, maturity, and sophistication and is likely to enhance her success and influence in the years to come.”

Brand and Culture Expert Nick Ede agreed, and told Fabulous: “Molly-Mae has transformed herself into a yummy mummy who has ditched the glamour model style for a more relaxed and natural look.

“She’s becoming more down to earth and relatable to people and cleverly showing a softer side which will win her legions more fans in the process.”

According to Ed Hopkins, Molly-Mae’s chic new look could be “highly lucrative” for the star.

Ed told Fabulous: “Molly-Mae Hague’s transformation towards a more natural, chic look seems to be a testament to her personal growth and evolving style.

“This change, which has become more pronounced since she became a mother, appears to reflect her journey towards embracing authenticity and sophistication.

“It’s possible that this new image could be highly lucrative for Molly-Mae.

“Her chic, understated style might appeal to a wider audience, including more mature demographics and high-end brands, potentially opening up lucrative endorsement deals and partnerships.

“By adopting a more elegant look, she seems to align herself with premium and luxury brands that favour natural beauty and sophistication, which could lead to higher-paying collaborations.

“Additionally, with consumers increasingly valuing authenticity and natural beauty, her new image could be both timely and marketable.”

Nick Ede agreed and told Fabulous: “She has started to promote some really great luxury brands including the cosmetics brand Tatcha and with her laid back look she will make a lot of money from brands looking to align with her.”

Ed also noted that Molly-Mae’s transformation may be a sign that she is looking to step away from her reality show past.

He continued: “Molly-Mae’s transformation also seems to symbolise her desire even more so to well and truly step out of the shadow of her Love Island persona.

“The shift to a more mature and unique style appears to demonstrate her growth and her wish to be seen as an individual beyond her reality TV beginnings.

“By shedding the bold, flashy look associated with her time on Love Island, she might be rebranding herself as a serious businesswoman and influencer who is carving out her own identity.

“This new look helps her stand out in the crowded influencer market, showcasing her as a trendsetter with a distinctive, refined aesthetic.”

Nick agreed and claimed: “Shedding the flash looks she previously went for, she’s also detaching herself from the Love Island stereotype and stepping out as her own person with a cool look that’s not flashy but totally on trend.

“Gone are the ‘look at me’ posts and in are family style posts and trend led fashion statements.”

But despite this, the influencer, who has 1.9million subscribers on YouTube, drew attention to the change she has noticed amongst her fans, as she said: “As for the vlog, I’m really overthinking it.

“Ever since the documentary has come out, I guess I do feel anxious with everything that I’m putting out.”

After the star, who recently got emotional as she spoke after her first festive season as a single mother, told fans she will take the same picture 1,000 times and “still won’t like it”, she continued: “I keep getting messages like ‘since the documentary, I look at your stories and think – how many times did it take for her to take this picture?’.

“I don’t know why, people are picking things apart slightly more now.”

‘Beast of Birkenhead’s’ plea after ‘confessing’ to murder of mutilated barmaid 39 YEARS ago – as DNA blows case open

A CONVICTED murderer imprisoned for nearly 40 years after confessing to mutilating a barmaid has professed his innocence amid “new” DNA evidence.

Peter Sullivan, then-aged 29, dubbed the “Beast of Birkenhead” was sentenced to life in prison in 1987 for the murder of florist Diane Sindall, 21, with a crowbar in Bebington, Merseyside.

Now, new DNA evidence has helped Sullivan’s murder conviction to be referred to the Court of Appeal, following his application to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) in 2021.

Diane’s brutal death took place in late summer of 1986 after she had left work at the Wellington Hotel one Friday evening.

She had been working shifts at the venue to help pay for her upcoming wedding to her childhood sweetheart.

However, little did she know her shift on 1 August, 1986, would tragically be her last.

Around 15 minutes into her short journey home, the part-time barmaid ran out of fuel, coming to a stop near a roundabout in Birkenhead.

She was left with no choice but to grab her jerry can from the back of her Fiat Fiorino van and walk to the nearest petrol station.

Witnesses say they saw Diane stop the vehicle at around 11.45pm and she was dressed in a white top with black spots, jeans, green high-heeled shoes and was carrying a handbag.

Despite walking along the busy and well-lit Borough Road, the young woman met her untimely demise on this path.

At some point shortly after midnight, Diane was savagely beaten to death, with her half-naked, mutilated and assaulted body left discarded in an alleyway.

Bus driver Gary Lamb told police he had spotted her at 0.03am just before a bus stop.

She had also reportedly been seen at 0.10am by a taxi driver who saw a woman struggling and arguing with a man – he added they appeared to know each other.

