CONOR McGREGOR appeared to spit in a fan’s face after a jibe about Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor, 36, hasn’t stepped inside the octagon since suffering a horrifying leg break in a losing effort during his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 four years ago.
The Irish fighter’s return date is currently unknown after his highly-anticipated comeback fight against Michael Chandler was axed due to a toe injury.
The mixed martial artist, though, is still attractig the spotlight as a shocking clip of him has now gone viral.
McGregor is shown at what looks like a swanky shopping centre and a fan is heard yelling. “Let’s go Khabib” in what appears to be a quip directed at the Irishman.
The former lightweight champion turns around and has an angry confrontation with the man in question.
A spitting sound is then heard before the ex-featherweight champion walks away.
McGregor is then heard saying: “I spit in your face, what do you do? Nothing.”
The location and date in which the clip is recorded is not yet known.
McGregor’s rivalry with Nurmagomedov back in 2018 went down in history as one of the most intense.
The two fighters had fiery confrontations both inside and outside the octagon.
That led to a fight at UFC 229, which McGregor lost via submission in the fourth round.
The two rivals have never faced since Nurmagomedov retained the lightweight title in Las Vegas.

TONIGHT’S Love Island All Stars saw a clash between Ekin-Su and Elma Pazar – after the former kissed Sammy during a steamy challenge.
Ekin kissed Sammy during the heart rate challenge[/caption]
The girls looked on in shock from above[/caption]
Ekin-Su and Elma later had a chat about the shock moment[/caption]
In the sexy game, viewers saw Ekin-Su don a red devil outfit with horns and wings.
As she danced, the past winner gave fellow past champ Sammy Root a peck on the lips.
This prompted Sammy to shout up to Elma – whom he is coupled up with – “I didn’t kiss her back”.
While Elma remarked: “She didn’t kiss anyone else’s fella” .
Later on, Elma asked her fellow villa girl if she had indeed kissed Sammy.
To which Ekin-Su responded “whoops”, how it had been just a peck and said it wasn’t “that deep”.
Discussing further, Elma replied that it is deep and asked if Ekin was her friend or enemy.
This led Ekin-Su to apologise and say she will be more careful in the next challenge.
It followed the build-up to this moment being established earlier on in the episode.
Upon learning about the imminent heart rate challenge, Ekin-Su joked: “I’m going to kiss everyone!”
Elma then pointed out how kissing is not a part of the game.
In response, Ekin-Su mouthed back: “I won’t snog your man!”
Taking to X, a viewer penned: “Not Ekin kissing Sammy on the lips in the heart rate challenge.”
Another added: “Why is Ekin kissing Sammy?? I can only defend so much!”
While a third wrote: “Ekin doing the famous terrace crawl and kissing Sammy, Elma is gonna burn that villa to the ground.”
A source said: “Elma has said the attraction with Sammy was nothing more than flirtation as she’s conscious they have an age gap of nearly 10 years, but Love Island execs hope under the South African sun, love could bloom.
“Sammy is pals with a few of the lads too including Casey and Ron so will slot right in.
“He’s All Stars’ second winner too, joining Ekin in that accolade.”
3 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on Chelsea player ratings: Levi Colwill’s sluggish performance saved by Pedro Neto’s best showing in a Blues shirt
CHELSEA capitalised on the failures of their rivals to move up to fourth in the Premier League with a 2-1 win over West Ham in West London.
Chances came and went for The Blues in the first half, with the two best falling to Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez, both of whom missed the target.
Cole Palmer played a big role in the winner[/caption]
Pedro Neto inspired Chelsea to three points after coming off the bench[/caption]
Levi Colwill had a moment to forget as he gifted West Ham the opening goal[/caption]
And just when it looked to be a half of missed chances, a Levi Colwill backpass rolled straight into the path of Jarrod Bowen who dispatched his shot perfectly into the bottom left corner on his return from injury.
A host of changes from Enzo Maresca upped the tempo in the second half, and they paid dividends with PedroNetodriving home an equaliser in the 63rd minute after a shot from Fernandez.
Fans grew optimistic as the home side grew into the game, which culminated in a deflected Cole Palmer effort sending the Bridge into raptures as they went 2-1 up.
Only Tottenham have dropped more points from winning positions than Chelsea this season, but they managed to cling onto this one to put them into a Champions League spot once more.
Here is how SunSport’s Lloyd Canfield rated Chelsea’s performance.
Filip Jorgensen – 7
It would’ve been a tough task to disappoint Chelsea fans after what they have seen from Robert Sanchez in recent weeks.
