A SCORNED ex branded her love rival a “homewrecking w***e with saggy bits” in a vile smear campaign that left her victim living in fear.
Stephanie Hughes, 39, was bombarded with hateful messages on Facebook by Christina Corish after she began a relationship with the mum’s ex-husband Richard.
CavendishChristina Corish waged a hate campaign against her love rival[/caption]
CavendishStephanie Hughes had begun dating Corish’s ex when she was targeted[/caption]
CavendishCorish accused Stephanie of stealing her husband Richard, pictured[/caption]
Despite splitting with her spouse three years earlier, Corish, 37, contacted Stephanie’s friends to tell them: “She is sleeping with my husband”.
She also reached out to parents at the school where Stephanie’s children were pupils to brand the mum-of-four a “homewrecking w***e with saggy bits”.
Stephanie, who runs a travel agency, initially ignored the sick abuse but was forced to step in when Corish targeted her business and accused her of being a “conwoman”.
Corish pleaded guilty to harassment between August 2023 and February 2025 at Sefton Magistrates’ Court but avoided jail.
She was instead handed a 12 month community order and was banned from contacting Stephanie for five years.
In a victim impact statement, Stephanie told the court: “The harassment and stalking I experienced had a devastating effect on every part of my life mentally, emotionally, physically and financially.
“This has been one of the most terrifying and damaging experiences and it has seeped into every part of my life. I felt exposed, scared and broken. he did not just target me. She contacted clients and colleagues and tried to ruin my reputation and humiliate me.
“I was so embarrassed and ashamed I stopped posting online. I built my travel business on social media but I could not log on as the fear and shame were overwhelming. She even sent messages to mothers at the school calling me a w***e, accusing me of having an affair. I felt sick.
“I did not want to leave the house let alone go to the school gates.
“I could not sleep. Every time a notification came up or the doorbell rang I would freeze. I was terrified of what she would do next. I developed PTSD.”
The court was told Corish and Richard married in 2015 and had two children together before they split five years later.
In 2023, Richard moved on with Stephanie while they were joint directors at her company.
Corish initially contacted the victim on social media asking if she knew Richard before phoning her three times.
Stephanie responded asking why Corish wanted to know but was hit with a barrage of abuse.
She said: “When I met Richard he told me they had been separated for three years.
“At no point did I think he was in a relationship with anyone. But she called me a home wrecker and threatened to out me.
The court heard Corish contacted two of Stephanie’s friends on New Year’s Day 2024 claiming the mum had slept with her “husband”.
Corish ramped up the abuse campaign when she posted on Stephanie’s business page falsely claiming she was conning customers out of money.
Stephanie said: “The continued behaviour has caused me a lot of distress and I eventually reported the matter to the police.
“The latest incident meant she was not going to stop. I cannot take much more. It has caused a massive massive amount of stress and anxiety affecting my physical and mental health.
”The messages to me and friends were bad enough, she is now trying to affect my business. She also found out where I lived through Companies House which really increased my anxiety. I cannot relax at home.”
Corish had a previous conviction for criminal damage from last year after smashing windows at the home of her ex-husband’s mother.
She wept in the dock as she told the court: “I am not going to contact her. I have no interest in making any contact anymore. That was the last time.”
As well as a community order, Corish was also ordered to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity.
Sentencing her District Judge Paul Healey said: ”You embarked upon a course of harassment against Stephanie Hughes when she was totally blameless.
“She had nothing to do with you but she was worried about who you were, why you were contacting her, the abuse, the threats to her.
“You caused real issues for her business and family. This has got to stop now.”

Why police were called to first Dunnes Stores opening
BETWEEN the weekly food shops and bargain fashion - Dunnes Stores is a staple retailer in Irish households.
But this wasn’t always the case, and when the initial branch of the shop opened its doors in 1944 it caused quite the stir
On March 31 of the year, Ben Dunne opened the first ever Dunnes Stores on St Patrick’s Street in Co Cork.