Diane’s body was only discovered around 12 hours later on Saturday by a woman walking her dog having been beaten around her face, head, and body.

Despite having multiple fractures, her bra and t-shirt pulled up around her neck, and her jeans, shoes, underwear, and handbag all missing, Diane was still wearing her diamond engagement ring.

Merseyside Police then launched its largest ever murder inquiry to hunt for the killer, also nicknamed “The Wolfman” for the bite marks found on Diane’s body.

Sullivan was a petty criminal with a string of convictions who had also spent time in a youth detention centre when he was a teenager, although he had no history of sexual violence.

The unemployed labourer had a reputation of being an attention-seeking character and was charged with Diane’s murder following a “confession”.

However, he later retracted this and claimed it was made under duress from police but this did not stop him being convicted of murder at Liverpool Crown Court and jailed for life in November 1987.

‘GRIEVOUS MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE’

Sullivan has continuously maintained his innocence, with new DNA evidence meaning he could potentially be exonerated in what could be one of the “most grievous miscarriages of justice to date.”

The CCRC has said that Sullivan’s application in March 2021 raised concerns about his interviews by police, bitemark evidence presented in his trial, and what was said to be the murder weapon.

It then obtained DNA evidence from samples taken at the time of the offence, which were then proven to not match Sullivan’s.

Following this, the CCRC sent his case back to the courts and it has been referred to the Court of Appeal.

An investigation by The Mail on Sunday found alleged behaviour by some CID officers in Merseyside Police during the late 1980s and early 1990s, including giving suspects a “good banging” in order to get a confession, to be routine.

On top of this, there are “disturbing” claims that Sullivan was initially denied legal representation and the support of an “appropriate adult” to act in his best interests, as he was a person of “limited intellectual capacity”.

A 2019 appeal directly to the High Court by Sullivan was backed by a leading forensic dentists that cast serious doubts over the “reliability” of the bite mark evidence used.

It also called on a consultant psychologist that highlighted Sullivan’s “limited intellectual capacity and suggestibility”, which gave rise to concerns that he could have been forced into his confession during police interviews.

While this was rejected by the Court of Appeal on the basis that the bite marks evidence was “not central to his conviction”, the CCRC has now said this evidence may be crucial.

Now, the Court of Appeal has the power to quash Sullivan’s conviction and potentially end his near four decades of prison-time.

While he waits for his case to be heard, Merseyside Police has said it has reopened its investigation into the “Beast of Birkenhead”, with some of the original witnesses in the case being re-interviewed.

Lossiemouth appeared OK after her dramatic fall and Willie Mullins said Cheltenham should, all being well, remain the plan

Her capsizing almost brought down State Man too, but Paul Townend swerved him out of trouble just in time and strolled to victory.

Lossiemouth’s jockey Danny Mullins was seen clutching his arm immediately after the devastating fall.

Fortunately he was deemed well enough to ride again in the next race while Lossiemouth was up on her feet and seemingly well too.

Mullins has insisted they have been training Lossiemouth for the Champion Hurdle for the past two years.

She breezed to victory in last year’s Mares’ Hurdle after winning the Triumph the previous year.

Armed with her 7lb mares’ allowance, she was expected to serve it up to odds-on fav Constitution Hill in their showdown next month.

And Mullins said that remains the plan, even though Nicky Henderson’s stable star got the better of her in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton.

He told Racing TV: “Unless she’s injured, nothing changes.

“Unless Rich thinks differently we’re happy to go for the Champion Hurdle.”

Bookies pushed Lossiemouth out to as big as 5-1 after yesterday’s fall.

Constitution Hill is as short as 1-2 while Gordon Elliott – rocked by the news Gerri Colombe is out for the season – has 2-1 second-fav Brighterdaysahead.

But it looks like the Gigginstown-owned mare – who thrashed State Man when last seen – will head to the Mares’ Hurdle.

The exact amount of time Brits REALLY spend in the sack revealed – so how does your sex life compare?

A NEW study has revealed the average time Brits really spend in the sack – so, how does YOUR relationship match up?

After years of being seen as a taboo subject, researchers at Illicit Encounters have finally lifted the lid on thousands of people’s sex lives across the country – and turns out, quickies are getting even shorter.

Couple kissing in bed.
Getty
Brits are most likely to get frisky between 8pm and 11pm, known as ‘the norm’[/caption] Illustration ranking the best times to have sex, based on time of day, duration, and score.

The poll of 2,000 people uncovered that the length of time couples spend sleeping together varies depending on the specific time of day and place they are.

