Road Rage in Chon Buri: Withit’s Dramatic Encounter Highlights Dangerous Driving Disputes

In the bustling heart of Chon Buri, Thailand, a road dispute escalated to alarming heights, climaxing in a dramatic confrontation that had onlookers and online spectators buzzing. Meet Withit, a 31-year-old resident who found himself and his family enveloped in an unforeseen tempest of aggression on what seemed to be an ordinary trip to his son’s school. The timing, however, suggests it was bound to be anything but ordinary—the morning of June 17 at exactly 7:58 a.m. Withit was in the midst of driving his wife and their five-year-old son along Route 344. As they approached the red lights at the Nong Chark Intersection, Withit hit the brakes. Yet, when the light flashed green, he hesitated. This brief pause ignited another motorist’s frustration—a man driving a sleek black sedan. In what seemed like seconds, the disgruntled driver floored the pedal, overtaking Withit’s car with an air of righteous urgency and…

Alan Reynolds laughs off Shamrock Rovers ‘hex’ talk as he claims another LOI team ‘have it over’ his Bohs side

ALAN Reynolds was thrilled with Bohemians best 45 minutes in years – but he laughed off the idea Bohs are now Shamrock Rovers’ kryptonite.

The Gypsies beat the Hoops 2-0 at Dalymount Park last night as they won their third meeting against their Dublin rivals of the season.

It also ensured they moved up to second place nine points behind in-form Rovers, but Rennie’s men have two games in hand and play Rovers again in September.

The Hoops have lost just four games all year, but Reynolds laughed off the idea that his masterminding of three of them for Bohemians means he has a hex over them.

He shrugged: “I don’t know what it is but Waterford have it over me.”

But he acknowledged that his side’s performance – particularly in the first half – was outstanding.

He said: “I was just talking to (coach) Derek Pender. He said he hasn’t seen such a good 45 and he’s here such a long time.

“I thought it was the best I’ve seen us without the ball but I’m not surprised. With the ball, there were transitions when they lost the ball from us winning it back, press and try to score.

“It’s about consistency because it’s hard to play like that in every game to be fair. Not many teams play like Shamrock Rovers either so you must have a gameplan for them.

“All credit to us tonight. I know Rovers are outstanding but tonight we looked a proper team.”

Hoops’ boss Stephen Bradley agreed that Bohemians were good, but felt his side did not meet their own standards.

Bradley said: “First half we were miles off the game, a million miles off what’s required in any game but especially in this type of game.

“So as a result they were two up and could have been three or four to be honest, we were that far off the level but that’s football, that’s Dublin derbies

“You’ve got to credit Bohs, they were good but we were a million miles off it. You don’t win games of football in this league if you’re that far off the levels.”

But while the Bohemians victory puts them close to the top, Reynolds said it is too early to talk about his side – who started the year with five defeats in their opening seven – as challengers.

He added: “To be honest, I haven’t thought about it. I know you want to hear ‘we’re challenges,’ but what are we nine points behind them?

“Give me another couple of months, and I’ll tell you. We go on Friday and we lose to Waterford, so we can’t afford to drop too many points.”

BACK TO WINNING WAYS

But the turnaround since then – Bohs have won ten of 14 games since then – has seen a mood change at Dalymount Park from fans calling for Reynolds’ head to cheering him on.

Reynolds always had the support of the players with Ross Tierney celebrating a goal against Sligo Rovers that kick-started their run by running to his manager.

But the fan’ backing is more recent and Tierney was the one pushing his manager forward to get the acclaim from the Jodi Stand last night.

Reynolds said: “I think that’s a running joke, you see, because of what was going on here before.

“But hey, look, we enjoyed the moment. And if you can’t enjoy news like this, what’s the point?

“So I know our relationship (with the fans) has been fractured at times, but look, we’re in a good place now.

“I think the dressing room is really good, and I don’t have any doubts that the dressing room’s been behind me, even last year, when the results weren’t going well.

“We’re a good, solid group and staff are really tight, so I don’t doubt that. We’re tight with all players. We care about them, but they see what we’re trying to do.

“I’m sure if Ross Tierney thought I wasn’t good at my job or I wasn’t giving them proper information, he wouldn’t be long telling me that either.”

Who is Giorgio Russo?

Giorgio Russo — who goes by Gio — is an account manager from Maidstone, who joined Love Island 2025 as a bombshell.

His career has taken a back seat of late as he spent several months traveling around Southeast Asia, before settling in Sydney, Australia — where he now lives.

At 30 years old, Gio is among the older islanders on the show this series, bringing a more mature presence to the famous villa.

He boasts an impressive 30,000 followers on Instagram, as of June 2024, which is more than many new contestants who arrive on the island

Gio said he is looking for a girl with strong family values who enjoys having a good time.

He explained: “I like girls with a good personality, family-oriented and fun to be around. Someone that doesn’t take life too seriously.”

Famous footballing sister

Gio is the older brother of footballer Alessia Russo, who plays as a forward for Arsenal and England.

She is the current holder of the FWA Women’s Footballer of the Year award.

Chatting with ITV before entering the villa, Gio revealed what his Champions League-winning sister thinks about him signing up for Love Island.

He shared: “She’s really excited, she watches every year and reckons I can do well, so she’s excited to see how I get on.”

Gio made it clear that being interested in sports — especially football — is a plus, given his family’s strong sporting ties.

He said: “My sister plays pro football, so being interested in sport — they don’t have to know football or understand it, but if they can show some sort of interest — because it is such a prominent thing in our family.

“It would be hard if they hated it.

“Other green flags are having a nice family — I’m sick of being the seventh wheel in my own family!”

Following his sister’s Champion’s League success with Arsenal, Gio posted: “Turns out being related to a Champions League winner doesn’t make me any better at football… but it does make me insanely proud.

“Congratulations @alessia, you make me prouder and prouder to be your big brother everyday.”

Just like his Lioness sibling, Gio is very much into fitness and training.

Yet, his villa entrance may well mean he will miss Alessia’s stint in the Women’s Euro 2025 this summer, which kicks off on July 2.

He has scored 105 goals for Wrexham in 165 games, cementing his place in the club’s history.

Mullin has proved immensely popular amongst the fanbase and Hollywood owner Ryan Reynolds, who paid tribute to the talisman following his exit.

Reynolds wrote on X: “I can’t imagine seeing Mulls on loan and in another kit.

“We wouldn’t be where we are without his heart, skill and work ethic. We love you, @PMullin7. SPM ⚔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

The pair had a close relationship at the Racecourse with Mullin even dressing as Reynolds’ iconic Deadpool character, with a Welsh twist.

Last season Mullin even put on a Deadpool mask after scoring against Salford City.

And after one spectacular goal by Mullin against Blackpool, Reynolds wrote: “This one. So pretty…”

He also named the 30-year-old in his Wrexham Mount Rushmore.

Mullin bid farewell to Wrexham after his loan was finalised, sharing a photo of a shirt commemorating his 100th goal for the club.

He added the caption: “All the very best to everyone at Wrexham this season keep the train rolling.”

Mullin found himself out of favour under manager Phil Parkinson last season, with January signings Jay Rodriguez and Sam Smith knocking the striker down the pecking order.

Wrexham have brought in another striker this summer, Plymouth Argyle’s Ryan Hardie, who will add much-needed Championship experience to the squad.
