Skincare whizz urges beauty fans to hit high street store for £2.49 spray that works a treat to stop spots on hot days

FOR oily girls, there’s nothing worse than hot, sweaty days.

As perspiration can end up blocking pores and often leads to annoying breakouts.

But one beauty whizz has shared a £2.49 that can work wonders to stop spots – but it’s not from the skincare aisle.

Instead, you need to head to the baby section in high street store Savers, to pick up Vital Baby’s Hygiene Aquaint cleansing water spray.

“If you’re in the UK and you are sweating out of every orifice this one’s for you,” Lauren, who has worked in the beauty industry since 2017, said in a video on her TikTok page.

“I’m going to show you the ultimate product that you need for this summer when you’re absolutely sweating.

“Don’t say I don’t bring you the best of the best for a fraction of the price.”

The main ingredient of the Vital spray is hypochlorous acid.

And explaining why the liquid is so good for the skin on summer days, Lauren continued: “The reason I love hypochlorous acid, and why it’s so good if you’re oily and prone to acne, is because it fights bacteria without drying the skin.”

She added that a lot of the products she’s tried to fight acne end up drying out the skin, which then means you need “other products to combat that dryness”.

“It’s also an amazing anti-inflammatory – it helps with wound healing and you can use this on kids’ skin, hence why it’s in the baby section,” she said.

“I literally just love it as an all-purpose!”

Another benefit is that you can use it as many times as you want during the day, and you can even spray it over make-up.

“It doesn’t leave like a wet residue on your skin,” she added.

“I absolutely love it and it’s really cooling as well.”

Lauren has long been a fan of Clinisoothe’s hypochlorous mist, but at £19.50, it’s an expensive purchase.

So for just £2.49, she concluded that it’s a case of “Savers for the win”.

I’m back with another high street find,” she captioned her video.

Biggest skincare trends for 2025

Face The Future’s Head of Clinic, Kimberley Medd, shared the five skincare trends predicted to take off in 2025.

1. Exosomes

Exosomes are the buzzword for 2025, taking advanced skin regeneration to new heights. These micro-messengers signal skin cells to repair damage, boost collagen, and accelerate recovery, and they’re a gamechanger for targeting ageing.

2. Streamlined Skincare

The age of 12-step routines is fading as consumers shift to more intentional, multi-functional products. Streamlining skincare not only saves time but also reduces the risk of overloading your skin. In 2025, we’ll see a rise in hybrid products that combine active ingredients for simplified, effective results.

3. Vegan Collagen

Plant-based collagen will dominate the skincare world this year, providing a sustainable, ethical alternative to traditional animal-derived collagen. Expect vegan collagen in everything from moisturisers to serums.

4. The Rise Of AI

AI is revolutionising the beauty landscape, making it possible for consumers to get truly personalised skincare solutions. In 2025, we predict a dramatic shift towards AI-powered tools that help people understand their skin on a deeper level.

5. Hair Loss Solutions –

Hair loss is an issue that affects more men than we often realise, and it’s no longer just something we’re talking about behind closed doors. This year, expect to see a continued rise in demand for treatments that not only tackle hair loss but also nurture overall scalp health.

“This time @Savers doing the Lord’s work with this hypochlorous acid.”

“Need to get this!” one person wrote in the comments section of the TikTok.

“I sweat profusely from my face and head, it literally drips off,” another said.

“I’ve tried every known product on the market and prescription is this going to work?”

“I suffer with hyperhidrosis myself too,” Lauren replied.

“This doesn’t stop the sweat but it stops me from breaking out due to the sweat sitting on the surface.”

“I know where I’m going on lunch,” a third laughed.

“So this would be good for teenage spots…. Easy to apply, doesn’t dry skin, sounds like a winner to me!” someone else said.

To which Lauren responded: “Absolutely – amazing for after sports too for teenagers”.

She added that it’s also the “perfect size for a school bag”.

“Off to Savers I go,” another wrote.

Eddie Hearn reveals when Anthony Joshua will make boxing return after reviving talks for huge Deontay Wilder fight

ANTHONY JOSHUA has vowed to return to boxing with a bang – as a talk of a fight with Deontay Wilder grows louder.

AJ has been sidelined since his September knockout loss to Daniel Dubois and this year underwent elbow surgery.

But promoter Eddie Hearn revealed the two-time heavyweight champion is on track to fight before the year ends with Wilder a top target.

He initially held talks with the American’s manager Shelly Finkel over a bout with Dave Allen – but now AJ is ready to take on Wilder himself.

Hearn told SunSport at the launch of Matchroom’s rebrand: “I think it’s a great fight.

“I mean there’s jeopardy in it, it’s dangerous. Originally I was speaking to Shelly about Dave Allen.

“I kind of get the feeling that Wilder wants to get a few fights under the belt, get a bit of confidence back.