There wasn’t an awful lot he could do about the opener, and actually made some pretty good stops to prevent his side being more than one goal down at the halfway point.
Those saves proved vital, and he should expect to start against Brighton up next.

Reece James – 6
His crosses from the right were good throughout the first half, but there was no one clinical enough in the box to grab him an assist.
Strong defensively, but ultimately didn’t have much to do in that aspect with Chelsea dominant on the flanks.
Tosin Adarabioyo – 7
Strong in the air and pretty good across the ground.
Perhaps could have done a little more to prevent Bowen opening the scoring as he seemed to stand and watch him shoot, but overall was good and is growing into a good, consistent Premier League centre half.
His vital block in added time might well have been the difference between three points and one.
Levi Colwill – 3
His awful backpass rolledBowen in perfectly to give the Hammers the lead just before first half-time.
A lousy and sluggish performance improved in the second half after his side took the lead, but he was fortunate not to cost his side points tonight.
Marc Cucurella – 7
Inverted well from left back into midfield in a role that looks made for him, he was strong in his tackles and good in the air from start to finish.
Got into dangerous positions going forward, but couldn’t add the finishing touches to his game on this occasion.
Moises Caicedo – 7
Tenacious tackling and energy is what the home fans have become accustomed to seeing from their Ecuadorian destroyer.
Glimpses of that in the first half extended into a mature and controlled second 45 minutes where he looked to have Mo Kudus’ number.
Enzo Fernández – 5
Missed a huge chance to give Chelsea the lead which he rolled past the left hand post from a few yards out.
It was his blocked effort which bounced out for Neto to level the scoring, but overall the Argentine looked a bit off the pace in midfield.
Noni Madueke – 4
Perhaps should’ve had a goal and assist in the first half an hour as he was set up by Nicolas Jackson and put the ball on a plate for Enzo Fernandez, but neither chance was converted.
His best moment of the second half was when he bodied the referee, before being subbed for Christopher Nkunku.
Cole Palmer – 7
A quiet first half had the travelling fans comparing him to Andy Irving, but he soon showed them up.
Almost scored a free-kick similar to the one we saw against Brighton this season, but it was well saved by Areola.
It was his deflected effort that put his side in the lead as he grew into the game more and more.
Jadon Sancho – 4
His quick feet made him a threat on the left hand side in the first half, but again his end product or lack thereof would’ve cost Chelsea if his replacement didn’t bail them out.
Was subbed five minutes into the second half for Pedro Neto.
Nicolas Jackson – 3
Showed some promising signs early on with a good ball into Noni Madueke, who narrowly missed the goal.
Aside from that, he looked like a striker utterly devoid of any confidence and was poor before being hooked for 18-year-old Marc Guiu.
SUBS
Marc Guiu (Nicolas Jackson, 51) – 5
Didn’t really do a lot wrong or right after coming on for Nicolas Jackson.
Certainly looks more confident in the Conference League, but Premier League minutes in the tank will do him good.
Pedro Neto (Jadon Sancho, 51) – 8
His best performance in a Chelsea shirt since he joined.
A composed finish saw him level the scoring before more great work in the build up saw Cole Palmer rifle home a deflected effort.
Great energy, work rate, and end product from Maresca’s own Portuguese magnifico.
Malo Gusto (Reece James, 60) – 6
Was energetic and strong after replacing captain Reece James, also playing a part in the goal that put his side in the lead.
His passing was good and he looked more like the player who became a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge last campaign.
Christopher Nkunku (Noni Madueke, 60) – 5
Did a job for the team out of position on the left hand side in Jadon Sancho‘s position.
Not overly effective though, and you feel sorry for him a bit that a player as good as Cole Palmer occupies his best space.

MARCUS RASHFORD “can hurt teams” and help Aston Villa WIN the Champions League.
Rashford will wear the No 9 shirt — vacated by £70million Al-Nassr signing Jhon Duran — as he aims to revive his career under Unai Emery.
He said: “Being back in the Champions League is hugely exciting. It’s the biggest competition for a club to be involved in, and they’re always great nights.
“We want to get as far as we can and if we don’t aim to win it, then we’re never going to win it.
“I’m sure it will be a great experience for me playing for Villa in the Champions League.
“I know I can hurt teams and, when I’m at my best, decide football games.
“That will be my only goal, to help the team win more games, more points and hopefully create history.”
Rashford has 12 goals and three assists in 33 appearances for United in Europe’s elite competition.
