instagramHe was dating Towie’s Ferne McCann in 2017 when he threw acid in the Mangle E8 club in Dalston[/caption]
He was said to have wooed her from behind bars – sending Amelia bouquets of flowers and her visiting him in prison regularly.
But a friend of the former reality star has told The Sun: “Amelia has called off her romance with Arthur.
“Some members of her family only found out about her romance after reading about it in the Sun and urged her to dump him especially after seeing the pictures of him injecting himself with steroids from behind bars.”
But concerned family members are said to be worried that it’s only a matter of time before she gives Collins a second chance.
“They’ve told Amelia he’s ‘bad news’ and she shouldn’t put her life on hold for him,” they continued.
“They are worried Collins has a hold over her.
“Amelia has told her family she has dumped him for good but her friends believe it won’t be long before she starts seeing him again because of the hold he has over her.”
The Sun has reached out to Amelia’s rep for comment.
A source said at the time: “They talk all the time — despite the fact he’s in jail.
“He’s got a phone they speak on and he’s sent her flowers a number of times.”
Possessing a phone in jail is an offence and can lead to a loss of privileges or a longer sentence. Collins got an extra eight months in 2018 for smuggling a phone into jail.
His fresh antics emerged after The Sun on Sunday revealed that scheming lag Collins had a “steroid” injected into his bottom in his cell.
He was dating Towie’s Ferne McCann in 2017 when he threw acid in the Mangle E8 club in Dalston, East London — leaving 16 people with chemical burns.
Collins planned to marry Annie Bull in 2022 after romancing her from his cell. He proposed during a visit, after which she had his name tattooed under her boobs.
Amelia, on Love Island in 2017, had fallen under his spell.
On his birthday last month, she posted on her Instagram an image of red roses with the letter “A” above them.
She wrote: “Happy birthday to the most handsome pain in the arse, Love you x.”
Our source went on: “Amelia has made no secret of her relationship with Arthur and has told her friends she’s mad about him and thinks he’s the one.
“She says she thinks Arthur is a changed man.
“Some of her mates are worried about her getting involved with him but Amelia won’t listen.”
Another source, close to Amelia, tried to downplay talk of a romance and said: “She’s visited Arthur but he is a family friend.”
Meanwhile, Collins has been transferred from The Mount Prison in Herts — where the injection footage was taken — amid fears he was scheming to import drugs using drones.
An anti-corruption team has found illicit items at his new home, HMP Buckley Hall, near Rochdale.
A source said: “He’s in trouble constantly and doesn’t seem to care.
“He goes around like the big ‘I am’ as if he rules the roost.”

THE EVIL dad of brave double-amputee Tony Hudgell is set to be released from prison – just days after the youngster’s birth mother was let out of jail, it can be revealed.
A parole board hearing has decided Anthony Smith, 53, can be released after serving just seven years of his 10-year sentence.

Tony Hudgell’s birth mother has also been released from prisonPA:Press AssociationSWNSAnthony Smith, 53, can be released after serving just seven years of his 10-year sentence[/caption]
He was jailed in 2018 after his baby son, Tony, now 10, was discovered to be in a critical condition having suffered a litany of terrible injuries.
Medics had to remove the tot’s legs below the knee.
Tony, the youngest ever recipient of the British Empire Medal for his fundraising efforts, was only 41 days old at the time of the abuse and continues to suffer from the effects of his parent’s cruelty.
The decision comes in the same week Tony’s cruel birth mum Jody Simpson, 33, was released from jail.
The panel heard that there would be extensive supervision of Smith under the proposed release plan.
The panel concluded this plan would be “robust enough to manage him in the community.”
The summary said : “After considering the circumstances of his offending, the progress made while in custody, the recommendations of the witnesses, and the evidence presented at the hearing, the panel was satisfied that imprisonment was no longer necessary for the protection of the public.”
Other licence conditions include having to comply with other identified limitations concerning contacts, activities and residency to avoid contact with victims, and to protect children in general.
He will also have to meet specified restrictions relating to the use of mobile phones.
Tony’s adopted mum Paula Hudgell, 57, does not believe the conditions go far enough.
