CONOR BENN lost £50,000 in three months on a dud Rolls-Royce.
The 28-year-old son of British ring legend Nigel banked £8million and a brand new Roller for suffering a unanimous decision loss to Chris Eubank Jr in April.
GettyConor Benn went to war with Chris Eubank Jr in a Brit classic at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April[/caption]
INSTAGRAM@CONORBENNOFFICIALBenn treated himself to a second luxury Rolls-Royce with his spoils for the Tottenham tussle[/caption]
INSTAGRAM@CONORBENNOFFICIALBenn is still cursing buying a used Roller, which ended up costing him £50,000[/caption]
But he’s still wounded by the first luxury motor he bought with his earlier purses.
Benn, speaking to Reece Mennie on his podcast, explained all about his worst ever investment.
He smiled as he said: “My Rolls-Royce! Not the one that I just bought, but the one before.
“That’s the worst investment I’ve ever made and it hurt me. I had it for about three months and lost £50,000 on it.
“Don’t buy a Rolls-Royce with a body count on it!”
Benn and Eubank, 36, are contractually tied to a rematch with their Saudi sponsors booking the rerun for September 20.
Before then, fight fans have the undisputed heavyweight decider at Wembley on July 19, when undefeated Oleksandr Usyk goes up against Daniel Dubois for a second time.
And Benn is backing the Ukraine genius to dominate the Brit powerhouse again.

The super-welterweight said: “I think Usyk beats every person on the planet.
“But you can’t write fighters like Dubois or AJ off, they make boxing exciting.
“The kind of boxers that go down and get back up when you think it’s lights out and pull it out of the bag.
“That makes boxing exciting, people love a bit of vulnerability and adversity in the ring.
“I think Dubois is coming off a good run and he could knock him out, but it would have to be really early.
“He can hurt Usyk of course, but Usyk is like a computer that downloads the data, processes it and does what he needs to do with it. I think he will be a lot more clued up this time with what to expect.”
Benn and Dubois have their opponents and dates confirmed but Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are still messing around regarding their comebacks.
The Iflord brawler predicts an all-English riot soon, though.
Don’t buy a Rolls Royce with a body count on it!”
Conor Benn
“The fight has got to happen,” he said. “It can’t not happen.
“It would seriously be so disrespectful to everybody if that fight did not happen.
“ I don’t really want to sit on the fence. I just think Fury’s style could be all wrong for AJ, but then you can never write AJ off with the athleticism.
“I think it’s now at a stage of who has got what left.
“I think it would mean more to AJ, but I don’t think you can ever write Fury off, but it depends on what Fury turns up.
“I would probably have to put my money on Fury.”

What to expect from Katie Taylor?
After suffering her first professional loss in May 2023 against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin, Katie Taylor has bounced back in emphatic fashion. She avenged her defeat against the British boxer six months later before securing a second consecutive victory against Serrano in November 2024.
Taylor and Serrano slugged it out in a thriller in Dallas last time out, with The Bray Bomber squeaking out a 95-95 victory with all of the judges. Many of Taylor’s rivals have backed her to secure a third win this weekend and cement her place as the greatest female boxer of all time.
Amanda Serrano will be looking to avenge what many feel was a controversial outcome the last time these two women met in Dallas. Many pundits felt Serrano dominated the match in Dallas, and there is a strong belief from within her camp that she will finally land her first win against Taylor this weekend in New York.
Serrano is undoubtedly the more powerful of the two fighters and has the bigger stoppage potential. The Puerto Rican is going to have to take a different approach this weekend, but given her talent and experience, she should certainly not be taken lightly.
Fill out the following stats.

