The world No19 was struck down by a virus she’d been battling for days.
Hull first showed signs of distress early in her round, sitting down in a bunker on the third hole looking unwell.
Just moments later, she collapsed near the fourth tee.
Despite a 15-minute medical delay, the Kettering-born golfer bravely tried to carry on, even managing to get to one under through 12 holes.
But after hitting her tee shot on the 13th, she collapsed agai, bringing her round and her tournament to an early and heartbreaking end.
Clearly gutted to pull out, Hull was overheard saying: “I was playing pretty well but I feel faint.”
She also noted she had trouble with her eyesight.

THE PREM fixture list has been plunged into chaos, less than 48 hours after the August match dates were confirmed.

REXNottingham Forest are set to replace Palace in the Europa League[/caption]
With Forest initially due to play their Conference League qualifying round first leg on Thursday August 21, their weekend game – ironically at Selhurst Park – had already been put back to Sunday, August 24.
But the impact of Uefa’s decision will be felt the next weekend.
Prem bosses announced on Wednesday that Palace’s game at Aston Villa would be played on Friday, August 29, with an 8pm kick-off.
With Palace – unless their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport is successful – now playing the second leg of their qualifying round 24 hours, the visit to Vila Park will now have to be moved once again, to the Sunday afternoon.
With the September international break following the weekend action, there is no option to move any Prem matches to the Monday evening.
But League bosses may now want to switch Forest’s home match with West Ham, which had been provisionally moved to the Sunday afternoon, back to the initially-scheduled Saturday 3pm slot or to fill the Friday night hole.
Palace have yet to comment on their demotion to the Conference League.
But they’re expected to submit an imminent appeal of Uefa’s decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

An excerpt of a Uefa statement read: “The present decision may be appealed against before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in accordance with Articles 62 and 63 of the UEFA Statutes.”
Former shareholder John Textor went to extreme measures to try to keep Palace in the Europa League, selling his £190million stake in the club.
But his firesale proved to be too little too late as Uefa have well and truly brought the hammer down on The Eagles.

A MAN accused of murdering his ex-fiancee wrote “I miss you so much, I’m heartbroken” in a chilling Facebook tribute.
James Cartwright, 61, is on trial for the rape and murder of Samantha Mickleburgh.
James Cartwright, 61, is on trial for the rape and murder of Samantha MickleburghSurrey PoliceSamantha Mickleburgh celebrated his birthday with her ex[/caption]
Samantha was found dead at the Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey, on the morning of April 14 last year
She arranged to celebrate his 60th birthday with him at a luxury hotel so he wouldn’t be lonely, a court heard.
But she was found dead at the Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey, on the morning of April 14 last year.
The kind 54-year-old mum, from Axminster in Devon, stayed in a twin room with her ex because she “didn’t want him to feel lonely”, a jury heard on Tuesday.
Cartwright is standing trial at Guildford Crown Court and denies raping and murdering her.
He also denies one count of controlling and coercive behaviour between May 1 2022 and April 14 2024.
During the trial on Friday, prosecutor Louise Oakley read out a Facebook post written by Cartwright on April 15 2024.
It said: “I am so heartbroken and devastated at the very sudden and unexpected loss of my gorgeous, kind, caring, and loving partner Samantha during the night of my birthday at Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey, after such a wonderful and happy evening.”
He said “I simply do not have the words” and referred to how his “extreme grief” was shared by her close family members.
Cartwright wrote about how family, friends and colleagues, past and present, would all be “as shocked and sad as I am at her sudden passing”.
He wrote: “I miss you so much sweetheart and have no idea how I’m going to live without you. You have left such an enormous hole in all our lives.
“Rest in peace my darling. I love you so very much and always will.”
Earlier this week jurors were told that Cartwright called 999 at about 8.30am on April 14 claiming he had discovered the lifeless body of Samantha lying next to him in bed.
“That was a lie,” Ms Oakley said. “He had most likely killed her in the early hours of April 14 2024 with his own bare hands applying manual pressure around her neck, extinguishing her life.”
She added: “There were only two people in this room – and she couldn’t have and didn’t strangle herself.”
The court heard the relationship between Cartwright and Samantha, which began in thesummerof 2022, was “somewhat of a whirlwind” and that they got engaged in September 2023.
Samantha ended her relationship with Cartwright in February 2024.
Following their break-up, Cartwright had continued to pursue the mum, attending her address unexpectedly and uninvited, and “bombarding her” with messages and calls, Ms Oakley said.
“He had started to lose control of his relationship with Samantha because of his own controlling and coercive ways,” she added.
“She didn’t wish him any ill, but she no longer wanted to live with him and no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him,” Ms Oakley said.
“But part of her also felt bad for him, believing that he had no one else to spend that day with.
“As a result, she had arranged a celebratory meal and stay at Penny Hill Park and Spa, and in a final act of selflessness, she honoured that commitment despite telling friends and family that the relationship was over.”
The former couple headed out for a six course tasting menu at the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant The Latymer on the evening of April 13, jurors were told.
During the meal, staff observed that Samantha appeared unwell and that she “looked more and more sleepy and at points her eyes were closed and she looked like she was sleeping,” prosecution said.
They paid their bill and left the restaurant at around 10.30pm, while CCTV footage snapped the two walking back to their room a few minutes after.
“This is the last time Samantha Mickleburgh was seen alive,” Ms Oakley told the court.
Cartwright was arrested by police on April 19 last year and interviewed by officers.
The accused told cops that his ex-fiance “perked up” after they left the restaurant.
He then claimed the two had consensual sex before “falling asleep in each other’s arms,” prosecution said.
Ms Oakley said: “She had intended at some point to tell him that this was the last time they would see each other.
“Is this what caused James Cartwright’s explosion of violence?”
The trial continues.

