Love it even more after this trip. @cathal_pendred I’d be lost without you.”

Siomha and Cathal looked happy-as-ever as they posed in matching white bath robes in the gardens of the castle.

The popular presenter had a fresh-faced glow and wore her hair tied back in a sleek ponytail.

Later, Cathal snapped a gorgeous picture of Siomha enjoying a fruity cocktail in the hotel bar.

The beaming star raised her glass to cheers and lovingly smiled at her husband.

The happy couple were all dolled up as they posed for another selfie in their hotel room.

Siomha donned a champagne coloured blouse with a white satin midi skirt and dainty ballet flats.

The TV star had her brunette hair styled in beautiful beach waves and wore a basic make-up look.

The couple toasted their love with a bottle of champagne in their room before wandering hand-in-hand through the enchanting castle grounds where they previously declared: “I do.”

Siomha and Cathal enjoyed breakfast together on their final day where they delighted in completing the crossword and sudoku puzzles in the newspaper.

Fans all flocked to the comment section to wish the couple a happy anniversary.

‘HERE’S TO MANY MORE’

Fellow Ireland AM star, Muireann O’Connell wrote: “Happy anniversary Siomha and Cathal!”

Denise said: “Happy anniversary to you both, here’s to many more years.”

Patrick commented: “Congrats you two! How is it a year already.”

And Louise gushed: “The cutest couple!!”

She finished the look with a flowing, floor-length veil.

Several famous faces were spotted at the glamorous affair, including the bride’s Gra ar an Tra co-star, James Kavanagh, and influencer Niamh Cullen.

Former world champion Shaun Murphy shows no mercy to snooker wonderkid, 14, on history-making debut

The Magician faced 14-year-old Michal Szubarczyk on Monday for a place in the August competition.

Michal Szubarczyk made history by becoming the youngest professional player in snooker history[/caption]

But he didn’t go easy on his opponent, who made history at the Mattioli Arena in Leicester.

Murphy won the match 5-0 with breaks of 70, 91 and 102 and limited the teenager to just 60 points in total.

In facing the 2005 world snooker champion, Szubarczyk became the youngest professional in the sport’s history.

He earned his tour card by reaching the final of the European Amateur Snooker Championship in March.

Although he lost the final, the Polish star secured the card because the winner, Liam Highfield, had already earned one.

Szubarczyk is next due to play against amateur player Umut Dikme in qualifying for the British Open on Thursday.

Ahead of his tour debut, the 14-year-old said: “I love playing with the audience and cameras and I hope there will many matches like that.

“I don’t put much pressure on myself to win, I have a lot of time to achieve my goals.

“When I got the tour card there were very mixed emotions. I had been striving for this since I was seven years old. But then suddenly doubts appeared.

“Whether I can do it, whether I’m too young? There were questions about finances, and what about school, what about the rest of the family, will I manage?

“But I am sure it is the right decision because it has always been my dream.”

Szubarczyk also revealed that Ronnie O’Sullivan has been his idol from a young age.

He added: “I was almost seven when I first watched snooker. Dad was watching Ronnie play, I asked if I could sit in.

“Then I asked if we could go to play sometime. We went the next day and…here I am!

“Ronnie is still my hero, he has a special place in my head. His offensive, even aggressive style of play was my model when I started playing. Now I’m just improving all the time.”

And the second generation star claims defeat to the 11-1 American would be so shameful he would not be able to show his face.

Asked if he would quit boxing forever with a loss, Chavez Jr, 39, said: “Yes, man.” Before switching to his native Spanish.

Comedian Doknow translated to: “He says if he loses this fight, he’s done. He’s done with boxing, he’ll never fight again.

“He’ll go into hiding for two years and then maybe come back because he’d be embarrassed to lose to a man like Jake Paul.”

Paul, 28, hit back with: “Well, start planning it out buddy.”

Chavez Jr won the WBC title in 2011 before making three defences of the green and gold belt his dad helped make so prestigious.

But in recent years, dedication has plagued Chavez Jr’s career while struggling with substance abuse.

He is now a year sober meanwhile Paul is coming off a win over Mike Tyson – who controversially returned aged 58 in November.

JAKE PAUL’S controversial boxing career rolls on this weekend with the Problem Child facing boxing royalty in Anaheim, California.

Paul will face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, a highly-decorated former world middleweight champion.

The Mexican, 39, has fought just once in the last four years but has the best boxing resume of any fighter to step into a ring with Paul – bar Mike Tyson, who was aged 58 at the time they fought.

And Paul says victory over Chavez Jr puts him in line to earn a WBC and WBA world ranking – paving the way for a shock title shot.

He said: “My goal is to become world champion and the WBA and WBC plan on ranking me depending on my performance. And once I’m ranked I can go for the title shot.

