A HEARTWARMING video showing Prince William joking with a little boy who didn’t recognise him has resurfaced.
The Prince of Wales has been praised for the video which showed him laughing his way through an “adorable” chat with a three-year-old during a walkabout inWindsorinBerkshire.
A viral video has resurfaced showing Prince William’s ‘sweet’ meeting with a confused young boyThe youngster took some time to realise who he was talking to
On a visit with his wife Kate two years ago, he was introduced to a young boy who seemed excited to be there – only a little confused.
A TikTok video clip has resurfaced this week, revealing the moment the future king was asked by the youngster: “How long until we are going to be able to see Prince William?”
The royal played along, winking at the boy’s parents and joking: “We don’t know where he is! Have you seen him yet?”
After the boy answers “no”, William can be heard continuing: “Where do you think he is? Do you think he went that way?
“He might come along in a minute – we’ll see if he’s there.”
After asking if the boy knew who he was, William receives the response: “Erm – the government?”
The laughing prince replies, looking down at his navy suit, with the words: “No, I’m not the government – I look like the government, do I?
The conversation came on May 7 2023, the day after William’s father Charles was crowned king at Westminster Abbey in London.
But 41-second footage of the encounter – filmed by the boy’s grandmother – was posted online on the “Royal Watcher” TikTok account three months after the event.
Delighted viewers have been posting comments praising the prince.
One called the conversation “Too cute for words“, adding: “Both are adorable – lovely.”
Another admirer wrote: “I love that he winked at the mum to keep it going. So cute.”
William was also hailed as “Best future King ever” and ‘Like his mother – a complete natural with children”.
It was also said of the royal couple, “I love the way they talk to children”, while someone else commented about the young boy: “What a story he’ll tell his kids one day”.
The visit marked her first public appearance since dropping out of Ascot at the list minute as she “had to find the right balance” on returning to full time duty.
The Princess visited RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital, in Essex, today.
She met with NHS workers and planted some of her ‘Catherine’s Rose’ plants in the recovery garden.
Kate spoke about life after cancer treatment, and told staff: “You know I think there’s a lot of brave faced stoicism through treatment, but then treatment’s done.
“I think the phase afterwards is really difficult, I mean, you know, you’re not necessarily in a clinical team any longer, but you’re not able to function normally at home as you once used to.
“And actually, someone to help talk you through that, show you and guide you through that phase that comes after treatment, I think it’s really valuable to have a space like this here for patients.”
She added: “But it’s life changing for anyone, through first diagnosis or post treatment and things like that, it is life changing experience both for the patient but also for the families as well.
“And actually it sometimes goes unrecognised, you don’t necessarily, particularly when it’s the first time, appreciate how much impact it is going to have.
“You have to find your new normal and that takes time… and it’s a roller coaster it’s not one smooth plain, which you expect it to be.
“But the reality is it’s not, you go through hard times and to have a place like this to have the support network, through creativity and singing or gardening whatever it might be is so valuable and it’s great this community has it, it would be great if lots of communities had this kind of support.”
Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024 after abdominal surgery at The London Clinic in January that year.

Marketa’s lucky number is 13, which she has tattooed on her and after winning a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics, she added the iconic five Olympic rings to her body art.
The Wimbledon champ said: “For me this is also art. I just like it and appreciate the people who do it. I feel like it is work and it is also art.”
How many tattoos does Marketa Vondrousova have?
Marketa got her first lot of ink when she was 16 and shows no signs of slowing down.
From photos you can count over ten smaller individual tattoos and then larger line art decorating her arms.
The Czech star has at least ten tattoos across both her arms, and even a few on her legs.

AS KILLER nurse Lucy Letby faces more charges over the deaths of babies at the hospitals where she worked, and more arrests are made, the case that shocked a nation continues to unravel.
But an expert who believes Letby, 35, is being used as a scapegoat for possible hospital failings told The Sun that the new developments could help to prove her innocence.
PALucy Letby is serving 15 whole-life orders for killing seven babies and attempting to murder seven others[/caption]
SWNSThe killer nurse has twice failed to appeal her convictions[/caption]
AlamyPolice have widened their investigation to look into gross negligence manslaughter for staff at the Countess of Chester Hospital[/caption]
Yesterday, Cheshire Constabulary confirmed that three people – who were in senior leadership roles at the Countess of Chester Hospital – had beenarrestedon suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter as part of an investigation into thebaby deaths and later bailed.
And now Letby could face even further charges in connection with the deaths and collapses of babies at both the Countess of Chester Hospital and Liverpool Women’s Hospital.
