New iPhone ‘nudity-spotting’ feature FREEZES video calls if someone strips off

THE NEW iPhone ‘nudity-spotting’ feature freezes video calls if someone strips off.

The new technology is one of the biggest updates iPhone users have received in recent history.

The new feature

iOS 26 is a huge update for iPhone users and it’s not all because of the stunning Liquid Glass design.

During the premiere of iOS 26, Apple announced numerous changes to key apps like Safari and Messages, but barely mentioned the various quality-of-life updates.

One of the updates that wasn’t mentioned is FaceTime’s new ability to freeze the audio and video in a call if someone starts taking their clothes off.

Initially meant as part of Apple’s children protection tools, that feature was discovered in the iOS 26 Developer Beta by iDeviceHelp on X.

Protecting your children online

Along with the iOS 26 announcement, Apple shared the many new tools and updated features meant to help parents protect their children online.

Communication Safety was one of the updated features, which includes nudity detection in FaceTime video calls and Shared Albums in Photos.

That feature is supposed to be only active on child accounts.

However, it appears a similar feature is active for all iOS 26 Developer Beta users.

Whenever FaceTime detects nudity during a video call, it freezes the audio and video of the call and shows a warning screen.

There’s then an option to resume the video and audio with one button or end the call.

There’s no information about the circumstances under which the feature was discovered reports Phone Arena.

Privacy concerns

A feature that could detect nudity during a video call might raise some privacy concerns among users.

However, Apple has a good explanation of how the current Communication Safety features work.

In brief, Apple doesn’t know anything about your calls because the whole monitoring process happens on-device.

But, how many times have you answered the phone only to be met with silence, a spammer, or a sinister scammer? Probably too many to count.

Apple has come up with a solution for iPhone owners called Call Screening in their new update.

The feature works like Live Voicemail, a 2024 feature that transcribes voicemails in real time – giving you a chance to answer them.

It also prevents scammers from being able to hear your voice and then clone it.

Crooks can record you saying certain phrases, and even create AI “fakes” of your voice to use for future scams.

‘It’s a shambles!’ Parents slam £55 Monster Truck ‘extravaganza’ with lame cars in ‘middle of empty, dusty car park’

A MONSTER Truck event has been slammed a “let down”, as attendees demand refunds.

Despite promising an “adrenaline-pumping weekend of thrills”, attendees were left disappointed by long waits for lacklustre performances.

The dusty field wasn’t a suitable setting according to attendees[/caption]

The RA Monster Events’ advert promised “jaw-dropping stunts, heart-racing races, and massive tire-crushing action”.

After paying £19 per ticket for the two-day event at Wolverhampton Racecourse, attendees were underwhelmed by the shows, with some demanding refunds.

The event took place in what some visitors described as a “dusty car park”, which commentators told audiences was causing issues for the vehicles.

Several of the weekend’s events were also impacted by “operational issues”.

One attendee said: “We queued longer to get in the place than we stayed there, there was nowhere to sit and we couldn’t see a thing.

“The event was such a let down, it was an awful experience.”

This was after she had spent £85 on five tickets to bring her truck-loving two-year-old to the event.

Another said that commentators used the terrain as an excuse for the poor display.

She said: “They had advertised a stunt man jumping on fire in the promotional videos, but that didn’t occur. I am assuming it was due to it being slightly windy that day, so unsafe.

After a disappointing first day, she called the ticket provider to ask for a refund on the £55.30 she spent on four tickets.

She was told to contact RA Monster Events directly but hasn’t heard back.

Throughout the weekend, guests were expecting a range of events across bikes, stunts and monster trucks.

She said: “The acts were quite disappointing, seemed very limited and short.

“I felt deceived that the ‘show’ was portrayed as a lot larger and involved a lot more than it actually did, and that certain things were missing, such as the ride on monster trucks,” she added.

The wait time for the acts took upwards of 40 minutes, with over an hour for the finale monster truck show.

This finale only lasted eight minutes and featured one truck driving in circles, crushing four cars.

In an advert for the event it says the morning session would run from 10am-2pm, and the afternoon session from 4-8pm.

The advert also promised monster truck rides, but these were reportedly cancelled on the day.

One family was left disappointed by the finale.

After a forklift moved cars around, leaving four in the middle of the arena, the monster truck “drove round and round and over the cars – it was so disappointing and all felt a bit flat” an attendee said.

