Amazon is selling an ‘incredible fan’ that’s super quiet & powerful for its small size & can be mounted to the wall

WITH temperatures soaring, finding the perfect fan to keep you cool without disrupting your peace can feel like a never-ending quest.

Enter the Honeywell TurboForce air circulator fan – your new best friend for beating the heat.

Amazon is selling ‘an incredible’ buy that is super powerful[/caption]

This compact yet powerful fan packs a punch, with air movement you can feel from up to seven metres away.

Its aerodynamic design maximises cooling without taking up too much space, making it ideal for small to medium-sized rooms.

Whether you need it perched on a table, mounted on the wall, or quietly working away on the floor, this versatile fan has you covered.

And it only costs £24.95.

The Honeywell fan features three speed settings and a 90-degree oscillating head to help you find your perfect breeze.

Plus, with its discreet low noise operation, you won’t have to worry about it interrupting your sleep, conversations, or focus.

It’s perfect for any room, whether it’s your bedroom, lounge, or even your office.

If you’re looking for a reliable way to stay cool this summer, this fan’s blend of portability, power, and quiet performance makes it a must-have.

Shoppers have already rushed to the review section on the Amazon site, as it’s been given a 4.5 star rating out of five.

Giving a detailed review, one shopper wrote: “Firstly, this is a lot bigger than I expected.

“Secondly WOW. I use fans a lot, and over the years have got through several, but none have had as strong a ‘wind’ as this and has a brilliant airflow.

“Even I may get chilli with this one, maybe.

“It is quieter than several I have had but not the quietest, but I personally like the white noise of a fan so that doesn’t bother me.

“I do have it on the table right beside my bed but obviously if further away the sound would be even quieter. It is so powerful it’s utterly brilliant for me.”

They went on to explain the “only problem” which is the off switch on the fan.

There is absolutely no way it will hurt the dog even if he puts his face on it, and the grill will not fall off if the fan is knocked over

Review

The shopper continued: “If you have to turn it off you have to reach over it and turn the dial through 1,2 and 3 to get to the off and it is quite fiddly.

“I personally prefer a designated ‘off’ button. But, for me, that is a small incontinence in

exchange for such a powerful fan.”

The shopper praised the quality of the fan as well.

They said: “It seems well enough made, it works, I have the black and it looks good and although plastic doesn’t feel cheap and is sturdy and substantial enough to do its job and be cleaned.

“Another thing I particularly like is that as a dog owner the blades are well enough back from the grill and the grill itself if very substantial and built into the unit.

“There is absolutely no way it will hurt the dog even if he puts his face on it, and the grill will not fall off if the fan is knocked over.”

A second added: “FAN-tastic! (I had too haha)

“I have mounted this fan above my bed as its wall mountable and wow, it’s amazing! Quiet enough and has three speed settings.

“Airflow is good and very sturdy.

“10/10 for value for money and was with me the next morning. Perfect for this beautiful weather.

“Highly recommended.”

A third said: “Get one. You won’t be sending it back. It’s fantastic. No need for a big fan on a stand.

“This is compact, powerful and more than does the job. My dog has sat in front of it constantly. Great price. Extremely pleased.”

How to keep cool in hot weather

Most of us welcome hot weather, but when it's too hot, there are health risks. Here are three ways to keep cool according to the NHS...

Keep out of the heat if you can.

If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especially between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and light clothes, and avoid exercise or activity that makes you hotter.

Cool yourself down.

Have cold food and drinks, avoid alcohol, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cool shower or put cool water on your skin or clothes.

Keep your living space cool.

Close windows during the day and open them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees. Check the temperature of rooms, especially where people at higher risk live and sleep.

Roberto Lopes reveals key to Shamrock Rovers winning their Dublin derby against Bohemians

ROBERTO ‘Pico’ Lopes has played for both sides — so he knows just how big the Dublin Derby is.

The Cape Verde defender, 33, spent six years with Bohemians before making the short trip across town.

The late drama in the last derby didn’t go in the favour of Lopes and Shamrock Rovers

And now the Shamrock Rovers skipper is desperate to get one over on his old club, especially after suffering home-and-away defeats to them this season.

