Man and woman, 30s, charged and due in court as part of ‘false imprisonment’ probe involving woman in Kildare

A MAN and woman in their 30s arrested as part of an investigation into an alleged ‘false imprisonment’ have been charged.

The alleged incident involving a woman occurred in Castletown, Celbridge, Co Kildare at 10.10pm on Monday night.

The two people were arrested within the first 90 minutes of Gardai receiving the report on the night.

They are now set to appear in Blanchardstown District Court No. 1 at 10.30am this morning.

In a statement a garda spokesperson said investigations were ongoing.

They said: “Gardai investigating the alleged incident of false imprisonment of a woman which occurred in Castletown, Celbridge, Co. Kildare on Monday 23rd June 2025 have charged the man and woman who were arrested in connection with this investigation.

“Both the man and woman, aged in their 30s, are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court No. 1 this morning Wednesday 25th June 2025 at 10.30am.

“Investigations ongoing.”

Joe Marinelli dead at 68: General Hospital and Guiding Light soap star dies after battle with stomach cancer

VETERAN TV actor Joe Marinelli has died after a battle with stomach cancer, aged 68.

The General Hospital and Santa Barbara star died in Burbank, California, his wife Jean Marinelli told The Hollywood Reporter.

The iconic actor was also known for his roles in The Morning Show and Guiding Light.

His friend Leigh J. McCloskey also confirmed Marinelli’s death, adding you could not find “a sweeter man or a dearer friend” than him.

The artist said: “Joe was a champion.

“He was a great acting partner, teacher, philosophical friend, passionate believer in people.”

Influencer Liver King arrested after ‘making threats’ to Joe Rogan in bizarre Instagram vid

SOCIAL media star Liver King has been arrested – days after sharing a bizarre video where he appeared to be calling out the podcaster Joe Rogan.

In the bizarre tirade, the influencer said he was picking a fight with Rogan.

Cops in Austin, Texas, have confirmed that Liver King, known as Brian Johnson, faces a terroristic threat charge.

“Joe Rogan, I’m calling you out, my name’s Liver King. Man to man, I’m picking a fight with you,” The Liver King said in the video. 

He said that he didn’t have training in jiu-jitsu.

“You’re a black belt. You should dismantle me,” Liver King said.

“But I’m picking a fight with you.”
