ITV Daytime has found a budget new home after it was savaged by cuts.
The department is ditching its swanky West London HQ White City in favour of the basement of a former hospital.
The Sun can reveal ITV Daytime has landed a deal with Covent Garden venue The Hospital Club
The Sun can reveal bosses have landed a deal with Covent Garden venue The Hospital Club – which closed in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will all be filmed in the venue’s basement of the four story building.
A source said: “ITV are on a major budget saving mission and have landed a new deal to film ITV Daytime at what was The Hospital Club.
“It’s quite apt really as I’m sure they hope the move to the former hospital will breathe some life into their programme budgets.
“All three of their main shows, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be based there… in the basement where there’s a state of the art studio.”
“The changes are needed to keep up with the ever evolving world of TV but it’s a far cry from the plush life stars have become accustomed to at White City.”
An ITV source said: “We have always said that when the changes to our daytime schedule take place in 2026 that these programmes will find a new home. The new studio is not yet confirmed and when it is we will obviously communicate that news to our staff first”
Speaking about the cuts last month, Loose Woman Nadia Sawalha called the shake up “brutal”.
She said on her YouTube channel: “What’s been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people… are going to be made redundant out of the blue, these are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way.”
The shake up comes as streaming officially overtook cable and broadcast TV use in May.
Some 44.8 percent of TV viewership was through the newer media platforms.
It compares with 20.1 percent watching terrestrial TV — known as broadcast — and 24.1 percent tuning in to cable such as Sky.
It is the first time streamers have surpassed the combined total of their rival categories.