A SEX scandal has rocked the Kremlin as a top Putin official has been revealed using $100million military planes to transport his mistress around Russia.
Maria Shalaeva, 23, shared online she was being flown on a defence ministry Ilyushin-76 aircraft for a weekend getaway to Rostov-on-Don – the same location of Russian armed forces war headquarters.

East2WestShalaeva says her lover is a ‘Kremlin man’[/caption]
One independent media outlet has dragged in the name of Putin’s trusted defence minister Andrei Belousov, 66, as the suspected lover.
He is said to be a known womaniser from earlier email leaks, and his photograph appears on a video she posted.
It is also clear from one video her lover has grey hair, as does Belousov, who was a Kremlin apparatchik before becoming defence minister.
Yet there are strong indications that her man – apparently seen in shorts from behind on the plane – could be younger.
Whether the affair is Belousov or another senior official figure in the Russian power structure, the disclosure triggered fury over what is seen as a security breach.
As the scandal unfolded today, military sources indicated that the Kremlin “sugar daddy” had been visited at work by the secret services after the mistress’s revelations.
Shalaeva, from Yekaterinburg, boasted in now-deleted posts – that she was flying to Rostov-on-Don, a city she had visited before with her lover.
The 23-year-old went on to reveal her beloved booked her a manicure appointment in the city.

She posted: “Who’s saying planes don’t fly to Rostov?
“They do – just not all of them, and not for everyone. Anyway, I flew back to Rostov again. Can’t seem to let it go.”
She said her lover is “a Kremlin man, though, that’s another story. Reliability level is 200%.”
She admits to bringing her three-year-old son Tim on the trip, leading to speculation he is her lover’s offspring.
“At three years old, he’s already flown in a military aircraft,” she posted.
“Tim got to sit right in the cockpit and even grabbed some crisps from the pilot.
“We were greeted warmly. Timmy was chilling, watching cartoons the whole ride.”
Shalaeva says her lover calls her “yebobo [crazy]” and sometimes asks if she’s ever had a concussion.
She insisted he was “not military!! Not FSB either! Now, I know who he is, but I’m not allowed to say.”
Belousov, an economist and civilian technocrat, is not a career soldier and holds no formal military rank – but his authority rivals that of Russia’s top generals.
In Rostov, Shalaeva, her son, and her mystery man were reportedly picked up by a “very expensive foreign car,” rumoured to be a Maybach.
Nexta independent media – a respected outlet originally from Belarus and now Warsaw-based – linked her to Belousov, but without giving any verification.
“In private posts, Shalaeva hints that it’s Belousov himself, the new defence minister of the Russian Federation [who is her lover],” stated Nexta.
“The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation flies his mistress on a military plane.”
It was local media in Rostov that first flagged the scandal, without naming names.
Russian outlets have so far avoided identifying the man.
Retire Major General Vladimir Popov didn’t mince words: “Everyone will be found and punished.”
He made it clear Belousov bears ultimate responsibility for the military flight.
“If this reaches the defence minister, I expect he’ll come down hard for such poor oversight. And from there, the punishment will trickle down.”

Pro-Kremlin military blogger Andrey Medvedev added: “It seems the Military Counterintelligence Department has plenty to do.”
“I can imagine how much information the SBU [Ukrainian security service] and Western intelligence agencies get just from monitoring social networks,” he wrote.
“In a photo posted by this reckless girl, you can find all sorts of interesting details to understand which planes fly to Rostov, who arranged those rides for her. And so on.”
Telegram channels with links to the Russian security forces reported Starovoit’s cause of death as suicide – claiming the minister was found dead with gunshot wounds.
However, an independent Russian media outlet now reports that he had been beaten before his death.
News outlet SOTA claims that signs of torture were visible on his body.

