Picture this: It was a sunny June 26 as Punim, filled with righteous fervor and perhaps a bit of trepidation, took to Facebook, the digital stage of our era. There, she penned a post that rapidly flickered through screens nationwide, one that described a saga of betrayal that had cost her 9 million baht—and the trust she once held in certain influential figures. With a question more rhetorical than not, she implored her audience with, “Should I reveal their names?” Her predicament was dire, having been not only swindled out of her wealth but also imprisoned despite a hefty payout meant to avoid…

Thailand’s Northern Provinces Rocked by Record-Breaking Drug Busts

It seems the usually tranquil northern regions of Thailand have been abuzz with law enforcement action, starring none other than our relentless narcotics task forces. These brave officers recently humiliated illicit smuggling operations with two massive drug busts that could easily star in a blockbuster action film. Picture this: 10 million methamphetamine pills tucked away like illicit Easter eggs inside seemingly innocent speaker boxes, and an additional 600,000 pills lounging in parcels at an express delivery service, as casual as can be. The backdrop for these events? The charming provinces of Phrae and Chiang Rai, places one might normally associate with serene landscapes rather than nerve-wracking drug battles. On July 1st, Police Region 5 showcased their victory, and one could almost hear the applause echoing through the forests. In the heart-thumping scene in Phrae, officers were casually sipping their Thai iced coffee at a checkpoint in tambon Huai Rai, Den…

Supachai Kaewplod Faces Charges After Stolen Motorbike Found in Thalang

In a curious case that unfolded in the bustling streets of Thalang, a man found himself in hot water after being nabbed for a rather amateurish attempt at concealing a stolen motorbike. This peculiar episode took place yesterday, July 1, when law enforcement agents swarmed upon 38-year-old Supachai Kaewplod’s living quarters in the Keha U-Athorn housing estate nestled within Srisoonthorn. Led by the astute Police Colonel Nikorn Chuthong of the Thalang Police Station, alongside his eagle-eyed investigative team, the capture was swift and efficient. The day had barely started for 25-year-old Suphanat Khuntongkam, who, oblivious to the brewing storm, casually parked his beloved black-grey Honda Wave 110i outside Building 92 at dawn’s first light, around 5:08 am. Fate, however, had other plans, as it often does. Not long after, Suphanat experienced that sinking feeling familiar to anyone who’s ever misplaced their keys or wallet—except this was a whole motorbike! In…

Iconic car firm reveals ‘most powerful supercar EVER’ as it hints at ‘new future’ with limited edition model

AN iconic Italian car firm has teased the release of a new supercar that is expected to be the brands “most powerful ever.”

The news comes after a potential name for the new model was revealed with the company filing for a trademark on “Fenomeno” earlier this year.

Lamborghini is said to have entered a new era with the recently revealed Temerario and Reveulto.

The two already released models are reportedly set to become the foundation for a range of one-off and limited-production variants.

Filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office in April this year the firm hinted at a potential name for a new limited-production project in the works.

Lamborghini’s filing for a trademark on the name “Fenomeno” is in its “opposition proceedings” which conclude on July 15.

It could be some time before the name is given to a product but Lamborghini might still surprise customers in the coming weeks.

A new limited-edition supercar has been confirmed to be in the works with Lamborghini set to reveal the motor at Monterey Car Week in August.

The brand says its new limited-edition model will “map out the future of Lamborghini super sports cars.”

Select clients have reportedly already seen the model with it expected to be Lamborghini’s most powerful car ever.

The new model is set to use Lamborghini’s V-12 and just 29 examples of the motor are to be produced.

The new supercar will seemingly be named Fenomeno – which is Italian and Spanish for phenomenon.

Graphic representation submitted alongside the trademark filing shows the wordmark with styling similar to the brand’s other supercars.

Horns appear on the F and O and the word is written in a slanted font.

Recently revealed supercars offered to consumers by the brand feature some pretty punchy engines.

The Revuelto features a 6.5-litre hybrid V-12 offering up a staggering 1,001 horsepower.

The Temerario boasts a twin turbo V-8 with three electric motors and delivers 920 horsepower.

To call a new model a phenomenon in comparison to 1,000 horsepower beasts like the Reveulto suggests the brand is cooking up something really special.

The teased new supercar is likely to boast even more impressive specs with the motor expected to be the brand’s most powerful.

To achieve this the new supercar would need to beat out the Reveulto’s staggering 1,001 horsepower which currently holds the record for the most powerful Lamborghini.

Virginia Giuffre’s heart-wrenching diary reveals Epstein victim’s painful and ‘abusive’ final months before her suicide

VIRGINIA Giuffre’s diary leading up to her tragic suicide have shown how much the victim of Jeffrey Epstein had been struggling.

Those final months of her life were said to have been tougher than any legal battle or mental scars left behind by Epstein or Prince Andrew, her sister-in-law has said.

Cops found Virginia, 41, unresponsive at her remote farmhouse, an hour north of PerthAustralia, back in April.

Her passing followed a series of troubling events involving allegations of abuse, a mysterious bus crash riddle and her family being torn apart.

Now, Virginia‘s loved ones and her heart-wrenching last few diary entries have revealed how tough her final days really were.

Her death was a terrible ending to this story, but there is a big part of it she never got to tell

Amanda RobertsVirginia's sister-in-law

Amanda Roberts, the wife of Virginia’s younger brother Sky, told The Times: “[She] may have fought battles with some of the most powerful men in the world, like Epstein and Prince Andrew.