“I think it’s great to see him returning, it’s really important that Deontay is still in the heavyweight division.

“AJ I will be here tonight. We’ve just started pinging a few opponents backwards and forwards, nothing really to talk about, but you will see AJ in the ring, November or December.”

Joshua, 35, and Wilder, 39, were once close to agreeing a huge undisputed title decider before rival broadcasters and promoters got in the way.

Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh then tried to revive the bout last year – until disaster struck.

Wilder was beaten by Joseph Parker on points and knocked out by Zhilei Zhang – once again KOing the clash.

The former WBC champ took time off before returning in a confidence-building bout against Tyrrell Herndon – winning in seven rounds.

Wilder could even box in one more tune-up before jumping back into the big time – while AJ is also ready to return after giving his body a rest.

He said: “I took a year out, first time in about 12 to 13 years as a professional, not even including the amateur stuff.

“But I took a year out, get my body right. I’m at a different stage in my career where I can look at time a bit differently.

“I’m all these years in front of me like the main man here, so I gotta make like really executive decisions about what I do next.

“So the minute I come back, you know I’ll come back with a bang rather than just keep rolling through and just going with the motions of the sport.

“I just thought, let me take some time out so when I do come back I come back fully active and ready to go and take the division by storm again.”

Yet it is haircare brand REHAB that has accelerated her fortune over the past two years[/caption]

All-woman founded haircare brand REHAB captured Stacey‘s attention years ago – but she told how she had taken the surprise decision to become part of the team.

The Sort Your Life Out anchor, 35, invested her own cash into small haircare brand REHAB, owning a third of the firm in doing so.

Now sources have told MailOnline the all-female business has reached a six figure milestone which has seen them “making millions” in the sector.

Stacey, along with business partners Anastasia and Vicky, is also seeing their popularity “expanding.”

REHAB has also been hailed the fastest-growing beauty brand on the FEBE 100 list for 2025, in yet another boost for the trio.

The collection has now expanded into bodycare products as well as haircare as it expands its offering further.

Its Instagram page now reads: “It’s time to REHAB. Your hair and body.”

BUSINESS BABE

Stacey first revealed her latest career project in a lengthy message on social media.

At the time, she gushed to fans: “I can’t put into words how incredible it feels to say that I am going to start a whole new chapter in my life championing incredible women in business.

“I see so many talented people day in day out working so hard to achieve their dreams and it’s not easy out there.

“I can’t wait to give my absolute all to Rehab and take it to the places it deserves to be.”

REHAB was founded by two female best friends who say they were “trying to keep up with multiple jobs, children, and their London based social lives”.

Describing themselves on REHAB’s website, they said: “Busy women with a single mission – transform tired hair to its full healthy, glossy potential.”

Stacey presents BBC’s Sort Your Life Out as well as being a panellist on Loose Women.

Stacey Solomon's career so far

Stacey Solomon has been a familiar face on viewers' screens for over a decade. Let's take a look back at her career.

The X Factor (2009): Stacey competed in series six of long-running ITV singing competition The X Factor. During her time in the show, she was mentored by Danni Minogue in the ‘Girls’ category. The star finished in third place, behind Joe McElderry and Olly Murs.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (2010); In late 2010, Stacey headed to the infamous I’m A Celeb Aussie jungle. After 21 days, she triumphed to win the tenth series. It was through I’m A Celeb that she met future husband Joe Swash – who’d won two years earlier and was hosting the ITV2 spinoff.

Celebrity Juice (2011―2013, 2016―2019): The star appeared as a panellist on 21 episodes of the comedy panel game show hosted by Keith Lemon. Stacey was a regular in the 21st series, broadcast in 2019.

Loose Women (2016 – present): Stacey has been a permanent panel member of the daytime show since 2016. She previously made guest appearances in 2011 and 2012.

Sort Your Life Out (2022 -present): This BBC show sees Stacey, with the help of an expert team, transform participants’ living spaces after removing clutter.

CASHING IN

Back in April, The Sun exclusively revealed the X Factor alum was raking in £57K a month.

Her performing arts firm, Key Maps Entertainments, which funnels all of her earnings, has filed new accounts which lay bare just how rich Stacey really is.

The figures mean that Stacey is taking home a tidy £8,270 a DAY.

Stacey first set up the firm in 2012 in order to disclose all her financial earnings.

In 2014, it was reported that she had banked a more modest £100,000 over the previous two years.

The ITV and BBC darling managed to achieve the major figure largely thanks to her TV endeavours including her NTA-winning show Sort Your Life Out as well as her brand new reality show with her husband Joe Swash.

But being on the small screen isn’t the only way she’s has topped up her bank balance.

Stacey has helped to improve her massive fortune thanks to countless brand and endorsement deals.

She has worked alongside Asda, Jet2, In The Style and Primark in order to keep her earnings rising year on year.