Age: 36
Height: 5’5
Weight: 133.6 lbs
Record: 47-3-1 (31 KOs)
Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano tips
The odds for this weekend’s fight are extremely close. As such, we have selected the following three betting tips to provide some alternatives to the winners market.
Katie Taylor to win by decision or technical decision
Taylor is undoubtedly the more gifted boxer of the two women, and she holds a 2-0 record over Serrano, with both results coming by decision. Serrano packs a serious punch, with 31 of the Puerto Rican’s victories coming by KO, but if, as she has done in previous fights, Taylor can avoid this, then a decision victory becomes increasingly likely as the fight enters the championship rounds.
After being slightly reserved in the first fight, Taylor threw over 500 punches in the second fight, landing 217. The Bray Bomber is renowned for upping her game in the final stages of the fight, and if the points victory is within sight once again, you can expect a serious flurry in the final stages.
If you want to back Amanda Serrano in the fight, then you should consider backing her to win by stoppage. Serrano has a fierce KO record, and while she definitely has the ability to win the fight on points, given she is 2-0 down in the series, she will want her win to be emphatic and undisputable.
Father Time catches up with everyone eventually, and we saw in her first fight with Cameron that Taylor is not unstoppable. If you are going to back Serrano to win, then doing so by stoppage at 11/2 with Spreadex offers good value.
History will be made in New York this weekend when Madison Square Garden hosts its first-ever all-female boxing card. In the night’s co-main event, Alycia Baumgardner puts her undisputed women’s junior lightweight championship on the line against Jennifer Miranda. Baumgardner is the clear favourite here, with bet365 pricing her at 1/25 and Miranda at 11/1.
Chantelle Cameron, the only woman to have defeated Katie Taylor, is also in action earlier in the night, taking on Jessica Camara. Cameron is the heavy favourite here, being priced at 1/25 to her opponent’s 11/1.
Here is the card in full:
Alycia Baumgardner vs Jennifer Miranda
Savannah Marshall vs Shadasia Green
Ellie Scotney vs Yamileth Mercado
Cherneka Johnson vs Shurretta Metcalf
Chantelle Cameron vs Jessica Camara

CORONATION Street’s Samia Longchambon has landed a big-money deal away from the soap.
The veteran cobbles star, 42, will earn a pretty penny fronting adverts for Omaze, which offers entrants the chance to win luxuryhomes.
SplashSamia Longchambon has signed a lucrative deal with Omaze[/caption]
ITVSamia plays Maria Connor in the soap[/caption]
The lucrative deal typically pays between £6,000 and £8,000 a day. Samia isn’t the first Corrie star to work with the brand. Daniel Brocklebank and Tina O’Brien have also cashed in, though the actors needed special permission to do so.
A source said: “It’ll leave the rest of the cast fuming as they have to ask special permission to do these money-spinning jobs outside the soap and this is the second one she’s got.”
The Sun has contacted ITV for comment.
Samia and her pro ice skating husband Sylvain also partnered with M&S on Instagram earlier this year.
The filmed a reel plugging the cafe’s seasonal menu.
While her co-star Sair Khan, 37, was allowed to upload a glossy video of a posh, £2,500 Italian oven from Bertazzoni.
We revealed there was pushback at the time from some of the show’s stars affected by ITV budget cuts, who claimed to have had similar work offers blocked.
One actress, who said she has had two deals knocked back this year, told The Sun: “It’s one rule for the polished PR favourites, and another for the rest of us.
“If you’re not part of the golden circle, forget it.
“They wouldn’t let most of us even do a teeth-whitening collaboration, meanwhile Samia’s out there posing with pastries.
“It’s a total p**s take.
“We’ve been told time and time again: no ads, no endorsements — not so much as a candle on Instagram.
“But then Samia pops up in a full-blown promo for M&S and everyone’s just supposed to pretend it’s normal?
“People are keeping quiet as they don’t want to rock the boat or get the boot but there’s a lot of anger.
“Why are some allowed to cash in while the rest of us struggle?”
Samia has played the Street’s Maria Connor on and off since 2000 while Sair has portrayed Alya Nazir since 2014.
According to internal documents, outside work must be pre-approved, must not conflict with ITV’s commercial partners or damage an actor’s character’s integrity.
It comes amid a cash crisis for the long-running soap.
We revealed in April how bosses are reducing filming schedules, putting actors on part-time contracts and reworking scenes to stretch airtime to cut costs and raise revenue.
A Coronation Street spokeswoman said at the time: “We do not discuss individual cases, but the cast are aware that all requests for commercial deals go through an approvals process and are dealt with on a case by case basis.”

