Figures for her Hey Ho Ltd firm that takes in cash from her roles on the telly like Loose Women and lucrative ad deals with the likes of Tesco reveal details of her monster paydays.

Accounts filed late last year show that for the 12 months to the end of May 2024, she took out a dividend of £770,000.

She also spent more than £12,000 on “furniture”, according to the balance sheet.

The annual accounts also revealed that the firm has cash and assets of more than £3m.

Ruth set up the company in 2013 and she is its sole director.

Last May, it was revealed how Ruth and Eamonn had ended their 14-year marriage and how he’d fallen for another woman.

Revealing their split after 14 years of marriage their spokesperson said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

GB News presenter Eamonn, 65, is now dating West Yorkshire grief counsellor Katie Alexander, 43.

Friends say Eamonn may soon propose to his new woman.

Katie wore a sparkling ring on her engagement finger on a trip to Paris in December 2024.

British tourists saw the couple looking loved-up as they came out of the Louvre.

A source said: “Eamonn has been talking openly about his plans to marry Katie and has made it clear he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

“They’re already living together and he knows it feels right. They have a very strong connection and get on very well.

Ruth and Eamonn's relationship timeline

Before the shock split announcement, Ruth and Eamonn seemed like one of the strongest couples on UK TV – even with their signature bickering style.

Here’s how their romance played out…

1997 – The couple first meet after being introduced by mutual friends, two years after Eamonn splits from his first wife, Gabrielle, with whom he has three children.

1997-2002 – To be respectful to Gabrielle, the couple kept their relationship out of the limelight. Ruth told Daily Mail: “I thought it spoke volumes about the sort of man he was, the sort of father he was and the integrity he had. It made me love him more, not less.”

2002 – Ruth and Eamonn welcome their son, Jack, to the family.

2005 – Eamonn finalises his divorce with Gabrielle.

2006 – The pair begin to host Friday episodes of This Morning together.

2010 – Eamonn proposes to Ruth while at the Cheltenham Races, after asking Ruth’s mother for her hand.

June 2010 – Eamonn and Ruth marry at Elvetham Hall, Hampshire.

2016 – Eamonn undergoes a double hip replacement in the first of many health battles.

June 2019 – On This Morning, Ruth and Eamonn say the secret to their happy marriage. Eamonn credits “compromise, consideration and lots of conjugal,” while Ruth said it was “laughter and an equal marriage”.

November 2020 – Ruth and Eamonn are replaced on their regular Friday slot by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary in a ‘show shake-up’.

December 2021 – After a year of being moved to the bank holiday presenting slot, both Eamonn and Ruth left This Morning.

January 2022 – Eamonn debuted on GB News, while Ruth stayed with ITV in her long-standing role on Loose Women.

September 2022 – Eamonn undergoes spinal surgery after years of back issues including a trapped sciatic nerve.

November 2022 – Eamonn falls down the stairs of his Surrey home with Ruth and breaks his shoulder, requiring a new operation.

September 2023 – Eamonn has a spine and neck stretching procedure as part of his year-long recovery.

May 2024 – Ruth and Eamonn announce they have split after 14 years of marriage and a 27-year relationship.

September 2024 – Eamonn was spotted on a luxury holiday in Barcelona with his new girlfriend Katie Alexander. Ruth calls in a ‘fierce’ divorce lawyer.

“She has given him a real lust for life and she looks after him.”

It comes as Ruth recently addressed her “difficult” marriage split.

She told Woman & Home magazine: “Relationship breakdowns are very difficult, but you deal with it and have to move on.

“You can let yourself crumble or you pick yourself up and get on with life. It’s a choice.”

And he will now get to add to the significant first-team experience he gained for the Leesiders during the 2023 campaign.

O’Brien Whitmarsh said: “I just really wanted to get back into men’s football. I had a period back home in Ireland playing men’s football.

“I played for Cork City, I spent five seasons there and one year in the first team. I played around 25-30 times so I am not naive to men’s football.

“I moved to Southampton just over 12 months ago and have been playing 21s football.

“I have had the odd time training with the first team and made my debut in the Carabao Cup.

“I feel I can offer something positive here and this was the perfect opportunity for me.

“I like to score goals. Hopefully I can chip in with a few goals, create a few chances and help the team.

“This is a step up in my career.

“I have had all these challenges throughout my career and been able to overcome them so this is another challenge. It’s very exciting.”

Elsewhere, Cork City have signed Preston North End ace Kitt Nelson on loan after player penned a new long-term deal with Championship side.

Nelson said: “I’ve been here since I was eight so to sign a new deal, I’m just delighted and looking forward to the hard work ahead.

“I’m really excited for my loan spell at Cork now. They’ve got good fans out there and they’re a big ambitious club.

“So, I’m delighted with the opportunity to get some more experience.”

The easy way to make your home 5 degrees hotter WITHOUT yanking up the thermostat & it’s all to do with your curtains

A HOTEL insider has shared the simple trick to keep your house warm without cranking the heating up.

The cold weather means we all want to keep our heating on, but the rising price of energy bills means it can be pricey.

Hotel insiders have shared how to make your house warmer without rising energy bills[/caption]

Fortunately, the insider has shared a hack to get your room 5 degrees warmer without touching the thermostat.

Elite property experts from Luxury Serviced Apartments have claimed that high-end hotels have been using the hack for years to keep guests warm.

The experts, who specialise in designing high-end living spaces, revealed that top-tier hotels focus on heat retention rather than simply increasing heating output.

One of the biggest reasons homes lose heat is windows, and even when they’re closed they can lose 40% of the heat.

But these hotel secrets will stop that from happening.

When the temperature drops outside it can accelerate the rate at which windows lose heat.

To counteract the problem, close your curtain before the evening chill sets in to trap residual heat from the daytime.

Another way you can ensure heat isn’t lost is by using thick, insulated curtains to tackle cold drafts.

While most of us keep our curtains draped over the radiator, hotels tend not to, and for good reason.

This traps heat against the window instead of letting it circulate into the room.

Instead, hotels ensure that radiators are unobstructed, allowing heat to spread efficiently.

To do this at home simply tuck your curtains behind the radiator or opt for shorter curtains that don’t interfere with airflow.

And it’s not just your home you can make warmer, you can make your bed cosier too.

Instead of relying on one thick duvet, high-end hotels use multiple thin layers, which trap warm air between them and provide better insulation.

5 ways to keep your house warm in winter

Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.

1. Curtains

“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.

This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.

2. Rugs

“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.

“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”

3. Check your insulation

Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.

“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.

4. Keep your internal doors closed

“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.

“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”

5. Block drafts

Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.