The anti-child cruelty campaigner from West Malling, Kent, said: “Another of Tony’s remorseless birth parents is now going to be living free – while the boy they harmed deals with life-long injuries.
“He will be on licence, and I appreciate that he will be monitored, but after that licence expires he will do what he did while on bail and disappear.
“We know he uses aliases, we know he is a danger to children and yet he won’t be tracked past the expiration of his licence.
“In my opinion he has shown absolutely no remorse for what he did to Tony – none at all – he remains a dangerous, violent person.
“This is why I keep continuing the campaign to introduce the Child Cruelty Register so we can keep track of people who could do harm to more kids.
“It’s not just about Smith or Simpson, it’s about making sure child abusers are prevented from harming innocent children.”
Smith, along with Tony’s birth mum Jody Simpson, 33, was convicted of causing or allowing a child to sustain an injury and neglect by failing to seek immediate medical attention and sentenced to 10 years in jail.
Doctors discovered baby Tony had multiple catastrophic injuries to his tiny body – with both his birth parents failing to get him help before it was almost too late.
Medical staff at Evelina London Children’s Hospital saved the tot’s life, but he had to have both legs amputated at the knee as a result of his injuries when he was four-years-old, and has faced countless operations in the years that followed.
Simpson was released from prison earlier this week, after serving only around six years of her sentence.
But after two years on licence she, like Smith, will face no conditions on her freedom.
The evil mum was first released from prison on license in February 2023 – after only serving five years of her sentence.
Then, less than a year later in May 2024, the monster was recalled to prison after starting a relationship with a sex offender – in breach of her conditions.
She was due to be automatically re-released earlier this year, but Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood stepped in – forcing Simpson to face a parole hearing on May 19.
The cruel parent has now been released, with strict license conditions controlling what she does for the next couple of years.
She will have to report any new relationships to her probation officer, get regularly drug tested and will be GPS tagged.
At the time, Paula said: “It just feels very unfair that Simpson is now free to live her life and Tony is still dealing with the consequences of her actions and will be for life.
“I appreciate there is a prison overcrowding crisis and that the Parole Board has placed strict conditions on her, but it does not feel like enough.
“After her license expires in two years’ time she will be completely free to do whatever she wants – including getting in a situation where she could cause harm to more children.”

A MUM has revealed her top hack for making thin hair look instantly thicker – and it will only cost you £8.
Yasmine Fagerson, 31, started suffering from hair loss as a child and found her locks thinned even more when she went on to have kids of her own.
Tiktok/@yasminefagersonYasmine Fagerson has suffered from hair loss and thinning for 20 years[/caption]
Tiktok/@yasminefagersonThe mum left people stunned after revealing her clever hack to make her hair look fuller[/caption]
As a result, she has been left with very little coverage on the crown of her head which she admits leaves her feeling self-conscious.
Although completely natural, hair loss and hair thinning are two very common concerns for millions of people across the UK.
We can lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, according to the NHS.
It is not usually something to worry about, but occasionally it can be a sign of a medical condition.
These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.
The NHS advises to book an appointment with your GP to see if you can get to the cause of it if it is affecting your wellbeing.
For mum-of-four Yasmine, from Scotland, hair loss is something she has struggled with for the past two decades.
She told Fabulous: “My hair loss journey started when I was 11-years-old due to a stressful event in my life.
“My doctor prescribed medical shampoo, but it was still very thin and fine on the top.
“Also with three pregnancies it’s not exactly helped either with the hair on top.”
She added: “My hair is healthy and I saw the hairdresser today who said that, it’s just very thin on the top.
“Because my natural hair is so dark too it’s really obvious that it’s thin as you can see my white scalp easily.”
The brunette beauty, married to Scottish rugby hero Zander Fagerson, has tried root sprays in the past but struggled to find one that would successfully stain her scalp to give the illusion of more hair.
Now, however, she has opened up about her clever haircare routine that has given her a major confidence boost.
And it’s all thanks to the Josh Wood Colour Airbrush Root Spray, which is available in blonde, brown and dark brown.
