Brit branded ‘6ft 6in bully built like a brick’ by Kian Harratt hits back at EFL star over Ibiza chair-hurling brawl

A “6’6 bully” Brit accused of sparking the Ibiza pool fight where Kian Harratt lobbed a chair into a woman has hit back and claimed the player was the key troublemaker.

Shocking footage showed the 23-year-old Oldham Athletic striker launching a plastic chair during a bust-up at the Marco Polo Hotel in San Antonio on Saturday afternoon.

It decked a middle-aged woman who was trying to break up the ruckus.

The striker broke his silence last night, admitting he feels “terrible” and “very apologetic” – but also levelled the blame at a poolside “bully”.

Kian said: “He was the worst man you could ever come across and a bully! He was 6’6 and built like a brick!”

Now, that man – Brandon Watkins, 31 – has hit back at Kian, blasting: “I’m 6ft 4 for a start and I’m not a bully.”

Brandon told MailOnline that the footballer had “provoked” his friends and the whole group were “looking for a fight”.

He claimed all had been peaceful during the five days of their stay before Kian and his gang rocked up.

The new arrivals were lobbing balls around causing trouble from the moment they arrived, Brandon claimed.

He continued: “‘They were just being a nightmare. One lad was winding us up. Kian was sat right next to him and if anything Kian was provoking him.

“Next thing I knew Kian picked up a chair and threw it.”

Brandon went on to claim that Kian appeared drunk, and that other guests congratulated his group for seeing off the disruptive bunch.

He said: “It’s just outrageous for a footballer to behave like he did.”

Two videos captured the brawl, including one which appears to show the striker – wearing black shorts and with his distinctive goatee – launching the chair.

Another Brit holidaymaker, Kyle Crawford, witnessed the bust-up and told The Sun the striker and three of his pals were “being horrible”.

Kyle didn’t recognise 23-year-old EFL star Harratt at the time of the altercation – but confirmed his identity after watching the footage back.

A second source who was caught up in the fight told The Sun: “It was Kian Harratt. He was bothering these girls.”

Kyle said Harratt and his friends were “throwing little rugby balls” at the female tourists inside the pool, one of which being the woman who was struck by a chair later on.

“They were just in the pool splashing them and throwing balls at them – being proper immature,” he explained.

Kyle claimed he and his mate stepped in to stand up for the women.

“Me and my mates stuck up for them, and then in the end, they’d come to attack my mate,” he said.

He alleged that there was an altercation, and his mate was punched first during the ruckus.

He said his pal hit back, and the whole confrontation “calmed down” for a bit.

But shortly after, the player and his pals started hurling chairs towards Kyle and his mates, with one of the women who was initially being disturbed getting caught in the crossfire.

“They start throwing chairs – they threw a chair at a woman,” he said.

And a second clip, moments after the initial throw, shows another man hurling a second chair, which knocked the other men into the pool.

The Brit tourist explained: “We just stuck up for her, the lads were just being idiots, immature.

“This video doesn’t do us justice for actually being gentlemen and looking after these women.”

He detailed that after the altercation, the men “all got kicked out”, while Kyle says he and his mates were praised by staff for standing up to them.

“All the staff around the pool said thanks and what gentlemen we were,” he said.

“The women thought they were idiots, immature and stupid.”

Dad reveals hallucinating son’s disturbing final words before he walked off 120ft cliff as boy saw ‘snowmen & Kermit’

A DAD has revealed the disturbing final words his son said to him before walking off a 120-foot cliff during a mountain hike.

Zane Wach, 14, was on his way back after summiting California’s Mount Whitney with his dad Ryan when he began saying alarming things.

Mr Ryan revealed that his son started to feel the effects of altitude sickness and started hallucinating.

He added that Zane, who now remains in a coma, said “he couldn’t tell if he was dreaming or not” and said he could see “snowmen” and “Kermit the frog”.

It all began on June 10 when the father-son duo reached the 14,505-foot peak of California‘s Mount Whitney – the tallest in the continental US.

