AN abandoned 50,000 capacity stadium is set to be demolished after years of neglect.
The Za Luzankami Stadium in the Czech Republic was once the biggest stadium in Czechoslovakia, now it has sat empty for years and is in line to be resigned to the history books within the next year.

The former home of FC Zbrojcka Brno, Za Luzankami has hosted international fixtures and even holds the record for the highest-attended game in the history of the Czech first league.
However, after the modernisation of stadiums and updates to Fifa and Czech FA criteria for the quality of grounds, Zbrojcka were forced to leave their historic home in 2001.
In 2012, plans were drawn up to allow Zbrojovka to return thanks to the reconstruction of the stadium, but amid financial concerns, the project was put on hold.
Now plans are in place to finally demolish the ground after authorities decided to remove the colossal building back in 2023.
According to Czech outlet Brno Daily, the city council are currently looking for a contractor to demolish the stands after areas surrounding the ground have been closed due to safety reasons.
It’s claimed that the demolition could happen as early as October of this year, but must be completed by February 2026 at the latest.
Reports claim that the cost of demolishing the derelict arena are expected to reach around £5.7MILLION.

For now, the stadium remains in its overgrown state of disrepair until the the demolition is completed.
Plans have outlined how the ground will be grassed over and become freely accessible to the public once it has been knocked to the ground.
While there is already thought to be dialogue over further development of the area in the future.
Fortunately fans already got to say their emotional farewell to the stadium in 2015, after Zbrojovka captain Petr Svancara took it upon himself to start a crowdfunding project to allow a goodbye game.
His campaign, which was backed by fans, eventually saw the stadium reopen in 2015 for 35,000 fans to watch one final match.
Svancara, who once revealed there was a crack running underneath the ground, discussed the dire state of the stadium in an interview with The Guardian.
He said: “When we came back for the first time, you could have shot a beautiful horror film there…
“The stadium had started to crumble and it was for political reasons.
“It needed reconstruction but nobody would take care of it. The club was moved to Srbska and Luzanky was filled with trees and bushes.
“Homeless people lived in the stands, and the vegetation that started to take over even became home for some rare species of bird.
“There was one funny pheasant that we ousted from the stadium when we came back but it kept returning several times – he simply came back home.
“Leaving Luzanki divided the fans into two groups – one of which loved Luzanky too much and did not want to go to another stadium
“That was the case with the older generation in particular. It hurt the identity of the club enormously.”

BIANCA Censori has once again turned heads in a skimpy outfit that left her nearly nude while out in New York City.
The Australian-born wife of rapper Kanye West hit the town in a string bikini made of candied lollies, complete with matching underwear and silver stilettos.

The couple were spotted heading into the Mercer Hotel in New York’s Soho district.
Ye, as the rapper now prefers to be called, followed closely behind his second wife wearing a white hoodie and black jeans.
Bianca and Kanye walked into the hotel from a luxury Mercedes-Maybach car.
Onlookers looked stunned at Bianca’s bold display with many snapping pics of her with their smartphones as she walked by.
Bianca is no stranger to capturing people’s attention with her barely-there outfits.
Just last week in Los Angeles, Bianca who is the head architect for her husband’s company YEEZY, was seen wearing a plunging nude bodysuit and some white furry boots.
Ditching a bra for the occasion, Bianca’s nipples were visible through the nude bodysuit, which also had a plunging neckline.
This solo outing comes after we revealed earlier this month that Bianca has started her own business empire.
The U.S. Sun revealed at the start of June that Bianca recently set up her first U.S. company.
The model’s company is called Bianca Censori Inc.
It was registered last month with the state of California.
The architect also registered her full name Bianca Censori as an Australian firm, based in Alphington.
Alphington is an affluent Melbourne suburb where her parents currently live.