Unsurprisingly, Brits are most likely to get frisky between 8pm and 11pm, known as ”the norm”, and typical nookie will last just 5 minutes and 24 seconds.

Meanwhile the average bonk for the entire country is less than 5 minutes long – with the average romp taking a mere 4 minutes and 38 seconds.

The study also found that quickies had become even quicker in the last year, dropping to a shocking 120 seconds in 2024, compared to 150 seconds in 2023 –  which represents half a minute of passionate love making lost.

A decade ago, the average quickie lasted 180 seconds.

The two-minute romp usually take place between 10am and 3pm, the survey showed.

That compares with a longer 4mins 10secs of steamy passion during a morning lay-in before work from 6am to 10am.

Couples also like to have a cheeky lunchtime romp — usually between 12pm and 2.30pm — dedicating around 4mins 30secs of their break for bedroom antics.

Afternoon nookies — from 2.30pm to 5pm — stretch to 5mins 4secs.

Just as couples get home, the average romp from 5pm-7pm lasts 5m 10s and takes place in the bedroom, kitchen, or even bathroom.

The most common time for Brits to get frisky is between 8pm-11pm, with the pre-sleep romp lasting 5m 24s.

However, if you want to make the passionate love making last hat little longer, you may want to consider waiting until just after midnight.

Jessica Leoni, a sex and relationship guru at Illicit Encounters said the study showed that although quickies were in their very nature ”quick” – they were a vital spark in a relationship.

She said: ”It seems Brits like their romps like they like their tea – quick, satisfying, and at all hours of the day!

”While the ‘afternoon antics’ take the crown, the humble quickie is clearly standing the test of time – albeit getting even speedier.

”Perhaps we’re all just busier than ever, or maybe we’ve perfected the art of efficiency.

”Either way, whether it’s a pre-work perk-up or a lunchtime love-in, one thing’s for sure – Britain is definitely bonking around the clock!”

Favourite time of the week to get jiggy

Another recent study found it’s Saturday that’s the favourite day for people to have sex, with the majority enjoying a pre-sleep romp at 10.09pm, Daily Mail reported.

”It is the weekend evenings that seem to be the most popular time for people to feel at their most relaxed and ready to enjoy time with their partner,” said Marina Nicoli, Marketing Manager at Pour Moi.

The data revealed that Saturday is the favourite day for many people to get jiggy, with a staggering 43 per cent saying this is their preferred day for bedroom antics.

This was followed by Friday (22 per cent), Sunday (10 per cent), Thursday (six per cent), Wednesday (five per cent), Tuesday (four per cent), and Monday (two per cent).

Meanwhile, when it comes to the ideal time to bonk, late-night hours were found to dominate.

More than a third said they prefer to romp between 22:00 and 00:00, with 80 per cent agreeing that the ”sweet spot” is specifically 22:09.

The second most popular window of time for some action was between 20:00 and 22:00 (27 per cent).

The least sexy time proved to be the early hours of the morning, with only a mere four per cent choosing to engage in the activity between 06:00 and 08:00.

What Arsenal’s win over Man City means for title race as Premier League supercomputer predicts final table

ARSENAL’S vengeful demolition of Manchester City might not mean much for the Premier League title race come May.

That is according to the latest supercomputer predictions.

The Gunners put in a superb performance over hapless City as they ran out 5-1 winners in a spiky showdown at the Emirates on Sunday.

Erling Haaland cancelled out Martin Odegaard‘s opener before Thomas Partey hit and teenagers Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri scored either side of Kai Havertz.

But the goals told half the story as Gabriel screamed into Haaland’s face at 1-0 and Lewis-Skelly brutally mimicked the Norwegian’s meditation celebration.

Haaland bit back by showing the home fans his golden Prem badge on his City shirt, before dad Alfie trolled Arsenal on X.

The win has Arsenal fans dreaming of a title push as they moved within six points of Prem leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand against Merseyside rivals Everton pending.

But the CasinoHawks’ number-crunching machine thinks Arne Slot’s side will run away with the Premier League.

The AI calculator believes Liverpool win finish a huge NINE points above Mikel Arteta’s chasing men in a boring two-horse race.

It is predicted that Liverpool will win 29, draw six and lose just three to finish on 93 points – six shy of Jurgen Klopp’s title winning 2019-2020 season.

While Arsenal are forecast to lose two more games and finish second for the third consecutive year.

And the AI boffins have Nottingham Forest finishing third to record their best-ever Prem finish on 74 points, 10 behind Arsenal.