“He’s a formidable opponent, former world champion, it’s a great, test ten rounds to get ready for what will ultimately be a world championship fight one day.”

Steven Gerrard looks baffled as dad ‘tries to take DNA from his legs to give to his son’ at meet-and-greet

STEVEN GERRARD was left baffled as a dad tried to “take his DNA” and give it to his son.

The bizarre encounter took place at a fan’s meet-and-greet in Bangkok, China with the Liverpool legend.

Gerrard, 45, was filmed on the stage with a father and son during the event.

The clip showed the dad rubbing the retired midfielder’s legs and trying to pass the DNA on to his son in the hope of him inheriting his talents.

The two Liverpool fans were then ushered off the stage by a security guard.

But Gerrard appeared baffled at what had just happened as he could be seen laughing in the background.

The clip has gone viral on social media, but fans think the act could have had an opposite effect.

Many believe that if the son does inherit anything from Gerrard, it would be his unreliable footing that cost him the Premier League title.

The 114-capped England midfielder infamously slipped against Chelsea during the 2013/14 title race.

His fall allowed Demba Ba to race through and score the Blues’ go-ahead goal in the 2-0 win at Anfield.

As a result, Liverpool lost the game and ultimately conceded the Premier League to Manchester City.

And fans made their feelings clear on social media.

One posted: “Guys gonna have slippy jelly legs now, nice one dad.”

A second wrote: “Just for him to let it slip.”

A third commented: “Depriving the kid of winning a league title.”

A fourth said: “Can’t wait for the slip.”

Another added: “This bloke is trying to take the DNA from Gerrard’s legs to put them into his own son’s is too funny.”

Gerrard retired from football in 2016 after a one-year spell with LA Galaxy.

He has since gone into management with a mixed bag of success.

He did well at Rangers as he won the Scottish Premiership in 2021 but then failed at Aston Villa.

Gerrard was most recently in charge of Saudi outfit Al-Ettifaq but was sacked back in January.

But Springer is ready to be a full-time professional after losing the Dutch Darts Championship final last month.

The German was eventually beaten by Jonny Clayton after seeing off the likes of Stephen Bunting, Jermaine Wattimena and Martin Schindler.

Springer told the Tops Tops Tops podcast: “From August, things will change. I won’t be working anymore.

“I enjoyed my job and I did it well, so this wasn’t easy.

“But I’ve decided that this chapter will close — at least for now — in August.

“When I have a weekend like Rosmalen, I get home around half past three in the morning.

“Then I’m up again at seven for work — plus a one-hour commute. Over time, it just drains you.

“That sense of security is going away for the moment, but I’ve got the option to go back at any time, no strings attached.

Springer, who got knocked out by Scott Williams on his World Championship debut last year, has been tipped to be a future star.

But he has taken an unusual route to becoming a pro after initially stalling to focus on his university studies.

Around 100 jobs to be lost at Primark headquarters in Dublin as company announce major scale backs in ‘difficult’ call

AROUND 100 jobs are set to be lost at the Primark Headquarters in Dublin amid cut backs across Ireland, the UK and the US.

The parent company of Penneys are planning to cut at least 150 jobs across their operations.

These job losses would span across procurement, finance and HR.

And around 100 of the 150 proposed redundancies would hit the Primark head office in Dublin.

There are currently 1,500 staff employed at the site in the capital.

The redundancies come amid a proposal by Primark bosses that would see a third party handle some support function activities.

Reportedly Accenture in Mumbai would take over these actives.

A spokesperson for the company said the decision was not taken lightly and supports would be in place for those workers impacted.

However, the company maintain the decision will allow them to “focus” their own resources.

A Primark spokesperson said: “As we continue to grow internationally, we need to evolve our operating model to best support this ambition.

“We’re exploring how resourcing via external partners could help support our operations so that we can focus our own resources on what we do best.”

“As part of this, we are now proposing that a number of support function activities move to a third party and we are beginning a collective consultation.”

“This unfortunately will impact a number of Primark colleagues primarily in our head office operations.”

The spokesperson added: “We understand how difficult this news is for those colleagues affected and we’ll be working to support them as best we can.”

The Irish layoffs represent around seven per cent of the 1,500 staff based at the international headquarters in Dublin.

FUTHER RETAIL BLOW

It is the latest blow for the Irish retail sector amid the closure of a River Island store in Dublin.

River Island has announced the closure of its Henry Street branch.

In a poster on the shop window, the retailer said they will be closing later this month.

The branch, which is one of 24 across the country, will close their doors on June 27.

It comes amid River Island closures in the UK ahead of a major restructuring, with around 230 stores are at risk of closure.

The retailer is set to undergo a restructuring as a result of tough trading conditions.

The latest one to shut is located in Banbury, and will close on June 28.

Sky News reported that the owners of River Island brought in advisers from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to come up with money-saving solutions.