ARSENAL are searching for the missing piece to their puzzle, keen to add a deadly striker to their squad to help them go one step further than their three consecutive second place finishes.
That search appears to have returned two options – RB Lepizig’s Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Club’s Viktor Gyokeres.
GettyArsenal’s move for Benjamin Sesko is stalling[/caption]
GettyThe Gunners are keeping Viktor Gyokeres as their backup[/caption]
Mikel Arteta wants Sesko to be his big summer splash, but the Gunners have hit a stumbling block over wage demands.
The Slovenian’s camp are searching for a pay packet far in excess of what Arsenal are willing to pay the 22-year-old, an issue that is stalling a bid and could force a change of direction.
Gyokeres is Arsenal’s alternative option, with the Swede ready to leave Sporting after racking up an astonishing goalscoring record.
Gyokeres wants to move to the Premier League and is up for grabs this summer, but the 27-year-old is becoming aware he is a second choice.
Arsenal haven’t committed to either player yet and it looks like both are still viable options ahead of a crucial campaign for Arteta and his team.
Here SunSport breaks down how each player stacks up against one and other and who might be the best fit for the Gunners…
Benjamin Sesko
Age: 22
Club: RB Leipzig
24/25 apps: 45
24/25 goals: 21
24/25 assists: 6
GettySesko has been tipped to become one of the best strikers in the world[/caption]
Benjamin Sesko is regarded as one of the brightest sparks in world football, a young striker with the potential to be a world beater in the future.
That’s reflected in his numbers, stats that show he isn’t the finished article just yet, but a diamond that needs polishing by a top manager instead.
Sesko scored 21 goals from 45 appearances last season, six more than the return of any Arsenal player, but some way off the numbers that the top strikers across Europe put up.
He is playing in a league that is considered as one of the best in world football, with the Bundesliga’s reputation far better than the Portuguese top flight.
While he managed four goals in eight Champions League appearances last term, proving he can do it against the best with goals against Juventus, Atletico Madrid and indeed Gyokeres’ Sporting Lisbon.
In the Bundesliga, Sesko scored only 13 goals – comparable numbers to the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Luis Diaz in the Premier League.
But for what he might lack in clinical finishing, Sesko makes up for in raw ability.
Standing at an imposing 6ft 5in, the Slovenian is a physical specimen who can dominate in the air, unleash impressive pace when needed and offer support beyond finding space in the box.
Sesko scored twice against Juventus in the Champions LeagueThe striker influenced the game across the pitch
In fact, under 10 per cent of his touches came inside the box this season – a figure that will be appealing to Arteta as a manager who likes his players to be involved all over the pitch.
His aerial ability will also be another huge draw for Arteta and set piece coach Nicolas Jover, who will be dreaming of the damage the Gunners could do with Sesko’s leap in the box.
The striker shows off his monstrous leap every time he scores – jumping into the air and coming miles off the ground – and that ability has come in handy with 57.4 per cent aerial success rate last term.
Sesko might not be the finished article, but there’s buzz that he could one day be one of the best striker’s in the world.
Leipzig teammate Yusuf Poulsen already thinks he’s the best player he’s played alongside.
He said: “He’s the best I’ve played with. If you look at his abilities, he has everything a top number nine needs… strength, shooting, technique, everything.”
Viktor Gyokeres
Age: 27
Club: Sporting Lisbon
24/25 apps: 52
24/25 goals: 54
24/25 assists: 13
GettyViktor Gyokeres scored more goals than anyone else in Europe’s top 10 leagues last season[/caption]
If Benjamin Sesko is the unfinished article, is Viktor Gyokeres the ready-made goal machine?
Gyokeres scored an astonishing 54 goals in 52 appearances for Sporting this season, making him the deadliest forward in Europe.
In the league, Gyokeres scored 39 goals in just 33 games – registering seven assists alongside that return too.
However, there are question marks over how much those goals mean when they come against the quality of opposition that Sporting are facing in the Portuguese top flight.
Against the likes of Porto, Braga and Benfica (the top sides in the Primeira Liga alongside Sporting), Gyokeres managed only two goals in six games.
While of the 39 goals he did score in the league, almost A THIRD of them were penalties (12).
However, it’s hard to look past such an impressive record, regardless of the opposition.
Those firmly in the Gyokeres camp will also point to the stunning Champions League hattrick he scored against Manchester City as an example of his ability against top sides, however two of those were penalties too.
Although he isn’t as tall as Sesko, Gyokeres still stands at 6ft 2in and is as much of a physical presence as Sesko in the box.
Players often seem to fall off him as he uses his wide frame to bulldoze into goalscoring positions.
Gyokeres was on fire against Manchester City in the Champions LeagueHe scored a hattrick against the Premier League side
That said, he is far less imposing in the air than Sesko, something that could be putting Arsenal off making him their number one target.
One positive for the Gunners is that Gyokeres is no stranger to the English game, having played for Brighton, Swansea and Coventry in the earlier stages of his career.
While Gyokeres could also solve the frustration many Arsenal fans have about their players failing to shoot often enough.
The former Sweden international attempted 4.5 shots per game last season, almost two more than the 2.6 averaged by current first-choice striker Kai Havertz.
Gyokeres is also impressive with the ball at his feet, creating the second most chances of any other Primera Liga last season and ranking third for attempted dribbles.
But if all the stats add up and Gyokeres is available, why isn’t there a queue out of the door to sign him?
Well, it appears the concern over the quality of Portuguese football is a genuine one, and one with a history of not paying off.
Arsenal will want assurances that their Portuguese purchase is a Bruno Fernandes and not a Darwin Nunez.

The Beckhams are currently embroiled in a family feud involving Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, with the couple’s relationship thought to be at the core of the rift.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Cruz, 20, wrote “The truth will unfold” alongside some cryptic lyrics.
He shared some lyrics from The Beatles’ hit The End.
“Love you, love you, love you, love you // Love.
“And in the end, the love you take // Is equal to the love you make,” the lyrics read.
The song was from the band’s 1969 album Abbey Road, before the band broke up.
This comes as the Beckhams continue to be embroiled in a huge family feud.
The famous family are yet to speak publicly about their family row, but there have been several digs thrown around on social media.
He snubbed his dad’s birthday entirely but failing to attend any of the family celebrations.