But Lopes also insists it is just one more game as the Hoops seek to increase their 11-point lead at the top of the Premier Division.

The rivals clash at Dalymount Park tonight and Lopes reckons he knows what is needed to get his men over the line.

He said: “It always has been since I started football — Bohs v Rovers, it’s probably the biggest game on the calendar.

“We can’t get caught up too much in the occasion, though.

“It’s an important game for us in terms of trying to build on this momentum and keep going and get the three points.

“But yeah, I suppose it’s the biggest game in Irish football for me.

“You have to take the madness out of it at times. It’s going to be there. It’s going to be 100 miles an hour at times.

“But you need to be able to take a breath and put your foot on the ball and show your quality.”

Rovers’ quality came to the fore again on Friday with Lopes scoring a crucial second against Cork City, powering home a Dylan Watts delivery in a 4-1 win.

The centre-half was hauled off at the break, with boss Stephen Bradley citing “a heavy load recently” for his captain.

That win meant the Hoops’ unbeaten run stretched to 11 games. Now they face the last team to beat them — when Rhys Brennan bagged a late, late winner in a crazy 3-2 game on the Easter weekend.

Lopes feels the group has grown since then and will be praying for a better outcome tonight.

He added: “I think we have gotten stronger as the league has gone on. The performances and results have shown that. But we can’t take our foot off the gas.

“If you start getting carried away yourself, that’s where you get pegged back. So, look, we’ve been good. We need to be better.

“Hopefully we’re on the right side of the result this time. Look, you can’t control what happens.

“We were disappointed to lose the game back here at Easter. That’s behind us. We moved on. And yeah, we’re just focused on trying to win the game.”

TURNING THE TIDE

Bohs beat Rovers 1-0 in the season opener at the Aviva before their dramatic victory in April.

But Lopes has been around long enough to know how valuable his experience, and that of his team-mates, will be in a cauldron-like atmosphere.

He said: “I probably sound like a broken record but I think form goes out the window in these games. I always say it. We know it’s going to be a tough game, especially going over there.

“We know how hostile it can be. So yeah, we just have to be prepared mentally going into that and play the game in front of us.

“But I think, yeah, my experience tells me that you have to be ready for the fight, ready for the battle, start games fast.

“There’s going to be times where you have to take the madness out of it and show our quality as well. Be brave on the ball. That’ll be key.”

Ella told The Sun that she is planning for surgery to get smaller boobs[/caption]

Ella, who has become the most successful star from the E4 reality series, confirmed her surgery plans to The Sun at the British LGBT Awards where she turned heads in a very busty gown on the red carpet.

The trailblazing TV star handed out an award at the annual ceremony as well as accepting the Stronger Together prize in celebration of the trans community.

Speaking to The Sun, Ella revealed how she would be removing her current breast implants in order to get a smaller chest.

Ella told us: “So I’m taking them out.

“I’ve had some complications with one of them and I think I’m realising now that I’m in my 30s, maybe, I don’t need the lip filler and I don’t need the big boobs.

“In my dress tonight, they look ginormous.

“I think when I see them like this, it does make me think, I’m just not feeling it anymore.”

Opening up about the heartbreaking reason why she decided to go for larger boobs upon her transition, Ella confessed: “When I first got them done, it was because part of me did it because I felt like I had to be more feminine and by having big boobs, I would look like a Barbie doll.

“And also I did it to please guys.

“Now I’m like, actually I don’t really care. Like, I love myself inside and out.

“So yeah, they’re probably going to be going and not coming back. It’s all about the small t**s.

“Everyone’s skinny now. Everyone’s on Ozempic, but no one’s got any boobs!”

Ahead of Ella’s new surgery plans, the TV star is making a name for herself in the beauty world after bagging a big-money deal to be face of Superdrug with her own range of products.

Ella’s face is now plastered across local Superdrug stores with her products available to buy in store.

Speaking about the collaboration, Ella said: I’m very lucky to be given such big deals – it doesn’t usually happen.