Meanwhile, seven-time champs City, who are suffering by their standards, are set to finish inside the top-four and qualify for the Champions League next season.

That would be Pep Guardiola’s lowest-ever finish in the English top-flight since he took over the reigns at the Etihad nine years ago.

But rivals Manchester United have it far worse after losing 2-0 to Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The miserable Red Devils are predicted to finish 12th after equalling a humiliating 132-year home record.

That would be the lowest the iconic club have EVER finished in the league since its inception in 1992.

Illustration of a Premier League table for the 2024-25 season.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth and Newcastle are set to beat Chelsea for Europa League qualification, as the Blues might be forced to play Conference League football for consecutive seasons.

Fulham (61) take eighth with Aston Villa (61) ninth, both ahead of Brentford (50) and Brighton (48).

While Tottenham, who finished fifth last year before being decimated by injuries this term, could finish a lowly SIXTEENTH, and one point behind Everton.

But it spells good news for Leicester fans as Wolves, Ipswich and Southampton are predicted to be relegated.

The Saints are set to finish on 18 points and overtake Derby’s embarrassing, record-low tally of 11 points from the 2007-08 season.

Arsenal player ratings vs Man City

ARSENAL stunned Man City 5-1 at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

It was an incredible result against their rivals of recent years.

Here, we take a look at how the Gunners rated…

David Raya – 7/10
Had very little to do in the first half but made a brilliant save in the 22nd minute to deny a goalbound header from Josko Gvardiol. Made another stunning save two minutes from the half-time interval, stopping a deflected Savinho shot from close range. Powerless to stop Erling Haaland’s 55th-minute header from briefly levelling the scores.

Jurrien Timber – 6
Didn’t offer his usual attacking threat going forward but was solid defensively. Picked up a pointless yellow breaking up a harmless counter-attack in the 24th minute. Almost scored late in the second half.

William Saliba – 5
Didn’t have much to do in the first half but won all his aerial battles in the first 45 minutes. Marshalled the defence well early in the second period but was embarrassingly outjumped and outmuscled by Haaland for City’s equaliser – a major flaw of his that continues to be exposed.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 6
Like his defensive partner, he was seldom called into action in the first half. Dominant in the air in his battles with Haaland, who he trolled after Odegaard’s goal.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – 8
Continues to endear himself to the Emirates faithful with composure and tenacity beyond his years as he brilliantly floated between left back and midfield. Put real daylight between the two sides with a thumping finish just after the hour mark. This young lad is a real bright prospect for both the Gunners and England.
His trolling of Haaland by copying the Norwegian’s ‘Lotus’ celebration went down a storm with fans.

Thomas Partey – 7
Steady in the heart of midfield and broke up play well when required. Fired the Gunners back into the lead in the 57th minute with a deflected shot from outside the box.

Martin Odegaard – 7
Was in the right place at the right time to benefit from the aftermath of an uncharacteristic Manuel Akanji error and break the deadlock. Was at the heart of everything good the north Londoners did going forward.

Declan Rice – 6
Combative, as always, in the middle of the park and played a role in the home side taking the lead, teeing up Havertz who squared the ball to Odegaard.

Leandro Trossard – 6
Was particularly lively on the left in the first half, giving Matheus Nunes a real run for his money. His end product, however, wasn’t the best.

Gabriel Martinelli – 6
Lively on the right wing in the early goings. Found the back of the net in the fifth minute after some beautiful play from Odegaard but was needlessly offside. Forced a good save out of Ortega with a rasping effort in the 68th minute.

Kai Havertz – 6
Lively early doors, testing Stefan Ortega with a tame shot in the first minute. Teed up Odegaard for a tap in a few moments later. Missed a golden opportunity to double the lead in the 25th minute, dragging the ball wide with the goal at his absolute mercy. Made amends for his howler by finishing an even harder chance in the 76th minute. He well and truly needed that as he looked absolutely devoid of confidence.

SUBS

Ethan Nwaneri – 83 (on for Trossard) – 7
Put the cherry on top of the cake with an outrageous effort in second-half stoppage time.

Mikel Merino – 83 (on for Odegaard) – 5

Riccardo Calafiori 89 (on for Lewis-Skelly) – N/A

Major ‘savings card’ money bonus as Aldi Ireland confirm new Deposit Return Scheme boost in ‘build up value’ shake-up

ALDI Ireland bosses have confirmed a new Deposit Return Scheme Savings Card will now be available at its 163 stores nationwide.

Customers can now avail of the new scheme when they return empty bottles and cans to load funds onto an Aldi Saving Card.