He said: “It was just a shambles, the kids were really disappointed.

“The most disappointing thing was the venue and the lack of organisation – a dusty, dirty carpark essentially.”

The attendee said that ground surface impacted the shows, and that it should have been on grass or tarmac.

With temperatures soaring to 34C over the weekend, attendees found it difficult waiting around in the heat.

The open area lacked shade, and the venue charged £2 for bottles of water.

UK Monster Truck Rides, who supplied trucks for the weekend, pulled out of the show and RA Monster’s future shows after the “minimum requirements” were not met.

A statement on RA Monster Events’ Facebook page blamed a former truck partner for withdrawing at short notice.

It said: “The decision to withdraw was made solely by the ride truck operator.

“While we respect their right to make their own operational decisions, we must firmly correct the record: our event fully met all agreed safety and operational standards.

“RA Monster Events is committed to delivering an unforgettable and safe experience for families across the UK.”

Throughout the summer they will be hosting their Motorfest and Funfair events in towns like Market Rasen, Wolverhampton, Hertfordshire and Great Yarmouth.

The Sun has approached RA Monster Events for comment.

I’m taking on the favourite in the Coral-Eclipse with a winner staring us all in the face

Oh for a crystal ball to know who will be in front after a furlong in Saturday’s Coral-Eclipse at Sandown.

It’s a puzzle Carol Vorderman would surely relish.

Horse and jockey racing.
PA
I have a feeling we’ll see the real Delacroix once again in the Coral-Eclipse after his Derby flop[/caption]

As I have written many times, pace is a crucial factor in solving most horse races, but it’s not the be all and end all.

Ultimately, the best horse can win whatever the circumstances, and for those of us looking at an angle into the Eclipse, it’s possible we might just be overcomplicating things believing this is a race to be ‘stolen’ from the front.

After all, on paper strong favourite Ombudsman is the clear form choice.

Indeed, after his Prince of Wales’s romp Ombudsman is not only the best horse in this afternoon’s feature shown live at 3.35 on ITV, but with a mark of 128 he’s actually the best turf horse on the planet.

And that’s an accolade given to the John & Thady Gosden-handled inmate after just six appearances, so there is no reason why he won’t have plenty more to show us.

Ombudsman also has decent course form, having chased home Almaqam on his seasonal return in the Brigadier Gerard, so the track holds no fears.

It was a belting return and no one will be surprised if Ombudsman romps in.

And what about Sosie? Andre Fabre’s rare Eclipse raider is another belting colt.

Sosie has won six of his nine outings and was sent off favourite when finishing fourth in last year’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

Since then, Sosie has run twice, over 1m1f and an extended 1m2f.

He scored on both occasions, landing Group 1s in the Ganay and Prix d’Ispahan.

But I want to take both Sosie and Ombudsman on, even if it seems a bit crackers.

It’s a hunch that the Prince of Wales’s form might not be quite what it looks.

There’s no doubt Los Angeles ran well below par and Anmaat did well in second but the ground was against him.

As for Sosie, despite the evidence I still feel he might be best over a longer trip.

So who might cause an upset?

That’s where the pace angle stares one in the face.

With no pacemaker involved this is an Eclipse gagging for a leader who can keep quickening from the front.

DELACROIX is a strong stayer at this trip, led when landing the Ballysax at Leopardstown and was bang to the fore in the Derby Trial at the same track.

The Dubawi colt, trained by Aidan O’Brien and the pick of Ryan Moore, never showed up at Epsom.

His sire Dubawi has never sired a Derby winner, but he has at least produced two Eclipse winners in Al Kazeem and Ghaiyyath.

In what’s an Eclipse to savour we have two Classic winners in the field in French Derby hero Camille Pissarro and 2,000 Guineas winner Ruling Court to consider, and outsider Hotazhell is no mug himself.

Who will eclipse them? It’s Delacroix for me.

THE HISTORY OF PENNEYS

THE Penneys brand grew from humble beginnings on Dublin's Mary Street, where it opened its first store in 1969.

Known as Primark outside Ireland, the company was the brainchild of Garfield Weston, who hired Dubliner Arthur Ryan to make his vision reality.

Penneys branched into the UK in 1973 with its first store opening in Derby. The UK now has 191 Primark stores in total.