IF you want to give your wardrobe an upgrade for summer, you’ve come to the right place.
And according to a fashionista, there’s a high street shop we’ve all been sleeping on for years.
A fashion fan has revealed the high street shop we’ve been missing out on for yearsinstagram/@pia_gracesmithinstagram/@pia_gracesmith
So if you want maxi dresses, wide leg trousers and tops that are perfect for summer, you’ve come to the right place[/caption]
New LookThese wide leg trousers are great for summer days[/caption]
New LookMeanwhile, this dress is sure to impress[/caption]
So forget H&M, Primark or Zara, as according to Pia Grace Smith, a content creator who describes herself as “your 5ft1 clothes guru”, you’ll need to get down to New Look if you want clothes that will really turn heads this season.
Posting on social media, the brunette beauty couldn’t stop gasping after doing a huge haul in New Look.
Alongside the short clip, the influencer beamed: “Sorry, have I been missing something for years??”
Stunned by the gorgeous New Look buys, Pia, who is from the UK, added: “I am shocked!!
“Wow, how many gorgeous pieces, quality is unreal and I loved it all haha SHOCK.
“I truly couldn’t believe how nice the bits I chose were.”
Pia managed to get her hands on a pair of striped trousers, which are priced at £29.99 and are available in three colours – black, green and Pia’s choice, brown.
And it’s not just Pia who loves them, as online shoppers have praised them as “comfortable, lightweight and perfect for holiday.”
As well as this, not only are they said to not crease, but others were impressed with the “nice fabric” and hailed the high-street trousers as “lovely.”
Meanwhile, Pia paired the trousers with her new button up vest, which is super affordable at only £12.99.
As well as being reasonably priced, it’s incredibly versatile – it’ll look great with shorts for a casual look, or can be dressed up with tailored trousers for a day in the office.
How New Look reinvented itself from a teen shop
by Fabulous fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend
“REMEMBER on a Saturday you’d meet up with your mates in your local town or city centre for a nosey around the shops? Well, if you were like me you’d end up in a New Look.” says Clemmie Fieldsend. “New Look was always one of those shops that when all else failed you could rely on them for whatever you needed. Your college uniform, night out or disco outfit – whatever was required you could count on New Look to meet your style needs.” Clemmie says: “I felt myself growing out of New Look and thought of it as a younger brand that wouldn’t have what I wanted but a quick scroll through their website or look through stores has proved me wrong. This summer they are serving up some on trend delights from clothing to accessories and of course their comfortable footwear. Recently they’ve lured in Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle for an exclusive Spring Edit plus fashion influencer Georgina Lennon. They’re providing quality basics, elevated stables and trend lead designs that echo the New Look we all once loved but just a bit more grown up.”
The stunning dress has been hailed by New Look bosses as “a head-turning maxi for moments in the sun.”
This black mesh dress is also said to promise a “figure-skimming silhouette with pretty florals and a low-cut back.”
I always forget about New Look but wow these all look amazing
Instagram user
It’s sure to look eye-catching when paired with sandals for an evening look, but shoppers have even described it as “beautiful” for a wedding guest dress.
One user was left beaming with the frock and claimed it “fits perfectly.”
Fashion fans beam

Fashion fans were left gushing with Pia’s New Look finds and many eagerly rushed to the comments to express this.
One person said: “OMG!!!!! I never find anything I like in New Look!!!! I literally like everything in this reel!!!!”
Hottest fashion trends of 2025
Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares the biggest trends from the high street.
The East/West Bag
Baguette bags have had a good run, after returning from the 1990s’ shoulders of Sarah Jessica Parker to modern-day fashion icons, like Hailey Bieber.
In 2025, the East/West bag is a similar but elongated shape and has long, thin straps that are easy to throw over your shoulder.
They’ve been on runway models’ arms at nearly ever designer show – think Burberry, Givenchy and Bottega Veneta – and are hitting the high street now, too.
Powder pink
Bright fuchsia pink had its day after the release of Barbie in 2023 and now the more polished and expensive-looking pale shade is taking over for 2025.
Pantone may say that it’s the year of Mocha Mousse, but the catwalks say otherwise! From Prada to Erdem, the subtle look was all over the spring/summer catwalks, worn head-to-toe or on its own.
If the sugary shade is too girly for you, then look to sharp suiting for a androgynous take on the colour.
The shell jacket
The ’80s classic is back, but with a sleek and minimal new twist for 2025.
We all know we’re likely to see rain for most of spring, so your practical coat of choice should be a cagoule jacket.
Depop revealed one of its big trend predictions for this year is retro sportswear, with surges already seen in ‘80s windbreakers’.
Seen everywhere from the stylish streets of Copenhagen to the Miu Miu catwalk, now mums who have an emergency raincoat crumpled underneath their pushchair are very much in fashion!
The turn-up jeans
While the shape of jeans remains the same for this year and barrel-legs will still be everywhere, the way we’re styling them is different.
This season, transform your wide-leg, baggy denims into turn-ups.
For this look, size doesn’t matter, so while deep turn-ups are a hit from jean trend-leaders Citizens of Humanity, a slight fold is still just as good – but only as it’s just one single fold.
Peep-toe shoe
Get your pedicures booked in sharpish, as this season your toes are the main event.
After a long hiatus, the peep-toe has been welcomed back into the fashion fold, with brands like Hermes, Miu Miu and Tory Burch showing plain and embellished footwear in this style.
From mules to pumps and clogs (yes, clogs will be around too!), there are lots of different styles that are set to sweep the high street.
Sheer blouses
See-through looks have always lived on the catwalk, but have rarely filtered into everyday life – until now.
Designers Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford loved sheer looks on their S/S ’25 catwalks and M&S even had sellout success with its black sheer pencil skirt last season.
Expect to see more sheer looks lining supermarket aisles and high street shops in the form of skirts, tops and frocks.
Another added: “Never shop in New Look but wow stunning.”
A third commented: “I always forget about New Look but wow these all look amazing.”
Meanwhile, one fashionista gasped: “You’re making me skint!!!”
Whilst someone else beamed: “They are all so beautiful on you.”