And she was also found guilty of trying to kill seven others – including one baby twice.
But after the latest bombshell developments in the case, Professor Richard Gill, a statistical misrepresentation consultant, told The Sun: “I think this will blow up in the police’s face.”
The professor has helped free multiple medical professionals wrongfully convicted of killing patients, including Dutch nurse Lucia de Berk and Italian nurse Daniela Poggiali.
He has previously argued that he can also prove Letby’s innocence.
Asked if he believes cops are diverting attention away from potential hospital failures or because there is a growing backlash against Letby’s convictions, he said: “Both, I think.”
He added: “I think this is a move of desperation and a diversionary tactic by police.
“They have been threatening this for a long time. So they have to do it to preserve face. They are doing it now in an attempt to regain control of the narrative.”
Talking about how the arrests could help Letby’s case, he says: “At least these persons will be able to afford top legal representation.
“I think this will help Lucy a great deal. Those managers can pay top lawyers. They can fight back using the enormous doubts which now exist in the safety of Lucy’s convictions.”
The findings of the Thirlwall Inquiry – an examination into the events at the hospital at the time of the baby deaths for which Letby was convicted – are due in early 2026.
Prof Gill said: “Police are interfering with the Thirlwall Inquiry. They should have waited until Thirlwall’s report was ready.”
Asked if cops will be potentially worried about what the inquiry will reveal, he said: “No, just because the inquiry had the job of determining whether managers were to blame.
“It’s a legal issue. The police are interrupting a statutory inquiry. One branch of government disturbing what another is doing.”
Corporate manslaughter occurs when a company’s gross negligence in managing or organising its activities leads to a person or persons’ death.
What is the difference between corporate and gross negligence manslaughter?
CORPORATE manslaughter is a criminal offence in England and Wales used to prosecute companies accused of causing a person or persons death.
Corporate manslaughter is a relatively new offence under English law.
The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act came into force across the UK in April 2008.
Before this companies could be prosecuted for causing death under the offence of gross negligence manslaughter.
But in order for the prosecution to be successful a senior individual in the company would also have to be accountable.
The new act provided that the company itself could be found guilty of the offence.
The Crown Prosecution Service says: “The offence was created to provide a means of accountability for very serious management failings across the organisation.”
Meanwhile, gross negligence manslaughter is a common law offence.
It is committed where the death is a result of a grossly negligent (though otherwise lawful) act or omission on the part of the defendant, The Crown Prosecution says.
The circumstances in which this offence may fall to be considered often involve death following medical treatment or care or death in custody.
The ex-bosses have not been named by police, and cops were clear to say that this does not impact any of the killer nurse’s convictions.
Cheshire Police say their investigations into corporate and gross negligence manslaughter at the hospitals where the killer nurse worked continue.
The probe, launched in 2023, is examining areas such as senior leadership and decision making to “determine whether any criminality has taken place”.
When police first announced hospital staff could face prosecution in March, Prof Gill had said he was convinced the deaths occurred due to changes introduced, which meant greater numbers of “doomed” patients were admitted to the ward where Letby worked.
Prof Gill said: “NHS statistics show that the increase in mortality can be fully explained by changes in admissions policy.”
Earlier this year, an international panel of neonatologists and paediatric specialists said Letby’s convictions were “unsafe” and told reporters bad medical care and natural causes were the reasons for the collapses and deaths.
Their evidence has been passed to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), which investigates potential miscarriages of justice, and Letby’s legal team hopes her case will be referred back to the Court of Appeal.
Prof Richard Gill is convinced Letby is innocentPAA court sketch of Letby during her trial at Manchester Crown Court last year[/caption]
PAA grab from footage of the serial baby killer’s arrest[/caption]
Between 2015 and 2016, two babies on the neo-natal unit were “deliberately” poisoned with insulin, which was “no accident”.
Some of the other babies were killed or harmed when air or milk was injected into their bloodstream or via a tube in their stomachs.
Letby, from Herefordshire, became a prime suspect when the number of baby deaths and catastrophic collapses at the hospital significantly rose.
Consultants grew concerned when they realised the children who died had “deteriorated unexpectedly”.
Letby was found to be the “common denominator” among the deaths and collapses.
Detective Superintendent Paul Hughes, Senior Investigating Officer for Operation Duet, said today: “In October 2023, following the lengthy trial and subsequent conviction of Lucy Letby, Cheshire Constabulary launched an investigation into corporate manslaughter at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
“This focuses on senior leadership and their decision making to determine whether any criminality has taken place concerning the response to the increased levels of fatalities.
