ARSENAL fans have been left raging after Myles Lewis-Skelly was surprisingly sent off.
The 18-year-old was given a red card for a foul on Wolves star Matt Doherty after 43 minutes.
The hosts had just defended a corner from the Gunners and looked to break away on the counter-attack when the Irishman was cynically tripped up.
Most expected Lewis-Skelly to be given a yellow card, but he was instead given a red by referee Michael Oliver.
The wonderkid looked perplexed as headed down the tunnel and argued with the fourth official.
His team-mates and Mikel Arteta were also fuming over the decision.

A MYSTERIOUS stone carved nearly 1,700 years ago has been unearthed in a region rich with Biblical history, where Jesus is said to have walked on water.
The volcanic slab, inscribed with Ancient Greek, may rewrite what we know about the Roman Empire’s reach — and the towns it controlled.
An ancient stone with mysterious carvings was uncovered by researchers in Israel[/caption]
Scientists say that the basalt stone, unearthed in Upper Galilee at the site of Abel Beth Maacah, served as a boundary marker under Roman rule.
It reveals the existence of two previously unknown settlements – Tirathas and Golgol – firmly within the vast Roman Empire’s control.
The stone’s inscriptions date back 1,720 years, during the reign of Caesar Marcus Aurelius Alexander, a name familiar to fans of the original Gladiator film.
Alongside the towns’ names, it features references to four governors who managed the empire’s far-flung territories.
Professor Uzi Leibner from the Hebrew University explained the significance of such a discovery.
He said: “Finding a boundary stone like this not only sheds light on ancient land ownership and taxation but also provides a tangible connection to the lives of individuals who navigated these complex systems nearly two millennia ago.”
The discovery paints a picture of Rome’s extensive influence, stretching from Italy to the Middle East, where it governed Israel from 63 BC until 135 AD.
Residents of the region, taxed by an empire 2,500 miles away, left behind enduring traces of their lives etched into the archaeological record.
Researchers said that this stone can provide a “unique glimpse into the lives of ancient inhabitants, the pressures they faced and the enduring traces of their communities in the archaeological record.”
The names Tirathas and Golgol are entirely new to scholars.
Researchers linked Golgol linguistically and culturally to significant Biblical locations like Gilgal and Golgotha.
While Gilgal is mentioned in the Book of Joshua as a key Israelite encampment, Golgotha is famously known as the site of Jesus’ crucifixion.
Researchers have speculated that the ruins of Kh. Turritha, recorded in the late 19th century on the Lebanese side of the border, may correspond to Tirathas.
The resemblance of the names “can hardly be coincidental,” they noted, though only “large heaps of basalt stones” were documented at the time.
The search for Golgol, however, remains inconclusive.
Some scholars believe a round hill near Abel Beth Maacah could hold the answer, though no definitive archaeological link has been made.
The boundary stone adds to a collection of over 20 similar finds in the northern Hula Valley, dating to a period of heightened Roman administrative control.
Scientists say that the basalt stone served as a boundary marker under Roman rule[/caption]
Israel, including the Galilee region (pictured) was under Roman Rule from 63 BC until 135 AD[/caption]
These markers were used to define land ownership, streamline taxation, and enforce imperial authority.
The artifact’s placement in Galilee, where Biblical history and Roman governance collide, marks how ancient geography, economy, and culture are interconnected.
The 1,500-year-old artefact is called ‘Solomon’s Seal’ and was found in northern Israel by a local resident living in the village of Arbel about 40 years ago.
Carved into the rock on the east slope of the City of David, near Temple Mount, the remarkably preserved structure comprises eight rooms containing an altar and a sacred standing stone
And experts believe it may have featured in the Bible, because the partially-destroyed site lines up with the story of how Hezekiah – one of Jesus’s paternal grandfathers – smashed idolatrous places of worship.