PROFITS LOSS

Proposals are expected to be finalised in weeks, though sources have reportedly claimed no decisions have been approved on the retailer’s future.

Accounts for River Island Clothing Co for the year ending 30 December 2023 showed the firm made a €38million pre-tax loss.

Then the turnover during the following 12 months fell by more than 19 per cent to €677million.

I’m convinced my tiny penis was to blame for girlfriend dumping me – now I’m terrified to have sex with my new lover

STRUGGLING in the sack, hiding a secret kink or scoping out the best X-rated toys on the market? You need to ask a sexpert.

In our brilliant new series, The Sun’s leading sex expert Georgie Culley will be answering YOUR biggest bedroom conundrums, sharing her wild real-life experiences and practical tips to help you fulfil your wildest dreams between the sheets.

She kicks off by addressing a small problem troubling many blokes
Olivia West

You may recognise her from some of the steamy stories she’s covered over the years – from hush-hush high society sex soirees in Venice to entering an orgasm contest in New York to mark the 30th anniversary of When Harry Met Sally.

Here, she kicks off by helping a reader out with an, ahem, small problem – be sure to send in your sex conundrums using the form below.

Q: I’m quite a big guy (6ft 2) so women always expect me to be well endowed, but my penis size is just 3.5 inches when erect.

Whenever I meet a woman I like, I start to dread getting it on as I’m worried I’m going to be a total flop.

I’m convinced my last serious relationship broke down because of the size of my manhood.

What’s more, I don’t think I’ve ever given a woman an orgasm. Some exes admitted to faking it to spare my feelings.

Now, if I meet a woman I like, I end up ghosting her before sex as I can’t handle the thought of disappointing her.

Is there a way I can still be a good lover when I’m not blessed downstairs?

Georgie says: WHEN I think back to the best sex I’ve had, it’s not the size of the pecker I remember, it’s the whole package.

It’s the guys who took their time, who slowed things down and explored me from head to toe. The ones who genuinely cared about my pleasure and wanted to understand what really turned me on.

They might not have been blessed with the biggest kit, but they knew exactly how to use the tools they’d been given.

Because contrary to common belief, you don’t need to be hung like a porn star to rock a woman’s world. When it comes to actual pleasure, technique trumps size every time.

And here’s the science bit. The average penis size is around 5.1 inches, and the vaginal canal is roughly 3 to 4 inches deep – so anything much bigger is actually a bit of a waste.

That said, if you’re short on inches and worried about hitting the spot there are lots of clever tips and tricks you can do to maximise contact and boost pleasure.

Because in the end, it’s not the size of the ship – it’s whether you know how to steer it…

Be present

When you’re fully in the moment, you’re more in tune with your own body – and your partner’s.

You can read their reactions, adjust your touch, pace, and position, and make everything feel more intense and pleasurable.

One of my worst sexual encounters? With a ridiculously hot guy who was well above average… but who actually took a phone call mid-session! Yes really!

Men can feel self-conscious about size but Georgie has sound advice[/caption]

I had big expectations but despite his pornstar package, he was a total flop.

So here’s the deal: turn off your phone – and turn on your partner instead. Being present isn’t just polite – it’s one of the sexiest, most essential ingredients for great sex.

Use the 10:5:10 foreplay rule

A whopping 75 per cent of women won’t orgasm from penetrative sex alone, so it’s time to prioritise your starters before diving into the main course.

Enter the 10:5:10 foreplay rule – a simple but seriously effective formula that always leaves me begging for more. And no, you don’t need a stop watch to do it.

First 10 minutes: Focus on everything above the neck. That means deep kissing, lip biting, hair pulling, nibbling earlobes – basically, hitting all those glorious erogenous zones that get her mind and body in sync.

Next 5 minutes: Move south, from neck to belly button. Nipple play is key here – with 82 per cent of women reporting increased arousal from stimulation, it’s a guaranteed way to ramp things up.

Final 10 minutes: Now comes the grand finale – all the attention below the navel. This is clitoral central, so use your hands, your mouth, or bring in a toy to tease, tantalise and truly take your time.

Meet our sexpert

In her eight years at The Sun, there’s not much our Georgie hasn’t seen - or done - and she's loved every outrageous minute.

“People often ask how I became a sexpert,” she says. “Well, I’ve been fascinated by sex and relationships for as long as I can remember.

“As a teen, I devoured women’s mags full of scandalous confessions and steamy tips – and I was obsessed with Sex and the City.

“Maybe I was manifesting my inner Carrie Bradshaw from day one.

“I’d always dreamed of working at The Sun – and when I finally landed the job, I found my niche fast: going to sex parties and oversharing about my frequently chaotic love life.

“Over the years, I’ve built real trust within the kink and swinging community and I’ve interviewed hundreds of people about their sex lives.

“Add to that my own, um, ‘field research,’ and let’s just say I know what makes good sex great.”