“But what people didn’t understand was that [in her final days] the hardest battle of her life was at home.

“Her death was a terrible ending to this story, but there is a big part of it she never got to tell.”

The hardship revolved around her home life and most notably her once trusted husband of 22 years Robert Giuffre.

Robert, a martial arts instructor and the father to Virginia’s three children, reportedly left the brave accuser back in August 2023.

During this time, Robert took the children – aged 19, 16, and 15 – with him and away from Virginia.

But in a tell-all interview shortly before her death, Virginia came forward for the first time with allegations that she had suffered abuse at the hands of her husband.

“I was able to fight back against Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, who abused and trafficked me,” she said in a statement to People magazine.

“But I was unable to escape the domestic violence in my marriage until recently. After my husband’s latest physical assault, I can no longer stay silent.”

In response, Robert is reported to have filed a family violence restraining order against her, claiming that it was her who had become violent.

The stronger I became, the scarier he became

Virginia about her estranged husband

Virginia’s family have now shared extracts from her diary at the beginning of this year, in which she shares her memories of her marriage as it was faltering.

She alleges Robert was violent, abusive and “emotionally and physically controlling” within the texts and legal filings.

One passage detailed how Virginia believed the ramifications of her speaking out against Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and making the claims against Andrew caused her marriage to break down over time.

Virginia wrote in her diary: “The stronger I became, the scarier he became.

“Instead of praising his wife’s accomplishments he began to be jealous, trying to make me stop advocating for victims of trafficking”

Another page detailed Virginia’s worries as she claimed there were “increased signs of possessiveness” from Robert towards her.

These allegedly included him telling Virginia his best mates were trying to sleep with her and banning her from going downstairs when any man was over at their home.

“I became a prisoner,” she wrote.

Robert’s attorney has said they cannot comment on the accusations due to legal proceedings relating to the family ongoing in Western Australia.

Further allegations were uncovered in a series of text messages sent in April of this year – just weeks before Virginia took her own life.

One of these detailed the earliest alleged incident of domestic violence which dates back to 2010, according to a message shared by Virginia’s public representative Dini von Mueffling.

Virginia accused Robert of punching and kicking her on the floor after he returned home from a “3-day bender” just months after their youngest child was born.

There is no record of a formal complaint being made at the time.

However, a court filing from 2015 has been found by The Times which details Robert was arrested in Colorado for an alleged assault on Virginia.

The couple kept the case, which was labelled as “domestic violence” related in remont County, private from the world.

Robert pleaded guilty to domestic violence and was placed on probation, according to the filing.

Sky and Amanda Roberts have both come out since and said they viewed Robert as “controlling” and having a short temper.

Who was Virginia Giuffre?

VIRGINIA Roberts - later Virginia Giuffre, 41, was an American-Australian campaigner and a prominent victim of the sex trafficking ring of Jeffrey Epstein.

She made claims against Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, as well as Brit socialite Ghislaine Maxwell – Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-lover.

Giuffre alleged in court documents that she was procured by Maxwell, 63, the daughter of disgraced tycoon Robert Maxwell, as a teenage “sex slave” for Epstein.

She released a manuscript just hours before Epstein’s death, which added to more than 2,000 documents of a lawsuit pending against the former financier and his pals.

The legal documents were released in a defamation case involving Giuffre, who has claimed in court documents that Prince Andrew slept with her three times.

In 2019, Virginia Roberts claimed that she had sex with Prince Andrew in a toilet when she was 17, after a night where he had allegedly been plying her with vodka in a posh London club.

On February 15, 2022, it was announced that Prince Andrew settled the lawsuit – sparing him a humiliating court battle.

But they admitted Virginia had never mentioned any physical abuse up until this year.

On January 9, Virginia first told her brother about an alleged incident.

She accused Robert of “punching her over and over” after Virginia allegedly refused to have sex with her husband.

At this point the pair were estranged and living apart with them only meeting to spend time with the children.

Sky recalls Virginia facetiming him after the alleged attack and saying she had suffered recurring injuries to her sternum and spine.

Pictures allegedly showing Virginia’s injuries were shared as the mum-of-three had a black eye, a marked forehead and bruised neck.

Robert then hit back with accusations of his own as he claimed Virginia headbutted, spat and punched him on the same evening.

Police were informed of both accusations and investigated them but no charges were filed.

Robert would file for temporary custody of two of their children shortly after and was granted the request.

Virginia was then told she couldn’t contact the two kids for six months due to Robert filing a restraining order.

I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time

Virginia

She never saw her children again due to her death a short time after.

Virginia did make a desperate last plea to speak to her daughters and son in March.

She posted a photograph of herself that quickly made headlines around the world as she was covered in bruises and in a hospital bed.

Virginia claimed her car had been hit by a school bus travelling at nearly 70mph and had just four days left to live.

In a gut-wrenching statement she said: “I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time.”

However, shock quickly turned to confusion after Australian police revealed the collision was logged as a minor traffic incident and that no injuries were reported.

Virginia representatives later said that the Instagram post was a mistake and had been intended for a private page.

Her family believe the post was a final attempt to reach out to her children.

This was backed up by a poignant final diary entry titled: “To the kids.”

It read: “Everyday that I don’t see your faces has a little less light.

“The world is dimmer without you in it.”