THREE men were rushed to hospital after violent clashes linked to rival feuding gangs overnight.
One of the three taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick was being prepped for surgery, sources said.
Weapons, believed to be slash hooks, were used in incidents that occurred at Hyde Avenue, on the south side of Limerick City, late on Saturday night.
A car was also “smashed up” and the area remained cordoned off this morning.
The feud has escalated in recent months with increased shootings, pipe bomb attacks and fire bombings of homes.
A large group of people were involved in the clashes, as local sources described the scenes as “chaotic” and expressed concern that people could be “killed” if it continues.
A Garda spokesman said: “Gardai were alerted to violent disorder and criminal damage incidents on Hyde Avenue, Ballinacurra Weston, Limerick on the night of June 21 at approximately 11.50pm.
“A vehicle was damaged during the incident and three males were taken to University Hospital Limerick with injuries which are believed to be non-life-threatening.”
Gardai recently told Limerick District Court that “permanent armed patrols” have been established in parts of the city.
And cops are also being stationed outside some schools due to the feuding between rival families.
Gardai told the court that the feuding factions “pose a serious and active threat” to innocent members of the public as the violence can erupt at any time.
Garda sources said many involved in the feud are abusing cocaine.
ACTIVE THREATS
Officers have visited a number of people recently to inform them their lives are in danger due to active threats.
It is also believed Gardai have intercepted the transport of guns and drugs through the city.
Sources said the feud is reaching boiling point, although a number of individuals suspected of involvement have been taken off the streets and remanded in custody.
The feud currently escalating on the city’s southside relates to a row between a criminal family and an organised crime group.
Some of the individuals linked to the current feud were closely associated with criminal figures involved in a gang row that left 20 men dead between the late 1990s and mid-2000s in Limerick.

PRIMARK fans are rushing to pick up a new handbag that many are comparing to a high-end buy.
The budget-friendly accessory is said to bear a remarkable resemblance to a designer item.

Primark, famous for affordable fashion and homeware, recently launched the popular bag.
“Sleek and sophisticated, this mini bucket bag is here to revive your accessories edit,” the product description read.
“The faux leather fabric is practical yet elegant, while the belt detail to either side adds extra style points.“
This buy features a grab handle and a cross-body strap, for versatile wear.
It also has gold-toned hardware, adding a polished touch to the stylish look.
“Use it to accessorise all your fave fits and get set to bag plenty of compliments,” Primark said.
And if you’re not already sold, this bag has been compared to high end version, which is currently priced at £1,650 online.
The Mini Bucket Louise in smooth calfskin from Celine has a similar look, including a leather-inspired finish, the bucket shape, and the miniature size.
Both bags also feature similar gold-tone hardware and two similar handles.
However, the designer bag is of course real leather while Primark’s is synthetic.
It also features the Celine brand’s iconic logo in gold on the front, while Primark’s version remains logoless.
The Celine description gave more details on the bag, including the lambskin lining, gold finishing, and Triomphe magnetic closure.
Primark shoppers could save around £1,640 by opting for the bargain version of this bag.
Customers can grab the Primark bag in stores now. You can check availability at your nearest store here.
Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget
By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor
AS someone who’s no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it’s about time that celebrities started catching on too.
For as long as I’ve been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those “I have nothing to wear” moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.
And I’m definitely not alone – on any Friday or Saturday night, you’ll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.
But no matter what, Primark always delivers.
Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.
While Rita’s not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she’s proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.
Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.
With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I’m sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.
And this sleek bag isn’t the only fashion dupe currently available from Primark.
Shoppers have been racing to pick up a Chanel-esque two-piece from the bargain retailer.
The chain also launched dupes of a popular dress for £77 less than the high-end version.

AUTHOR JK Rowling has praised BBC newsreader Martine Croxall after she refused to refer to “pregnant people” live on air.
The Harry Potter writer, 59, joked that she had a “new favourite BBC presenter” after Martine overruled her autocue which referred to “pregnant people” being at risk during the recent hot weather.