However, the Penneys name could not travel to Britain as the American retailer JC Penney had the right to use the name in the region.

And in 2006, the expansion into Europe began with an opening in Spain, followed by the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Austria, France and Italy.

Primark went Stateside for the first time in September 2015, with the opening of a store in Boston. There are now 27 stores in America with branches in Florida, Brooklyn, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The retailer’s opened its largest store in Birmingham in 2019.

It spans five floors and features Primark’s biggest beauty studio to date, a barbers and three restaurants.

LOVE Island star Billykiss’ very famous ex Islander boyfriend has been revealed – and his girlfriend won’t be very happy.

Fans noticed the connection after Love Island’s Instagram shared a promo shot of her, and he replied: “WOOP WOOP,” followed by fire emojis.

It’s none other than Dami Hope, who rose to fame on the hit dating show in 2022.

On the show, Dami met his now girlfriend Indiyah Polack, who is one of the hosts of Love Island spin-off show, Aftersun.

Another Love Island star, Tyrique Hyde, has brought the fact that they used to date to light, in a recent video.

The caption reads: “Tyrique bantering Dami Hope about Billykiss from Love Island.”

And in the clip, both Tyrique and Dami can be seen together and Tyrique says to the camera: “Shout out Billykiss though, Dami’s ex. If I’m lying I’m dying”

Dami can be seen looking on surprised, and replies: “Oh that’s what we’re doing now? He’s troubled man. He’s so troubled that he had to do that.”

The boys crack up into laughter, with Tyrique saying: “Let’s shoutout all our exes.”

The Sun has contacted their reps for comment.

Despite being exes, the pair appear to now have a close friendship and work together for a party company named License2Party.

A source told the Daily Mail: “Bilikis and Dami have known each other for years after both growing up in Dublin.

“They dated a long time ago but still run a party business together so Dami not given a heads up on her villa entrance may not have gone down well.

“Their former fling is guaranteed to be discussed on Aftersun given Dami’s girlfriend Indiyah is a regular panellist.”

Meanwhile, Dami and Indiyah have been going strong since they met on Love Island three ago, and are the only couple from that series who are still together.

War of words

It’s been something of a tough start for Billykiss romantically in the villa.

Meg went head-to-head with the bombshell over Dejon in Thursday night’s brutal game.

The Islanders took part in a a Superman challenge, donning their finest Clark Kent and Lois Lane outfits.

Yasmin and Gio chose Dejon as the least dedicated.

Yasmin explained her reasoning: “I don’t feel like you’ve dedicated yourself fully to the whole experience.

“I hope you’ve only dedicated to getting to know one person…”

Dejon remarked: “I didn’t know when all of a sudden it’s become a problem wanting one woman.”

Yasmin continued: “There’s other girls in here like Billykiss who picked you to go on a date because she was obviously attracted to you…”

Meg interjected: “Well he clearly doesn’t want her.”

Billykiss then said: “Well he didn’t say that. He didn’t say he didn’t want me.”

Meg hit back: “It’s not up to you guys, we will decide ourselves.”

She then said to Dejon: “You say you’re open then when she’s not around you don’t act like you’re closed.”

Dejon reacted: “I don’t care about any of your opinions, I know what I want and that’s Meg.”

Billykiss replied: “Well close things off, even on the date when I asked if you were open and you wanted to get to know me, you said yes.”

Dejon fired back: “Please Billykiss, is this like your five minutes of TV or what?

“I don’t understand why you’re still going on.”

After some choice words between her and Meg, the exchange ended with Billykiss told Dejon: “You don’t want to hear the truth which is why you’re feeling sour.”

Viewers were full of praise for Billykiss as she finally delivered some home truths to Meg and Dejon.

Pete Taylor insists daughter Katie will ‘shock’ Amanda Serrano in MSG trilogy as he admits camp is in a ‘happy place’

KATIE Taylor’s dad Pete will return to his daughter’s corner for the trilogy showdown with Amanda Serrano.

The 2012 Olympic champ will be joined by her father Pete in her corner for next week’s much-anticipated trilogy clash with Amanda Serrano at MSG.

Pete Taylor is back training his daughter for the bout and has made a prediction for what’s set to be another thriller

The pair famously parted ways before the 2016 Olympics after spending decades together through Katie’s decorated amateur career.