WITH the UK enjoying hot weather this weekend, plenty of us will be spending more time outside in our garden.
And as much as we want our furry friends to join us, dog owners are being warned of the potentially fatal things lurking on your plot.
GettyExperts have revealed the common garden essentials that could be poisoning your dog[/caption]
Many people spend more time gardening in the summer, using fertiliser to help their gardens bloom.
But as Ross Hallifax, from pet insurance specialist Purely Pets, explains: “Not only can dogs experience skin and foot irritation if they walk on fertiliser, but it can cause stomach upset if ingested due to its toxic ingredients like nitrogen and phosphorus.”
But it’s not just fertiliser that can cause a problem for our pooches.
Used to help control unwanted garden visitors, both dry and wet pesticides can also be dangerous to your dog and irritate their skin and digestive system if consumed.
Snail and slug bait can also be highly toxic and if consumed, can cause severe tremors.
And for those refreshing their garden shed or outdoor space this summer, be careful of paint.
Both the fumes released during painting, and the product itself, can be toxic to our pets due to its high-chemical content.
If you suspect your dog has ingested something they shouldn’t have, look out for signs of vomiting, diarrhoea, hyperactivity or restlessness, tremors, seizures, or fits, or blood in the stool.
Ross adds: “If you suspect your dog has been exposed to any of these toxins, try to call your vet immediately and explain what’s happened so they can help identify the best course of treatment.”
Dr Sarah-Jane Molier told Pets Radar: “Tarmac, asphalt and fake grass are the most common culprits.
“They absorb heat throughout the day and retain it well, meaning they stay hot for quite some time.”
It may not always easy to tell when your dog has injured itself.
Owners should look out for any limping or resting of one leg that switches between the two.
Vet Dr. Rachel Siu reveals the 5 dogs she'd never own
By Marsha O'Mahony
HUSKY
Beautiful, intelligent, and super-active, like a Border Collie, a Husky is a working dog and likes to keep busy.
If you lead a sedentary life, then this guy is not for you, and you are not for him.
It should be no surprise that Huskies love the cold – look at that coat of fur. So, living in 110 degrees in Texas is pretty grim for these dogs.
DACHSHUND
Adorable, cute, funny, and they can be very expensive.
The basic physiology of these sausage dogs does them no favours. “Because of their long backs, they’re really prone to intervertebral disc disease,” said Dr. Rachel.
You would be wise to keep a pot of money aside just in case because back surgery is likely to be expensive.
GREAT DANE
These lolloping, loving, and gregarious dogs are “goofballs.”
But they have short lifespans, developing health issues early on in life. Prepare yourself for heartbreak.
DOODLE
These are the current “it” dog, they are everywhere. They can be mixed with pretty much any other breed.
Their popularity has soared in recent years, with pet owners attracted to their low maintenance and hypoallergenic qualities.
But this couldn’t be further from the truth, said our vet.
“These dogs are often mixed with shedding dogs so they do shed and they also need grooming very frequently,” she wrote.
Their temperament is unpredictable and she has seen some that are wonderful to work with and others who have serious behavioral problems.
BULLDOGS
These guys are adorable but they have serious respiratory problems. Genetics are not on the side of any brachycephalic dog.
“I just would not own them,” she said. “They’re just not a healthy breed. They struggle to breathe with their smooshed faces.”
Like the Dachshund, they also suffer from intervertebral disc disease.
If your canine companion doesn’t get excited for going on a walk, it could also be a sign.
They will often lick or chew their wounded paws, and be hesitant to let you touch them.
Some more obvious signs include patchy discolouration on the pads as well as blisters and peeling.
If you think your dog has burned paws, take them to the vet.