BBC NewsIn the clip from a recent BBC News segment, the veteran broadcaster can be seen smirking at the camera after referring to ‘pregnant people’[/caption]
BBC NewsMartine then quickly corrects herself, raising an eyebrow and saying ‘women’ instead[/caption]
JK Rowling has been a prominent women’s rights campaigner and has often been vocal on what she calls “sex-based rights” for several years.
In the clip from a recent BBC News show, Martine introduces comments from new research about the number of heat-related deaths expected during the ongoing hot weather period.
However, as she reads along the autocue, she raises an eyebrow and smirks at the camera after having to say “pregnant people” could be at risk in the heat.
She then quickly overrides this, saying “women” instead, before moving on with the rest of the script.
Martine read: “Malcolm Mistry, who was involved in the research, said the aged, pregnant people – women! – and those with pre-existing health conditions need to take precautions.”
Reposting the clip on X, JK Rowling praised the BBC presenter, saying she was her “new favourite”.
It is understood that the term “pregnant people” had been written by the researchers and was being quoted, rather than the BBC having written the phrase.
Other commenters also jumped in to praise “brilliant” Martine, with one saying: “I hope you don’t get hauled before the BBC News break.”
In response, Martine joked: “Braced x”.
Martine has been a veteran broadcaster for the BBC, having first joined the company more than 30 years ago in 1991.
She then began working for the BBC News team in 2001.
This comes just weeks after the same presenter challenged a transgender activist who questioned whether the definition of a woman could be determined by biological sex.
While interviewing ex-Labour MSP candidate Heather Herbert, following the Supreme Court’s ruling that the term women referred to one’s biological sex, Martine found herself in a heated debate.
JK Rowling in bitter spat with Boy George as singer calls her ‘rich bored bully’ over trans rights
JK Rowling has blasted Boy George for calling her a “rich bored bully” – pointing out he once served time for whipping a male escort with a chain.
The Harry Potter author posted a furious response on X after the Culture Club singer waded into a spat with another user who claimed Ms Rowling was “the person maybe most responsible for the push to take away trans rights”.
When Ms Rowling asked the X user “which rights have been taken away from trans people?”, Boy George responded: “The right to be left alone by a rich bored bully!”
Ms Rowling posted a lengthy rebuttal in which she accused the Karma Chameleon singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd, of sneering at “unenlightened plebs” who reject the notion that trans women are women.
She added: “I’ve never been given 15 months for handcuffing a man to a wall and beating him with a chain.”
Boy George was jailed in 2009 for handcuffing an escort to his bed and inflicting “wholly gratuitous violence” at a property in Shoreditch, east London, in April 2007.
The court was told that the cocaine-fuelled attack on Audun Carlsen, a Norwegian man, had been “premeditated and callous” and had left the victim “traumatised”.
Boy George had been found guilty at an earlier trial of false imprisonment and beating Carlsen with a chain with the help of another man, whom he had never identified.
Ms Rowling rejected Boy George’s claim that she was entitled.
During a conversation on clarifying “what the word woman means”, Heather declared she felt like she was “under attack” from Martine’s questioning.
The veteran BBC newsreader countered by questioning how it could be an “attack” when all she was asking for was clarification.
She then told Heather that the ruling made it clear “sex is binary and immutable” after the trans activist denied that local authorities – who have not protected single sex spaces based on biological sex – may have to reverse policies as a result of the ruling.
PAMartine had previously been in a tense debate on the definition of a woman while presenting for BBC News in April – following the Supreme Court’s ruling that the terms ‘women’ and ‘sex’ in the 2010 Equality Act refer to biological sex[/caption]

RYAN Tubridy has revealed the romantic way he popped the question to his fiance Dr Clare Kambamettu.
The Dublin native got down on one knee and popped the question during a beautiful getaway in the west of Ireland earlier this month.

