New London cultural destination to open in the city with Vegas-like dome attraction

A NEW cultural destination is coming to London with a giant Vegas-like dome.

The Holborn Dome will be home to office spaces, a cultural space and a 300-person auditorium in central London.

Located next to Chancery Lane tube station, the new venue will replace the surrounding offices and shops and bring them into one larger building.

The centre and a number of retail shops will be located on the ground floor.

And as part of the project, there will be a main auditorium with a double-height domed ceiling.

Whilst The Holborn Dome aims to commemorate the earlier Knights Templar Church, which was demolished at the site a long time ago – plans reveal a similar dome-like structure to that of the Vegas Sphere.

The round cultural space will be similar to the round churches that the Templars used to build.

And the design of the dome is inspired by the former Knights Templar Church – which once stood in nearly the same spot as where the new dome will sit.

The auditorium will be used for exhibitions and provide an immersive experience.

When the site eventually opens, there will also be parts of the walls from the original church revealed and put on display where possible.

There will be a remodelled pocket park at the rear of the building too, and upgraded public routes around the entire site.

Facilities such as the water fountain and toilets will also be upgraded.

Once completed, there will also be a number of exhibition spaces across the 10-storey-tall destination.

According to MyLondon, deputy Tom Sleigh, chair of the planning and transportation committee, said: “This is exactly the kind of scheme we want to see more of in the Square Mile – best-in-class office space that keeps London globally competitive, while also delivering public spaces that everyone can enjoy.

“Supporting the primary business function of the City through meeting this huge level of demand for office space is critical.

“But I’m particularly pleased by the retention of sections of the Knights Templar, a brilliant way to connect the new venue with the history of the site.”

Of course, The Holborn Dome will not be anywhere near the same size as the Vegas Sphere .

The US attraction towers 112metres into the sky and stretches 157metres wide.

And whilst the both the interior and exterior of The Holborn Dome won’t be a colossal screen, inside it will offer an immersive visitor experience.

The world’s deepest bar is also set to open in London as part of huge new £120million attraction.

Plus, a first-of-its-kind Titanic attraction is coming to England this summer, and is expected to make guests feel like they’re on the ship.

Hapless Sunday league team banned from its OWN pub the night before games as landlord shows ‘tough love’

SEVEN in 10 Sunday League footballers admit to playing while hungover – after having one too many the night before.

The poll of 1,000 amateur players also found that more than six in ten (65 per cent) regularly hit the pub before matchday, sinking an average of four and a half drinks per visit.

One Sunday League team has even been barred from their local[/caption]

Of those who have stumbled onto the pitch worse for wear, 15 per cent claim a boozy night improves their game and 26 per cent still manage to bag a goal.

While 21 per cent rubbed their eyes in disbelief after missing an open goal, and 29 per cent make wayward passes.

Nearly six in 10 (59 per cent) confess to overestimating their ability to play, the day after the night before.

But the problems go beyond the pint glass – as many as 85 per cent of players admit their football career has been hampered by poor prep.

From skipping warm-ups (43 per cent) and training (31 per cent) to forgetting boots (11 per cent) or turning up at the wrong ground (8 per cent).

The research, commissioned by Specsavers as part of its Best Worst Team campaign, shines a light on the struggles of teams like Tunley Athletic, a Sunday league side whose local pub – The King William Inn – has now banned players from drinking there the night before games.

Landlord Tom Watson said: “We’ve pulled more pints for this team than they’ve scored goals – so we figured it was our turn to switch tactics.

“Banning the lads the night before a match is our way of showing tough love.

“We’re not saying no to beers – just not before the final whistle.

“Hopefully next season, the only thing they’ll be losing is their losing streak!”

Cognitive slip-ups are also common, with 19 per cent misjudging distances, 28 per cent passing to the wrong team, and 22 per cent struggling with headers – often due to fatigue, dehydration or lack of focus.

And when it comes to fuelling up, one in four players opt for junk food on matchday morning, while 12 per cent go for a full English.

Almost three in 10 (28 per cent) have skipped having a pre-game breakfast altogether, according to OnePoll.com data.

Despite this, 89 per cent agree that good preparation – including proper nutrition, hydration and sleep – is essential, even at grassroots level.