The Ayatollah has refused to back down even in the face of the US’s decisive actionAFPPutin will be eager for Iran to disrupt the global oil industryAP
While Israel has stamped out much of Iran’s power in the Middle East, it still has formidable allies with similarly anti-west interests.
Experts believe Trump’s strikes could force the axis of evil closer together and set in motion a chain of events that embroils more countries in the conflict.
Philip Ingram, a global defence expert, told The Sun: “Iranian ballistic missiles will not reach the United States and therefore to try and respond to the United States attack Iran‘s going to have to do something different.
“It’ll bring its axis of evil. That means Iran, Russia, North Korea and China.
“We are a couple of feet further up the escalation ladder towards a global conflict.”
North Korea showed its willingness to get involved with other wars when Kim sent 12,000 troops over to fight on Russia‘s front line with Ukraine.
With Iran increasingly desperate, North Korea could step in and provide military aid such as “missile technology“, Ingram said.
Russia has been one of Iran’s most vocal allies, and has warned all along that regime change would be “unacceptable”.
The Kremlin said the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader would “open the Pandora’s box”.
Ingram said that “Iran and Russia will join forces to try and cause as much disruption in different countries as possible.”
Russia is well-versed in the dark arts, and has propagated a campaign of sabotage against the West, so would have plenty to teach Iran.
Forcing Iran and Russia closer together is not the only way US strikes could impact on Putin.
Ingram said: “The escalating conflict helps Russia by moving Russia-Ukraine further down the agenda so that people aren’t focusing on it.
“It also ties up international geopolitical organisations and politicians in a complex Middle East situation – so again they don’t have the capacity to focus on what Russia’s doing in Ukraine.”
Chip Chapman said that the most immediate threat to western allies would be if Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz – which could even see the UK dragged into the conflict.
He said: “20 percent of the world’s oil runs through the strait. Closing it could have huge implications for the oil price.
“And that’s where the Brits may get involved. If the Iranians were to try and close the Strait of Hormuz, there would be a definite ask from the Americans to the Brits.”
APPresident Donald Trump ordered major strikes against Iranian nuclear targets[/caption]
GettyIran struck back almost immediately with waves of missiles into Israel – causing serious damage in Tel Aviv[/caption]
Russia would likely back Iran’s decision to close the strait, because an increase in oil prices would help fund its activities, Ingram explained.
For many years Iran enjoyed considerable power in the Middle East through its proxies across the region.
Two of the key players were Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon – but over the past 20 months Israel has seriously crippled them.
However, Ingram says the Houthis in Yemen still pose a threat to the world other.
He said: “I think we will see a massive uptake in Houthi activity in disrupting international shipping in the Red Sea.”
Experts have also warned that the strikes could prove a “slippery slope” and commit the US to pursuing more extreme military goals in Iran – such as overthrowing the regime.
EPAHouthi supporters hold anti-US and Israel placards during a protest this week[/caption]
ReutersMissiles launched from Iran are intercepted following the US strikes[/caption]
Laura Blumenfeld, a Middle East analyst at the Johns Hopkins School, said: “Beware mission creep, aiming for regime change and democratization campaigns.
“You’ll find the bones of many failed US moral missions buried in Middle East sands.”
US-driven regime change would likely drive a wedge further between the West and the Islamic world – as was the case with Iraq – the experts suggest.
Ingram said: “If there Ayatollah was killed it could change the whole way the government is set up in Iran, like we had with the fall of the Shah.
“Then you whatever comes in next could be worse than what’s in now and more polarised.”
The US strikes could also prove a spark to other flash points around the world – such as the China-Taiwan tensions.
Ingram said “China will likely sit back and wait to see what’s happening, to begin with.
“Xi Jinping might think the international community is so tied up in the Middle East, that he has a window of opportunity, and he might try and take Taiwan.
“The world is not just a more febrile place, but the potentials for a series of events to happen to take us into a global conflict have just become even more complex to try and analyse.
“We haven’t moved away from conflict. We have moved away from a despot regime getting towns on nuclear weapons, but it’s not made the world immediately safer.
“What happens over the coming days and weeks will let us understand as to whether we have moved back from the brink of a global conflict or move further forward.”

THE world is waiting with baited breath for Tehran’s response to Donald Trump’s strikes on three key nuclear facilities.

