Mrs Hinch shares first glimpse of finished nursery for baby number three, including charity shop buys she’s chuffed with

MRS Hinch knows how to make a picture-perfect home.

And despite being pregnant with her third child whose due date is near, she hasn’t stopped perfecting his new nursery.

Fans are thrilled as Sophie Hinchliffe, 34, showed off the finishing touches on Instagram last night.

The cleanfluencer headed to the nursery to show off the gorgeous gallery wall she and her husband put up.

“They are on the wall,” she said delighted by the finished results.

“The prints, my charity shop frames, which I’m actually over the moon with.”

The mum bought a selection of different gold photo frames for a vintage feel to the nursery to match her cottage core aesthetic in the rest of her £1.1 million farmhouse.

Inside the frames were adorable prints of Beatrix Potter’s most popular characters including Peter Rabbit, Jeremiah Puddle Duck and Mrs Tiggy Winkle.

The sketches were the perfect addition to the blue and brown themed room.

“I’m really pleased with them guys, chuffed to bits,” she added.

The feature wall had a gorgeous checkered wallpaper pasted to the top; the bottom half was panelled.

Making sure her dad, who passed last year, was still part of the process, she used his pencil and level to hang the photos.

In a previous video, Mrs Hinch shared hte exact paint she used – number 975, named Moon Shadow, from Wickes.

“I found the perfect shade of blue,” she gushed.

And given that the paint is just £15 for 2.5 litres from Wickes, and the wallpaper is £1.25 for a sample, the bedroom makeover isn’t likely to cost too much either.

“I love the idea of a traditional country check nursery in creams and dusty blues,” she wrote over a snap of the paint and wallpaper sample.

“When I opened this wallpaper sample, both me and Jamie really liked it.”

The pair announced their pregnancy late last year[/caption]

Mrs Hinch announced the news of her pregnancy in late October, just six months after her dad’s tragic passing.

In the short video announcement, Jamie was seen painting the words “Baby boy #3” on a wall inside their house, while their sons Ronnie, five, and Lennie, three, added their hand prints around the message.

As the clip went on, a black-and-white filter faded away, revealing blue paint on the wall to signify that another boy is on the way.

It then cut to Sophie cradling her bump in a black catsuit.

The cleaning guru paid tribute to her late dad Alan in her caption, writing: “Heaven was too far to visit, so you sent us a special gift from up above.

“I have no doubt you sent him to us Dad, to fill our hearts with so much love.

“Ronnie and Lennie’s baby brother. Our baby boy no. 3. Joining us in 2025. The three musketeers.”

When did Mrs Hinch's dad pass away?

Her father actually died on April 25, 2024, but his grieving daughter waited until she was ready to share the sad news with her fans.

In April 2023, Sophie revealed how she was taking a break social media after her dad ended up in hospital.

She said at the time: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.

“He’s always struggled you know.”

She heartbreakingly added: “I just want him to be happy.”

“Never Again” Buy Tires From Costco, Shoppers Say: “Simply Horrendous”

Costco is beloved for many things. Two words: Free samples. The warehouse even has its own line of in-house apparel. But their tires? Not so beloved. In fact, Costco’s Tire Center has received tons of online backlash from customers who claim the shop is a “complete waste of time” and “absolutely miserable.” One Costco member on Reddit went so far as to say, “I would rather walk everywhere than go into a Costco tire center ever again.” Keep reading to see shoppers’ biggest gripes with Costco, plus which retailer is better.

Wait times are hours long even with appointments, says shoppers.

Multiple customers complained about lengthy wait times, despite having made an appointment ahead of time. One Redditor said they were stuck in the waiting room for three hours while employees “did their best to avoid any kind of update.”

In another post, someone called Costco’s wait times “simply horrendous.” Their appointment, which was for tire rotation and minor nail repair, lasted three hours, and the work was only half completed because “they ran out of time.”

“They’re already overbooked just for new tire installations. Good luck getting a rotation or road hazard warranty work done. Get a flat tire? Too bad,” wrote a third.

All of this to say, “It's not BAD, it's just not convenient. You're essentially on their schedule, not yours,” said another.

Costco doesn’t hire trained mechanics, employees confirm.

Customers also dislike the lack of expertise and professionalism at Costco’s Tire Center. In a subsequent Reddit thread, several employees confirmed that the tire shop isn’t staffed with trained mechanics—meaning, customers can expect their services to be limited in scope compared with auto shops.

“The Tire Center is not a mechanical shop. We are not allowed to give any advice regarding things other than tires for liability reasons,” wrote a Costco employee. “I have worked in the Tire Center for years and don't know anything about things other than wheels and tires.”

A second employee corroborated this narrative, adding that most workers “have a hobby interest” or “will pick things up after years in the shop.” But as for more advanced maintenance, they said: “If we see something obviously wrong with your vehicle we will tell you and/or put it in your final invoice to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic for XYZ reason.”

“Keep in mind Costco has no actual mecanics working in their garage, just service men that are only good for changing tires and oil (at leat at my local one),” wrote a third.

Shoppers are boycotting Costco and turning to Discount Tire instead.

Some patrons are so fed up with the retailer that they're abandoning the tire service center altogether—and taking their business to Discount Tire instead.

“Note to others, Discount Tire has always matched or beat Costco on tires, and they have the sizes in stock or can get them in a day or two versus weeks for Costco,” shared one Redditor.