To help Tunley Athletic turn things around, Specsavers has brought in top sports nutritionist Ted Munson to create a bespoke nutrition plan for the team.

Ted added: “Nutrition plays a key role at any level – from grassroots to the Premier League – allowing novice athletes to prepare, execute and recover more effectively.

“What we put into our body within 48 hours of a match directly impacts our physical output on the pitch.”

“I’ll be working with Tunley Athletic on the fundamentals – ensuring their pre-match meals are carbohydrate-rich and eaten at least 2 hours before kick-off, focusing on hydration habits which can make or break performance, and helping them fuel properly during games.

“I promote an 80/20 rule – get 80 per cent of your nutrition right and enjoy the other 20% with treats. So yes, enjoy a beer or takeaway, but save it for after the game, not before!”

The final episode of Specsavers’ Best Worst Team Season 3 is now available to watch on YouTube

I used B&M & Primark bargains to turn my balcony into a tropical paradise – I also made it super private with a £10 buy

A MOTHER has revealed that she hasn’t got a garden, so gave her balcony a total transformation without breaking the bank.

Whilst she was pregnant, Victoria Wright, who is better known as ‘Vickaboox’ online, nabbed a haul of bargain buys from B&M and Primark to give her outside space a mega makeover.

Not only was she able to add colour and style to the balcony, but thanks to a £10 buy from B&M, she was able to turn it into a tropical paradise with much more privacy.

The 29-year-old content creator, who now has a baby boy called Christopher, took to social media to share her balcony transformation, leaving many totally stunned.

The mum-of-one who lives in a flat, showed off her “basic” balcony and said: “Let’s take our balcony from boring, basic, plain, crusty, dusty to year of the bad B, not the sad B, cocktail in hand vibes and of course we’ve done it on the cheap using everything from Primark and B&M.”

The influencer then revealed the step-by-step process of the balcony overhaul, as she added: “So first of all, we cleaned the balcony…then once everything was clean, we laid out our new outdoor rug – this one was on sale in B&M for £12.

“We also got some reed screening from B&M on sale for £10, just to give that tropical vibe and also for a bit more privacy.”

Victoria attached the reed screening with cable ties to ensure it was “nice and secure” and explained that when they move, they can remove it easily without any damage.

To then give the balcony a bit of colour, she added £1 hanging pots she bought from Primark and planted some flowers.

Following this, she accessorised the space with cheap LED fairy lights and tea light holders.

Thrilled with her balcony’s new look, Victoria beamed: “I think this looks super fun, super colourful, also deposit friendly because we rent, so we didn’t have to change anything or make any dramatic changes.

“Just added a little bit of life and a bit of colour. I love it.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @vickaboox, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 11,700 likes and 70 comments.

8 must-have plants to brighten up your garden

Nick Hamilton owner of Barnsdale Gardens has shared his favourite plants and flowers you should consider adding to your garden, borders and pots.

Tricyrtis

A spectacular plant that gives a real exotic feel to any garden with its orchid-like, spotted flowers giving the impression that this plant should be tender but it is “as tough as old boots!”.

Penstemon

I love this plants genus of because most will flower all summer and autumn. They’ll grow in sun or semi-shade in a well drained soil and produce a non-stop display of tubular flowers in an array of colours and colour combination to suit all tastes.

Luzula sylvatica ‘Marginata’

With the evergreen leaves edged with yellow it’s great asset is that it
will grow in sun or shade in any type of soil and is great as groundcover in the hardest spot to fill – dry shade.

Eryngium x zabelii ‘Big Blue’

A stunning, nectar-rich plant that will feed the beneficial insects in your
garden. Leave the flowerheads once they have turned brown because they look stunning with winter frost and snow, extending the plant’s interest period.

Sarcococca hookeriana ‘Winter Gem’

If you need winter scent then look no further than this compact, evergreen shrub. The scent is stunning and the evergreen leaves create an excellent backdrop for the summer flowers.

Cornus sanguinea ‘Anny’s Winter Orange’

A dwarf version of ‘Midwinter Fire’ the very colourful stems create a stunning winter display, particularly on sunny days.

Rosa ‘Noisette Carnee’

A very well-behaved climbing rose that is perfect for training over an arch, pergola or gazebo. The small, “noisette” flowers are blush-pink and produce the most amazing clove scent constantly from June to November.