But as they both began descending, Zane started feeling sick and began saying alarming things before walking off the cliff.

Dad Ryan told SFGate: “[Zane] started to experience some hallucinations.

“He said there was a snowman down there, and that he could see Kermit the Frog near a green lake in the distance.”

As Zane’s mental state got worse, he could not distinguish between dream and reality, the dad said.

Mr Ryan added: “I’ve never seen anything like it.

“He wasn’t making sudden movements, but it was like he was sleepwalking. I didn’t trust what he might do.

“He told me he couldn’t tell if he was dreaming.

“He’d shake his head and say, ‘This isn’t real… I don’t think this is really happening.’

“Like he was stuck in the movie Inception.”

Zane then wandered off the trail and plummeted over the side of the steep granite cliff.

And the tragic fall left Zane with a traumatic brain injury.

Mr Ryan said he could not stop his son from walking off the cliff as he was out of his reach.

He said: “It was in the direction of the ledge. He thought it was right there, like the hike was over.

“I wiped my eyes for a second, and when I looked up, he was already 10 feet away.

“I reached out – but I couldn’t get to him. And then he was gone.”

What is altitude sickness

Altitude sickness, also known as mountain sickness, is an illness that can affect individuals who travel to high elevations too quickly.

It is caused by the lower oxygen levels and reduced air pressure at high altitudes, which the body has not had time to adjust to.

The symptoms of altitude sickness can range from mild to severe and often resemble a hangover.

Common initial symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, shortness of breath, and difficulty sleeping. T

These symptoms typically appear within a day of being at a high altitude.

Doctors suspect that aside from altitude sickness, Zane was also suffering from a dangerous combination of dehydration and sleep deprivation, DailyMail reports.

Even during the summit, Zane said, claiming they had already finished the hike “multiple times” and appeared unable to distinguish dreams from reality.

Dad Ryan said: “He was aware of it, which of course worried me, but he was still able to explain what was happening,

“I thought it’ll pass.”

He revealed that his 5’9′ son was in peak physical condition before the summit – and had no history of mental health issues.

After the tragic fall, Ryan rushed to the bottom of the cliff, fearing his son may have died from the impact.

He said: “I didn’t see how there would be a way for him to survive it.  I thought he was gone.”

But the dad felt relieved when he realised his son showed signs of life.

An emergency helicopter was scrambled and Zane was rushed to the hospital, where he now remains in medical-induced coma.

Doctors say his only other injuries were a broken ankle, a fractured finger, and a fractured section of his pelvis.

Ryan said: “It is a miracle, it could have been so much worse.”

The dad launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover the cost of Zane’s medical expenses. He has so far raised $21,000.

He added: “He’s improving, but he still has a long way to go.

“This is a survival story and not a tragedy.”

Emmerdale star returning after five years – with explosive consequences

She will join Tracy in mourning for Nate despite her being under suspicion[/caption]

Actress Carryl Thomas is reprising her role as Nate Robinson’s mum Cara for her on-screen son’s funeral.

A source said: “Nate’s death has been heartbreaking for his family and with the truth hidden the Dingles and Tracy are more divided than ever.

“Cara returns to say goodbye to her son and walks straight into the middle of it all.

“She’s going to have a few choice words for her ex Cain as she tries to understand what really happened to Nate.

“Carryl jumped at the chance to reprise her role after five years to do justice to the storyline.”

Viewers know that John Sugden killed Nate last year and then dumped his body in a lake.

Now Nate’s wife Tracy has come under suspicion for the crime with the Dingles convinced her suspicious behaviour after his disappearance means she is responsible for his death.

She had opened a credit card in Nate’s name, and gave up on looking for him, as well as being the only one who interacted with the removal men who took his belongings away.

Meanwhile she is convinced Cain killed Nate after brutally beating him the day before he disappeared.

However The Sun can also reveal that the pair will soon realise they are both wrong and join forces to hunt down the real killer.

But will they discover the truth about John Sugden? Or is there another twist on the horizon?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV.