“Discount Tire for life,” another second.

“Going to a Discount Tire means I’m in and out in an hour without appointment, and for even cheaper than Costco these days,” wrote a customer. A fourth person added that Discount Tire is “miles better” than Costco in every regard that matters.

“I don’t go to Costco for tires. I don’t go to discount tires for hot dogs,” quipped another.

RTE GAA broadcast gatecrashed by fan wearing seagull mask in callback to All-Ireland final cameo

THERE was an uninvited guest on RTE’s half-time analysis of Galway vs Armagh – with a nod/beak to July’s All-Ireland final between them.

Tomás Ó’Sé and Peter Canavan were exposed to the elements throughout Galway’s 1-12 to 0-9 victory as they set up pitchside.

Marty Morrissey seemed to appreciate the stunt too[/caption]

But that meant they were also exposed to spectators who fancied being seen as well as heard.

And harking back to July’s altogether better weather conditions, one punter chanced joining them for a moment while wearing an homage to a memorable cameo during the All-Ireland decider.

He momentarily posed alongside Kerry legend Ó’Sé before slinking back towards his seat having made his mark to those watching on TV.

It was all a bit surreal but we imagine whomever it was under that mask is delighted to have pulled off their moment of gull-ory.

The most consequential moment of the evening though came post-match when Kieran McGeeney revealed star player Rian O’Neill is taking a break from his panel that could last ‘months’.

The Armagh boss explained: “He’s taking a bit of time out for himself at the minute.

“I don’t know whether it’s weeks or months. We said we’d give it to him.”

Asked if O’Neill will be involved this season, McGeeney said: “When it’s personal, I try not to ask any questions.

“He was in for a while and he’s training. He’s just taking a bit of time for himself. That’s it.”

The 2002 All-Ireland winning captain also bemoaned their lack of discipline for having cost them on the night.

He added: “Silly stuff like discipline cost us dearly. It cost us about 1-2 and with no need for it.”

About ten minutes from the final whistle being blown Niall Grimley was shown a straight red card which personified McGeeney’s point.

Despite the ball being dead, Grimley punched his counterpart in the stomach and was duly given his marching orders after his infraction was spotted by the linesman.

A home game against Ulster rivals Tyrone on Saturday is next on the agenda for Armagh as the Sam Maguire holders look to get their 2025 off the ground.

Galway meanwhile, will have a fierce provincial battle of their own in Mayo on Sunday.

Tribe chief Pádraic Joyce added: “I wouldn’t be happy with a lot of stuff.

“We missed a good few there at the end, probably two or three good goal chances, a few scores when we were maybe just over-elaborating a bit too much.

“But it’s the first game of the league and I’d be very, very happy if someone told me this morning that we’d beat Armagh and get two points.”

Watch as British Airways plane is struck by lightning & cars are swept away as devastating floods wreak havoc in Brazil

THIS is the moment a British Airways plane was dramatically struck by lightning as devastating floods wreak havoc across Brazil’s largest city.

The Airbus A350 was parked at São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport when it was directly hit on its vertical stabilizer during a massive storm.

Incredible footage from Friday shows the electrifying moment as the lightning bolt connected to the fuselage for several seconds.

The plane, en route to London Heathrow, was delayed for inspections, while 21 other flights were redirected due to the severe weather.

Despite the shocking scenes, aviation experts confirmed to Brazilian media that lightning strikes on planes are common and generally harmless.

That’s thanks to advanced safety features that shield passengers from electrical discharge.

Elsewhere in São Paulo – a city with more than 11 million residents – chaos unfolded as heavy rains battered the city, dumping an entire month’s worth of rainfall in just hours.

Streets turned into rivers, cars were swept away, and one resident was spotted navigating the floodwaters on a jet ski.

Public transport ground to a halt, with locals crowding subway stations to escape the torrential downpour.

By Friday evening, over 120,000 Enel customers were left without power, with outages affecting nearly 180,000 homes at the storm’s peak.

Gusting winds and lighting added to the destruction, leaving neighbourhoods submerged and sparking urgent alerts from the Civil Defence.

For the first time, local authorities issued an emergency alert directly to residents’ phones, warning of the flooding and urging people to seek safety.

In the northern district of Vila Guilherme, part of the roof at the bustling Center Norte shopping mall collapsed under the weight of the rain.

Videos showed water cascading into the mall, forcing officials to cordon off sections for repairs, according to local outlet UOL.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

São Paulo has now entered a state of alert, with the city’s two major riverbanks threatened by rising waters.

The city remains braced for further impacts as thunderstorm season grips the region.

Brazil, once dubbed the “lightning strike capital of the world,” frequently sees fierce storms in January, adding to the challenges faced by residents during the rainy season.

It comes after “apocalyptic” floods caused massive destruction in the southern part of the country last year.

The heavy downpours in Rio Grande do Sul state cost the lives of at least 100 people while another 130 were missing.

The floods affected some 400 municipalities causing a great deal of destruction across the state leaving 230,000 residents displaced.

Rescue efforts had to be halted as forecasters kept predicting more rain and strong winds as days went by.

The floods, which ravaged the state last May, saw hundreds of houses submerged, with only their roofs visible as locals were using small boards and surfboards to move around.

It also destroyed major highways, bridges, airports and even football stadiums.

The state’s capital city Porto Alegre alone is home to about 1.4 million people, and authorities estimate it will cost up to £745 million to clean up the damage.