Sanguisorba hakusanensis ‘Lilac Squirrel’

I’ve never seen a squirrel with a drooping, shaggy lilac tail, but this variety will give your garden an unusual and different look throughout summer. It does need a moisture retentive soil but will grow in sun or semi-shade.

Social media users were stunned by Victoria’s balcony makeover and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Omg I love it.”

Never thought I’d have balcony envy!

Another added: “Looks so cute.”

A third commented: “Looks beautiful.”

Meanwhile, someone else gushed: “Looks absolutely gorgeous!

How to save money at B&M

Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.

The scanner lets you see if an item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.

The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.

According to one ex-B&M manager, you’ll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.

Here’s how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:

  • Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
  • Once you’ve installed it on your device, click on the option labelled “more” on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
  • You’ll then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and you’ll open a camera screen.
  • Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
  • If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
  • You don’t need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.

My neighbour ruined my fence and shed in seconds – I’m fuming, I spent hours making it look lovely for summer

LIVING with close neighbours can be fun – until you have a disagreement.

One woman learned this the hard way after the man next door decided to do some rather messy DIY.

Neighbor's paint spilled onto fence and shed.
A woman claims her neighbour painted the fence and it seeped through onto her side
TikTok/renovate_with_me2

She shared how her neighbour had decided to paint their garden fence and it had splattered and seeped through the wooden slats onto her side.

The woman posted the sight she was met with in a video on her @renovate_with_me2 account.

She wrote: “POV: you’ve spent HOURS painting the garden, only to come home to see the neighbours painted their fence AND over your shed.

“How does that happen with a paint brush??!!”

The homeowner then asked her followers: “Would you say something to the neighbour or bite your lip and buy more paint?!”

Many people felt her pain, and supported her in the comments.

One said: “Happened to me I brought all new fencing at cost of 5 grand and next door painted their side bright red it drips all down my side and all over the new concrete.”

Another shared: “I would invite them round and tell them to repaint your shed.”

However, some defended the man, saying: “Isnt it their fence tho.”

Another pointed out: “They are allowed to paint their side of the fence.”

Someone else wrote: “Unfortunately, that’s their fence on their side so all you can do, is paint over the part you can see, tricky to avoid the drips on the feather board.”

Others suggested that she contact her neighbour politely about the issue.

One said: “I’d say politely to come and have a look and show them. See what they say. They might not realise and be kind. Or they might be a holes. But won’t know until they see it.”

Someone else had a brilliant solution: “This happened to us a few years ago, same colour too. Now me and my neighbour [have] an agreement where we paint our fence on the same day so if anything seeps through, we just paint straight over it and definitely no spray guns!”

Typically if a fence is entirely on your property, you have every right to change it as you see fit.

If a fence is on the boundary line or your neighbour’s property, you should ask their permission before painting it.

She hated how her fence looked after his DIY job
TikTok/renovate_with_me2

In the case of shared fence ownership, East Coast Fencing advises that “any changes or repairs should ideally be agreed upon by both property owners.”

They continue: “Painting one side of a shared fence without consulting your neighbour can lead to disputes and potentially damage the relationship.

“Open communication and mutual agreement are essential in these situations.”

Altering a fence without permission can result in a fine or legal action.

The first and most recommended step is to talk to your neighbour as many disputes can be resolved amicably through calm discussion.

What are your rights over a fence row?

IT'S very important to know your rights if you are embroiled in a fence row with a neighbour.

How do I know which side I own?

A boundary feature can be a fence, wall, hedge, ditch, piece of wire, or sometimes even just the edge of a driveway.

The only way to know for certain who owns what side and to avoid any neighbour disputes, is to refer to the title plan or Land Registry.

In this, the T mark is used to indicate who the boundary belongs to and therefore who is responsible for its upkeep, say pros at Jacksons Fencing.

Larger developments tend to have some indication provided by the builder, but there are no hard and fast rules

People often think they are responsible for the left (or right) hand boundary wherever they live, but there isn’t any legal basis for this.

You can check with HM Land Registry to see which boundary feature you are responsible for.

Often households can’t get hold of the paperwork but experts say they shouldn’t panic.

Homeowners can guess who owns the fence by checking where the rails are.

