MARRIED At First Sight UK’s Erica Roberts has opened up about moments from the reunion special that didn’t make it to screen.
In the special one-off episode, which aired on Monday night, Erica appeared at a dinner with a host of other brides and grooms from the E4 favourite.

Channel 4Kieran confessed to kissing Erica, but hadn’t told his ex, Kristina yet[/caption]
During the evening, she announced to the group that she had ‘kissed and had a sleepover’ with 2024 groom Kieran Chapman when he had visited her in Edinburgh five months after the end of his relationship.
His bride Kristina Goodsell, was seen getting upset as the moment played out, with Kieran noting he “hadn’t told her yet”.
However Erica insists we don’t know the full story and that things weren’t as they seemed.
Writing on Instagram as the special aired, she wrote: “Haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet as I’m busy but just to clarify, Kristina already knew and had been told off camera what had happened which is why I brought it up at the dinner table.
“I wouldn’t have ever mentioned it or ‘blindsided’ her in front of everyone if she didn’t already know what was going to be said.
“Please remember this is a TV SHOW for your entertainment and it’s literally not that deep. All love good night xxx”
In a trailer for the new episode of her podcast You and Me, which she hosts with The Traitors star Meryl Williams, Erica later cleared things up further saying she that Kieran had pulled Kristina aside and told her off-camera while filming.
“He was avoiding, completely avoiding the situation,” Erica said. “It then got to the point where we were now in the dinner party, and we were halfway through the dinner party, and again we stopped [filming].”
“He’d probably been in that mixer from like 12 o’clock in the afternoon. How long time is it? Was now like six o’clock at night.”
“I was just getting a bit like, ‘Look, it’s going to… someone’s going to say something, or someone’s going to tell her, and it’s just not going to be right coming from someone else again, it just it needs to come from him.”
“We stopped for a quick break halfway for the dinner party, what does Kieran do? All cameras are off, he goes around to Kristina and says, ‘By the way, just to let you know, me and Erica did have a kiss. It was like two months ago, but I just want to, I just want to tell you off camera.”
“I was like, ‘Are you f**king for real? Because her reaction in that moment was, Well, why didn’t you tell me this two months ago?” she continued. “Again, he doesn’t need to tell her s**t, because they’ve been broken up for months.”
“It’s actually not that deep,” Erica added. “It’s not that deep. I’ve not ran off with her man and married him, like we literally had a one kiss. Like, it’s not that deep.
“You would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, in the real world be like, by the way, I kissed your ex husband.”

A MYSTERY disease has killed over 50 people and left hundreds sick in northwestern Congo, according to doctors on the ground.
The time from symptom onset to death is just 48 hours in most cases, “which is really worrying,” said Serge Ngalebato, medical director of Bikoro Hospital.
AP
The latest disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo began on January 21, and 419 cases have been recorded including 53 deaths, according to the World Health Organisation WHO.
According to the Africa office, the first outbreak in the town of Boloko began after three children ate a bat and died within 48 hours following hemorrhagic fever symptoms.
There have long been concerns about diseases jumping from animals to humans in places where wild animals are popularly eaten.
The number of such outbreaks in Africa has surged by more than 60 per cent in the last decade, the WHO said in 2022.
After the second outbreak of the current mystery disease began in the town of Bomate on Febuary 9, samples from 13 cases have been sent to the National Institute for Biomedical Research in Congo’s capital, Kinshasa, for testing, the WHO said.
All samples have been negative for Ebola or other common hemorrhagic fever diseases like Marburg.
Some tested positive for malaria.
Last year, another mystery flu-like illness that killed dozens of people in another part of Congo was determined to be likely malaria.
Symptoms of malaria
Malaria is a serious infection spread by mosquitoes.
spread by mosquitoes.
If it’s not diagnosed and treated quickly, you can die from it.
Malaria is caused by being bitten by an infected mosquito and it can take just one bite to get it.
It can be hard to spot, but symptoms include:
A high temperature, sweats and chills
Headaches and feeling confused
Feeling very tired and sleepy (especially in children)
Feeling and being sick, tummy pain and diarrhoea
Loss of appetite
Muscle pains
Yellow skin or whites of the eyes
A sore throat, cough and difficulty breathing
These symptoms usually appear between seven and 18 days after you’ve been bitten by an infected mosquito.