A SAVVY woman has shared how she transformed an old, dusty caravan into a luxe modern home on wheels.
Lucy Benham, from the UK, shared the transformation on social media and it left people open-mouthed.
Lucy bought the caravan for £800tiktok@beautybake5/tiktok@beautybake5/She transformed it with a £300 budget and people loved the new look[/caption]
The mum said: “So I bought this caravan for £800 and I renovated it for about £300.”
The caravan was finally finished (minus the bathroom) and Lucy said she completed the renovations in just one week.
“I have put blood, sweat, and tears into this. Honestly I absolutely love how this turned out,” she said.
In the before pictures, the caravan looked like it hadn’t been used in years, the white furnishings had turned yellow and the soft furnishings looked like they had come from the 70s.
Lucy ripped out the flooring and soft furnishings before she started painting.
To brighten the space, Lucy used a gorgeous beige paint and touched up the ceiling with white paint, she bought both from Amazon.
Once the walls were done, Lucy got her friend to help with installing the floors which she picked up from The Range.
For the sofas, she got rid of the old cushions and switched them for large white ones for a cleaner and more luxurious look.
In the seating area, she put up an adorable sign that read ‘Home is where you park it.’
“This really does feel like a home from home and I cannot wait to make memories with my kids in this,” Lucy added.
The DIY whizz also said she and her mum made their own curtains from scratch by using dust sheets.
Now, Lucy was just excited to get her kids and take a holiday in the caravan.
The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @beautybake5 with over 260k views and 16k likes.
People were quick to take to the comments in awe over her hard work and the results.
One person wrote: “I’m seeing so many of these renovation videos and I’m desperate to do one!”
Another commented: “I actually gasped. It’s wonderful! I hope whatever you’ve been going through has resolved and that you’re ok.”

SUNBURNT music lovers high on drugs stagger out of the beachfront venue gnawing on bars of soap nicked from loos en route to the snaking taxi queue, which usually descends into a mass brawl.
Meanwhile inebriated men and women brazenly relieve themselves in the doorways of multi-million pound homes.

BNPSSophia Horwood says many locals dread the event[/caption]
This is SandFest, held in the ultra exclusive beach resort of Sandbanks in Dorset, home to the likes of Harry and Jamie Redknapp, where the streets are lined with mega mansions worth up to £30million.
Gated driveways boast gleaming Porches, Range Rovers and Bentleys, while superyachts bob on the glistening blue sea.
It is famously one of the most expensive and prestigious places to live in Britain, but this weekend frustrated residents say their genteel neighbourhood resembles Magaluf, the notorious Spanish party resort known for its cheap package holidays and shocking drunken chaos.
More than 10,000 people are due to descend for a series of rowdy events – first a polo party called SandPolo, followed by SandFest, a music concert described as a “boutique beach festival” where headline acts have included Idris Elba, Rudimental and Tinie Tempah.
This Sunday house DJ Sonny Fodera tops the bill, alongside Katy B, Danny Howard and Saffron Stone, along with DJ sets from Elderbrook and Alex Mills.
Jennifer Krzyzanowska, 25, runs Shacks By The Shore, a popular snack bar doing a brisk trade on the edge of the sandy beach, but her team are already preparing for the worst.
“It’s always horrendous,” she told The Sun when we visited this week. “People are so out of it, I’ve seen guys coming out of there eating bars of blue soap.
“Every year when the venue empties, big fights break out because the taxi queue is so long, and people dive into the sea to cool off.
“There’s all kinds going on in the water – they’re having sex in there and using it as a toilet.
“The whole thing is a health hazard, but no-one is thinking about their health when they’ve been drinking in the baking hot sun all day.
“Another problem on a warm weekend is the beach will be absolutely rammed because the site takes up so much space.
“I know some local businesses have to bring in extra security.”
Jennifer’s colleague Sophia Harwood, 20, added: “It’s basically just a massive all-day drinking session, it gets ugly. A lot of people don’t like it.”
The tiny town is often referred to as Britain’s answer to Monte Carlo – with property prices soaring three times higher than the national average.
But many locals feel shut out of the events, where VIP tickets go for £1,200.
Heavily intoxicated people are falling into hedges, and it can take over an hour to get out of the house.