Locals quickly learned of the grand opening and flooded into the store in what the retailer’s archives recall as a “shopping frenzy.”
The bargain clothing on sale inside the new store at “pre-war prices” was one of the factors cited for the buzz.
During the chaos a window was forced in and Gardai were called to the scene.
Cops worked to deal with the eager crowds and keep shoppers calm and safe before they made it into the store for their first Dunnes experience.
Fast forward some 80 years, the business now employs over 18,000 people and although an opening of a Dunnes branch hasn’t caused quite as much stir since the very first one, it has cemented its place as one of the nation’s leading retailers.

SOPHIE Hinchcliffe seems to have it all – a net worth of over £5 million, a sprawling £2 million Essex farmhouse set on an idyllic 1.7 acres of land and a perfect family-of-five.
But in a year that has already been unimaginably painful, the cleanfluencer – who lost her beloved dad, Alan in April 2024 – has been facing another crippling battle where she admits she faced abuse and harassments hourly.
Mrs Hinch has had the year from hellInstagramInstagramBut there might be a glimmer of hope that helps ease her pain[/caption]
The mum-of-three admitted to the ‘deep unimaginable pain’ of suddenly losing her dad and has been public about how she is still struggling to cope in a selfless effort to help others. But amid the agony of her grief, she also quietly became one of the biggest targets for trolls and the dark underbelly of the web.
Cutting, vindictive comments like ‘This is fake grief’ and ‘you’re an awful mother and a disgusting human being’ became the norm as ragebaiters – who had marked her early on as a target to attack – exploited her pain.
435 threads of strangers discussing her life with husband Jamie and sons Ronnie, 6, Lennie, 3 and newborn Vinnie, and tearing it apart gained traction everyday. And the platform that did NOTHING to monitor it… the recently exposed Tattle Life.
Despite keeping her pain a secret for years, Mrs Hinch, who has 4.8 million Instagram followers, finally had her say on the hourly abuse and harassment and now, those close to her, have told Fabulous the end of the toxic forum has given Sophie, 35, a much needed glimmer of hope.
Writing on Instagram, the mum-of-three said: “The website that has damaged my mental health and harassed me and my family beyond words for over 6 years.
“They’ve stalked me, lied about me, mocked me and my beautiful children. Accused me of the unthinkable, brainwashed my supporters.
“Sickening behaviour that l’ve silently had to put up with every single day. My thread (as I’m sure you’ve seen) is one of the largest on there, with hourly abuse.”
Earlier this month Sebastian Bond, a vegan influencer was unveiled as the site’s creator following a defamation lawsuit filed by Neil and Donna Sands, a couple from Northern Ireland.
Thanks to The Sands, who were targeted by those on the site, Sebastian was found to be the anonymous founder and they have been awarded £150,000 each.
Now it seems their justice is a small win for Sophie too.
@mrshinchhome/InstagramMrs Hinch paid tribute to her dad who sadly passed away last year[/caption]
Grief Stricken
Sharing the news of the loss of her father last year, alongside touching photos, she wrote: “My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down.
“My loving Dad, Our boys beloved Grandad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going.
www.jasminejadephotography.co.ukSophie has been open about still struggling with the grief[/caption]
“Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad. My absolute king. Your Bubberloo.”
A year on, she admitted time had done little to heal her pain and took to Instagram saying: “I literally scream out loud in the garden everyday so I can catch my breath, I fall to my knees everyday, I feel sick countless times a day.”
But while most fled to support her cruel trolls on Tattle life dubbed her grief as ‘fake’ while others have said ‘What does she want, a bleeping gold medal in grief?’ and ‘Jesus she’s really milking this isn’t she.’
An insider told Fabulous: “It’s no secret life has been really difficult for Sophie since her beloved dad, Alan, passed away and while she’s been open with her fans about her grief, there’s so much more going on behind the scenes.
“She was becoming increasingly miserable about the posts she’d see on Tattle Life and was getting really anxious about it. Some of the rubbish written on there has been sick.