But sometimes you may not have symptoms for months after travel, and rarely years.
Ask for an urgent GP appointment or call NHS 111 if you have travelled to a country where malaria is found and have malaria symptoms.
The infection is very common in certain parts of the world, including:
Large areas of Africa and Asia
Central and South America
Dominican Republic and Haiti
parts of the Middle East
Some Pacific islands
Malaria is not found in the UK and you can’t catch it from another person.

MAFS UK bitter rivals Holly Ditchfield and Hannah Norburn ended their huge feud in last night’s reunion – leaving shocked fans asking, ‘Who held her at gunpoint?’
The surprise reconciliation came after months of tension, which first erupted during a girls’ night out in the series.
E4MAFS UK rivals Holly Ditchfield and Hannah Norburn ended their huge feud in last night’s reunion[/caption]
Holly, 29, was accused of bullying Hannah, 33, after making cutting remarks including, “Look what the cats dragged in” when Hannah arrived.
The atmosphere soured further as Holly and others accused Hannah of inappropriate behavior with other grooms, particularly her own Alex Henry, 28.
Hannah quickly became one of the most controversial figures of the season, with viewers calling her out for flirtatious interactions with multiple grooms despite being paired with Luke Debono, 30.
At last night’s reunion, tensions seemed to thaw as Holly unexpectedly apologised to Hannah.
Holly broke down in tears as she said: “I have through some treacherous s**t in my life, Hannah.
“It’s not even a personal thing, but you did relate to a lot of my insecurities where a woman came in and took away my relationship.
“I hate that I ever made you feel singled out, I’m so sorry for making you feel so vulnerable and hurt as a person to sit in a room and have to feel like you are being targeted.
“That is horrible, that is mean girl behavior and I am so sorry. I genuinely am, from the bottom of my heart.
“That behaviour is not okay. I need to set an an amazing impression to my daughter growing up.”
“At the end of the day, as long as you’re polite to me and I’m polite you, that’s all that matters.”
Hannah replied: “I appreciate that. I think if you came to me and said ‘Listen, you being pally with Alex is bringing up insecurities as a woman, we could have had a very different experience.
“I get it. I think, let’s draw a line in the sand, let’s move on. I respect the conversation, I respect the apology and I will own my bit and move forward. I can’t see us ever being besties and braiding each other’s hair.”
Holly joked: “I don’t but we can share a Prosecco on a night out sometime.”
But while Hannah accepted the apology, some fans weren’t convinced it was genuine.
Social media erupted with skepticism, with one viewer tweeting, “F*****g hell, who held Holly at gunpoint to apologise?”
Another said: “Hmmmm…..not sure how long nice girl Holly is going to stay around for.”
Others, however, were more optimistic, with a third writing: “Glad Holly apologised! Think it was very good of her!“
Someone else agreed: “Good on Holly for owning that and apologising. Whew love that growth for her.“
They both appear on tonight’s reunion special together.
A source told us: “They’ve been secretly sneaking out on dates for a while and wanted to keep things under wraps but it all came out at the reunion filming.
“Nothing stays secret in the world of MAFS because everyone knows everyone.”
Paul appeared on the 2023 version of the show, getting married to bride Tasha Jay.
The couple remained together after the show aired, but shocked fans when they announced they split after a year together in November 2024.
Tasha posted a statement online that read: “It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing Paul and I have decided to part ways.
“There isn’t any major reason, we have just come to terms with the fact that we are not right for each other.
“Paul is the loveliest guy I’ve ever met and I’m grateful for the time we’ve shared together and I’m glad that we can remain friends.
“I’m utterly heartbroken that I’m having to write this post, but it is best for both of us.’
“Thank you to everyone who has supported us as a couple. I hope you can now support us on our individual journeys.”
In comparison, Hannah had a disastrous time on MAFS, joining the show as a late bride and tying the knot with Stephen Nolson.
But despite initially seeming like a good fit, the pair’s relationship dissolved quickly – and it was only made worse when the girls of the group didn’t get along with her.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”

MATT Goss made an Outlandish offer to Sam Heughan – after the Scots movie star revealed his childhood dream was to be in his band Bros.
Sam, who plays Jacobite warrior Jamie Fraser in the fantasy drama Outlander, confessed on an American chat show how he had modelled himself on the 80s pop idols while growing up in the Borders.