SOUTHPORT killer Axel Rudakubana was “always trouble” according to old classmates with new images showing him at a drama class aged 11.
Rudakubana, now 18, wastold he will serve lifeafter murdering Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Da Silva Aguiar, nine, and trying to kill ten others at aTaylor Swiftdance class last July.
Southport murderer Axel Rudakubana has been given a life sentence[/caption]
The cowardly killer was sentenced on Thursdayto a minimum of 52 years in prison – the longest for anyone his age.
Yet Rudakubana, in his early school years, had actually been a model pupil who loved to sing and dance before the tide slowly turned.
In new pictures released, taken at the Pauline Quirke Academy – a drama school in Southport in 2017 – Rudakubana is seen reciting lines from a script.
Another image shows him lurking on the edge of the drama group aged 11 as those around him seem enthusiastic and happy.
These chilling photos are now looked back on with horror after he murdered three young girls in cold blood six years later.
His behaviour slowly turned and in 2019 he was expelled from school in Formby, Merseyside, after taking in a knife.
Police were called in and the Year Nine student — then aged just 13 — was sent home, before returning with a hockey stick.
The headmaster intervened before anyone was harmed.
While Rudakubana’s lawyer, Stan Reiz KC, told the court on Thursday: “Something changed in him when he reached the age of 13”, his former peers say there were earlier warning signs.
A former pupil called Jamie, who studied at Range High School in the nearby town of Formby at the same time as Rudakubana told MailOnline: “He was always trouble.”
Jamie added: “Everybody knew him from the get-go [in Year 7]. It was clear and obvious that something was wrong in his brain.
“There were occasions when he had to be held back [by teachers]. He was infamous. People would be scared of him because he was not a good person at all.”
It was when Axel Rudakubana started secondary school in 2017 that things took a darker turn.
A former pupil called Daisy, who sat next to him in English, paints a picture of him as a troublemaker, frequently taking things “too far” and having “shouting matches” with the teacher.
By Year 8, Daisy says, he’d already earned a name for himself; “doing an Axel” became synonymous for misbehaving in lessons.
She also recalled how Rudakubana would have a “dark, ominous” look on his face when the topic of women’s rights came up.
Another student, Rebecca, described him as a “bad egg” who had a reputation for making sexist jokes to the girls.
Rebecca said she, and others, tried their best to “stay away” from Rudakubana.
Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, was murdered at the dance class[/caption]
Bebe King, 6, was among the youngsters stabbed to death[/caption]
Current and former pupils at the state secondary have found themselves in the spotlight this week after the disturbing revelation that, just seven days before the Southport murders, Rudakubana had plotted to take a taxi to his old school.
It seems he had a grievance to settle, and was dressed in the same green hoodie and surgical mask he wore to the attack a week later.
The cab was booked for 12.20pm — ten minutes before the 1,100 pupils aged 11-16 were due to break up for summer.
But his martial arts instructor dad came out of the house and remonstrated with Axel, then 17, before sending the driver away from their home in Banks, Lancs.
Mental health experts and social workers tried to help, resulting in an autism diagnosis, but the teenager refused to engage and waded into the cesspit of inhumanity available online.
One tablet device found by cops contained details of ethnic cleansing inSomalia, a history of Nazism and violence in Chechnya.
Shortly before the Southport murders, Rudakubana also searched on X for videos of an April 2024 stabbing of a bishop and five others in a church in Sydney.
His parents and brother were relocated in the wake of his attack.

KATIE Price has revealed the results of her latest facelift surgery in a shocking set of snaps showing her wrapped up in bandages.
The mum of five took to Snapchat to document the aftermath of her procedure, with the sides of her visage and cheeks all taped up.
On Friday, former glamour model Katie, 46, revealed she was preparing to gounder the knifeagain.
She told how she had touched back down in Turkey following her 17th boob job and previous facelift last year.
Katie confessed on Snapchat: “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking.
“Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That’s the worst bit for me, the needle.
“The needle’s done so now I can relax.”
Now she has documented the painful reality of her “tweaking” with the brutal images showing her squinting eyes as she lay on her hospital bed.
Katie donned a cream hoodie to stay cosy during the procedure and pulled her raven locks into a high bun.
Her recovery will no doubt have been brightened by the arrival of her boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, into the hospital ward.
The duo, who are continually surrounded with split rumours, were all smiles, with Married At First Sight alum JJ seen topless in the bed as he flashed a huge grin.
Earlier on, Katie took to her Instagram page to reveal she was “off to Turkey.”
And prior to her procedure on her Snapchat page she told how she had to wait a few hours for blood test results before the procedure.
She then posted another update as she was wheeled to the operating room, telling her followers: “Just to inform you all, I’m now going down for my operation. Nice and calm.”
While Katie hasn’t confirmed exactly what tweaks she’s having done, she recently admitted her face lift left her with botched ears.
Sources close to the star claimed she was unhappy with her “pixie ears” following the surgery.

Closer Magazine reported: “Katie is heading to Turkey for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears.
“She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out.”
Reflecting on Katie’s “obsession” with surgery, the source continued: “Friends think Katie has gone too far.
“They feel like she’s obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in.”