“When you go on Love Island, you’re more likely to get a bigger career and platform but when you’re on Married at First Sight, that is unlikely to happen.

“I’m like the only one from the cast I think that has kind of carried on in the media world.

“Two years down the line, I’ve still got a career. I’m still doing well.

“I’m so proud of myself. And actually I feel like without being big-headed, I deserve it because trans people do not get the same platforms or opportunities that a lot of other people do.”

Major A-road used by thousands of drivers a year to close for 21 days from TODAY – will your commute be spared?

A MAJOR A-road is set to close for for three weeks from today.

Roadworks on the A6 are due to begin today, June 23, with the route remaining closed to traffic for 21 days while essential work is carried out.

Motorists are urged to plan accordingly[/caption]

Motorists have been urged to check their routes and plan accordingly.

The roadworks will be carried out across two phases with different sections of the road closed for each.

Phase one, on the stretch of the A6 from Green House to Ullsmoor, will start today, June 23.

Phase two on the stretch between Bampton junction and the north end of the 40mph signs will follow on after completion of phase one.

Road closures will last for the duration of both phases but only the section of road being worked on will be closed.

Rolling closures will hit several sections of the road as works get underway with some parts of the busy A-road remaining open.

The extensive works will see the existing road surface removed completely.

This will then be replaced with new surface course and binder courses.

Repairs are also set to be carried out on the highway drainage system.

Locals have been issued with letters detailing the road closure plan and warning them of delays.

Motorists planning to use the route over the next three weeks have been urged to plan ahead.

Contactors have said that access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained throughout the duration of the roadworks.

Bus companies and recycling collection services have been informed so that they can make other arrangements.

Diversions will be put in place during the closures with motorists directed along the M6.

Separate diversions have been put in place for non-motorway vehicles.

The works are reportedly part of Westmorland and Furness Council’s £37.7 million highways and transport investment programme.

The programme is aimed at improving infrastructure and tackling potholes in the local area.

Schools have been notified of the closure with school bus operators warned to plan ahead.

Measures are being taken to ensure locals will have access to their homes while the works are underway.

Residents have been instructed to contact the contractors about local access.

Inside Rory McIlroy’s Travelers Championship prize money as he bags HUGE six-figure sum after surging to sixth place

RORY McIlroy went home from the Travelers Championship €604,000 richer after surging up to sixth place on Sunday.

The five-time major winner had looked adrift of contending at the outset of the final day’s play in Connecticut, USA.

Shane Lowry finished well down the leaderboard[/caption]

However, he wound up finishing just three shots behind winner Keegan Bradley who took advantage of a Sunday slip from Tommy Fleetwood.

McIlroy was NINE shots off the top of the leaderboard as he teed off on the opening hole.

But in an encouraging display, he posted a five-under par round of 65 to leave himself in a tie for sixth with world number one Scottie Scheffler.

Shane Lowry meanwhile, placed in a tie for 45th on a total score of one-under par across the four days. For his efforts he’ll earn around €55,000.

Fleetwood had gone into the day with a three-shot lead to himself but a bogey-ridden start and end to his round allowed home favourite Bradley to swoop in and take the title.

The Englishman ended up missing out by a shot after bogeying the 18th to hand victory to the US Ryder Cup captain.

Fleetwood had a six-foot putt to win but his shot appeared to hit a ball mark and drifted inches wide.

He then agonisingly watched on as Bradley sank his putt from a similar distance to birdie, achieving a two-shot swing on the final hole to win the championship.

One fan reacted saying: “That’s just unbelievably bad luck.”

Another added: “1.9M ball mark. Ouch.” And a third wrote: “Really sad to see for the guy.”

The result means Fleetwood’s wait for a PGA Tour win continues. He also missed out on the €2.7million winning prize pot.

Fleetwood shared his disappointment after the final round, saying: “I’m gutted right now.

“I’ve not been in that situation for a long time. It’s probably the worst way to finish.

“Leading by two with three to play. Leading by one going into the last and you don’t even make it to a play-off. It’s the worst way it could go.”