Sam tells Late Late Show host James Corden and Emily Blunt about his Bros dream in 2020
The 44-year-old actor told host James Corden in 2020: “When I was a teenager I was really into Bros — Matt and Luke Goss — I wanted to be one of them.”
And Matt immediately tweeted Sam an offer to join his band after being stunned by his telly confession.
He says: “I was still doing my Las Vegas residency when I watched Sam being interviewed by James Corden and all of a sudden a picture of me and Luke flashes up.
“I think I tweeted that we had a place for him in the band if he wanted it. I can’t remember if he replied or liked it, but it was really nice to hear him mention us.”
He adds: “What I think made Bros different from the later boybands was that lads liked us too and wanted to dress like us.
“These same guys always had a swagger and they’ve gone on to do well in business or acting like Sam. So it’s a great honour to know we had that effect on people.”
Bros — which had originally included bass player Craig Logan from Kirkcaldy, Fife — shot to fame in 1987 with their breakthrough hits When Will I Be Famous?, Drop The Boy and No1 I Owe You Nothing.
Logan left the group the following year, with the brothers continuing as a duo until 1992.
Matt then went on to carve out a solo career with a residency in Vegas while Luke relaunched himself as a film actor, landing roles in flicks including Hellboy II.
But they were back in the limelight in 2018 for their BBC4 Bafta-winning show Bros: When the Screaming Stops, which was compared by critics to the classic mockumentary Spinal Tap.
They earned cult status for hilarious one liners including this one from Matt: “I made a conscious decision, because of Stevie Wonder, not to be superstitious.”
But now Matt will bring his new show The Hits & More to Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre in March as part of a UK-wide tour.
And while the screaming may have stopped, Matt insists the rock and roll parties are still as wild as ever.
GettyActor Sam would love to get on the mic withhis favourite band[/caption]
GettyMatt on stage at London’s O2 Brixton Academy in 2019[/caption]
He explains: “The last time I played Scotland was in Edinburgh and I ended up incorporating The Proclaimers’ I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) into I Owe You Nothing. The place went bonkers.
“But every time I play Scotland all I hear is ‘One more, one more’ in the pub afterwards.
“How the f**k do Scottish people manage to make it seem like it’s a really good idea at the time I don’t know.
“But they always have this knack of keeping me up until four in the morning. You’ve just got to surrender and go with the flow.
SCOT STONE SONG HOPE
MATT is looking for a Scots female artist to sing a track he wrote with Hollywood legend Sharon Stone.
The Basic Instinct actress penned the song Rain with the ex-Bros singer at his pad in Las Vegas.
But he says they are still on the hunt for the right singer to perform their track.
He says: “Sharon and I met in Las Vegas and we ended up in my house writing this really beautiful song. We’re both so proud of it.
“It’s called Rain and it’s written for a female artist. I think the fact it’s called Rain it may be of interest to a Scottish artist, if any of them would like to record it?”
Sharon, 66, shot to fame in 1990 sci-fi movie Total Recall as the killer wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character.
But she will always be best remembered for playing murder suspect Catherine Tramell in the 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct.
Matt adds: “It was great working with Sharon, she’s so cool. She has had an amazing career and is so incredibly talented.
“She’s really deep into philanthropic work now, but we’re still very keen to find the right singer for our song.”
“But they do seem to be able to turn every night out into an epic.”
Matt, who was raised in Lewisham, London, has since returned to live in the UK after an 11-year residency in Las Vegas, where he earned regular celebrity fans along with a strong “Scottish contingent”.
He says: “Jason Statham came three times with his dad to the show.
“Then next to my showroom, which was called the Gossy Room at Caesars Palace, Robert De Niro built his Nobu restaurant.
“I got to meet Robert, and had a little chat. He’s very quiet and very humble, but also was very kind to me.”
He adds: “But I had a well-established residency in Vegas, where we had a whole section most nights.
“That was great fun as I would take the ps out of Scots for being tight and all that, and they would give it back to me. We always had a laugh when the Scots were in.”
Later this year Matt, 56, will follow his big brother Luke — who is just 11 minutes older than him — on to the big screen when he makes his acting debut in the film Midus opposite US actor Stephen Dorff.