ReutersUS President Donald Trump holds a meeting in the Situation Room at the White House in Washington[/caption]
After declaring the US strikes as being a success, Trump warned that further action could be taken if Tehran doesn’t agree to an adequate peace deal.
But Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has warned that Tehran “reserves all options” in defending itself and that the blitz “will have everlasting consequences”.
Fears loom of what Iran’s next move is, with some experts warning of retaliation by hostage kidnapping of Americans, launching crippling cyber-attacks or cutting off oil supply.
US sites decimated
A simple response from Iran would be the decimation of US sites in the Middle East using its arsenal of ballistic missiles.
At least 50 Iranian missiles are thought to have struck down in Israel during the ten days of conflict.
But more than 450 have been intercepted by Israel’s sophisticated air defences, along with around 1,000 drones, according to the latest figures from the Israeli military.
Iranian preparations for missile strikes on US military bases in the Middle East have been exposed by American intelligence officers, anonymous officials told the New York Times.
There are over 20 bases across the region – the majority of which are within 2,000km range of Iran’s Sejil-2 ballistic missile.
US bases in Iraq and Syria would potentially be targeted first, according to The Telegraph.
American officials said that F-22, F-16 and F-35 fighter jets had been positioned in the Middle East – prime targets for Tehran missiles.
Major general Chip Chapman told The Sun how the bases represent key targets for Iran.
He said: “It could be that they do some sort of minimal strike on one or two bases, not a theatre-wide strike, which would involve Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, all the American bases throughout the region.
“And we know from the UK perspective that the 20 plots, Iranian inspired plots against, Iranian dissidents.
“So you could see that against Israeli targets, a wide geographic region that’s that prolonged, sporadic, conflict.
“It is if you had that, that people would more overtly, I think, talk about regime change in general.”
Fears loom that Iran could even strike US embassies and consulates.
Several sources revealed to Sky News that the US embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, is likely to be attacked.
Sponsored terror attacks
Iran has not hid the fact it uses its network of regional proxies as defence.
ReutersSmoke rises following an Israeli attack in Tehran, Iran[/caption]
GettyMissiles fired from Iran in retaliation for Israeli attacks are seen in the sky over the Hebron, West Bank[/caption]
EPAHouthi supporters attend a ceremony marking the Shiite religious Day[/caption]
Infamous Hezbollah and Hamas have been effectively keeping the Israeli military occupied – steering attention away from Iran.
And Yemen’s Houthis have also provided distraction to the West by relentlessly targeting commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
The group already vowed to target US ships if Washington launched an attack on Iran just hours before Trump’s nuke blitz – with the threat now potentially becoming a reality.
The Houthis had halted its attacks on US shipping containers after Trump boosted strikes on the group.
Crippling cyber attack
Iran and its regional proxies have claimed responsibility for various crippling cyber attacks on Israel.
Data has been destroyed and phishing campaigns launched in the past – meaning another cyber attack in response to the nuclear sites blitz could be on the cards.
The US government has desperately worked to gather information on Iranian hackers responsible for previous attacks due to the grave threats to defence.
An eye-watering $10 million reward was uploaded for details on a group known as CyberAv3ngers who US officials have tracked down to having links to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
But experts have warned that Iran could struggle to actually launched large-scale cyber attacks when its regime is under extreme threat – like now.
Choking shipping lanes
Arguably Tehran’s most powerful weapon against the West is the Strait of Hormuz.
The narrow path of water between Oman and Iran is vital in the global supply of oil.
Major general Chapman told The Sun that the Islamic Republic could just shut down access to the Strait and cripple shipping through the area.
He said: “The worst case from the allies perspective, America and everyone else, is that the Iranians go towards a posture of closing the Strait of Hormuz.
“20 per cent of the world’s oil runs through that. And as of today, the price of a barrel of oil, Brant crude was $77.
“Now that is where the Brits may get involved, because one of the things about the British posture in the region and the opposition, it’s been a longstanding British, operation in the Persian Gulf and the wider Middle East is that we have mine countermeasure vessels, co-located with the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
“If the Iranians were to try and close the Strait of Hormuz, that those would be a definite ask by the Americans to the Brits.
“The Iranian oil goes to China, it goes to India, places like that. They’re the ones who would suffer.”
Oil field blitzed
Iran has the potential to pull what’s been dubbed the “last big card” and launch an attack on vital energy infrastructure in the Gulf that powers the globe.
In 2019, two major Saudi Arabian oil plants, one in Abqaiq, Bugayg, and its second largest oilfield in Khurais, where engulfed in flames after a drone attack.
The Houthi rebels claimed responsibility for the attack – but the US and Saudi governments accused Iran of orchestrating it behind closed doors.