“There were mocking posts about Alan and stuff about Sophie ‘milking’ her grief – it’s no wonder it hit a nerve and has caused her so much upset. It’s genuinely unbelievable what people were coming out with, one person called her “self indulgent” for grieving, which was a real kick in the teeth for her.”
When did Mrs Hinch's dad pass away?
Her father actually died on April 25, 2024, but his grieving daughter waited until she was ready to share the sad news with her fans.
In April 2023, Sophie revealed how she was taking a break social media after her dad ended up in hospital.
She said at the time: “My dad is in hospital at the moment guys. My dad has never been blessed shall we say with fantastic health – from his chest, his lungs, his heart.
“He’s always struggled you know.”
She heartbreakingly added: “I just want him to be happy.”
Sophie and her children have also had health scares throughout the yearInstagramInstagram/@mrshinchhomeSophie and her youngest son have battled health scares this year[/caption]
Health Worries
That’s not the only sick abuse hurled at Sophie in the last year as bitter trolls also lined up to hurl abuse their way over their autism diagnosis.
“Both Ron and I have had confirmation for a while now,” she penned.
And if only everyone accepted and understood autism, the world really would be a much better place.
Sophie Hinchcliffe
“We decided as a family to take our time to process, to learn, to grow and to find our way together before we shared.
“So, that’s exactly what we did and are continuing to do each day.
“We have hard days but we also have lots of magical days.
“And if only everyone accepted and understood autism, the world really would be a much better place.
“Ronnie, thank you for being ours, for being so precious and simply incredible. Because of you everything finally made sense to me after 33 years.”
Autism is a neuro-divergence where your brain works in a different way to other people.
It’s something you’re born with, but signs might not be spotted until you’re an adult.
But despite the diagnosis, trolls were quick to claim the mum would use it as a cash grab.
One user on Tattle Life said: “God she’s going to make autism her whole personality now isn’t she.”
“Autism for likes. A new but not surprising low. Ron’s diagnosis is not hers to share publicly. Shame on her as a mother,” another said.
The insider said: “Right now, she’s focused on building herself up again after a really difficult year. She’s also dealing with both her and Ronnie’s autism diagnosis. She’s an incredible mum and is committed to making life as easy and wonderful as she can for Ron, but as any parent dealing with an autistic child will know, there are many challenges. let alone the ones she faces herself.
Earlier this year, after the birth of her youngest son, Vinnie, Sophie was rushed to hospital after suffering with ablood clotin her groin, pelvis, and leg, which required an emergencyoperation.
Her son Vinnie was also suffering weeks after being born and was in hospital for a week before being diagnosed with reflux and CMPA but also Laryngomalacia.
InstagramHer boys are thankfully now home[/caption]
What is autism?
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is an incurable, lifelong developmental condition that affects how people perceive the world and interact with others.
It affects around one in 100 people in the UK and is three to four times more common in boys than in girls.
Many people with ASD find it hard to understand other people’s feelings and emotions, and they may have difficulty holding conversations.
When they are young, their language development may take longer and they can struggle to use facial expressions, using gestures to communicate instead.
They may also find it hard to connect with other people and to hold eye contact with unfamiliar individuals.
Many children with ASD like to follow a routine, and changes to this can cause distress.
High functioning autism is an informal term some people use to describe those on the autism spectrum disorder.
Friend Fued
As well as facing a string of health issues within her family, Sophie has also had to deal with constant rumours that she and her best friend and BBC presenter Stacey Solomon have fallen out.
The pair, both from Essex, rose to fame on social media with their DIY and cleaning videos and formed a close friendship.
Instagram/@https://www.instagram.com/staceysolomon/?hl=enRumours fly about Mrs Hinch and Stacey Solomon’s friendship[/caption]
They regularly shared images and videos of them and their families together, and Sophie was even a bridesmaid at Stacey’s wedding to Joe Swash, 42, back in 2022.
However, rumours of tension quickly surfaced as it seemed Stacey had cut Sophie out of her wedding photos on Instagram.
I knew she would make sure that **** was dumped from her wedding photos.