Pros say: “The fence is typically facing away from their property so that their neighbour gets the ‘good’ side.

“This is the most secure way of facing fencing so there are no rails for anyone to use to climb into your garden.

“This is then repeated with the neighbour on the other side to ensure that each home has both a ‘good’ and ‘bad’ fence side.”

Walls and fences are often built on the land of the boundary’s owner with the edge of the wall marking the limit.

While professionals agree a glimpse at the fence can give you a hint, it’s not foolproof – so you can’t be certain.

Fines and punishment

It is recommended to always check legal documents before making changes to avoid hefty fines.

There is no law that the neighbour has to get the good side of the fence, so it’s completely up to whoever owns the fence.

Fencing pros have suggested: “It may be worth selecting a double-sided panel with no ‘bad’ side as both sides look the same and rails are concealed within the fence panel.”

If one boundary backs onto a road or footpath you can install the panels with the rails on the inside

But if it’s installed on the outside, it can provide an “easy ladder for burglars to enter your garden”.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Property Litigation Association have created a mediation service to help neighbours resolve disputes over their property boundaries without resorting to court action.

RICS also provides a list of surveyors who could assist in boundary disputes.

If a dispute continues, it is ultimately a court that makes decisions, but they do not like such disputes being put before them.

Changing a boundary

If you want to change an existing boundary, such as replacing an old fence with a new one, we always recommend discussing with your neighbour first and making sure it is all agreed.

The registered titles can help you to reach an agreement, but only if this information has been added.

In terms of decorations on a fence legal advisers recommended asking around over who actually first installed it.

But they also urged caution before getting to work on amending the fence without getting more certainty yourself – since there is a danger of actually being prosecuted for criminal damage.

How high can a garden fence be?

The height of the fence is measured from your ground level, this can have an impact when, due to slopes in the ground, your garden may be at a higher level than your neighbours’.

A garden fence can be as high as 100m but you need to get planning permission if it’s over than 2m.

However, there are some complications to this.

If you are thinking about front garden fences, restrictions state that fences alongside a driveway can be a maximum of 1m or 3ft.

You would need to get planning permission for putting a trellis on a fence of 2m.

But, if any plant that you grow on that trellis exceeds 2m, you do not need to obtain a permit for the growing plant.

How to measure a TV screen: From viewing distance to sizes, a step-by-step guide

IF you’re thinking about buying a new TV and need help figuring out if you’ve got the space for a bigger one, we’ve got you covered.

Whether you’re treating yourself or you’ve been gifted a set and want to know its dimensions, it’s helpful to know how to measure the size of a TV screen.

Person measuring the back of a TV screen with a tape measure.
Read our step-by-step guide to measuring your TV the right way

You’ll find plenty of TV deals out there, with retailers offering price drops on televisions ranging from a tiny 24 inches to a humongous 85 inches in size.

It’s also important to remember that TV manufacturers list diagonal, not vertical or horizontal screen size – this is an industry standard.

If you’re working out where to install your TV, it’s a good idea to measure its depth, too.

With that in mind, read on to find out how to measure a TV screen, step by step – all you’ll need is a measuring tape.

Before you purchase a new TV, make sure you know which TV size you should buy.

How do I measure a TV screen size?

Here’s our step-by-step guide to measuring your TV screen.

1. Diagonally measure the whole TV

To begin with, you want to take measuring tape and run it from one corner to that of one diagonally opposite.

This will include the bezel (the border surrounds the screen itself) – in other words, the entirety of the television.

You’ll likely notice a few millimetres’ discrepancies between what you measured and your television’s advertised size – don’t worry, this is pretty standard.

2. Diagonally measure just the TV screen

Now, measure from the same corners, but this time just measure the screen – don’t include the bordering bezel.

Don’t be surprised if this measurement is a little smaller than the advertised size – this is because most TVs have a tiny portion of their screens hidden away under the bezel.

3. Horizontally and vertically measure the whole TV

It’s always worth recording the overall dimensions of your television, so use your tape measure to make a note of the TV’s width and height.

This will probably be useful if you decide to buy a TV stand or TV bracket.

4. Measure the depth of the TV

Most TVs take up very little depth these days, but there can still often be a chunky component behind the screen.