For years since, Ross Enamait has been Taylor’s head coach.

But ahead of what could be the final fight of her career, Pete has reunited with Katie as she looks to mix it up ahead of the July 11 showdown in the Big Apple.

They first reconnected earlier this year, with Katie sharing a video of them training together in March.

That session was their first public session together in years.

And in the build-up to the bout is the focus of a new Netflix documentary, which offers behind-the-scenes footage of Pete’s role in Katie’s fight camp.

Katie admitted it was a bug moment for the father-daughter duo.

Speaking on Netflix, she said: “To be back training with him is huge for me. You can’t mention my story without mentioning my dad.

“We know each other very well at this stage. I know what I need to work on, I know what I need to do. My motivation is still the same… as it always is. Even more so.”

Pete Taylor also spoke of his joy as he added: “This is a happy place for the two of us. We’re just so comfortable here together. Katie’s my child and I know her inside out.

“Even though Ross has been with her for the last 10 years, I still know Katie better than anybody else.

“When you have two people that’s interested in one person, the conversation is always going to be constructive. Two heads is better than one.

“No matter what, she’ll always find a way of winning. No disrespect to Amanda Serrano, I don’t think she has the tools to beat Katie.

“Katie’s got the abilities to adapt all the time and obviously, Amanda’s going to adapt as well.

“You’ve seen the best of Amanda Serrano in both the fights in all fairness, but I still don’t think you’ve seen the best of Katie Taylor.

“I think in this fight you’re going to see the best of Katie Taylor and it is going to shock Amanda Serrano.”

Taylor leads the rivalry 2-0 after controversial decision wins in 2022 and 2024.

But Serrano and many others has disputed both results – setting the stage for what could be a fiery decider in what’s been a legendary rivalry.

The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix from New York City on Thursday, July 11.

Shakira’s patience has reached its limit following some harsh home truths revealed in the Superman challenge.

She and Harry speak by the daybeds and she tells him: “You said you’ve fully ended it with Helena, [and that] there’s nothing there with her.”

Then all of a sudden Meg stands up and says: “You’re telling two different girls two different things. Something’s not adding up there.”

Harry replies: “I think that I’ve been honest with you…”

This only blurs things further for Harry and Shakira, leaving their relationship more confused than ever.

The next day, Harry and Helena venture to the Hideaway for some alone time away from prying eyes.

Later on in the episode an unexpected recoupling sees one couple’s fate sealed.

Meg receives a text: “Islanders, today there will be a recoupling where the boys will choose which girl they’d like to recouple with…”

As the girls stand in front of the firepit and await their fate, one boy makes his choice with the reasoning.

He says: “I don’t really know her as well as I should and I think this is a good opportunity to get to know her fully… I find her attractive and over the last few days she’s really changed my opinion of her.”

Things are about to heat up even more in the villa as an unexpected celebrity guest is set to crash the islanders party.

UK music sensation Katy B is dropping in for a night to remember.

Known for her tracks Katy on a Misson, Lights On and Turn The Music Louder the islander go wild as she puts on an electric performance.

Niall Morgan hailed as ‘unbelievable coach’ as he juggles player/trainer role ahead of Kerry clash

SEÁN Murphy hailed the role played by Niall Morgan as Tyrone prepare to face Kerry in Sunday’s Electric Ireland All-Ireland MFC final.

Senior goalkeeper Morgan is serving on Gerard Donnelly’s minor backroom team this year and his guidance has proved invaluable.

And fellow coach Murphy — who is assisting Donnelly with Ciarán Gourley — gushed when speaking of the impact Morgan has made.

He explained: “Niall is an absolutely unbelievable coach. You could listen to him talk football all day.

“It’s great because the players are going to places like Croke Park and watching the seniors and they’re seeing their coach perform at a very high level.

“He’s backing up everything he’s saying to them. Hopefully he can go another step or two with the seniors as well.”

Morgan was part of the Tyrone side that powered past Dublin in last weekend’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-final.

And the Red Hand keeper is now just two wins away from lifting Sam Maguire — with a semi-final to come against Kerry on July 12.

But it has already been a good summer for the Ulster county, who saw their Under-20s romp to All-Ireland glory in May.

The minors now have a chance to claim more silverware this weekend in Newbridge against Kerry.