Actor Jason Statham saw Matt three times at his Vegas residencyGetty Images - GettyGettyMatt also met with Hollywood royalty Robert De Niro in Vegas[/caption]
He says: “I’m kind of a bad guy, but a good guy at the same time, but it’s part of a trilogy.
“Acting is something I have wanted to do for a long time and then this chance just came up.
“I got a video message from Stephen saying he’s looking forward to working with me, so I’m not really nervous about it.
“I think strangely, something happens around this age where you just feel like you fit into the groove, and you know who you are and will give something new a shot.”
At the end of last year, Matt admitted that his relationship with his twin had broken down, saying: “I don’t want to go into detail, but I also don’t want to lie any more. We are completely estranged.”
But he has occasionally met up with Craig, who has since gone into management and now guides the career of US superstar P!nk.
He says: “We have had lunch together at Soho House in LA. It’s great to see him doing so well and I truly wish him all the best.”
Someone he would like to meet in person is Sam Heughan and he insists the offer still stands for the hunky Scot to join him on stage.
Matt says: “I’m really looking forward to seeing a good crowd as I have put together a rocking set.
“And if Sam wants to to turn up he’d be more than welcome to join me and my great band on stage.
“I guarantee Sam and everyone else will enjoy themselves, then they’re welcome to join me for another mad night out in Scotland.”
Matt Goss: The Hits & More comes to Glasgow Pavilion on March 21.

SPENDING the night on a private island is something that only seems possible for celebrities.
But holidaymakers can live a pinch of the A-list lifestyle by renting a holiday home on the island of Lihou, in the English Channel, from just £13.33 per person per night.
Holidaymakers can rent Lihou House on one of the Guernsey islands from just £13.33 per nightAlamyThe house is the only building on Lihou and the island is only accessible from Guernsey via a causeway that appears at low tide[/caption]
The small tidal island of Lihou is one of the five inhabited Guernsey islands.
It’s connected to Guernsey by a causeway, which becomes both visible and accessible when the tide is low.
While most of Lihou island is a nature reserve, it is home to a single house that can be rented out by holidaymakers.
Operated by the Lihou Charitable Trust, Lihou House can sleep up to 30 people in its nine bedrooms.
The rental property also features a large kitchen and dining area – perfect for large groups.
While the house is geared towards catering for large school groups, adult gatherings can also be accommodated.
Although both stag and hen parties are not allowed and nor are big birthday celebrations.
The house is entirely self-sufficient, generating its own drinking water through a bore hole and electricity through solar panels.
Gas is used in the kitchen and diesel is used to heat the generator, although both need to be transported onto the island, which means guests are asked to use resources carefully.
The house doesn’t have a TV and service on the island isn’t the best, making it ideal for holidaymakers looking to disconnect.

Lihou is a good spot for Brits who like the great outdoors with its main attractions including the Venus Pool and the ruins of a 12th-century priory.
The Venus Pool is a natural rock pool that holidaymakers can swim in.
There are no other buildings on Lihou, which means visitors will need to bring all the supplies they need for the duration of their trip.
Lihou is also a nesting and roosting site for birds, making it ideal for bird watchers.
Guests will need to cart their luggage along the causeway, with holidaymakers encouraged to pack light.
Stays at Lihou House start from £13.33 per person per night, based on 30 people staying in the holiday home.
It costs £400 per night to rent the entire property, which means Brits are essentially renting the entire island for that price.
Stays will cost a maximum of £40 per person per night as at least 10 people are needed to book out the holiday home.
To reach Lihou from the British mainland, holidaymakers will need to board a ferry to Guernsey.
From Guernsey, Lihou can be reached on foot at low tide.
THERE are plenty of tiny islands dotted along the UK's coastline, several of which can either be rented out in their entirety or have cottages where holidaymakers can stay...
Osea Island, Essex Located in the Blackwater Estuary, Osea Island is a secluded retreat accessible via a tidal causeway. It offers luxurious accommodation and can be rented for events, holidays, or corporate retreats.
Eilean Shona, Scotland This private island in Loch Moidart is known for its stunning natural beauty and connection to J.M. Barrie, the author of Peter Pan. It offers cottages for rent and is perfect for a peaceful getaway.
Ynys Castell, Anglesey, Wales Situated off the coast of Anglesey, this tidal island is accessible by a causeway at low tide. It provides a charming rental property with spectacular views of the Menai Strait.