APSmoke rises from the building of Iran’s state-run television after an Israeli strike in Tehran[/caption]
The Khurais oilfield was producing around one per cent of the world’s oil and Abqaiq is the largest facility and could produce seven per cent of the global supply.
This caused global energy prices to spike, and temporarily binned half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production.
Chaos unfolding
After declaring the US strikes as being a success, Trump warned that further action could be taken if Tehran doesn’t agree to an adequate peace deal.
“Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes. There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight.”
And shortly after speaking on-camera, he posted to Truth Social: “This cannot continue. There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.
“Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight’s was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal.
“But if peace does not come quickly we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill.”
Meanwhile Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Arghchi dubbed the strikes “outrageous and will have everlasting consequences”.
He also called the military action “a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations”.
Arghchi added: “Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior.
“In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people.”
A response from Iran, or from the Ayatollah in hiding, has not yet come.
Two informed sources inside the country told Iran International the country’s ageing dictator is holed up in the bunker in Lavizan, a neighbourhood in Tehran.
“Iranian ballistic missiles will not reach the United States and therefore to try and respond to the United States attack Iran’s going to have to do something different.
“It’ll bring its coalition of the willing that it has together or as we call them the axis of evil. So we’ve got Iran, Russia, North Korea and China.
“China will likely sit back and wait to see what’s happening, to begin with. But North Korea may provide Iran with some missile technology.
“Russia is sitting there laughing all the way to the bank effectively.
“The escalating conflict helps Russia by moving Russia-Ukraine further down the agenda so that people aren’t focusing on it.
“Iran and Russia will join forces to try and cause as much disruption in different countries as possible through protest and through disinformation.
“There will be two reactions directly out of Iran. One, the stimulation of their proxy organisations that they have operating across the world. Hamas and Hezbollah have been largely destroyed by Israel.
“But they’ve still got the Houthis in Yemen. I think we will see a massive uptake in Houthi activity in disrupting international shipping in the Red Sea.
“The other reaction could be trying to close the Straits of Hormuz. 30 percent of the world’s oil and gas goes through there.
“Even a threat to close it will put energy prices spiking to a level that will make the spike we saw when Russia invaded Ukraine seem like small change.”

Dennis Priestley, a two-time world champion, claimed the pair “let their country down” and said they did not deserve their MBE status as they were too young.
Northern Ireland thrower Neil Duff, the WDF world champion in 2022, followed up that criticism by writing online in a sarcastic tone: “How’s England doing?”
His home country, led by Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney, ended up winning the trophy in Frankfurt.
These latest comments riled Littler, 18, who responded on his Instagram Story with the caption “How’s Neil Duff doing?” followed with a smiley face emoji.
The post, which was available to up to TWO MILLION accounts, used an image of Duff losing 4-1 to Martin Thomas in the MODUS Super Series darts event on Saturday night.
Littler also posted a social media message that screamed: Thomas sends Duff packing!

HUNDREDS of villagers fear house prices will plunge after four travellers’ camps with unauthorised buildings and vehicles sprung up around their properties.
Residents of the pretty hamlet of Collins Green, near Warrington, Cheshire, spoke out just weeks after the latest site appeared just over a mile away from their properties.

