Dozens of A-list celebs set to be dragged into Blake Lively’s legal war with ex co-star Justin Baldoni
DOZENS of A-list celebrities are set to be dragged into Blake Lively’s legal war with Justin Baldoni, it emerged last night.
A court in New York heard that a “significant number of high profile individuals” are set to be called on to give evidence in the case.
![Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni singing karaoke in a scene from "It Ends With Us."](https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/image-released-sony-pictures-shows-923078525.jpg?strip=all&w=960)

They are likely to include Lively’s husband, Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds, and pop superstar Taylor Swift, one of her best friends.
Lawyers for Lively, 37, claimed last night that the sexual harassment she allegedly endured at the hands of Baldoni, 41, while filming the movie The Ends With Us, which he directed and co-starred in, had been “devastating” for her.
And Baldoni’s lawyers told the court that he was “suffering greatly”, which is why he filed a $400 million defamation case against the Gossip Girl star.
Both cases are being handled at the federal court in New York where it emerged that Lively plans to make fresh allegations soon.
Her lawyer Matthew Gottlieb said they would file a complaint with new claims and new defendants, but he did not specify who.
The filing could come as soon as February 14, the court heard.
Judge Lewis Liman ordered lawyers for both sides to stop making statements outside of court that might influence the jury.
Gottlieb said that Baldon’s lawyer Bryan Freedman had attacked Lively’s “character, integrity and truthfulness” in a series of interviews with the media.
Over the weekend, Freedman uploaded what he has described as “receipts” relating to the case online.
The lawyer launched a website releasing 168 pages of emails, text messages and WhatsApps between Baldoni and Lively.
Freedman defended his actions in court last night saying: “Not to sound like a four-year-old fighting a four-year-old with ‘but they started it’ but once someone says something it becomes fact, there’s no way to fight against it.
“You start to lose things without the ability to have the court’s adjudication. This was not started by us.”
Lively hit Baldoni with a sex harassment complaint in December.
Baldoni responded last month by filing a civil suit against Lively, Reynolds, 48, and their publicist Leslie Sloan for extortion, defamation and invasion of privacy.
He is also suing the New York Times newspaper for defamation after it reported that Baldoni had hired a PR crisis management team to “bury” Lively.

LOVE Island fans reckon they’ve worked out Ekin-Su’s gameplan – as she kicked off a new show feud.
The return of the fan favourite heart rate challenge brought some surprises.

This included Ekin-Su planting a kiss on Sammy Root – despite him being coupled up with Elma Pazar.
Writing online, viewers are certain they know what Ekin-Su’s motivations are.
One penned: “Ekin when she secures her screentime by out of nowhere kissing the guy that is in a couple with the girl that got the most votes last time & that has an infamous temper.”
Another added: “She saw Elma going crazy yesterday and told herself this is the way to get screentime.”
While a third chimed in: “Ekins figured she’ll get the most screentime by going after Elma.”
A fourth wrote: “She’s the only one who’s provided the drama all season, ofcourse she’s going to get screen time when others are doing nothing!
“It’s an entertainment show, nothing too serious.”
Upon witnessing the surprise smooch, Elma remarked: “She didn’t kiss anyone else’s fella” .
It came as an extra shock, given Ekin-Su had earlier assured Elma that she wouldn’t kiss Sammy.
Upon learning the heart rate challenge was imminent, the Celebrity Big Brother star said: “I’m going to kiss everyone!”
Elma then interjected, pointing out that kissing wasn’t a part of the game.
In response, Ekin-Su mouthed back: “I won’t snog your man!”
After the challenge, the two girls sat down for a chat to discuss what happened.
Ekin-Su said the kiss had just been a peck and that it wasn’t “that deep”.