“In March 2025, the scope of the investigation widened to also include gross negligence manslaughter.
“This is a separate offence to corporate manslaughter and focuses on the grossly negligent action or inaction of individuals.
“It is important to note that this does not impact on the convictions of Lucy Letby for multiple offences of murder and attempted murder.
“As part of our ongoing enquiries, on Monday 30th June three individuals who were part of the senior leadership team at the CoCH in 2015-2016, were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.
“All three have subsequently been bailed pending further enquiries.
“Both the corporate manslaughter and gross negligence manslaughter elements of the investigation are continuing and there are no set timescales for these.
“Our investigation into the deaths and non-fatal collapses of babies at the neo-natal units of both the Countess of Chester Hospital and the Liverpool Women’s Hospital between the period of 2012 to 2016 is also ongoing.”
The killer nurse has lost two appeals against her convictions so far.
Last year,The Sun reportedthatthenursewas allowed to spend £901,817.45 on barristers and £818,497.92 on solicitors.
In March, Letby called for the public inquiry into events surrounding her crimes to be suspended.
Her solicitors wrote to inquiry chairwoman Lady Justice Thirlwall insisting her final report would be “likely unreliable” unless it was paused pending the outcome of the killer nurse’s battle to prove her innocence.
With an estimated £10million spent so far on the inquiry, the letter added it would be in the taxpayer’s interest to wait for the outcome of the CCRC review before publishing the report.
But the judge refused to pause the inquiry, though the report has been delayed from November to early next year.
Cheshire Police declined to comment.

IS it really a holiday if you can’t take your best friend? And we don’t mean the human kind, but man’s furry best friend.
We’re a nation of animal lovers and demand for dog-friendly hospitality venues where four-legged guests are just as welcome as their humans has grown and grown in recent years.
Belfast native Firzana has travelled extensively in Ireland with her dog MisoLis Ard Estate made her top three favouritesThe dog lover reckons Castlemartyr Resort in Cork is the best stay for her pooch
Dublin is awash with dog-friendly restaurants and cafes where dog owners don’t even need to ask for those all-important water bowls and dog treats.
But how does it look when it comes to going on holiday in Ireland with your beloved pooch and where are the most dog-friendly spots?
Firzana Mcphilomey has toured Ireland with her multi-toy poodle mix Miso.
She reckons Miso deserves the same five-star experience as humans at some of Ireland’s top hotels and said luxury accommodation is only becoming more dog-friendly.
Firzana told the Irish Sun: “Miso is like a celebrity. She gets all the attention.
“She gets really, really excited. So she just wants to see people. And I was really surprised at how many luxury hotels are accommodating dogs.
“They’ve made a lot more allowances because previously they might have had a dog weight limit and now we’re seeing bigger dogs like golden retrievers even around various hotels.”
Firzana reckons Cork is the most dog-friendly county in Ireland with the widest selection of hospitality venues.
And her top pick for accommodation is the “luxurious and spacious” five-star Castlemartyr Resort in East Cork.
Firzana said having your own garden and outdoor patio makes a world of difference when travelling with your dog.
She said: “It just makes your pottying so much handier. It’s all closed off so there’s no risk of your dog getting out.
“That’s literally the best feature…I noticed the garden area while booking, but I didn’t realise how good it was until we arrived.
“It felt very safe for her to just roam around.”
The room’s dog-friendly amenities included doggy bowls, treats and a “really nice dog bed”.
FAB FEATURES
The hotel grounds include a forest trail, perfect for taking your pooch for their daily walk.
And the resort also offers a unique dog-sitting service, with hourly rates from €15.
Firzana said while some hotels might charge extra for you to bring your dog, the rates are slightly different at Castlemartyr.
She explained: “Castlemartyr didn’t charge us anything extra but because it’s a dog friendly room it’s a little bit more expensive than the usual rooms.”
Castlemartyr Resort warns pet owners that the maximum size of dog they allow is a that of a standard Labrador and all pets must be well-trained including recall to stay on site.
And Firzana said it’s up to dog owners to ensure they clarify the rules at their selected accommodation before travelling, adding: “Ring the hotel because it’s sometimes not clear, or directly email them.”
Also in Cork, Firzana rates Liss Ard Estate while Carton House in Kildare completes the line-up of her top-three Irish dog-friendly hotels.
At Liss Ard Estate, pets can stay in their garden house king rooms for an extra €40 per night.
And at Carton House, dogs can stay with their owners in the hotel’s Garden Wing for an additional €50 nightly.
The content creator said the price for travelling with your pooch can rack up very quickly.
PRICEY PLAN
She said: “It’s actually more expensive travelling with a dog.
