But the image, believed to be taken in Meghan’s kitchen in Montecito, California, seems to have accidentally revealed more than intended.
At first glance, the post looks polished and charming.
A handwritten note sits neatly in the centre of the picture on a marble worktop, reading: “You’re beautiful. Full stop.”
The note is surrounded by sprigs of thyme, two eggs, a rolling pin and scattered flour, with Meghan’s hand peeking into the bottom left corner of the image.
However, fans quickly noticed something that seemed out of place – a small black mouse cursor just above Meghan’s hand on the left edge of the picture.
The digital slip suggests the image may have been taken as a screen grab, rather than a fresh photograph.
Followers took to social media to comment on the tiny detail.
One user posted on Twitter: “Eagle eye right there.”
Another wrote: “I didn’t even notice that, well spotted,” as the image gained attention online.
Others were excited to simply catch a glimpse behind the scenes of the Duchess’s latest project – a lifestyle venture that’s seen a wave of success since launching earlier this year.
The cursor blunder has drawn comparisons to another royal photo mishap.
Last year, the Princess of Wales came under fire for edits made to an official family photo, sparking widespread speculation and criticism.
Now, Meghan’s oversight has led some to call this her own “take two” moment.
It follows another incident at the start of the year when Meghan made her long-awaited return to social media.
On New Year’s Day, she posted a video of herself barefoot on the beach, writing “2025” in the sand.
But sharp-eyed viewers spotted an earlier attempt already written nearby – suggesting the scene may have required a few takes.
One follower quipped: “Wonder how many it took to get the perfect shot?” while others noticed multiple footprints in the background that hinted at previous runs.
This week’s Instagram post came as Meghan launched three new items under her As Ever brand – a Napa Valley rosé wine, an apricot spread, and a limited-edition orange blossom honey.
In her caption, she wrote: “It’s true. From our hearts to your homes, thank you for being here. You’re the sweetest part of what we do!”
The new wine is Meghan’s first move into the drinks market, described by the brand as having “soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality and a lasting finish”.
The 2023 rosé will be available to buy from 1 July, just in time for summer.
The new honey – priced at £21 – is said to have a “beautiful golden hue” and “delicate floral notes with subtle citrus undertones”.
It sold out quickly, along with the apricot spread, which comes in either a keepsake jar (£10) or a standard pot (£7).
The brand also brought back several items from its first collection, including raspberry spread, herbal teas, flower sprinkles and shortbread cookie mix.
Most of the original items sold out within an hour of launch.
Meghan originally announced the brand earlier this year under the name American Riviera Orchard, but changed it after a trademark dispute.
Explaining the name switch, she said: “Last year, I had thought, ‘American Riviera’, that sounds like such a great name… but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area.”
She added: “As Ever essentially means as it’s always been… If you’ve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I’ve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do.”
Now, as her followers continue to grow – with her personal account @meghan already boasting over 3.9 million – every post she shares is under the spotlight.
And as this latest image proves, no detail, however small, escapes notice.

RACING driver Rolf Scheibner was rushed to hospital after a terrifying crash at the Nurburgring – a course which even Formula One champion Max Verstappen once dubbed “too dangerous.”
Scheibner’s Aston Martin was sent spinning in a high-speed horrific collision during a 24 hour race at the infamous German track, which has seen an estimated 170 deaths from both public and private races since its opening in 1927.

The ace, who has since been given the all-clear by docs, was taken out by rival Kevin Estre during a tight turn at the Nurburgring.
Scheibner was in control of the track when Estre, behind the wheel of a Porsche 911, snuck up the inside of the bend.
Neither man relented as both cars flew round the track.
But as they took the turn, the nose of Estre’s vehicle made contact with Scheibner’s car.
And it turned the Aston Martin sideways before Scheibner went ploughing into a barrier.
The force of the collision saw his motor spin upside down before hurtling back across the track.
But Scheibner was amazingly able to escape from his Aston Martin, which was left severely damaged.
He was then rushed to hospital for precautionary checks and released after getting the all clear from medical professionals.
However, Estre ended up in hot water and was even confronted by some of Scheibner’s teammates when summoned to see the stewards.
He was given a telling off for his role in the crash and was hit with a 100 second penalty.