While the product is designed as a “temporary quick fix” to disguise stray greys or strips of regrowth between colouring, Yasmine has found it is also the perfect solution for her thinning hair.
She said: “I’m not wanting to cover grey hair, I’m wanting to stain my scalp. Which the Josh Woods root spray is really good at doing.
“It’s like a dry shampoo kinda texture, I don’t even use dry shampoo anymore because my hair doesn’t look greasy after using it.”
Yasmine’s tutorial using the miracle root spray proved a huge comfort for othersTiktok/@yasminefagersonTiktok/@yasminefagersonShe swears by the bargain product as part of her haircare routine[/caption]
The Josh Woods root spray is priced at £10 on Amazon or just £8 from Boots – with a current buy one, get one half price offer bringing that cost down even more.
Yasmine uses the miracle product two to three times a week and only has to stock up once a month.
She swears by the root spray for covering her scalp to “hide the fact she has thin hair on the top”.
And she insists it is both sweat-proof and waterproof if you go swimming.
She added: “It lasts for ages, I had to wash my hair multiple times to show how thin I am. I just do a light touch up here and there.”
Yasmine took to TikTok (@yasminefagerson) to show just how effective the bargain product is with a quick hair tutorial.
In the clip, she said: “When I tell people I have thin hair on the top, they’re always like, no you don’t.
“This is me out of the shower, I’ve washed it really well and this is because I normally use root spray to cover my head so I don’t look bald. But as you can see from here, that is a very thin head.
“So I’m going to do my hair and then I’m going to show you what I do to hide it.”
Social media users hailed Yasmine’s amazing resultsTiktok/@yasminefagerson
Yasmine revealed she always dries and straightens her hair as normal, before generously applying the root spray to the thin patch on the top of her head.
After she’s sprayed it, she uses her hairdryer and a large paddle brush to set the product and style her hair.
And the results are incredible, with her locks looking instantly thicker and fuller.
“Look how much better that is already. I feel so much more confident and happy with my hair”, she gushed.
“So yes, that is my insecurity but this little thing helps with it massively. So if anyone else has got this kind of problem, have a wee check out of the root spray because it is amazing.
“I normally buy it off Amazon but I actually went to the website this time because they didn’t have my colour and I’m using the dark brown for obvious reasons.”
SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT
Yasmine’s video quickly racked up 11,000 views and proved a huge comfort for other women who struggle with insecurities over their thinning hair.
One exclaimed: “WOW would never have known, lots of people suffer with this, myself included.”
“Looks great, it makes it look so thick”, insisted a second.
A third wrote: “What a fab tip! Thank you for sharing. I have thinning hair on top too, I believe PCOS has caused mine. I think it’s much more common than we think!”
A fourth echoed: “Thanks for sharing – I have thin hair on top, so to hide it I usually pull it back to hide, but my sides are very thin too, and can’t stand having my hair down.”
“I have a similar problem and have tried a few things but this looks fab. Your hair always looks so thick so thanks for sharing”, added a fifth.
Meanwhile, a sixth said: “Thank you for posting this – I have the same problem and just ordered this spray.”
HAIR LOSS REASONS
Jack Merrick-Thirlway, creative director at Neville Hair & Beauty, said hereditary hair loss is the most common type of hair loss and is transmitted through your genes.
This type of hair loss can start from teen years and although will be difficult to treat, it can be slowed down if treated immediately.
Hormonal imbalances may also cause you to lose hair.
Pregnancy and the menopause are two key times when hormonal imbalances can occur, leading to changes in hair thickness.
However, chronic stress and certain medications can also contribute to these imbalances.
Another hair saboteur is excessive friction. Jacks says those who are wearing a tight ponytail repeatedly may find themselves experiencing hair loss.
Finally, using the wrong products or having too many chemical treatments can lead to hair loss.
HAIR GROWTH TIPS
So, how can we encourage our hair to grow?
Jack says that when shopping for new products to help with hair thickness, there are few ingredients to look out for.
“I’d advise looking out for ingredients such as biotin, collagen, amino acids and products containing vitamin B3. These all help strengthen the hair follicles and promote growth.