SWNSFour travellers’ camps with unauthorised buildings and vehicles have sprung up in the area[/caption]
SWNSLocal residents are fearful that the sites could impact the prices of their homes[/caption]
Shocking before and after pictures showed how travellers transformed a plot of green belt land in Burtonwood, Cheshire into a car park in just 72 hours earlier this month.
Residents of the hamlet, which has a population of less than 500 people, say they now feel “trapped” after a total of four sites have been built close to them since 2017.
All four sites, which are located on green belt land, sit around a mile apart and all have unauthorised buildings and vehicles on them including Penkford Lane which is home to 24 caravans.
The plots’ land owners have all had planning applications refused by Warrington Borough Council leaving residents “furious”.
Local residents are fearful to talk about the impact on their homes but say that vandalism and theft is a concern.
They are also angry at the blatant flouting of planning and development regulations.
One said: “Will the council tax be reduced in our area as property values will drop?
“We have four caravan parks near Collins Green, all have started built without planning
“You don’t build then apply – it is unbelievable.
“Over the years I have been here there have been a number of planning applications refused.”
Another said: “We are surrounded by travellers.
“Traffic is horrendous on Penkford Lane – residents are most concerned for their safety and house prices are dropping.”
A spokesperson from Warrington Borough Council has told that there are “ongoing investigations into all of the sites” with “formal notices” served on the Penkford Lane and Broad Lane developments.
They have said the Broad Lane development is also “subject to an appeal to the Secretary of State”.
The spokesperson added: “As with all reported breaches of planning control, we investigate and take action when it is necessary to do so.”
The first 1.6 acre site appeared in 2017 in Pennington Lane in which change of use was granted retrospectively but further applications have been denied.
Images now show a house, three unidentified buildings, two stables, two caravans, three cars, and two vans protected by a 10-foot wooden fence.
The second site, just 50 metres away on Penkford Lane, was granted change of use with two static caravans and two trailers in 2020, but further applications for three caravans and six pitches were refused.
The council said the proposals were “unacceptable” and “constitutes inappropriate” development to the green belt.
Images now show 24 caravans, a fully renovated two-storey house, a van, and six cars sat on hard standing well as a 10 foot wooden fence surrounding the exterior at the location tagged Broad Oak Residential Park after a sign was erected.
The third 1.6 acre site on Broad Lane was bought in 2023 and an application for change of use was denied but nine caravans can be seen at the site.
SWNSThe travellers have been building on green-belt land[/caption]
SWNSThe land was converted into a car park in just 72 hours[/caption]
The latest site at Burtonwood was bought just a few weeks ago and half the green field site was quickly covered in gravel with a number of vehicles parked there without permission.
Travellers caused outrage after buying the six-acre green belt field and turning it into a gravel car park within 72 hours.
Before and after photos revealed how the plot was transformed over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
In just three days a 10ft-high wooden fence was erected along the boundary and half of the field was covered in hard core and gravel.
Pictures showed 13 caravans, four vans, a digger and three cars parked on the hardcore.
Following the unauthorised work a retrospective planning application has been submitted to the local council.
The council have said they have yet to receive a full planning application from the land owner.
A Warrington Borough Council spokesperson said: “We are aware of the potential breach of planning control on land off Farmers Lane in Burtonwood, and are currently investigating the issue.
“The national planning system allows for an application to be made retrospectively, and we understand that the developer may seek to submit a valid planning application.
“The fact that works have already been undertaken will not influence or affect any decision. An application would still need to be considered against the Warrington Local Plan policies, with consideration given to any other material issues.
“We appreciate that there may be strong feeling within the community in relation to the works undertaken and, subsequently, to any related planning application.
“Any representations should be made in writing to the council, based on the details submitted within a valid application, so that they can be considered in the decision-making process.
“In the meantime, we will continue to monitor and investigate the situation on-site.”

Cheryl Thomasgood, then 34, jetted away from her second husband and three children to marry Daniel Lekimencho weeks after meeting him in Kenya.

The couple first lay eyes on each other at the Bamburi Beach Hotel in Mombasa.
Cheryl quickly traded in her suburban life on the Isle of Wight and relocated there with the 6ft 2-inch-tall Kenyan warrior – who was ten years her junior.
Her son Stevie Liddington, now 43, has broken his silence on the ordeal in light of his mother’s comments earlier this month.
But Stevie, who was 11 when Cheryl left, told the Mail he is “ashamed to call her my mother” and “deeply disgusted”.
“My mother did not just abandon her family in the 1990s – she ruined our childhoods,” he said.
“She left behind three children, including me, and never looked back in any meaningful or supportive way.
“She was never the kind of mother who cared about her children’s emotional well-being, and even now, decades later, she continues to show who she truly is by dragging this all up again without a thought for the people it hurts.”
Stevie has relocated with his wife and children to Seoul, in South Korea, and hasn’t spoken to Cheryl in 10 years.
He told how his brother moved to Canada, and similarly has little contact with their mum.
In harrowing tales, Stevie revealed his childhood had been traumatic before Daniel arrived on the scene.
His father, Robert Liddington, had left the home when he was five-years-old, which saw Cheryl spiral into a mental breakdown.
Stevie and his younger brother were temporarily placed in foster care after they “saw things no child should ever witness” – including Cheryl holding a knife to her own neck.
He recalled Cheryl’s second husband, Mike Mason, stepping up and giving the family stability.