Patrick has now spoken out about being blindsided to the extent that things might get sexual.
He has revealed that he knew “where it could go” in regards to sex scenes and being nude, but didn’t realize the extent of where it might end up.
“When I was auditioning, they had said, ‘Are you okay with, know, performing things sexually? Are you okay being nude at times?’, he told CBS in a new interview.
“So, I knew an idea of where it could go,” he confessed.
Patrick added: “I didn’t know to what extent the show would go.”
Patrick’s dad Arnold has said that he didn’t recognize his son in the role.
He said it was “wild” watching his son in the series, with him also feeling immense pride, too.
“It was really so amazing to watch his performance because I almost didn’t recognise him,” he said in a chat with the BBC.
“There were so many things that I’ve never seen before, and I said, ‘Where did this come from?’”
He then said how he felt “so proud” of his son and gushed over how he has “become such an extraordinary actor”.
In Patrick’s CBS interview, he confessed: “It would be a little bit alarming if he did recognize a lot of those characteristics,” speaking about his dad’s comments.

Now, the publication reports that the former couple have divided up their properties once again, amid her new romance.

Outdoors, the property boasts a heated swimming pool as well as an annexe with its own bathroom, which could serve as either a guest house or a ‘summer entertainment space’

EFFORTS are under way to evacuate 15 Irish citizens from Israel, Tanaiste Simon Harris has said.
The Foreign Affairs Minister confirmed that an operation was ongoing to evacuate 15 Irish citizens and their dependants from Israel, working with EU member states.

He said they were working with a smaller number of citizens in Iran who had requested an evacuation.
Around 29 Irish citizens in Iran had registered with the Irish embassy and around 200 in Israel.
Mr Harris said he spoke to Iran’s deputy foreign minister on Sunday, at their request, who was “full of anger”.
Talking to the reporters at Government Buildings, he said: “He did say to me that it was the view of Iran that the aggressors would have to learn lessons and pay a price.
“Of course I articulated in the strongest possible terms that Ireland and the European Union doesn’t want to see that, we want to see people step back from the brink and engage in dialogue.”
Mr Harris said the US strikes on Iran had made a “volatile situation even more dangerous” and added an “extra layer of complexity” to what was already a “tinderbox”.
Taoiseach Micheal Martin and Harris have both called for an “urgent” de-escalation and a negotiated solution over Iran’s nuclear facilities.
They said they are in close contact with their European counterparts before a meeting of EU foreign leaders on Monday and of EU leaders later in the week.
The Fianna Fail leader said: “Diplomacy and dialogue is ultimately the only way to resolve these issues.
“Iran should commit not to develop nuclear weapons and disavow its nuclear and uranium enrichment programme.
“Nuclear safety is an issue here, modern warfare is very destructive. It is civilians who ultimately suffer, and that is why we need an end to these wars and bring an end to conflict.”
He said: “We shouldn’t lose sight of the catastrophe that is still unfolding in Gaza while the war between Iran and Israel continues.
“What is happening in Gaza is appalling and a breach of international humanitarian law, and again, innocent civilians and children are being starved there, and we need that to come to an end.”
Staff from Ireland’s embassy in Tehran left the country on Friday as the embassy was closed, and updates are being provided on more than 300 Irish peacekeepers stationed in Lebanon.
Harris said there were no plans to withdraw Irish troops and that “decisions are being made constantly” to ensure their safety.
‘VOLATILE CONFLICT’
When asked whether he supported US President Donald Trump’s strikes on Iran, Harris said: “I think it’s resulted in an extraordinarily dangerous escalation of a conflict that already best be described as a tinderbox.
“We’re now entering a moment of particular danger, because I think the chances now of a spiral of escalation are more likely than ever before, and there is a real prospect now of the international community losing all control of this very, very volatile conflict.”
He said there was only a “very small” number of Irish citizens, many dual nationals, seeking an evacuation, and they were working with European counterparts.
He said a significant update on this would be available in the hours ahead.
‘EXTRAORDINARILY DANGEROUS TIME’
Speaking on RTE Radio, he said: “Thank God we woke this morning to the International Atomic Energy Agency saying they haven’t detected any increase in radiation.
“But imagine if we were waking up this morning to a situation where radiation levels were extraordinarily high, and the health and human danger that that would have presented far beyond Iran as well. So this is an extraordinarily dangerous time.”
He said that it was “sadly true” that international legal norms are not being adhered to, citing the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Israel’s “genocidal activity” in Palestine and now the Iran-Israel conflict.
He said there was a diplomatic process in train and his understanding from readouts was “there was a commitment from the Iranian side to further talks”.
POSSESSION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS
Harris said Ireland and Europe are “fully united in the clear view” that Iran should not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
“The way to address this was always through a negotiated solution. Any alternative to that is simply too dangerous for civilians, for the Middle East region and for global security.
“Together with my EU counterparts, we will in the coming hours and days discuss and review the latest developments and consider the next steps Europe can usefully play to support de-escalation.”
Minister for Culture Patrick O’Donovan said people woke up on Sunday “terrified, really, to be quite honest, about the prospect of what’s unfolding”.
‘TERRIFYING’
He told RTE’s The Week In Politics it is “terrifying” for citizens in Iran and Israel.
He said: “It does take great people to make leaps of faith in particular places in time to come forward, whether it was in relation to (Anwar el-Sadat) in Egypt, and later on in relation to Bill Clinton and what he did, we do now require people to actually get people around the table.
“Because, ultimately, as the Taoiseach said, this is terrifying – not only for the innocent communities that are living in both countries, but as well as that for the neighbouring countries in the Middle East, who we obviously all hope are not drawn into a much bigger conflict.”