And they have been boosted by being able to train close to the seniors and Under-20s this year at their Garvaghy base.

Murphy revealed: “The three squads were all up there together for a few months. It was absolutely class because everybody was in it together. Even around the dressing rooms the vibes were great.

“Obviously the Under-20s ended their season with a great All-Ireland win and our season is coming to an end now as well. The seniors will hopefully keep it going for another wee while yet.

“It’s been great to have that tightness up in Garvaghy together and it’s probably helped all three teams because the buzz has been so good and the results have followed.”

Tyrone and Kerry come into the St Conleth’s Park showdown with perfect records.

The Red Hands have claimed six wins from six, powering through Ulster to collect a 26th provincial title before taking out Cork and Roscommon in the All-Ireland series.

The Kingdom won their third Munster title in a row before seeing off Cavan and Mayo in tight encounters.

The two groups have talented players capable of running up big tallies with Peter Colton, Cathal Farley and Eoin Long impressing for Tyrone.

Murphy namechecked the in-form Ben Kelliher, Kevin Griffin and captain Gearóid White as special Kerry talents.

But he said: “That’s only three I’ve named, Kerry have a load more guys and look a squad with great talent.”

The Tyrone and Kerry seniors will meet the following Saturday in the latest instalment of an epic rivalry between the counties that goes back decades.

But Murphy said they will not lean into the history element for the minor meeting.

He added: “It wouldn’t matter what county we came up against, it’s an All-Ireland final at the end of the day. Winning it is the main objective.

Five men whose shackled bodies washed up on holiday island died at sea after being forced to drink salt water and urine

FIVE men found in the sea off Mallorca with their hands and feet bound up with rags died after starving, drinking their own URINE and sea water, distraught relatives have revealed.

As suspected, the bodies were those of African migrants who had tried to get to the Spanish holiday island to start a new life in Europe.

The engine on the overloaded boat bust after two days at sea[/caption]

There was shock and horror when the five corpses were discovered in the ocean off the Balearics and it was thought they had been murdered on the crossing and then thrown into the water with their feet and hands tied.

But their families have now revealed they were bound because of a death ritual after they died of starvation on the two week hazardous journey.

And they confirmed that they were so hungry and thirsty that they had to resort to drinking their own urine and fatally, sea water.

They also ate just ONE date a day.

Dramatic pictures and a shocking video have been published by Spanish newspaper Diario de Ibiza showing the migrants packed into the tiny boat on the choppy ocean.

At one stage, their distress is evident as they wave orange sticks to try and attract passing boats.

Their tiny boat had left Algeria and was adrift for two weeks as the engine had broke down during the second day of the crossing.

After receiving the survivors, who were between 15 and 27 years old (there were several minors on board), the Red Cross found that most of them had very acute symptoms of dehydration, wounds and infectious symptoms.

During their anxiety, they fed themselves with a date a day and most ended up drinking their own urine to survive, since they consumed all the milk and fresh water they had on them.

“One of the people had eaten toothpaste because he did not have anything else and did not want to let go of the bottle when he arrived here,” the Red Cross explained to the Alicante newspaper Información.

All the migrants were Somalis, except for the two alleged skippers, who are Nigerian nationals.

One of them died during the crossing and the other was arrested by the National Police.

He is accused of crimes of organising  illegal immigration, reckless homicide, injuries and membership of a criminal organisation.

Doctors said those who chose to ingest seawater ended up dying.

In addition, the information provided by the Red Cross to the authorities regarding the causes of death of the body that was in the boat also eliminates any theory of a violent death.

“The fundamental cause of death is hypoglycemia. Ketoacidosis. Metabolic syndrome,” says the communication.

Hypoglycemia occurs when glucose levels, the body’s main source of energy in the blood, fall below what is healthy for the body.

On May 18, ten days after the boat was rescued near Alicante, a handcuffed body arrived on the coast of Formentera.

ver the next few weeks, the trickle of corpses continued to total five. They were all wearing an orange vest and were tied hand and foot.

The brother of one of the survivors of the crossing said that in Islamic tradition, it is customary in Somalia to wrap the body. tie their legs and bend their hands so that they hold each other.

The migrants did not have the means to wrap the bodies but they were able to perform these ties, like funeral rites, before throwing the bodies overboard.