Tattle Life User
On top of this, when Sophie announced her third pregnancy after her father passed away, a public message from Stacey was deleted.
Stacey penned: “I love you. And I’m so so happy for this beautiful blessing on all of you. Dad must be beaming.”
The message was swiftly deleted, but it is unsure if Sophie or Stacey did so.
Tattle Life users have been quick to speculate on the reason and even enjoy the speculated fall out.
“I knew she would make sure that **** was dumped from her wedding photos,” wrote one.
“She didn’t send it on private (which she 100 percent should have) is so she can get attention from the post Stacy doesn’t do anything or post anything that doesn’t benefit her,” another penned.
The insider added: “She’s also constantly having to fight off rumours that she’s fallen out with Stacey Solomon, a close friend, and this weighs on her too. So add to that all this Tattle nonsense and it was just another thing on her plate.”
InstagramThe pair were once inseparable[/caption]
Glimmer of Hope
Sophie has publicly responded to the founder of Tattle Life being found out and is thrilled someone will be held to account for the bullying and harassment she and many others in the public eye have faced.
The site which attracted 12 million visitors a month was launched seven years ago and supposedly aimed at exposing disingenuous influencers, but has earned the name of a ‘troll site; to abuse anyone they see fit.’
Since it was created in 2017, the founder was anonymous, but it was found out after fashion brand owner Donna Sands and her husband Neil took the owner to court in Northern Ireland, Sebastian’s identity was lifted last week.
Mrs Hinch was one of the first celebrities to congratulate them on the win on an Instagram post.
The Insider said: “Now she knows the site has been exposed, it feels like a real weight has been lifted. She never ever felt the need to filter herself when it came to speaking about Alan, but the posts on Tattle definitely devastated her, knowing people were out there openly mocking her pain.
“Sophie was careful not to be public about her pain though, she hates to give any credence to false reports and made up rumours but that in turn was causing her a lot of internal stress.
“So now, seeing the start of the takedown of the site, she’s both relieved and angry. She’s happy that it’s (hopefully) on the way out but she’s questioning why such awful stories and opinions were ever allowed to be published in the first place.
“Those closest to her wouldn’t be surprised if she took legal action herself following the successful ruling for Sands’ but she’ll no doubt bide her time and consider her options. Either way she is one of the most targeted celebrities on there, so she’d be well within her rights to take Sebastian and Tattle to court.
“She sees this latest development as a silver lining to an otherwise very dark year.”

Flaunting her vast collection of tattoos, former glamour model Katie posed up a storm on a sun lounger and told fans: “Late night sunbathing in Dubai was something else.”
Alongside another photo, which zoomed in on her surgically enhanced breasts, she said: “Got the beach all to myself.”
Katie’s deep tan should come as no surprise as she recently enjoyed a wild holiday in Ibiza.
Attempting to put fears to rest, Katie shared a clip zoomed in on a set of scales and said: “Everyone is so obsessed with my weight. This is what I weigh. That. That is what I weigh.”
It showed her weight as 7st 12lb but with the combined weight of her 2120cc breast implants removed – which are thought to weigh around 4.87lb each – her implant-free body is closer to 7st 2lb.
That puts her BMI at 17.2 which is below the healthy range and in the underweight category (18.5 and under).
Speaking on her Snapchat in May, Katie said: “Yes I’ve lost weight.
“Yes that what I’ve wanted to do, I’ve wanted to lose weight.

THE HSE has issued an urgent warning for Irish jetsetters as a “highly infectious disease” hits numerous holiday hotspots.
As thousands of Irish families prepare to travel abroad this summer, health bosses have warned about a surge in measles in some countries.
Top holiday spots among Irish tourists have seen a measles surgeGetty Images - GettyThe illness has hit a number of European countriesGetty Images - GettyThe HSE is urging Irish jetsetters to get vaccinated before travellingGetty Images - Getty
The HSE urging all travellers to make sure they are fully vaccinated against measles before heading abroad, particularly those travelling with children.