Leicester finally announce Ruud van Nistelrooy is LEAVING 34 days after season ended with cult boss favourite for job

LEICESTER CITY have finally announced Ruud van Nistelrooy is LEAVING the club 34 days after the end of the season.

The Dutch manager oversaw the Foxes’ relegation from the Premier League after replacing Steve Cooper in December.

The Foxes were relegated back to the Championship after just one season[/caption]

Van Nistelrooy, 48, has been expected to leave the King Power Stadium after the club’s relegation was confirmed.

The Sun exclusively revealed that the delay was due to Leicester wanting to wait for the next football “accounting” period.

His exit was confirmed by the club, which stated they had “mutually agreed” to terminate his contract.

Van Nistelrooy said: “I would like to personally thank the Leicester City players, coaches, academy and all the staff I have worked with for their professionalism and dedication during my time at the club and to thank the fans for their support, and take this opportunity to wish the club well for the future.”

Nistelrooy’s time in charge in the East Midlands was less than inspiring as the team returned to the second tier with a whimper.

He only managed four wins in 25 Premier League games and racked up 18 defeats.

The club even lost 15 league games between December 14 and April 12, with only one win to add some cheer, which came against Tottenham on January 26.

As a result, the club finished the season in 18th place – 13 points adrift from 17th-placed Spurs.

Sean Dyche is the favourite to take up the hot seat at the King Power Stadium.

The English manager has been out of work since he was sacked by Everton in January.

Ruud's shocking record

Here is a look at Ruud van Nistelrooy's record at Leicester City...

Matches – 27

Wins – 5

Draws – 3

Losses – 19

Goals scored – 24

Goals conceded – 57

The former Burnley man was in charge of the Toffees for less than two years before David Moyes replaced him.

Dyche will not have far to travel as he currently lives up the M1 in Nottingham.

Meanwhile, Leicester are still anxiously waiting on the points penalty they will pick up for past financial offences.

This could see the club start the new season on negative points if they are docked any.

If appointed, Dyche could also have to manage with a restricted budget – something he is accustomed to at his previous clubs.

Leicester had previously been linked with former Southampton manager Russell Martin but he has since taken the Rangers job.

I’m a UC mum & used to get £4.3k a month – I called anyone who worked ‘dumb’ but now I’m about to lose everything

A MUM who once branded anyone who worked ”dumb” has revealed she’s about to lose her Universal Credit payments.

Ebony Wood, 26, used to be living off a hefty UC payment, which saw her allegedly receive an astronomical £4.3k every month.

At the time, the young woman insisted that those who spent long hours working to earn money were ”dumb”.

Clapping back to taxpayers, Ebony filmed herself cleaning her filthy kitchen sink and said: “I might be a single mum on Universal Credit, but at least I’m not dumb.”

Universal Credit is a payment to help with your living costs.

According to the Gov website, it’s paid monthly – or twice a month for some people in Scotland

Brits may be entitled to it if they’re on a low income, out of work or you cannot work.

“You lot literally have to work 40 hours a week to get half of what I get – I literally get given £4,000 a month from the government.”

She also added: “If it wasn’t for you lot working full time and paying taxes, I would not even have these grey Tommy Hilfiger leggings.”

However, the single mother – who previously begged strangers to fund her boob job – recently claimed that TikTok trolls have ”mass reported” her to Jobcentre – an organisation that helps people find and maintain employment.

”They’re taking away all my money and I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she cried in a video posted on her page.

According to the young woman, her expenses are so high that even being employed wouldn’t be enough to cover them.

”Even if I went and got a job, I’m still not going to be able to pay my bills,” said the TikToker who lives in a council house.

Furious, she went on to slam those who allegedly were behind her shock UC cut.

”400 of you reported me and I hope you’re happy because you’ve taken everything – literally everything away from me over some stupid videos.”

Am I entitled to Universal Credit?

According to the GOV website, if you’re on a low income or need help with your living costs, then you could be entitled to Universal Credit.