Make a note of your television’s depth – this is particularly handy if you’re thinking of putting your TV on a shelving unit, cabinet, or inside an alcove.

Screen size by viewing distance calculator

Selecting the right screen size based on your viewing distance is essential for an optimal viewing experience.

Luckily for shoppers, there is a clever trick to calculate the optimal TV size for your viewing distance.

The simplest thing to do is to work out where you want to position your TV, measure the distance to the seats in your room, and then consult the list below.

TV sizes and distance from the screen

TV size: 32 inches – Viewing distance: seven feet or two metres

TV size: 40 to 43 inches – Viewing distance: eight feet or 2.5 metres

TV size: 49 to 50 inches – Viewing distance: nine to 10 feet or 2.7 to three metres

TV size: 55 inches – Viewing distance: 11 to 12 feet or 3.4 to 3.7 metres

TV size: 65 inches – Viewing distance: 13 feet or four metres

What sizes do TVs come in?

Common TV sizes include 32”, 43”, 50”, and 55”.

There are also larger sizes available for those seeking a more immersive viewing experience.

Retailers like LG and Samsung stock larger models, including 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch TVs.

How to decide what size TV will suit you

Trying to figure out what TV size works best for your space?

You’ll want to consider key factors like viewing distance, room size, and resolution.

Higher resolution, like 4K or 8K, provides a sharper image, especially on larger screens, and allows for closer viewing distances without pixelation.

What is the most popular TV size to buy?

According to a recent YouGov survey: ”The most desired screen sizes are between 44 and 55 inches, preferred by 35% of British adults.”

Meanwhile, 21% of Brits prefer a TV between 56 and 65 inches, and 8% want a screen over 65 inches.

Sh had already lost 4st in six months[/caption]

After being on Mounjaro for six months, she shared the things she wish she knew before starting her journey.

In the clip, she said: “The weight won’t magically come off, you need to have a lifestyle change.”

She said walking and a calorie deficit were vital to shift weight even with the help of the fat loss jab.

Kathryn also warned that you won’t notice the weight loss on yourself for months even if it is happening.

“That being said, my face was the first place I noticed it,” she explained.

Kathryn also had some advice for those dealing with negative side effects of the drug.

She said: “Drink at least 3 litres of water a day, trust me. It makes the world of difference for how you feel day to day and helps numerous side effects.”

After losing 4st, she also revealed fibre was super important to help shift the weight.

With weight loss jabs, many people feel less hungry so struggle to eat enough fibre.

But Kathryn recommended fibre supplements to make sure you get the daily recommendation.

“I’m a terrible veg eater so I get mine mainly through vitamins, oats or fibre bars you can buy at the shops. Graze do one that is sticky toffee pudding flavour and it’s great,” she added.

Kathryn also warned those going on the drug not to totally restrict what they eat and drink.

She said you can have everything in moderation instead of changing your whole diet.

The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @kathrynelizabethx with over 160k views and 2,000 likes.

People were quick to share their experiences in the comments.

One person wrote: “My nausea is so bad for the first two days and I have absolutely no appetite whatsoever! I feel like I can’t win.”

Another commented: “Completely agree with all of this! I’m at the end of my 5th week and lost 18lbs. Feeling good, and both myself and friends have said they can see a difference.”

“Do you still have to drink water even if you’ve got no side effects?” penned a third.

What are the other side effects of weight loss jabs?

Like any medication, weight loss jabs can have side effects.

Common side effects of injections such as Ozempic include:

Nausea: This is the most commonly reported side effect, especially when first starting the medication. It often decreases over time as your body adjusts.

Vomiting: Can occur, often in conjunction with nausea.

Diarrhea: Some people experience gastrointestinal upset.

Constipation: Some individuals may also experience constipation.

Stomach pain or discomfort: Some people may experience abdominal pain or discomfort.

Reduced appetite: This is often a desired effect for people using Ozempic for weight loss.

Indigestion: Can cause a feeling of bloating or discomfort after eating.

Serious side effects can also include:

Pancreatitis: In rare cases, Ozempic may increase the risk of inflammation of the pancreas, known as pancreatitis, which can cause severe stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Kidney problems: There have been reports of kidney issues, including kidney failure, though this is uncommon.