Measles is a highly contagious viral disease that spreads easily through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
It can linger in a room for up to two hours after the person has left, meaning it’s easy to catch in crowded places like airports, hotels and public transport.
Although it is often thought of as a childhood illness, measles can affect anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated.
Countries currently experiencing major outbreaks include France, Spain, Romania, the Netherlands and Belgium – all of which are top summer destinations for Irish tourists.
And The HSE says it could pose a real threat to public health back in Ireland if travellers bring it home with them.
They said: “MMR vaccine is available free of charge at your GP for individuals born on or after January 1st 1978 who are not age-appropriately vaccinated.
“In addition, infants aged 6 months to under 12 months are eligible to receive an MMR vaccine, free of charge at their GP, prior to travel abroad.
“It is recommended that individuals receive MMR vaccine at least 14 days prior to travel.
“HSE recommends that all people who are eligible for MMR vaccination should be vaccinated, regardless of whether planning on travel abroad or not.”
As outlined on the HSE website, here are the initial symptoms of the illness:
cold-like symptoms such as aches and pains, a runny nose, sneezing and a cough
sore, red eyes that may be sensitive to light
a temperature of 38 degrees Celsius or above (fever)
small grey-white spots in your mouth
loss of appetite
tiredness, irritability and a general lack of energy
Large numbers of cases have also been recorded in the United States and Canada, with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issuing its own travel alerts.
In Asia, outbreaks have been reported in Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and other parts of Southeast Asia.
Many of these outbreaks are happening in places with low vaccination rates, where the disease spreads rapidly among those unprotected.
HOW TO STAY PROTECTED
And The HSE has warned that Ireland is vulnerable due to a decline in childhood vaccine uptake in recent years.
People with weakened immune systems, the elderly or those with underlying health conditions are also more vulnerable to complications.
The symptoms of measles usually begin 10 to 14 days after exposure and start with a high fever, runny nose, cough and red watery eyes.
A distinctive red or brown rash follows, usually starting on the face and neck before spreading down the body.
The illness can make people feel extremely unwell particularly in the days just after the rash appears – and in some cases it can even be fatal.
To stay protected, health bosses are advising everyone to check if they’ve had two doses of the MMR vaccine – the recommended course for full immunity.
You can also contact your GP to check your records and book a catch-up vaccine for free if needed, regardless of age.

It’s been a tough season so far for Shels who have failed to replicate last season’s formShelbourne will be without their former manager Damien Duff for the clash
The first leg will be played on Wednesday July 9 at 7:45pm in Tolka Park and will be available to watch live on RTÉ Two and streamed on the RTÉ Player.
It will be the Auld Reds’ first Champions League campaign in 18 years as they have reclaimed the title for the first time since 2006.
But in 2006 due to financial struggles their Champions League qualifier spot was given to runners-up Derry City and Shelbourne were relegated to the First Division.
Shelbourne will be without their boss of the last three and a half seasons, Damien Duff following his resignation over the weekend.
Assistant manager Joey O’Brien took charge as interim manager in Shelbourne’s most recent fixture and is likely to take charge in two weeks time against Linfield unless a replacement is found.
His side put out a strong performance in a 2-2 draw with Waterford despite the unforeseen circumstances.
Shelbourne are not the only ones missing a crucial character for the clash as Linfield’s Chris Shields is suspended for the first leg.
Unfortunately RTÉ also announced that the second leg in Windsor Park on July 16 will not be shown.
However, BBC Sport NI will be showing both legs of the tie live and it will also be available to watch on the BBC Sport website and app.
It won’t be the first time the two sides have met as there has been a number of cross-border clashes.
Most recently for the men’s sides in 2006 when the Blues won 2-0 at Windsor Park and drew 0-0 at Tolka Park in the Setanta Sports Cup with both sides progressing from their group.
The two women’s teams have also met, playing each other in 2023 in the inaugural Women’s All-Island Cup group stages.
The sides drew 1-1 as Linfield finished bottom of the group and Shelbourne finished second, just missing out on a semi-final place.