JOEY O’Brien has hailed Seán Boyd’s reaction to being left out of his starting line-up.
O’Brien made Boyd Shelbourne’s captain for their game against Galway United a fortnight ago but the striker was on the bench last Friday against Cork City.
The 27-year-old has been limited to just nine starts in the league this seasonThe Dublin native has seen an unbeaten start to his tenure as Shelbourne manager
But Boyd again had to be content with a place among the substitutes before he was summoned into action early in the second half in Drumcondra.
Within two minutes of coming on, he had gotten the better of two opponents to set up Mipo Odubeko for the only goal of the first leg at Tolka Park.
And O’Brien said: “I’m sure of it, I know he was really disappointed, it was a really hard team to pick, because everyone wants to play in this game. Like, as young players, that’s what it’s about, playing Champions League football.
“I said that before the game, not many players get that opportunity, and I had to break a few of their hearts I suppose, by not playing them.
“So I’m sure he was one of them that was really disappointed, but listen, that sums him up.
“I suppose he was a person, and the relationship that I have with him, to be able to put it aside and put the team ahead of himself, and to go out and perform the way he did. He’s a brilliant player in this league.
“I was delighted with his impact and I suppose on another night he probably would have scored another one himself.
“As I said to them before, it’s about the squad for me. We have a super squad. Sometimes lads are going to get disappointed but they all have to be ready.
“We made five subs. Next week, we’ll be making five subs again. It’s a squad game. Over the next few days, training is going to be really good because they’re all going to be wanting to play next week.
“That competition, to try to get into that team next week, will keep all the lads tuned in.”
O’Brien was also chuffed with Odubeko who scored for the third game running, having netted just five times in his previous 23 appearances.
The boss said: “He’s been brilliant the last few weeks. He’s caused serious problems to teams. I think he’s on a nice little run there with goals and all that.
“His overall play I thought was very good. It was difficult for him in the first half just with how deep they were defending.
“For that second half, he came out well and linked with Seán then going up to him. They’re up there, sometimes one, two people are looking after Seán and then it creates one-v-ones with him. I thought he was brilliant.”
SUBBED OFF?
But Odubeko admitted he thought his night might have been over when he saw Boyd limbering up.
He said: “I was thinking that, to be fair. The two up front works well. We’ve a good relationship, a great understanding of each other, both on and off the pitch. That does help. Credit to him.
“He’s sort of like a big brother figure for me. When we’re on the pitch together we work really well. I was happy to see him come on. He did the right thing and I scored. I’m happy for me but also him.”
For O’Brien, there was relief that the focus was on players before with the spotlight having been on Damien Duff’s shock departure and him stepping up to replace him.
The former Ireland, West Ham and Shamrock Rovers player, 39, said: “There’s been so much talk about this football club over the last few weeks, about myself, the manager leaving, all that sort of stuff. I wanted the focus to be on them.
“I said to them, ‘At 7.45pm, make sure you’re ready to rock, go out and do your talking out on the pitch. There’s too much noise around this football club. Let’s show everyone how good of players we are’. And I thought they did that.”