And the card can be topped up at Aldi checkouts[/caption]

It comes after Aldi’s latest announcement of an additional investment in enhancing and expanding the DRS scheme across its stores nationwide.

The newly designed DRS specific card is designed to encourage customers to return their bottles via the DRS system.

And customers, by loading the value of their DRS vouchers onto their Aldi Savings Card, can conveniently keep all their deposited returns in the same place.

The card can be topped up at Aldi checkouts, offering customers a convenient way to save money or plan for future purchases, while supporting sustainability in their daily shopping habits.

The launch comes as Aldi prepares to reach the milestone of 200 million DRS returns across Ireland this February.

Once this milestone is reached, Aldi shoppers will have returned over €30 million worth of cans and bottles to machines since the scheme’s launch in February 2024.

The retailer is investing in new machines and upgrading existing ones at more than 40 stores, making the scheme easier for customers.

The scheme has significantly surpassed expectations for customer engagement.

The initial government target of recycling 50 per cent of all units this year has already been exceeded, with Aldi performing well ahead of the market, and reporting an impressive 140 per cent return rate across its stores

The average return in the EU is 16-17 units per transaction, while Irish customers are recycling 20-25 units per transaction.

Aldi’s investment also involves the purchase of an additional compactor at the Naas Distribution Centre, which will speed up the recycling and repurposing of returned bottles and cans.

The scheme aims to reduce the amount of litter across Irish towns, villages and countryside, by incentivising consumers to recycle their empty items.

LOWEST EU RATES

Ireland had one of the lowest rates of recycling PET and aluminium drink bottles and cans, with roughly 60 per cent of all drink containers being recycled before the introduction of the DRS.

Jason Carolan, Plastic & Packaging Manager at Aldi Ireland said: “The DRS scheme has been very popular with Aldi shoppers, and since going live in February 2024, the number of items being returned on a monthly basis has steadily increased.

“That’s why we’re now looking at how we can make it even easier and more efficient to use.

“This investment will allow us to make machines even more user-friendly and faster.”

CUSTOMERS ‘ON TRACK’ TO SAVE MORE

He continued: “Our new DRS Savings Card is a great way to build up the value of deposits over time.

“They’re easy to use and top-up, and customers can not only contribute to the circular economy but also put that money aside for special occasions.”

“Customers are on track to redeem more than €30 million in cash, vouchers and savings at Aldi’s 163 stores, as we expect to soon reach our goal of processing more than 200 million bottles and cans.

“We’re delighted to see our customers engaging with sustainability in such a positive way.”

Ciaran Foley, CEO of Return, added: “We are delighted to see how much Aldi and its customers have embraced the Deposit Return Scheme since it launched and how successful the scheme has been so far.

“We’re looking forward to continuing to work closely with Aldi over the years ahead and are excited to see how customers engage with these innovative new savings cards.”

Sky Q viewers are missing three features including hidden menu that fixes apps and a bonus remote control

SKY Q boxes are packed with features – and some are hidden away from sight.

There’s even a secret bonus remote control most people don’t know about.

There’s also a hidden menu with extra settings[/caption]

Sky Q is the broadcaster’s main satellite TV service that’s been going strong since 2016.

We recently learnt that a streaming app from one of the UK’s main channels is coming soon to Sky Q.

Channel 5’s My5 platform will finally land on boxes soon, with full access to the firm’s on-demand content.

Here are some useful features on Sky Q that you may have missed.

Hidden Sky Q menu

There’s a hidden extra menu on Sky Q that allows you to fix a few things.

For starters, if you’re having issues with Wi-Fi you can change the “bands” your box uses.

But the most interesting bit is probably the ability to refresh apps if you ever have a problem with one.

This button basically restarts them all for you and will hopefully fix any issues.

There is also an option to factory reset your box if you really want to – but remember that will take things back to the very beginning and require you to set everything back up as if the box was brand new.

To access the hidden menu, follow these instructions:

  • Press the Home button on the remote
  • Scroll down to Settings but don’t select it
  • Instead, press 001
  • Now press Select

Bonus Sky Q remote

If you’re constantly losing the remote there is a way to find it here.

But failing that, there is a little-known extra one available to you.

And it’s all thanks to your phone.

Using the Sky Go app you can control your Sky Q box.

The feature is currently only available on iPhone – but work is underway to add it to Android next.

Save on your electricity bill

Sky Q needs a bit of power to record shows when you’re not using it.

But it can go into eco mode overnight to spare electricity, and therefore help keep your bills down too.

To switch it on, go to Settings > Setup > Preferences > Standby mode Eco mode