“Miso is so wee so she can’t even be kennelled. So they actually would agree to take her in the house and it’d be only €15 per night.”
But the biggest challenge Firzana faces with Miso on staycations is on city breaks because it’s trickier to find green space to allow her to do her business outdoors.
And before setting out on a doggy adventure, Firzana urged owners to plan ahead.
She said: “The main tips I’d have would be have your car seat, portable water and food bowl in case of delay for check-in.
“If you’re going to a city hotel, bring puppy pads and doggy wipes. We wipe her clean before entering the hotel.
“And my top tip is prepare if you want to travel loads with dogs, have both the option of pee pads and pottying outside.
“Crate train for sure. That saves us a lot of bother – having a crate and she can just sleep in the crate.”
Several more hotels across Ireland are highly rated by dog owners with top contenders including the plush Ashford Castle in Mayo, the Cliff at Lyons in Kildare, Gregan’s Castle in Clare as well as Cork’s Kingsley and Dunmore House Hotel.
And more options include The Twelve in Galway, Cabu by the Lakes in Cavan, Galway’s Glenlo Abbey, Randles and its sister property the Dromhnall Hotel in Kerry, as well as the stunning Sheen Falls Lodge and Glasson Lakehouse in Westmeath.
Dogs Trust Ireland say a staycation with furry friends can be a “wonderful experience” but there are considerations to keep in mind in advance – and going on staycations may not be the best options for all pups.
Bosses advise: “While some pups may have the time of their life, others may be better off left at home with a dog minder.
“Start by assessing whether your pup will cope in the new environment. If they will, what type of holiday would best suit them?
“When choosing where to stay, think about the local amenities that are available. Is there a range of dog-friendly walks, beaches or places to eat?
“It’s worth searching the local area to ensure both you and your pup can enjoy everything there is to offer.
“In the summer season, not all beaches are open to dogs, so if you plan on staying beside the seaside, double-check this before making the trip.”
TOP TIPS FOR TAKING YOUR DOG ON HOLIDAY
Most dogs love routine. So, keep as close to theirs as possible by feeding them at the same time you would at home, for example.
Take their food and make sure their diet remains the same as it would back at home.
There’s lots to do and explore. But remember, dogs need 16 to 18 hours of rest or sleep per day, so make sure this is planned into your schedule.
Don’t leave your dog alone for too long. Most accommodation will allow you to leave them as long as you are still on the premises. Just make sure they are comfortable spending time alone.
Take comforts from home, such as a blanket they can snuggle up to.
And when it comes to packing, double check with your accommodation as to what they have on hand for dogs that you can save on bringing plus most importantly make sure your dog’s microchip is all up to date.
They added: “If the details are wrong and your dog was to go missing while you’re on holiday, it’ll be harder to be reunited.
“Different parts of the country may have different disease risk. So, it’s best to make sure your dog is up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick and worming treatment before travelling.”
And as temperatures rise in the summer months, the rescue group warned owners to “never ever leave a dog alone in a car”, as sadly, just a few minutes can prove fatal.
They added: “Please keep in mind that dogs cannot cope with the warmer weather the way we can.
“And stick to walking early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler.”

A BRITISH gang threatened to behead drug mule suspect Bella Culley and her family in a chilling warning to the pregnant 18-year-old.
Bella was shown a horrifying video of an execution by the evil traffickers which forced the teen to send her loved ones a two-word SOS text, her lawyer has claimed.

FacebookThe Brit told a court she was made to watch a beheading video by a Brit gang who recruited her to smuggle drugs[/caption]
East2WestBella, seen in court earlier this year, has now been jailed for over six weeks[/caption]
The Brit told her legal team that she fell into the clutches of a British-led gang of drug runners while on holiday in Thailand.
She denies knowingly importing drugs worth £200,000 into the former Soviet state of Georgia as she continues to claim she was in fear of life when she flew from Bangkok in May.
Trainee nurse Bella – who got pregnant on her Far East trip – claimed the gang also threatened to harm her parents and 16-year-old brother after claiming they knew where they lived.
In a desperate two word plea she texted her family, “HELP ME”, after being “branded” on the arm with an iron as a warning.
Bella from Billingham, County Durham, says a bag containing cannabis was checked in under her name by a gang member.
Her frantic family launched a missing person hunt in Thailand after she vanished on holiday but she turned up under arrest 4,000 miles away.
Her Georgian lawyer Malkhaz Salakaia claimed the gang terrorised the teenager into becoming a mule.