But in a new twist, they will go head-to-head with a string of fresh presenters in the ultimate backyard battle.
Joining them for series 11 of the BBC One show are Diarmuid Gavin, Frances Tophill, Joe Swift and Sue Kent.
In each episode, one of the original designers will pitch their vision to a homeowner who is desperate for a garden glow-up.
Then one of the newcomers will offer a rival opinion, and just one idea will be taken forward.
A source said: “Garden Rescue is one of BBC Daytime’s most popular slots so it deserved a summer spruce.
“The new twist means as well as the usual imaginative solutions, gardening hacks and advice, Garden Rescue will be brimming with friendly competitive banter.
“Plus the new experts bring with them new ideas, creativity and flair which all helps keep the show fresh as it heads into series 11.”
The Garden Rescue cameras will also be revisiting past projects to see how homeowners have been using the their improved spaces.
Caroline O’Neill of BBC Daytime said: “It’s great to have such well-loved and hugely respected gardeners joining the team.
“Each bring their creative flair to their unique designs, making for the best competitions yet.”
For now, viewers can enjoy series 10 which is airing weekdays on BBC One at 3.45pm.

TWO people have been arrested after a man was shot dead outside a Costco earlier this week.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed it had now arrested the two individuals following the horrific shooting of the man, 41, in Croydon, south London, on Thursday.
Cops said they had arrested a 41-year-old man on suspicion of murder as well as a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender.
An investigation was launched after officers were called to the scene of the shooting shortly after 5pm on Thursday.
There, emergency crews found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite being treated by paramedics, he tragically died at the scene.
Police explained his next of kin had been informed and that they are currently being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Dan Whitten said: “My thoughts remain with the victim’s family as they come to terms with this tragic loss.
“Our team of specially trained officers continue to support them as our investigation progresses.
“We would urge any witnesses to come forward and share information with us.”