But their happiness was shattered beyond repair with “one phone call” from Kenya when Cheryl said she was never coming home.
Stevie’s trauma only deepened after the case sparked a media frenzy, which he claimed his mother loved to fuel.
He refuted her expressions of regret and said she’d never taken accountability properly.
The web designer claimed her comments were filled with lies, including the impression Daniel was loved by the kids.
“We were not ‘taken’ with him. He was a stranger in our home who could barely speak English,” he said.
“Their relationship was violent, chaotic. I remember physical fights between the two.”
Cheryl and Daniel had welcomed a daughter together, Misti, in 1998.
Stevie said he was often left to look after his half-sister, when Cheryl would go missing for days.
“I’d walk the parks for hours with Misti in her buggy, praying to whoever was listening that my mum wasn’t dead,” he added.
Stevie revealed Misti and Cheryl are still in contact with each other and there is no bad blood.
His brother, who relocated to Canada, also has an on-and-off relationship with Cheryl.
But Stevie is insistent he must keep the door closed with “narcissistic” Cheryl – who he slammed should “never have been a mother”.
CHERYL’S REGRET
Cheryl and her new partner made headlines across the globe with people left gobsmacked at her decision to abandon the comfortable middle-class life for a new home and partner in rural Kenya.
She traded it in to help the warrior cook, clean and hunt, sleeping on goatskin and surviving on a diet of cow’s blood and cabbage in a mud hut.
But the bizarre couple eventually to leave Kenya behind returned to the Isle of Wight in 1995.
They tied the knot on Valentine’s Day, both wearing traditional Masai clothing.
But more than three decades later, Cheryl has broken her silence after the marriage fell apart – when she claimed Daniel became obsessed with wealth.
She described feeling used as a “meal ticket” in an emotional interview with the MailOnline.
“I made a huge mistake, it was very wrong of me, and I have a lot of regrets, especially about how it damaged my children,” she said.
Cheryl split with Daniel in 1999 just four years after they were married and one year after their daughter was born.
Now, 65-year-old Cheryl lives alone in a seaside town in Somerset where she is well known among the local community.
She has kept her controversial past hidden from the community with none of her friends aware of the bizarre relationship she once had with the Masai warrior.
MARRIAGE BREAKDOWN
Cheryl has now told how shortly after arriving in the UK Daniel became obsessed with material things and money.
She detailed how Daniel quickly became moody and miserable over the couples lot in life, wanting more money and more possessions, changed by life in the UK.
Cheryl recalled the only time Daniel being happy was when the Kenyan warrior was jumping around in the garden doing his traditional Masai dance.
She added: “He would say that he was getting ready for battle and wanted to jump as high as an elephant. The kids loved it, but it got on my nerves after a while.”
Trying to pinpoint what went wrong in the peculiar relationship Cheryl blamed a slew of drastic cultural differences between her and her husband.
She reportedly felt that adjusting to life in the UK was too tough for Daniel and his struggles assimilating, combined with the pressure on the pair to make their relationship work, led to the eventual end of their marriage.
Cheryl admitted that she suffered sexual abuse as a young girl and spoke about the harrowing difficulties she faced growing up in a dysfunctional London household with alcoholic parents, she was reportedly contemplating suicide at the time she met Daniel.
She revealed how she was urged to go on her Kenyan holiday by a friend who was in the same church choir as her, the pair went on the holiday that would change her life forever together.
When Cheryl went to Kenya she was at a low point in her life she said, suffering with childhood trauma and stuck in an unhappy marriage to her second husband Mike.
She had seen Daniel was an answer to her problems, believing he could help her heal and find peace through spirituality.
Cheryl now admits that her love affair with the Masai warrior was just an escape from her problems and not an answer to them.
MOVING ON
Asked about what she regrets the most about her time with her warrior toy boy, Cheryl said: “The impact all this had on my children. Having a Masai warrior as a father was not easy for them. Daniel was trying his best, but he could never understand the Western ways and couldn’t be the dad that they needed.”
Cheryl said that her children had missed out on having a proper father figure in their lives because of her relationship with Daniel and the break down of her first two marriages.
Despite having no contact with Daniel, Cheryl maintained she still has good relationships with all of her children, referring to her daughter Mitsi as “the one good thing” to come out of her and Daniel’s strange and difficult marriage.
Following the pair’s split, Masai warrior Daniel remained on the Isle of Wight where he now works in a supermarket.