Thyroid tumors: There’s a potential increased risk of thyroid cancer, although this risk is based on animal studies. It is not confirmed in humans, but people with a history of thyroid cancer should avoid Ozempic.

Vision problems: Rapid changes in blood sugar levels may affect vision, and some people have reported blurry vision when taking Ozempic.

Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar): Especially if used with other medications like sulfonylureas or insulin.

Kathryn replied: “Yes! I found that the days I haven’t drunk enough water I get the side effects the next day. It’s a vicious cycle.”

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Looking fabulous! Well done!”

“You look amazing,” claimed a fifth

Someone else added: “My favourite part is scaring the daylights out of people I’ve not seen in a year. I’m a new me.”

Una often gives fans a glimpse into her day-to-day life with her kids on social media.

And yesterday, the Tipperary native and her 13-year-old daughter Aoife joined the crowds at Olivia Rodrigo‘s sold out show in Marlay Park, where the American pop sensation was playing to 40,000 fans.

The 43-year-old and her lookalike daughter posed for a quick selfie in the car on their way to the gig.

The duo looked the part in their white graphic tees with purple details, which is Olivia’s signature colour.

Una opted for a natural makeup look while Aoife styled her hair with decorative embellishments and completed her outfit with face gems.

The mum-of-two captioned her post: “Great day out @oliviarodrigo.”

Fans and friends were all left saying the same thing as they flocked to the comment section to share their love.

Laura said: “Her mamas twin.”

Peter wrote: “Looking like sisters.”

Claire commented: “Twins.”

Teresa said: “Clones of each other.”

Another added: “Both beautiful.”

Una recently got shot down by her former bandmates after suggesting a reunion.

The Saturdays racked up 12 UK top ten hits and released four studio albums between 2007 and 2014.

Una opened up about her experience being in a girlband on Lisa Snowdon and Andy Goldstein’s podcast We’re Not Getting Any Younger recently.

WHAT ABOUT US

Speaking about Rochelle HumesVanessa White, Frankie Bridge and Mollie King, Una said: “We all got on really well and we spent all the time together because we were travelling together, getting ready together in little tiny changing rooms.

“There was no kind of getting away from each other. So we were just like a family. I’m close to all of them. I speak to them all. We’re all in a group chat.”

The mum-of-two admitted that herself and her former bandmates “don’t see each other often enough” and would like to see them more.

She added: “But we definitely need to organise more get togethers, all of us.”

And when asked if the Tipperary native missed her glory days, she confessed: “Yeah, I really do. They were so… I just felt like I was living the dream.

“I’d worked so hard and grafted and singing in bars and pubs. So getting into a girl band and having that experience and everything was the best years of my life.”

The 43-year-old even said that she would “totally” be up for getting back together and added: “I would love to.”

And Waterford Treasures has unveiled its brand-new Children’s Viking Tour.

Kids can get the full experience as young visitors are turned into fearless Viking adventurers, in the heart of Ireland’s oldest city.

From July 5, families can step back over a thousand years and walk the very streets as Vikings.

The Children’s Viking Tour offers an immersive and magical way for kids to learn history, by living it.

Located within a two-minute walking distance of the main car park, the adventure begins at the Viking House.

The house is built to be a full-size replica of a real viking home.

Upon arrival you are greeted by a Viking guide and handed your own toy sword that you can keep later on.

From there you are off on a light walking tour through Waterford’s ancient narrow streets.

You share the experience as the groups consist of 25 people on each tour.

Explore the ancient items like tools and transport the Vikings used, with a 40 foot longboat available to see.

Guides share ancient stories in Reginald’s Tower, built for the Viking Rognvald, King of Waterford.

Children are invited to explore the day-to-day of Viking life when they return to the Viking House at the tour’s end.

Get an educational day out while keeping the fun for your children this summer.

The tour runs every Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm, starting July 5, and lasts a little over 30 minutes.

Perfect for families looking to enjoy the outdoors while discovering something truly different, this is not just a tour.

Tickets are €9.50 per child aged 5–12, which includes a toy sword to take home.

Adults are €9.50 and children under 5 go free, with the option to purchase a sword for €2.50.

At only €35 you can get a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children under 12) with additional children just €6.50.

Pre-booking is recommended, as each tour is limited to 25 participants.

So step into the story, become a Viking for a day, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