Georgie says being a sexpert is about having life experience, curiosity, a sense of humour – and plenty of adventures along the way.

“There’s not much that shocks me these days,” she continues. “Except maybe a man who doesn’t believe in foreplay.

“But nothing makes me happier than hearing a reader say my advice helped them feel more confident (and satisfied) in bed.

“Now I’ll be answering your burning sex questions – and dishing out practical advice to help get you back in the saddle.”

Invest in a sex cushion

I’ll never forget the moment an ex – let’s call him Mark – whipped out this inflatable sex cushion and started blowing it up.

I won’t lie, it didn’t look like the sexiest contraption, but looks can definitely be deceiving.

What really stuck with me was how Mark owned the fact he was below average and wasn’t afraid to try something innovative to up his bedroom game.

And honestly? He was on to something.

One of my worst sexual encounters? A guy who answered a phone call mid-session!

Georgie Culley

The humble sex cushion is one of the greatest inventions ever. It helps you master nearly every position by supporting your body at just the right angles, so you get deeper thrusts and longer, stronger orgasms.

There are loads of sex aids out there, ranging from £17 to well over £100, but this one from Amazon is a winner –  and it’s priced at £42.99.

Try the pairing technique

A helping hand – so to speak – during sex can make all the difference when it comes to helping a woman cross the finish line.

While vaginal penetration alone isn’t enough for most women to orgasm, adding clitoral stimulation – whether with fingers or a toy – can significantly boost both the likelihood and intensity of climax.

This technique is known as “pairing”, and so many women tell how it’s a total gamechanger for them.

One standout toy that’s firmly in my top drawer? Ann Summer’s Moregasm+ Clit Stim.

I’ll never forget the moment an ex whipped out an inflatable sex cushion and started blowing it up

Georgie Culley, Sun Sexpert

Made from silky silicone that moulds beautifully to your body, it’s the perfect shape to slip between you during sex — without getting in the way.

Best bit? It stays on target, even when things get wet, wild, and wonderfully messy.

Improve hip flexibility

You don’t need to be a gymnast to level up your sex life — but improving your hip flexibility could seriously elevate your bedroom game.

Being a bit bendier between the sheets allows for deeper penetration, smoother thrusting and more adventurous positions without the awkward cramping.

Portrait of Georgette Cully.
Olivia West
Georgie has covered some truly wild events over a decade of writing for The Sun[/caption]

The hip flexor stretch is a simple exercise to help open your hips.

Kneel on one knee, with the other foot in front at a 90-degree angle. Gently push your hips forward to stretch the front of your hip. Hold for 30 seconds each side.

Mix up your positions

Doggy style is a classic for a reason and my go-to position if a guy isn’t that well endowed.

That’s because it allows for deep penetration, so you can make the most of what you’ve got.

To do it, have your partner on all fours – or for even deeper sensations, on their elbows and knees – while you enter from behind.

It’s also great for pairing with a hand or a toy for extra pleasure.

Elevated reverse cowgirl is a twist on the usual. Your partner straddles you, but instead of facing you, they face away – towards your feet.

To give you extra depth, pop a pillow under your hips. You’ll be lying back on the bed or floor, while they sit on top, facing away, riding you.

The flatiron might sound like a hair tool, but it’s also a sizzling sex position. Have your girlfriend lie flat on their front, legs squeezed together.

Add a pillow under her pelvis to lift her hips slightly. You then lie on top and enter from behind.

The tightness of her thighs ups the friction and sensation – and helps both of you feel every inch.

Ronaldo, 40, claimed Topuria “talked too much” and hadn’t beaten anyone of note in the build-up to his clash with Max Holloway.

Boyhood Los Blancos fan Topuria was left disappointed by Ronaldo’s jibe, so much so that he took aim at him on social media.

He said: “I didn’t expect someone like you to be unable to distinguish between confidence and arrogance.”

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo didn’t hit back at the Georgian-born Spaniard, whom he eventually followed on social media

During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Topuria said of the row: “I think he said something about me when he was in the backstage with Ngannou and it felt bad, to be honest.

“But then, he started following me. So we’ll see. Maybe one day we’ll meet and chat.

“This is what I said, once he meets me in person, he’s not going to have that opinion about me.

“That I talk too much and this and that. But maybe that’s the perception they have about me when they see me on social media.

Topuria, 28, returns to action early on Sunday morning in the main event of UFC 317 in Las Vegas

He’ll bid to become the promotion’s tenth two-division champion by winning the vacant lightweight title against former belt holder Charles Oliveira

He said of the Sin City showdown: “Charles is a great fighter.

“I’d say he’s a legendary fighter, one of the few still active in the UFC.

“But the truth is that his style fits perfectly with mine to put him to sleep in the first round.

“Because he has no mobility, he doesn’t move.”