Charlyn Dean, 41, has a stunning four bedroom property in a prime location which rents out at £10,000 a week during the peak summer months.
But leading us through to her immaculate back garden, she points to her blighted view.
“As you can see, our garden is right behind the main stage and it gets unbelievably loud,” she said.
“The whole place is packed out, heavily intoxicated people are falling into hedges, and it can take over an hour to get out of the house.

BNPSLocals say the event attracts people looking for trouble[/caption]
Equally frustrated by the chaos are retired couple Margaret and Bill Sharp, both 80.
They are the proud owners of a charming beachfront apartment with sweeping views of Poole Harbour and the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast, but have resorted to extreme measures to protect their home this year.
They have invested in their own bright yellow police cones to cordon off their driveway.
Margaret explained: “If we don’t put the cones out people use our driveway for a party – they hang around drinking and dancing on their way out of the festival.
“They double park and it doesn’t feel safe for us – there is no way an ambulance or fire engine could get down here if there was an emergency. It’s dangerous.”
When we visited Sandbanks a vast swathe of the beach was cordoned off by high metal fences in preparation for the three days of festivities, squashing frustrated holiday makers closer together in the remaining space.
Meanwhile the rows of highly-prized beach huts on the idyllic peninsula have their coveted sea views obliterated for two weeks by enormous marquees and rows of portaloos, which locals say can cause quite the stench.
It’s so depressing. When the festival is on we’re just resigned to not going out, because if we do we can’t get home again
Chris Weedon
Another issue is traffic. With only one narrow road leading on to the luxury peninsula from nearby Poole, the festivals create tailbacks for miles, and the only car park is rammed by 8am.
With traffic at a standstill, ticket holders have been known to simply abandon their cars across residents’ driveways and even in the middle of the roundabout.
Kite surfer Chris Weedon, who lives with his wife Angela in a towering four storey house overlooking the beach, said of the event: “It’s so depressing.
“When the festival is on we’re just resigned to not going out, because if we do we can’t get home again.
“Late at night when the road is clear they roar down here on motorbikes, doing wheelies at 60mph. Someone is going to die.”
He added: “The litter is just dire, people dump their bottles and cans and I usually spend an hour in the morning filling three sacks of rubbish from outside my house.”

Local resident Dave Watts, 55, told us: “The parking is total chaos.
“There’s only one car park here but it’s completely full by seven or eight in the morning when there’s an event on, which means locals can’t just come and enjoy the beach on one of the nicest weekends of the year.”
He said anti-social behaviour is also rife, adding: “I’ve caught women squatting in my doorway – it’s not just the men who feel they can urinate wherever they please.”
In previous years it was reported that some horrified parents felt forced to leave the beach after a DJ unleashed a torrent of foul language.
Families were bombarded with swear words from the rowdy festival as they tried to enjoy a peaceful afternoon on the sand.
Mum-of-two Katie Fowler, 39, told us: “It gets rowdy. We certainly won’t be coming down here with the kids.
“Because the event takes up a big chunk of the beach, everyone else gets squeezed together.”

SandfestThe festival site takes up a huge chunk of the beach[/caption]
Peter and Nina Martin, both 72, spend £3,000 a year renting a picture-perfect blue and white beach hut at Sandbanks, and usually visit every day throughout the summer.
But Peter sighed: “We won’t come near the place when these events are happening, we can’t.
“These kids behave like they’re in Magaluf or somewhere like that.
“There’s too much fighting going on, and they pitch tents to sleep on the beach after the festival, even though camping is not allowed, and just dump their tents in the morning.
“It’s annoying. This is a beautiful sandy beach and some days it can feel like the Caribbean here, but right now it looks like an ugly industrial estate.
“We’ve paid a lot of money for a sea view but all you can see from here is fences, tents and toilets.”
Christine Jeandren, 62, is also furious that her sea view is entirely obliterated for two whole weeks while organisers prepare for and dismantle the events.
She explained: “The whole thing is ridiculous and locals don’t want it, it’s hell.
“All I can see is portaloos and there is no getting away from the smell of those toilets in this heat.
We won’t come near the place when these events are happening, we can’t. These kids behave like they’re in Magaluf or somewhere like that
Peter Martin
“There are masses of youngsters everywhere and their behaviour is awful. I’ve caught teenagers smoking weed in the bushes, that stinks too.
“If I want to go in the sea we have to walk all the way around the fenced-off area, and you can hear the music blaring half an hour away.
“Sandbanks is just not set up for events this big. I don’t understand why they don’t move it further away to Bournemouth.
“We’ve been trying to get rid of it for 18 years.
“It usually takes us 15 minutes to get here on the bus from Poole but when this event is on it can take a couple of hours, the whole thing is gridlocked.