And Rashford will team up with Villa’s Paris Saint-Germain loanee Marco Asensio when they return to Europe in a last-16 tie next month.

Rashford, 27, said: “I’ve played a fair amount of games in the Champions League so I feel like I’m experienced and know how to handle those situations.
“It’s my first time playing for another team but it’s been excitement, rather than being scared.
“It’s an ambitious time for this club and a great opportunity for me to help them keep pushing forward.”
Villa are not paying a loan fee but have agreed to stump up at least 75 per cent of Rashford’s £325,000 weekly pay packet.
That could hit 90 per cent if bonus targets are hit.
Rashford can sign permanently this summer for £40m.
He last played on December 12 and was accused by Ruben Amorim of lacking effort in training.
The 60-cap Three Lions ace believes he can take his game to a new level under intense Villa chief Emery.
Rashford has left a Man Utd full of despair[/caption]
Rashford, who could make his Villa debut at home to Tottenham in the FA Cup on Sunday, added: “He’s a top manager and what he’s done with the club is unbelievable.
“It’s the constant ambition that’s attractive. They are a club that’s in a good position in the league and they’re pushing to get higher.
“We have a good, ambitious manager and great talent in the squad. I’ve had to choose somewhere I feel my style of football is suited to, and help them and help me rediscover and improve as a player.
“I want to make the most of my time.”
Asensio, a Champions League winner at Real Madrid, cannot wait to link up with Emery.
The winger, 29, said: “Unai’s had a great career, he’s a top coach, he’s been key in me being able to come here because of his idea of how he wants to play football.
“I love it, it suits me perfectly.”
“I’ve got experience in these types of Champions League games. They are games that are decided based on small margins.”
Villa are also set to agree a loan deal to take Chelsea outcast Axel Disasi for the remainder of this season.
Emery feared he had missed out on the 26-year-old France international defender.
Blues were not keen to strengthen a direct Champions League rival and wanted him to go to Spurs instead.
However, the £38.8m buy from Monaco in August 2023 dug his heels in.
Villa are set to pay a £5m loan fee to land the centre-back, who starred for France at the 2022 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Villa defenders Kosta Nedeljkovic, 19, and Sil Swinkels, 21, have gone to RB Leipzig and Bristol Rovers in respective loan deals.

The stunning brunette’s arrival will send shockwaves through the villa[/caption]
Samie originally appeared in the ninth series of Love Island and was a real hit with the lads, snaring herself a boyfriend in Tom Clare.
The 24-year-old has since enjoyed a relationship with Towie star Harry Lee but is now looking for love after they called it a day five months ago.
The Sun can exclusively reveal that Samie’s arrival so soon after two shock exits will send shockwaves through the villa.
A source said: “Samie is absolutely stunning and she had no trouble turning the boys’ heads last time she was in the villa.
“Now she’s single again, she’s keen to try and find a man and her arrival really will set the cat among the pigeons.
“Tension is already at an all-time high in the villa following Ron and Scott’s departures, so it’s a great time for Samie to cause a stir.
“Ekin-Su has only just managed to turn Curtis’ head back from Danielle, so she definitely needs to watch out.”
Samie had her first shot at finding a man in winter series of Love Island in 2023.
She arrived as a bombshell midway through and instantly turned original islander Tom’s head having fought off competition from fellow bombshellsEllie SpenceandZara Lackenby Brown.
The couple ended up making it all the way to the final and finished in third place.
However, once back in the UK, Samie and Tom realised it wasn’t going to work.
Samie– based in London – put her head over heart and called time on their romance after a number of trips north to visit herfootballer beau in Barnsley.
Sources tell us that Ron “grew tired” of forcing romances that he knew were going nowhere.
An insider said: “Ron was the centre of attention on his series, with multiple girls vying for his attention and with Lana always there for him to return to.
“It was a bit of a rude awakening for him this time round as he just couldn’t find a single spark.
“He realised he wasn’t likely to find that connection now and had grown tired of watching the front door for bombshells that might be for him.”

3 days agoLatest NewsComments Off on Ceann Comhairle rules on Dail speaking rights row as she says TDs can’t form technical group amid ‘brazen sham’ reaction
CEANN Comhairle Verona Murphy has ruled that a regional group of independents cannot be recognised for speaking rights in the Dail.
A row over the matter has consumed Irish politics for the first few weeks of the new Government’s term.
The issue centres around the Regional Group of independents – Michael Lowry, Gillian Toole, Barry Heneghan and Danny Healy-Rae.