To claim, you must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over (with some exceptions if you’re 15 to 17), be under State Pension age, and have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.

Other circumstances are if you are out of work, or unable to work, for example because of a health condition.

Since allegedly losing her hefty UC check, the 26-year-old has claimed to have found a job at a takeaway.

”Thousands of people that laughed at me crying telling me to go and get a job and that, you’re gonna love what I’m gonna say.

”Bossman has given me a delivery job at a kebab shop,” said Ebony who was ”very excited” after not being in employment in seven years.

‘I’m glad you have been sanctioned’

Ebony’s emotional video has since taken the internet by storm, winning the single mum more than 870k views and over 4,200 likes.

Close to a whopping 7,000 people flooded to comments, where many dubbed the 26-year-old ”lazy”.

One said: ”You haven’t lost your income, you’ve lost your benefits! There’s a difference.”

Another critic thought: ”judging by your videos gloating about what you get from universal credit and admitting that you play the system i’m glad you have been sanctioned.

”People like you should be on the bare minimum.”

”WELL DONE job centre! Finally she got what she deserved. You were bragging about making 4K a month form the universal credit, now karma is coming for you. Get a second job, sell your car, emigrate to another country,” a viewer chimed in.

Why you never want to see SSSS on your boarding pass before a flight

ONE traveller has revealed a code on boarding passes that you will want to avoid at all costs.

Chloe Jade Meltzer, 30, has shared that some boarding passes have an ‘SSSS’ code on that actually mean you have been selected for additional security checks.

Travel blogger Chloe shared how the ‘SSSS’ stamp on a boarding pass means you will get extra checks[/caption]

Chloe has been travelling the world since 2015, racking up a total of 162 countries visited.

Out of the hundreds of times she has travelled, she is lucky enough to only have had ‘SSSS’ on her boarding pass six times.

The four letters stand for ‘secondary security screening selection’ and mean that a passenger has been flagged for an additional security check by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) before boarding their flight.

In practice, this means that the selected passenger will have to have more pat-downs, hand swabs and thorough luggage checks before boarding their flight.

Chloe said one of the most common signs a traveller will have ‘SSSS’ appear on their boarding pass, is if they don’t get it handed to them immediately.

The New York-based travel blogger said: “I have gotten ‘SSSS’ on my boarding pass periodically over the years.

“When I get one, I will just try get the checks out of the way and head straight to the boarding gate to be screened again by airline staff.

“Usually, how long it takes depends on how fast you get to the boarding gate, how your bags are packed and how fast they are at searching.”

She added that if you are one of the unfortunate ones who gets flagged, then you will be pulled aside at the gate before you board your flight.

You will then most likely be given a pat down or a detailed search of your luggage.

Some passengers might even be tested for explosives.

Chloe added: “You also might be asked a few extra question like where you’re going and how long you’re staying there.

“It can feel very targeted but usually this will be going on for a few other people as well or sometimes half the plane.

“I personally don’t like this because it takes longer, you can’t do this before boarding, they do it exactly at boarding.”

There are many reasons why a traveller may get the code on their boarding pass, but Chloe shared that one reason is because of the countries you may have travelled to.

Some countries are flagged and indicate potential issues or alerts, for example, if you only purchased a one-way ticket.

The blogger added that it is important to not panic when you get the code on your boarding pass though, as it is issued randomly.

Some countries you many have travelled to, get flagged and indicate potential issues or alerts[/caption]

“They say it is randomly selected, sometimes it’s because you have travelled to certain countries that are flagged, or because you bought a one-way ticket,” she shared.

“Sometimes you might be on a watch list because you name is similar to one that they have flagged, or you have two different passports, you have passport irregularities.

“If you get the dreaded ‘SSSS’ don’t worry, it doesn’t mean you’re in trouble because it is random.

“Just deal with it, be ready to board early and get it done.”

There is also a major change for travellers as boarding passes and check-in to be scrapped in new airport rules.

Plus, the little-known discounts your boarding pass can get you on holiday which save you hundreds of pounds.