The pair have since kept the inner details of their love under wraps and while Ryan hadn’t planned on revealing the news just yet, he was forced to come clean after a jewellers let it slip that he had visited their store.
The radio host, who shared the news with his listeners on Tuesday, has now revealed how he carefully planned the romantic proposal to his long-term partner.
Writing in his Mail on Sunday column, he said: “I don’t want to give all the details but I do want to share a few moments because some people were enormously helpful along the way.”
Ryan explained that he had always planned to buy the ring in Clifden, an area which him and Clare both love and where the local jewellers has been a long-standing family run business.
He explained: “I’ve also been preaching about shopping local for years so I wasn’t going to Tiffany’s… I called Jonty Daly in O’Dalaigh’s and asked for some guidance and I can tell you, the man’s a diamond!”
The podcaster then went on to say: “The care, attention and thought he put into every detail was above and beyond, right down to him driving out to Renvyle House Hotel to deliver the ‘package’ to Anne Marie Kelly, the incomparable general manager there. It was all so much fun and it felt distinctly Irish.”
Ryan has often spoken about his love for the West Coast of Ireland, and this proposal showed just how much the area means to the pair.
He said: “By the Atlantic shore, I asked the important question and thankfully, the answer was in the affirmative – and so began the most gorgeous weekend.”
The 52-year-old revealed that the “staff and joyful hotel patrons” helped make each part “feel special”.
He added: “We called into Jonty the next day to thank him and his staff; there was a little confusion about online stories but that was entirely at my end. Jonty did not let the cat out of the bag, it was an innocent miscommunication and we’re all firm friends.
“In fact, he joined us at The Abbeyglen Castle Hotel that evening where my cousin Brian Hughes and his amazing wife, Michelle, raised a few glasses with another cousin, Rachael Coyle and her brilliant husband, Shane.
“Another lovely night was had that ended with songs at the piano! After that, it was Scrabble, cycling and sleeping before boarding a plane in Shannon and heading to the skies a different man with a whole new vista ahead. I felt and feel lucky, happy and ready for another welcome twist in the tale.”
Earlier this week, the dad-of-two told his Virgin Radio UK listeners: “I have a little bit of news that I was kind of keeping a little bit to myself – to ourselves.
“Even though I’m a public person doing the job I do, I also have quite a lot of privacy that I like to keep to myself.
HAPPY COUPLE
“However, the cat has been removed from the bag for a number of reasons and I’m very, very, very happy to confirm that I did indeed get engaged to my partner Clare on Thursday evening in the West of Ireland.”
Speaking about his longterm love, Tubs previously told The Irish Sun: “She has brought an awful lot of joy into my life and happiness and support.
“I don’t want to talk too much about her, because my private life has always stayed private.
“But I think anyone who has met or knows Clare will know exactly why we are seeing each other. I feel very lucky.”
Asked at the time if the clinical psychologist, who he first interviewed on his RTE Radio One show in March 2023, had been a major support during the last six months. Tubs replied: “Remarkably so.”

Maria Sakkari and Yulia Putintseva faced off in the first round of the Bad Homburg Open in Germany on Sunday.
Former world No3 Sakkari, 29, came through a tight encounter, winning 7-5 7-6.
But there was none of the usual respect and warmth at the handshake at the net following match point.
They did clasp hands but there was clearly some underlying tension.
And when Putintseva, 30, did not give eye contact as she extended her hand out, Sakkari took exception.
The Greek ace made a comment as her defeated opponent walked towards the umpire.
And that led to a spectacular bust-up, with Kazakhstani Putintseva sarcastically curtsying for the winner.
Both player shook hands with the chair umpire whilst their war of words continued.

Sakkari walked over to Putintseva’s chair and made her feelings clear about the petulant behaviour and Putintseva snapped back.
The courtside microphones appeared to pick up the world No86 telling Putintseva to “act like a human being”.
Putintseva then reportedly told Sakkari to “go f*** herself” as the umpire tries to calm things down, chipping in: “Ladies, please.”
But her rival’s comment lit the fuse for Sakkari who confronted Putintseva again and told her: “Nobody likes you.”
World No27 Putintseva then picked up her racquet bag and towels before bowing in front of Sakkari as the feud escalated.
Quizzed about the drama in her on-court interview, Sakkari joked: “I don’t think she’s going to invite me for dinner for the rest of our lives.
“But I don’t care to be honest.
“I have very good friends.”