They have been involved in the programme for Government negotiations and have vowed to support the Fine Gael-Fianna Fail coalition for the next five years.
But they also want to be labelled as opposition TDs so they can get speaking time in the Dail during Leaders’ Questions and challenge the Taoiseach, a bid that was blasted by Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald as “Alice in Wonderland stuff”.
However, tonight the Ceann Comhairle said she had made a decision “having carefully considered legal advice, submissions and other materials which are in the public domain”.
The Wexford TD said: “I have decided that the (Regional Technical) Group are not eligible for recognition under Standing Order 170.”
She added: “I have made my decision tonight so that the Committee on Standing Orders and Dáil Reform, which meets tomorrow, will be aware of my ruling in advance of that meeting.”
In her decision, the Ceann Comhairle said that Standing Orders are “not legislation” and constitutional or statutory rules “do not necessarily apply” when interpreting them.
She added: “Rather, any interpretation must, in my view, be based on how a reasonable, fair-minded person would interpret the relevant wording.”
Deputy Murphy said external senior counsel’s advice said that a technical group can’t be approved unless it complies with the Standing Order, so her key decision was whether the group were “in fact ‘members in Opposition'”.
After referring to several statements made by the independent TDs, her decision was as follows: “Given the public statements and the references in the Programme for Government above it is not unreasonable to conclude that the independent representatives referred to in the Programme for Government include four members of the Regional Technical Group: Deputies Lowry, Toole, Heneghan and Danny Healy-Rae.
“The public statements made by Deputy Michael Lowry on behalf of the Regional Technical Group and those of Deputy Michael Healy-Rae and Danny Healy-Rae are extremely difficult to reconcile with a reasonable interpretation in plain English of the term ‘in Opposition’.
“Further, while I have received emails from Deputies Lowry, Toole, Heneghan and Danny Healy-Rae asserting that they would be retaining their independence and voting on a case-by-case basis, these, in my opinion, carry lesser weight than their previous public statements and actions.
‘NOT SATISFIED’
“These emails were sent after controversy had arisen whereas the previous public statements and actions, which were uncontradicted at the time, were made in the immediate aftermath of the conclusion of the Programme for Government negotiations.
“In simple terms, I cannot accept that these emails displace the weight of the members prior statement referenced above.
“Having regard to the foregoing, having carefully considered all of the legal advice, submissions and materials referenced above, I am not satisfied that Deputies Lowry, Toole, Heneghan and Danny Healy-Rae are members ‘in Opposition’ as required by Standing Order 170. I therefore cannot accord recognition as a technical group to the Regional Technical Group as it is currently constituted.”
The Ceann Comhairle also provided a timeline of key dates involved in making her decision, which is as follows:
Date OPLA advice received by Ceann Comhairle – 17th January 2025
Date of initiation of submissions process – 17th January 2025
Deadline for receipt of submissions – 22nd January 2025
Date brief sent to external Senior Counsel ‒ 26th January 2025
Date opinion was received from external Senior Counsel – 2nd February 2025
Date of ruling by the Ceann Comhairle – 3rd February 2025
‘BRAZEN SHAM’
Commenting tonight, the Social Democrats’ Cian O’Callaghan said it is a “significant ruling” and “confirms what Opposition parties have been saying from the outset”.
He added: “Government backbenchers cannot masquerade as members of the Opposition in a cynical attempt to avail of Opposition speaking rights.
“In reaching her decision, the Ceann Comhairle put great weight behind the words of members of the Lowry Independents – who publicly stated they were part of the Government.
“She saw through their belated attempt to rewrite history, and claim to be in Opposition, as the brazen sham it was.
‘STAND VINDICATED’
“Hopefully this will now put an end to this issue and the Dáil can focus on the many pressing issues facing the country.
“All parties – Government and Opposition – should accept this ruling.”
Sinn Fein’s Padraig Mac Lochlainn also told RTE tonight that it was ridiculous that the Government had contested this position for so long.
The party’s chief whip added in a statement: “The stand taken by the combined opposition has been vindicated: You cannot be in government and opposition at the same time.
“This is also a deeply embarrassing development for the government. They have fully backed Michael Lowry and his group of government supporting TDs over the last two weeks.
“The combined opposition have stood our ground and it’s clear that the Irish people overwhelmingly support us in defending the rights of the opposition in a democracy.
“This stroke and this charade must now end.
“An Taoiseach Micheál Martin and An Tánaiste Simon Harris must finally sort this mess out by allocating Dáil speaking time and committee positions to these government-supporting TDs just as they would to their own Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael back-benchers.”