She felt queasy and almost fainted but they still forced her to watch it
Malkhaz SalakaiaBella's lawyer
He told The Sun: “They told her: ‘We know the addresses of your parents, we know where your 16 year old brother is.’
“They made her watch a video of a man being decapitated and told her: ‘If you don’t do as you are told, this is what is going to happen to you and your family.’
“She felt queasy and almost fainted but they still forced her to watch it.”
Bella – who wept in court on Monday as she appeared with her baby bump visible for the first time – has stressed the British father of her child was not a gang member.
And she went on to describe the horror of her “branding” to Mr Salakaia.
He told The Sun: “On the inside of her right arm there is a mark from this coercion.
“She was, so to say, branded – a hot iron was pressed on her arm.
“She was forced to do this – there was both psychological and physical pressure, the trace of which is still visible.
“As to her connection with this group, she knew several of them – they are British.
“At first she knew one, and then through him met the others. However, we have grounds to assume that this group also had local accomplices, including in Thailand.”
Mr Salakaia said by the time Bella managed to send a desperate text to her family, it was too late for them to stop her disastrous journey to Georgia.
FacebookBella Culley went on holiday to Thailand and wound up in handcuffs in Eastern Europe[/caption]
East2WestCannabis was found wrapped in air-tight bags in Bella’s luggage, police said[/caption]
Mr Salakaia said: “Bella sent an SMS to her family asking for help, saying: HELP ME, but by the time the family reacted it was too late
“The instruction, or rather threat, she was given consisted of the following: ‘You will take this luggage and carry it from point A to point B, to this or that country, or we will kill you.
“There is no talk of any potential reward or deal — Bella was simply forced to do this.
“The speculation that one of them is the father of Bella’s child does not correspond to the truth – I categorically deny this. There is no connection.
“I cannot say whether the father of the child knows about Bella’s situation.”
Mr Salakaia told how Bella tried in vain to raise the alarm – but discovered to her horror that Thai cops she tried to tip off were linked to the gang.
He said: “There was a very alarming episode while she was still in Bangkok. Bella seized a moment to go to some policemen – there were three of them, standing on the street.
“She told them: ‘I have a problem, this is happening, there is pressure on me, help me.’
“They spoke with her for 20 minutes and then returned her exactly to the same people she had run away from.
“This allows the simplest conclusion – that this group had things arranged with the local police.”
She was forced to do this – there was both psychological and physical pressure, the trace of which is still visible
Malkhaz SalakaiaBella's lawyer
Mr Salakaia said Bella did not see the suitcase containing 31lb of cannabis in vacuum-sealed bags until a customs officer in Georgian capital Tbilisi showed it to her.
The teenager had no idea where Tbilisi was and no idea why she was there, he said.
Bella, in a pink t-shirt with her hair in a bun, burst into tears at a court appearance on Monday where she was supported by her father Niel (ckd), 39, aunt Kerrie and grandad William Culley.
Mr Salakaia said Bella – who was refused bail on Monday – will deny drug trafficking charges which carry a minimum sentence of 15 years in jail.
Bella – who says she is happy with conditions at tough No5 Women’s Penitentiary on the outskirts of Tbilisi – is next due in court on July 10.

LIONS boss Andy Farrell has confirmed that Hugo Keenan is expected to return to full fitness within the next couple of days.
The full-back was forced out of Wednesday’s win over Queensland Reds due to illness.
Andy Farrell provided updates on Hugo Keenan and Eliott Daly after the win over The Reds in BrisbaneBritish and Irish Lions’ Elliot Daly gets medical attention after a suspected arm injury
Keenan was originally named to start but withdrew late with England’s Elliot Daly drafted in.
However, Daly’s evening was cut short after suffering a suspected broken forearm.
He left the field in the 67th minute of the Lions’ 52-12 win in Brisbane, having played on briefly after injuring himself in a tackle on Jock Campbell.
Speaking after the game, the Ireland boss gave squad updates.
He stated: “Elliot’s got a bang on the forearm and he’s going for an X-ray this evening (Wednesday). We’ve all got our fingers crossed for him,” Farrell said.
“He’s been back to his good old self. We’ve seen him do that on these tours before and he’s certainly the type of character that loves touring. He’s a people person.”
Farrell also shared details of Daly’s reaction to the late call-up before illness struck.
“I phoned him up today. He’d just come out of the gym, had done a tough old session, and I said to him, ‘How was the gym session?’ – he says, ‘Good, yeah, we trained hard’.
“I said, ‘Well done, you’ve won the golden ticket, you’re playing this evening’. He was not phased at all and that’s the type of characters that you need on tours like this.”