It’s not the only place in the UK where guests can rent out an entire island for their summer getaways.
The Old Fishing Station, a cottage on an island in the Scottish Highlands, allows holidaymakers to relax in the hot tub overlooking the water and the Highland surroundings before cooking up some fresh seafood on the barbecue.

A MONEY-SMART mum has revealed how parents can get their hands on posh Pampers nappies for free in Morrisons.
Over the last few years, the prices of baby products have skyrocketed, leaving many cash-strapped parents increasingly worried and frustrated.
GettyParents can now get their hands on posh Pampers nappies for free[/caption]
AlamyAccording to one mum, from Dorset, Morrisons is offering the baby essential for free for the next 20 days[/caption]
facebookTo snap up this deal, you need to be a member of the Morrisons Baby and Toddler Club[/caption]
According to research, parents are now paying a whopping 38 per cent more for baby items compared to 2022, the Mirror reported.
The biggest rise has been nappy cream, up by 37.9% year on year, while baby bottles cost 17.2% more and baby lotion by 14.1%.
Other items that have seen an increase in price included nappies that went up by 8.9%, dummies at 8.4% and infant formula at 8.1%.
Meanwhile, baby food has seen a smaller rise at 1.5%.
Luckily, one cash-savvy mum, Holly Heward, has come to rescue after spotting an epic deal currently on offer in Morrisons.
According to Holly, from Dorset, the mega supermarket is offering parents posh Pampers totally for free.
Informing fellow money-smart shoppers about the news, Holly revealed that those with a Morrisons More Card should check their Morrisons app.
If you you can’t spot the offer on the app, Holly reminded to ”check that you are part of the Baby and Toddler Club”.
This exclusive club for parents with kids under the age of five has numerous benefits – not only can you discover new treats, shoppers can also save money on parenting essentials.
What’s more, the club also has heaps of handy tips and nutritious recipes to help your little one grow.
Once you’ve successfully managed to create an account, log in and check out the My Offers section, where you can now snap up a pack of selected Pampers Bay Dry Nappies in sizes 3-8 when you next shop in store.
The offer is said to expire in 20 days – and although that’s next month, it’s best to act quick before you forget about the deal.
BUYING nappies and other baby items can be an expensive task, but parents are just realising there’s a trick that could save them cash.
If you’ve got a newborn or multiple little ones to look after, you can really see your outgoings go up.
One money saving mum was shocked to discover that she could have been saving money on nappies for years.
She posted her find on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
The mum wrote: “If you haven’t already and you have little ones still in nappies, then get the “Pampers Club App” downloaded.
“You can earn discount coupons and remember to use the code to redeem a £6 off coupon straight away.”
She wasn’t alone in discovering the deal, as the post racked up more than 30 comments from equally as surprised parents who were keen to share in the bargain.
One social media user wrote: “Wish I’d known about this when my boy was born.”
Another tagged their friend and said: “Have you looked into this?!”
A third added: “Ohhh yes gonna give it a go!”
Essentially, each pack of Pampers nappies you buy has a code on the inside of the box, if you scan that code on the Pampers Club app you get a stamp.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play store on Android.
You get one point per nappy in a pack so the larger the packs, the more points you’ll receive.
For example, if you scan a code inside a pack of 86 nappies, you’ll receive 86 points.
Tottenham win: Tottenham tails are up following a run of three straight Premier League victories – the longest run in the division. Ange Postecoglou has crucial members of the side back and they should be able to capitalise on a confidence-stricken Manchester City.
BTTS (YES): They might be struggling for results, but Manchester City have still scored more goals than any other side in the division over the last fix league matches (16). They have, however, conceded the seventh most goals in that period (10). They’ve also shipped 15 goals in their last six away games in all competitions.
Brennan Johnson to score: He’s back and he’s back with a bang! The Wales international grabbed a fine brace against Ipswich Town over the weekend, and has fond memories of this fixture having grabbed the fourth at the Etihad earlier this season.
Omar Marmoush to score: If Manchester City are to score, and we expect they will, it’s more than likely to come via Omar Marmoush. The Egyptian scored a hat-trick against Newcastle United, and no Manchester City player can better his 11 attempts on goal over the last four matches, nor better his minutes per shot on 26.6.