“That said, if you feel out of your depth, you can also seek advice with your hair stylist.”
Be wary of too many chemicals in your styling products as they can exacerbate hair loss – and you should also not wash it too often.
“To ensure your hair stays healthy it is important not to over wash it,” advises Jack.
“Instead try and limit washing your hair to two or three times a week.
“Use a gentle shampoo and conditioner to make sure you do not remove any moisture.”
Hair expert reveals how to repair damaged hair
TINA Farey, Editorial director at Rush Hair, shares her advice…
HOW TO RESTORE DAMAGED HAIR
Whilst you can’t fully reserve the effects of damaged hair, you can stop the problem from growing.
Depending on the condition of your hair, I’d recommend getting a trim every six to eight weeks – this will prevent any split ends from travelling further up the hair shaft, which weakens the hair’s overall structure and leads to more breakage.
Even just an inch of the ends will completely transform the appearance of your hair – trust me.
When it comes to products to help restore damaged hair, Goldwell’s Rich Repair Treatment Mask is a firm favourite – strengthening damaged locks to be healthy and shiny once again.
HOW TO PREVENT DAMAGE
My number one tip is to always use a heat protectant – even if you’re only blow-drying your hair.
Consistent heat styling without one will leave your hair open to heat damage.
I’d also recommend refraining from over-washing your hair as this can strip the hair of its natural oils – nobody wants a dry and irritated scalp!
And finally, swap your sleek, slick back for a hair down day!
They may be in fashion at the moment, but over time all that tension on your strands from being pulled will wreak havoc on your hair follicles – this could lead to thinning and bald spots in areas where the hair is constantly pulled.

THE surgeon at the centre of the spinal springs scandal remains on full pay despite being on administrative leave since October 2023, a Dail watchdog heard.
It comes as the Public Accounts Committee also established that the State was forced to fork out €123,000 in legal fees to mediate a dispute with the former CHI CEO who has been moved to a new role but kept her top salary.
Executives from scandal-hit Children’s Health Ireland faced a grilling from TDs and Senators at the Public Accounts Committee today.
Among the series of scandals to rock CHI recently was a shocking report from Hiqa which found that children had non-medical grade springs implanted in their bodies during spinal surgeries.
The Hiqa report exposed a litany of governance issues at our children’s hospitals that failed to keep children safe and prevent non-medical springs being implanted in kids.
In the aftermath of the report, Health Minister Jennifer Carroll McNeill said it was shocking that “a rogue surgeon, however well intentioned” was not stopped in using these springs.
The PAC was today told that the surgeon has been on administrative leave since October 2023 and remains on full pay.
The CHI told the Committee that there was a “HR process ongoing” in relation to the surgeon.
Separately, the PAC also heard that the Chief State Solicitor’s Office was forced to pay out €123,000 in legal fees for a mediation process required to move former CEO Eilish Hardiman to a new role where she receives the same pay.
Ms Hardiman was CEO for ten years and sought another third five year term in 2023.
However, then Health Minister Stephen Donnelly refused this application under a rule where the CEO of a State body cannot work more than two five-year terms.
The PAC heard that Ms Hardiman then took legal action as she claimed that employment law states that two back to back fixed term contracts created a contract of indefinite duration.
LEGAL COSTS
A mediation process was entered into and CHI eventually created a new Strategic Programme Director role where Ms Hardiman earns the same salary of more than €180,000.
The PAC heard that the legal fees for this process cost €120,000, with a non-disclosure agreement also signed by CHI, Ms Hardiman, and the Department of Health.
TDs asked if Ms Hardiman would waive the NDA to enable transparency around the process to which she replied: “I have nothing to hide.”

Former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has shared his own statement on his “great friend”.
The German, who signed Jota from Wolves for £41m in 2020, said on social media: “This is a moment where I struggle! There must be a bigger purpose, but I can’t see it.”
He continued: “Diogo was not only a fantastic player, but also a great friend, a loving and caring husband and father.
“We will miss you so much. All my prayers, thoughts and power to Rute, the kids, the family, the friends and everyone who loved them.”
